OMG I am sooooo happy for you Butterfly :hugs:
I have been sick and back & forth between the hospital & my bed so coming and catching up on your great news brings a smile to my face. If I am having a boy I will definitely need ur advice on how to sway pink for baby #2. I have to wait until Sept. 27 to find out what I'm having & I'm scared, nervous, excited, & every other emotion! My question is what did you feel like you were carrying all along? Sometimes I feel I'm having a boy other times I feel I'm having a girl and then there's times that I say well I feel like I'm carrying a baby LOL

Babyy Love, there you are sweetie! I was thinking of you when I found out too, and I wanted to tell you but then I thought no, I would rather surprise you!
Oh my goodness, the hospital!!! Does this mean you are going through Hyperemesis Gravidarum?
I HOPE NOT!!!! :sigh:
If you are then I would guess you are carrying a little cupcake yourself!
This little girl has made her momma sick 24/7 to some degree. I have stopped throwing up as much, so that is good!
From the day of my BFP, I felt my baby was a Girl. Then as my scan approached, I felt Boy...then with my crappy doc scan Girl.. and I kept that feeling until confirmation!
GD was taking place of my gut feeling! So maybe that is happening to you?
Try not to drive yourself crazy. The 27th will be here before you know it!
I hope you feel better love! :HH:

OMG! I'd say 2 weeks ago I started wearing pads for for that!
I did stop, but now I've started again..
It's so annoying!

Hehehe I have not tinkle YET but I know others who tinkle when they sneeze or laugh.
I suffer from vertigo badly and was very nauseous and dehydrated and STILL vomit occasionally so who know maybe I do have that but as far as I know it was only a vertigo issue when I was in the hospital. I was super dizzy for almost 2 weeks & dehydrated and I walk around with a gallon of water and drink at least 2 gallons and find it strange that I was dehydrated and honestly still am. I lost soooo much weight! I weigh less than I did pre pregnancy but love bug is still healthy. I cannot wait until the 27th and with trying to find a place to live it should get here quick. I just spend my days adding on to my registry..some say it's too soon but I'm just having fun! And nothing wrong with preparing ahead of time right!? I even have my god sister to help who is having her baby shower the 22nd and birthing classes every weekend..wait is it a good idea if I'm there while shes giving birth?? And thank u butterfly so far I am feeling way better than before but still can't get rid of the bad headaches and occasional need to puke or the turn off for food

:HH: I am so sorry hon!!! :(
In and out of the hospital sounds horrible. But if you are that dehydrated are they giving you a picc line so you can give yourself iv fluids? I hope not, but whatever is best for baby! My heavy friend that I keep talking about that is expecting girl #3, has HG...and she throws up everything! All her fb statuses are about it. She has a picc and they have her do 2 bags of fluid a day and it takes like 6 hours to administer! CRAZY stuff! I feel so bad for her! Anyone that would be that sick, I am so sorry for!
Nothing wrong with having fun with a registry! I can't wait to get my gender party underway so the family will do a much needed baby shower for us! :)
Good luck with trying to find a place to live! I hope that goes over well and you find one quickly.
In the meantime, take care of yourself and your little bean! For the headaches, perhaps try magnesium if tylenol won't help. :HH:

It's just been SUCH an amazing week, and it's sinking in more and more every day that I have a daughter on the way! Everyone keeps asking if we have been shopping yet, and the answer is no we have not, but we will probably do that this weekend! At least to look! ;)
And when we do our first purchases I would love to share with all of you like you have asked.
Thank you :HH:
I just love my little cupcake! What a blessing she is!

I also wanted to add that this week I remembered how I did the red cabbage gender test and got a blaring Red Boy result at almost 10 weeks pregnant....
and here it is:
4339
Now the ladies on this site that tried it got the opposite of their baby's gender.
Boy carriers got Girl results. So, ladies that want to do this old wive's tale test just realize that it's just for fun.. and here's your proof why.
I've only seen ONE wrong result on youtube, which is crazy to me, so when my turn came to do this test I was very nervous and thought it would turn purple or blue.

My cabbage test was pretty reddish too. All those tests are really just for fun to kill the time until our gender scan.
Butterfly - get out shopping - it's so much fun to finally shop in the girl section! I still feel a bit like an imposter when I'm in with all that pink stuff!

