How soon after childbirth is everyone starting to think about exercise ?
My little lady is only a week old tomorrow so I'm not ready yet but just wondered how soon others were starting and what they are doing

M/C Oct 2012 after 4 months trying
BFP again !! - Nov 2012 - Confirmed Twins at 6+5 then my dreams were crushed at 8+ weeks when one of our twins sadly died.

I think after ds3 I started 2-3 weeks and I lost it all within a monthish...
Holy cow it's already been a week! Time flies!

It depends on how YOU feel. There's no blanket prescription.
What you do need to be aware of is that your joints are still soft and easily injured for 12-18 months after you give birth so you may want to go real slow at first. I have personally found it's easiest for me to wait till my little ones are 2, I know it sounds like a long time but when I try to exercise much sooner than that I always get injured.