They give me an IV every time I go to the hospital but not at home I mean I drink so much water that I'm an ocean. I sweat really bad though and vomit which is why I am so dehydrated. I was in the hospital yesterday actually..I fainted in the store (so embarrassing!) thank god someone caught me! I was shopping alone too but that store was a hotbox which is why the owner kept apologizing. Sometimes I eat too much other times I can't even think about food without feeling nauseous but I always drink water, juice, and Ginger ale and as for my headaches Tylenol always does the job or a quick nap.

I am so sick lately that I find that I am having a HARD time swallowing all my supplements and I either skip them or my thyroid pill because they have to be spaced 4 hours apart and eating has to be spaced 2 hours from my thyroid pill...
So I am starting to think...crush them and put them in jam! Would make my life so much easier!
So now, I'd love to know an effective way to crush them so I don't have to go through hell daily..
anyone? lol

As far as moodiness you can blame the HORMONES. I am also extra bitchy..
When you realize you are doing it, just keep saying you love him and apologize for "Prego Monster"
RRL strengthens your uterine lining. I took it because of my loss. Nothing is automatic pink sway..however me and Mocha took it after our losses and swayed pink. I don't know if anyone else is using it to sway in general. But the thought has crossed my mind that maybe some ladies should try it?

Just both of you need to stop and breathe, but unfortunately you will have to get used to some of that because being a parent is HARD!..and you'll get into fights about what baby wears, what toys to buy, and your styles of parenting and discipline..ETC
DH and I still do.

So I have my Sonaline B doppler to put my mind at ease!

By nature I think most women just want girls..but they just do not realize how sweet, and fun..and beautiful baby boys are. The bond between momma and son is so wonderful.
DH laughs at me now and says..."I don't get why you want a girl SO bad...she's going to bond to me!"
If you have a son, you will love him to pieces!!!!
And he will be the BIG brother to your next babe!
I'm going to miss that baby boy bond, so I AM HAPPY..and sad! lol

I agree boys are wonderful. I always only wanted girls but then they told my with my first it was a boy I had a moments of disappointment then thought oh well lucky little sister when she comes along she will have a older brother to look after her (I always wanted an older brother). #2 when they told me it was another boy I cried for the rest of the day. I was so sure he was a girl, the ultrasound tech was horrible and I don't think that helped my mindset. Then I thought lucky DS1 will have a brother to play with. #3 I am not sure if I had talked myself in being alright with another boy I really thought I was. I suppose I will never know bc I got my girl. My boys are soooooo close to me and love me to bits.

One boy is amazing, but the two of them together bonding and playing is well I don't have to explain it as you already know. Thanks for sharing your experience! So are you swaying pink now sweetie? I really hope that you get your baby girl!

Everyone always wants or it always seems like they have the boy 1st which is why I didn't want the typical thing. I want to be different! Don't get me wrong I want a boy I just want him to be my youngest child. I think I sound crazy or may confuse some when I say why I want it that way. Some days I'm just so fed up like listen whatever u are u are! And other days I prolong finding out the sex. I would've know the 30th of August but I kept changing my appointments. A part of me just isn't ready I do not want to feel down of its not my desire gender.

That's just what they call it right. LOL I need to go and do the important U/S so they can do all their measurements. I'm still DYING to know just where i'm measuring because I haven't had one since 6 wks 5 days and I'm convinced I'm at least a few days ahead of "their" measurement because I didn't do transvaginal at the time.
I will get a DVD and more pictures too, so I am VERY excited about that!

Ohhhh, I think I read this wrong the first time around. I read it as you were itching to have your big u/s (as in, you were anxious for it). But I went back and re-read it and I see now that you literally meant you are ITCHY. LOL! I am such a dork!
Anyway, sorry about the itching. I have no clue what it could be, I was never itchy in my pregnancies. Perhaps just the skin stretching as your belly grows? Have you tried cocoa butter? I know it worked well for my SIL.

So frustrating evening... DH got a call from his mom saying "There is a party tomorrow at ___ and you and __ are the guests of honor" And he goes "Uhhhhh what party!?" And she goes "Gender Party".
OMG.......:hair: Guess who wanted to host it... my SIL who wanted to buy the original gender ultrasound so she could be the first one to find out and ultimately ruin the surprise. ARRRRGH! We never would have told his mom anything!
But everyone is DYING to find out apparently.. and I'm afraid she can't keep it in much longer.
This is our party and our surprise, and our announcement.. I was just angry as hell...that she would take that from me.. and that ironically wanted to throw it at her new place. Yep, this is exactly why she isn't in my life.. she makes my BLOOD BOIL!!!!
Well luckily it won't go down now.. until the day we have it on because we are going to throw it, and I asked him to call his mom and make it clear that it's our party and we are throwing it!
Okay I need to go breathe now and calm down.. just had to come on and vent.

It's okay, she wants a close relationship..and many ppl tell me to stay away from her. She's not DH's sister..she's HIS SIL too! lol We will just talk at family parties and call it good. I don't want to be close with anyone in his famiy, it's better that way! MUCH less drama! lol
He called his mom up and well, his mom really wants to do the gender party at her house.. and plan with us so I guess that's okay. She's REALLY excited about it. So we will get together with her this weekend and plan.
As far as your situation, I've been thinking about you and what to say but it's hard. Where are you staying now?
Maybe some space from DH is the best thing for now?

I took some MUCH needed space & we talked about a lot of things so it's getting better & I heard baby's heartbeat yesterday :) 140-142 & I was so worried because all I had was water & every time I don't eat the heart rate is slow. I Am so not ready for next Thursday although we made our own BET which is fine with me..hell it was MY idea lol but if it's a boy I win!! I'm already thinking of what to buy with my $300. If he wins well who cares!! But I am nervous I guess the feeling of knowing what I'm having makes me feel even more like oh no it's almost time for you to come out of here and the videos of child birth is truly torture to my soul!!

I am SO SO SO glad that things are going well for you guys, and you can find some peace together. It's a stressful journey, but I'm proud of you that you both realize you are in this together and things are getting really exciting as you are about to discover the gender of your first baby together! I have my 20 wk scan on Monday..I'm so excited! More pics, and FINALLY a DVD! Also getting cranked up for our Gender Party. We are going to go talk to MIL tomorrow about plans and ideas.. Everyone in his family is just dying to find out what we are having and probably will be delighted that a party goes with it. His mom already told us "There are a few that thinks it's a boy." Well that's to be expected. LOL I wouldn't care if they all thought Boy.. it's a better shock factor!
So are you going to find out then??? When is your scan ;)
I really hope you do.. we are due date buddies damn it and have been going through this whole TTC and prego journey together! LOL

We have been thru this crazy but well worth it journey together but I think in 2 more day I will make my final decision about if I wanna know or not I just can't shake the nerves yet! I feel like once I know what baby is then its more real like oh my gosh you are coming!! I'm just excited for the holidays & dressing up with this big belly & getting baby gifts. I even can't wait to paint the room a pretty color for baby! I finally have pictures of my belly but I'm clueless as to how I add them from my phone. My mom is very judgemental & she says things that bothers both hubby and me like "eww you're barely showing!" everyone else says I'm pretty big for 5 months and I think the same thing! I think my belly is super super low but big! The baby has been really low so my doctor recommended a belly band/belt & I'm noticing that there's less pressure & my belly is even picking itself up!! :-D

Well I had my 19-20 week anatomy scan today.. I don't know how to feel.
I still have a daughter, that's the great news, but they want me to come back in 4 weeks for 2 reasons (I've never had to have a follow up scan!)... #1 baby is low.. too close to the cervix but they say it can raise up in time.. #2 The claimed that my baby wasn't positioned right enough to get a good look at the heart.. but DH and I were confused as we could see it just fine, esp when the doctor came in after the tech to explain. And it was such a hectic day I could not get to my appt on time so I was super late and couldn't go to my doc appt afterwards to discuss what is really going on. I don't always trust medical professionals because they will sugarcoat things and say not to worry etc...because that's exactly what she said to me (the doc) she said if baby stays low then it's not safe for a vaginal delivery annnd I was thinking...WTF? I have been looking into things this time that I never did before, even earlier delivery, and maybe that's God's way of preparing me..who knows, only time will tell.
And I knew something is off like baby is low or whatever because this has been the most uncomfortable pregnancy to date.. she's hard to carry! I'm always feeling pressure or stretching pain even when I'm sitting and resting it's crazy.. lol I don't know how bad it will get before I am full term!!!! YYYIKES!
I guess I'll be saying a lot of prayers from now on. I know how blessed I am right now though, please don't take that the wrong way. :)

Try not to worry Butterfly. This happened to my cousin with her first baby...they couldn't get a good view of all the chambers of the heart because of the way the baby was positioned. She had to go back and all was fine. Her baby girl is now 4 months old.
And for my little peanut, it took the tech and the dr. so long to get good views of some areas...my little girl was just being uncooperative.
Prayers to you.

Well let me start by saying...
4799 to GD!!! :)
I am so very happy, I've been in shock the past just over a month but at the same time a teensy bit worried things would change, but I'm now solidified in my belief that she's a GIRL! LOL
That's wonderful that you would like to try swaying! I would for sure at least try it before going HT.
And having a son, is such an amazing and sweet experience. The bond between you and them is worth it's weight in gold! I never pictured having boys, but I wouldn't change my life for anything, they are so close to me as their mamma!
It's so nice to get the cherry on top in the end though, I must admit! ;)
Finding GD and the amazing women on it was such a blessing!!!
In my heart I feel that swaying did indeed give me my daughter, because not only did I increase my chances scientifically, but I manifested my desire to God, and I did the research and work to make her possible.
I'm not the traditional LE diet pink sway.. in fact I'm the complete opposite.
I ate healthy everything..I mean I had a good balance of everything in my nutrition.
I took Vitex, B50 complex, calcium and magnesium.
DH took calcium, magnesium and extra strength cranberry.
I used Sylk and RepHresh, and I depended on ions 24/7 had a bracelet I never took off and a salt lamp going all the time.
I tried to conceive her for about 6 months before I found GD and then began to sway by 10 months I was pregnant, but I had a M/C..so that also swayed Pink..And by 12 months I got my Rainbow baby!
I completely believe that you can achieve your sway if you put your heart into it..believe in it, jump in with both feet and go for it.. don't question it or look back! And if it doesn't work, I would just say that little one earned their way into your family. When will you begin your sway? Have you been pointed in the right direction to start? :)

Oh and with the heart thing, they're looking for specific defects with valves, holes in the heart, etc that won't register on the Doppler. They just want to get a good look is all. With Suzy they kept me in there quite a while because she wouldn't hold still and they wanted to get a good look - which I was actually glad because the tech didn't see a penis the whole time haha.

Well I'm SUPER excited! I hope you remember your due date buddy in your decision! ;)
It does make it more real to add an identity to your little one, and start to shop! Now that it's been confirmed confirmed although DH had no fear I was a teency bit nervous..lol
I will now FOR SURE convince DH that we need to hop on those end of season clearance deals!!!!!
I'm taking my daughter home in a dress lol even if it has leggings! So after our gender party it's ON, and I will post that first sacred girl item for everyone that has asked to see! The time has just FLOWN and DH has been working a lot to get ready for the Holidays so, we haven't been able to get out and shop together.
It will be fun to have a big belly at Christmas won't it! ;)
Okay, so for your pics, go ahead and email them to yourself from your phone, and then open your email and save the picture to your computer.. then you post it here by clicking the tree picture icon and >My Computer>Click Image> and then Upload Image. Easy Peasy :)
I think I might just get a belly band!
I don't have a computer anymore :( that's the big issue
But YES definitely invest in the belly band or belt whichever suits you better it's worth it for me it gives me support for my bad back. I got mine from motherhood plus some free gifts lol but that's here in NY. Without it some days are tough because it really lifts my belly

Hello, everybody!! New to the forum!! I had a quick question! So I started taking Femaprin (Vitex & B6) and after 2 1/2 weeks I O'ed on CD47!! First +OPK in over 6 months! Anywho, I am 2dpo, should I stop taking it? Or wait til AF starts? I am not currently TTC, just try to regulate AF so that when hubby gets back from deployment we can be ready to go!! ;) Thanks for listening!!! :):):)

YES, Stop the Vitex, you should have stopped before you thought you were Oing hon.
Vitex is harmful in pregnancy so whether or not it stops O is not the only reason to quit taking it, it's so it doesn't harm your precious egg.
Just for the record I M/C in April and I had a +opk for several days. I kept taking the Vitex and there was a day I even took an extra pill thinking I would O! Well So that was like 7dpo..
Since then I've learned from other ladies that Vitex can cause multiple opks and also that opks are not an indicator that O has occured. My advice is stay off the Vitex until first flow day of AF, but take a preg test just to make totally sure you aren't pregnant, and then take opks and when the line is getting pretty dark but not there yet, go ahead and come off the Vitex. :)

Thanks, hun!! I am currently not TTC and I definitely O'ed!!!! My OPKs were only positive once (only 1 line for a week then BAM positive) and I sure as heck felt it!!! The other days it was negative. So I will stay off of it until AF comes?? Thanks for the warm welcome!!! :):):)

So update on me: Baby girl is definitely stealing my beauty. My forehead is covered with little bumps and extra oily. Ugh!
What can I do? Apricot scrub? I need to do something! I'm not used to it!
The upside is I haven't felt as sick..except when I get up and choke on my own phlegm haha
I've been working like mad on some decorations for the Gender Party on Sunday, but I don't want to take any pics until they are done because that would spoil things! meanwhile the house goes to hell lol...gotta love sites like pintrest, the newest I found, indulgy, and of course google! I can't do it all nor can I afford it, but it's sure been FUN getting a bit crafty!
Some of the things only cost a few dollars that anyone can do. I found another thing that I want to do, and I won't be able to get back to the store until Sat so i'll have to rush!
Also the past few days I haven't felt as much pressure as before so maybe my baby is moving up on her own! Gosh I hope so!

Ok, just to complicate things, it's not good for your body to stop vitamins like B6 cold turkey. So it's ok to stop vitex at O and in fact you should, but you need to continue the B6 somehow until you get a BFP (or you can take it thru the first tri as long as it's less than 150 mg, it may help with morning sickness) and then very gradually wean off over a period of 2-3 weeks. If possible, it may be safer for you to take vitex and b6 separately.

Oily and breakout!? OMG that's happened to me too and biore does the trick..well I've always used biore but now I can use the different facial cleansers such as the 1 for oily skin & I use this 1 that is for the steam in the shower to activate it. Now I'm thinking more about pink..stolen beauty!? Uhhh oily skin with pimples, my nose is spreading eww! And my freckles are so much more visible but they aren't so cute anymore lol especially since they seem like they got bigger

Yes it has been fun! :) I need to finish one of the items tonight. It's so beautiful and simple.. and in the end I can either give it to my mom or my MIL as a gift. Although maybe my MIL might like it more. lol I still have to run to the store until I'm satisfied.. I keep changing my mind! DH pissed me off today though.. I asked him how he wants to do the reveal for his family and he's like "Do whatever you want, it's your party!" Oh yeah... really? Uh huh ..
But he's the type that doesn't even want a baby shower even though we have NOTHING girl except the 2 dresses for crying out loud. Oh well... I have to decide.. it's going to be a late party around 6:30 pmish because some of his family have to go to church for hours. So if it's dark outside since the days are getting shorter because we are in Fall.. I don't know I can't decide if I want to do the box of balloons like I did for my mom... or pull a paper lantern with pink confetti coming out.. His family isn't familiar with gender parties at all.. so they would like either one.
And yes mam! I had great skin with my boys.. I never even had a pimple besides what I always have those stupid blackheads all my life!... BUT when I got pregnant in April it was a sign that I was pregnant I got a huge pimple. And this time I've just had an increase of them all over and now this oily forehead thing.
I just can't believe how bumpy and oily my forehead is.. yuck! And ever since I heard of baby girls stealing mom's beauty it does make me smile because I know she is a girl and I didn't experience it with my boys.
I was such an idiot with my last pregnancies (boys).. I even used Noxema followed by medicated apricot scrub! Ugh!
Now I want to use it so very badly and I can't! What can we do? Maybe one of those facial brushes.. hmm I don't think the apricot scrub on it's own would do any harm.. I better look into it.. but yeah Babyy... you know I think your baby is a girl especially from what you shared with me today that we have in common! ;)

Does your face get itchy?? I was pimple free in my teen years except when aunt flow came but even then it was like 1-2 pimples but NOW!? Big itchy sometimes red oily bumps and OMG my back too!! I have always washed my face thinking it would lighten my freckles (lol I always hated them) but now I wash my face a lot more throughout the day because it feels so greasy! Apricot scrub makes my skin feel so raw & abused but I've heard of cucumber facial rubs helping also. The biore pores strips are the BEST! Takes those blackheads right out!
As for the party I think it would be so pretty and girly if you had lots of confetti pink & silver to make it shine :) and u MUST have a babyshower its a girl!!

My face never gets itchy I was blessed with pretty good skin until I got the nose blackhead thing in my teens.. and I know Biore pulls them out but they come back in a few days :( My DH also has that problem, so my daughter probably will too.
My skin has gone downhill the last few years and after baby comes I'd like to go to a dermatologist and see what can be done.. after I try my old regimin first.
I did learn a trick I want to tell you though.. before you use the strip make a baking soda water mix and take those round cotton pads and get them wet and put them on your nose for several mins and then do the pore strip.. it takes even more out than usual, like pretty much all of them!
I'm pleased to hear about your skin problems right now even though it's not fun for either of us. I just hope you have a sweet little girl too cooking in there!
Ahhh Pink and Silver together that sounds so pretty!!! Here's the thing though.. My DH HATES confetti and glitter!!!!!!
hahahahahahahahahaha but he said I could choose! So maybe I will do that!
So here's the idea.. and I found this particular blog last night but I found the idea weeks ago and it didn't look as fun lol

And I have never heard of using baking soda for blackhead removal that's so cool lol do u make it into like a paste? I know u can put it on your feet for itchiness too..my brother suffered from athletes foot & I made it and he said it worked. I like that idea from the blog but when I think of confetti I think lots and lots of it lol maybe buying the confetti bottle that shoots out and putting all the pink in there an shorting it at everybody would be fun

Well the Gender Party happened on Sunday, and I had been up for hours working on preparations for it! I didn't get some things done, like a balloon bouquet and something else but I was so tired that I didn't care and we even tried to move the party..but my MIL went ALL out for it with food and I wasn't aware! So we did it.. I was a zombie with my hubby but it was very fun for how simple it was. DH and I were right on time for the party at his bro's house but his family had to wait for us to decorate. But they loved my decorations so they didn't care!
My MIL bought Subway sandwiches and cheesecake... OMG we are all starving as his family had been in church all day! I was feeling a tad nauseous while eating it though, probably due to lack of sleep.
With the reveal I decided to go with the paper lantern confetti idea that me and Babyy came up with. We placed a pink tablecloth underneath the HUGE white lantern that took me like 8 hours to make. And the girls excitedly said "Does that mean it's a girl!?" And I said "No it was just the closest one" lol
So...3..2...1.. and DH and I pulled the strings we attached to the bottom of the lantern and probably a handful of hot pink confetti came showering out. So as it was sitting on the floor DH and I didn't say anything and let everyone stare at it because during the party we let them know that we did know what it was..
Finally one of my SILS says "It's a Girl!?!" And I barely could get out "Yep... It's A Girl!" And then emotionally losing it as the room exploded with excitement! So I walked away from the lantern not even trying to get the confetti out because I was a tad embarrassed! LOL I did have regrets afterwards.. The confetti was SO fine that it was like glitter so on camera you couldn't see any fall out of it. On camcorder you do see the shower of pink so that makes me happy! If I could go back I would have put a lot more stuff like paper.. and crepe paper that slowly falls to the floor LOL.
It's just a reminder to me that I'm a bit of a perfectionist and need to accept that life doesn't always go the way we plan even after hours of prep!
The losers had to put on bibs, suck on binkies and eat baby food! The pictures and video were so priceless.
Later on on of the little girls wanted to get the rest of the confetti out and I let them..but really as it showered out it was hard to see so that made me feel better at least that if more would have come out it really would not have mattered.
I don't regret having the party or doing all my hours of prep..it was exciting, and the anticipation of everyone was so GREAT! Here are some pictures of the party:

Hence the over excitement! hahaha :) My SIL walked right up to us and said "I didn't know he was capable of making a GIRL!" I said I was a bit worried about it in the past and thought about all I did to sway and just laughed! Ironically though, his family.. as you see in the background is mostly girls!
So as it stands now there are 10 girls and 3 boys from his brothers and sisters kid total.
and we added on 2 more boys.. so 10 and 5
and this girl will make 11 and 5 but there's one on the way as my SIL is like 10 weeks now and she doesn't know yet what it is..
It is an interesting balance, and DH is the only one who lost almost all his hair early on and we looked it up and that means he has more testosterone than the others! LOL
So thank the Lord for ways to sway!!!

GOOD! Take lots of pics and video you won't ever forget it!
NO not her! LOL Now she's been harassing DH phone for the last week trying to give us her old carseat and a baby gift otherwise threatening to take the gift back to the store.
She wants to come over to give the gift... I would rather just get it at Halloween or not at all.. lol And with the last carseat we took from her there was too much drama attached to it! I was SUPER stressed she still hadn't given it to us and I was about to deliver, and then finally when she visited she brought it. Then when she had her baby she had to have one of the carseat bases back etc. I would rather DH and I buy our own carseat this time.

It's your first girl so you should def buy everything on your own I think you would enjoy it that way! I was raised to believe it was bad luck to take some a bed/crib, carseat or other things like that from others basically its only OK to except the clothes everything else is off limits

I went into the doc yesterday for a pelvic and got right in. He did a prenatal with it lol which I wasn't prepared for.
I'm naked from the waist down laying down with the drape on and he's finding the heartbeat and doing the fundal measurement..ha, ackward! Though he was professional it was a bit uncomfortable!
I went right in because I didn't want to play around incase it was BV because that is a bad infection to have being prego.. but luckily it's just yeast.. so yay for me for the next week I get to treat that!
Never had it during pregnancy lol. But thank you DD, I'm peeing constantly when I sneeze and wretch! But you are worth it! haha

Hi SweetSister!
Okay.. well I was itching and inflamed for a few days and it wasn't getting any better and as soon as DH wanted to "play" I knew ...alright damn it and then finally I went and looked and I was RAW red so I knew I had to go into the doc pronto!
He was fast and gentle, it's never fun to be opened up with that device.. but it's necessary for our health ugh! lol
I told him DO NOT give me a pap smear please I don't want spotting! He knew that lol anyways just a quick swab and the next day I was told it was a yeast infection. So I bought a 7 day treatment. The 3 day one NEVER works for me.
Go get checked out hon, it won't be that bad. If it's BV he told me it can cause water breaking and other stuff! Let me know! :HH:

Well we had a family Halloween Party last night and I searched the internet for a while a few weeks ago trying to decide what to do while prego during Halloween.. and I came up with this idea. It's an iron on off of etsy. :) We were so late to the party so not a lot of people got to see it so I can't wait for Halloween! I just wanted to share. I always wanted to paint my tummy if I had a big one at Halloween..but this was more unique and fun and everyone that saw thought it was so cute. My family went as punk rockers. Even DH who ironed it on is pleased with my selection and said it was "Cute" and last night for the first time he said .. "I'm not gonna lie.. I'm excited to see how our daughter turns out and see who she looks like." Melted my heart to hear it! :) He said it because I was mentioning how lucky we were that DS#1 looks exactly like me and DS#2 looks like him. It's so fun to have it that way!

Okay ladies and my close friends: I had my second anatomy scan today to see baby's heart and if she's moved up and such and they determined that her heart is great, and she doesn't have a cleft lip or anything, and I got the neatest shot of her upper lip and nostrils..but her little head was in the way and so they could not really determine if she's moved up or not... so instead of the transvaginal which I did not want any part of I just suggested I come back again so.. I get another scan in a month! I feel so blessed to be able to see my daughter so much! I only got one single scan with my boys. Even DH thought it was fun. I got another DVD and pics too!
My tech and the doc made sure she's still a girl :)
Afterwards I had my prenatal appt and got that out of the way. So that's my update, and I hope everyone is doing well.

Well, I went to my last "for medical purposes" scan today. My baby has moved up to a safe distance from my cervix..like 3 cm ..so that's GOOD, I'm a candidate for vaginal birth again, and that's a relief! That's what they were waiting for! I am kinda sad though, I wanted her to stay down so I could come back again next month! ((LOL)) I got a very nice tech who let me see her in 3/D 4/D and I got it on DVD and pics. It was neat and something I'll treasure forever, even though she mostly hid behind her hands.. we got glimpses of her little face and a handful of pictures! When I can I will scan at least one, but I just wanted to update. I hope everyone is doing well.

It's because they are so darn expensive! If I wouldn't of had the medical scan I never would have gotten to see her in 3D/4D And I will get a picture up soon. They are neat!
I haven't posted much on me lately because of the boy streak, I just want to keep everything on the DL because I don't want to rub anything in anyones face. I love everyone here so much as you understand. ;)

So update on me: I've had a brutal cold that came on very quickly! This is the second one I've caught this pregnancy.
I've been taking care of my kiddos and then completely konking out and sleeping for MANY hours!
My baby seems to have gone into a bit of hibernation the past 2 days.. which has me a tad worried because she was so extremely active and kicking hard and constantly. Does it mean she's in a bit of distress because I'm sick? I remember reading recently that if baby suddenly decreases movement, he/she is distressed. My DH asked me if baby has a cold too because I do, and I said "No, I don't think so, I really think she's safe, maybe just a tad distressed."
I am not happy to have caught a cold before Christmas, but if I can battle it and be better by Christmas, I say that's a better thing to get sick earlier. It still SUCKS though!
Anyone else getting sick besides Tiggerian? ;) I know you're feeling icky woman!

LOL
What I mean is.. Holy shiz, she is SO close to the surface, and I feel like she's constantly stabbing me with her elbows or pushing.. HARD...rock hard I've just never experienced this before..to where the pain stops me in my tracks and I say "OWWW!!!" out loud and DH looks at me like "What, what!?" She is violent when she moves!!! I just wanted to throw this in there so I can look back on it. Need to get the camcorder out to record her moves.. like I've never seen.

Wishing all my GD ladies a joyous Holiday Season. I hope that you all have a prosperous New Year as well! Prosperity doesn't necessarily mean financial riches, it means to live well. And if you have people trying to get you down in any way, always remember that the BEST revenge is to live well. Embrace POSITIVITY.. because your mind is one powerful instrument! Make realistic goals and find a way to achieve them. Make changes for you and nobody else. Reaching personal goals and doing all you can to get there will bring you a sense of happiness and self worth. And always remember.. What you have now, is what you once desired. Wonderful husbands, and a family of your own, perhaps you are even a homeowner, and that in itself is an amazing dream that we all wish we could have. I wish there was a way to give everyone their DG on here. You all deserve it SO SO much! Just sway in the way that you feel is best for you, so you have no regrets and if you get pregnant, at least you have another little bundle to love... you wanted so hard to achieve pregnancy and you finally did it! I look at many of the hardcore opposites in the past 2 months and I really just can't help but think, their little spirits chose you and your family to come and live with.. and I think that is really special and sweet!
I'm a person that believes that ALL Things no matter how small happen for a reason. We can't control what other people choose to do, but we can control what we do!
So know that I love all you ladies, I've been here almost a solid year, and it's been one heck of an experience. By the time that year mark comes I will have completed my own family. But don't think this is goodbye..I can't find myself leaving, something just keeps bringing me back here. YOU! The wonderful, supportive, amazing, caring, ladies of GD! Please don't ever give up on your dreams, if you are meant to have them..and work for them.. they will come!

Merry Christmas to all!! I hope the holidays was a wonderful experience this year for all !
Butterfly--we are almost there! It is 1:10AM & I am in so much pain and discomfort. I am not ready but apparently my baby and my body is because I have been experiencing what I think is early labor(cramps, back ache, person every 5 minutes literately! TMI but going #2 & feeling vaginal pressure as I go & the baby even was too still for me but I drank soda and ate chocolate & it was a party in here lol but hopefully January will be time because I can't take it due to my scoliosis & that is why I also choose au natural! As well as documentaries & good advice most regret epidural because its less of a connection to their baby so being that I was going thru gender disappointment I want to feel close to my baby

I hope you had a very ~*Merry Christmas*~ Babyy Love, my friend!
It could be the extra stress and excitement of the holiday that made your body go into that. Now that things have calmed down, how are you doing? I know that I am extremely uncomfortable doing anything.. sitting on the floor..bending down, laying down is the WORST! If I didn't have my body pillow from Costco, on our too firm of a bed I don't know what I would do. Her movement has calmed down a ton so I know she is just a growing in there! I've got to get into an appt before the end of Jan sometime LOL I haven't been since Oct! Been too dang busy!
Make sure you do look up the signs of early labor signs.. pink discharge, blood, losing a huge hunk of your mucus plug with blood, regular contractions more than a certain number an hour is what you want to watch for.. when they get 5 mins apart it will probably be time! But hopefully you can keep him cooking until at least 37 weeks, because then he will be full term and won't have to stay in the NICU. Do what you have to do. Do that STRICT bedrest, it will be worth it! I know it's uncomfortable but you can do it, just a little bit longer! :HH: keep me updated Luv!
