I know it is confusing, but believe it or not Atomic has an essay out there for almost every question you can ask!

Thanks Anchor. I've just read this but it seems to be for girl sway. Is there one for a boy sway do you know?

When we conceived our girls, we DTD most days during the month of attempt. We got pregnant the first month of trying each time.

So when we did our first attempt last week, we waited for our positive OPK then did an attempt that evening, tried in the morning (but got interrupted by our girls!) and then another attempt the next evening. I am really happy with our timing as it is the opposite to what we did with the girls. Now, just I just have my fingers crossed for a BFP in a couple of weeks!

See when I conceived DD2, we DTD after +OPK. With DD3 we DTD within the same window given the strong O pains I had the day after. I feel like I have conceived at least 2 of my 3 girls within that 24 hour window.... My first daughter was a honeymoon conception so lots of BD'ing. Is there any studies, etc...that support timing at all out there?

Not really, the whole Shettles theory is all but dead, here is an essay on how timing DOESN'T sway...

I Dtd all through with my girls.... But I was always on a quest to loose weight.... That's my difference on this attempt. I've put on a few kgs with eating good food and doing weights. Although I'm done with putting on weight so I hope that on 2 weeks I get a bfp.

It's hard to find the most current information on here. Thanks Cinss and Dloui.
The reason I thought to try the other way was because I only get a positive OPK for half a day and last months chart shows temp spike on day of OPK. That means I am only going to get in 1 attempt on O day.
Also, I thought sperm take a day or two to replenish. So without starting a minimum of 3 days before, I can't see how 3 attempts in even a 24 hour period is going to generate more sperm. I'm back to being confused again...

Its totally fine if you want to try O-4, O-2 and O :) Yes it is true it does take a day or 2 for the sperm to replenish fully, that is why we were all over this timing method, we thought get a whole load up there then 2 days later another whole load, and then on O day another one. But we dont know if half or 3/4 or 97% of the sperm from the O-4 day survive inside, and according to Shettles that is how you get a girl (but dont worry about that Shettles was wrong) So now with the new timing method the thought is get a whole load up there waiting, then a not so full load but its still enough to make it more iykwim, and then another smaller load just like the icing on the cake.

I also got my temp rise the day after my +opk so i understand what you mean, you cant really wait for the +, so in your case you should try to predict O day and get the 3 attempts in the day before. I think the most important thing to remember is that you are aiming for a BFP, the diet and supps and exercise are what will sway for you, but in order for your sway to work you need to get pregnant, so DTD however you want really just dont do frequent release for more than 7 days in a row (which is what the girl swayers do) You may think Why on earth would i do that... well it has happened before where one lady was trying to DTD for the 3 days leading up to O, and she didnt O when she thought she would and got very close to doing FR for 7 days, she didnt get pg then and is currently on a break from ttc atm, but just a heads up, strange things can happen :)

November 26th, 2012, 05:39 PM
That's a really good explanation cinns.. Something strange happened with me I'm not sure if its possible AF started on 15 November and I've been taken opks the clearblue ones and today is my cycle day 12 I believe (is cycle day 1 classed as the day you come on your period??) I got a smiley today already .. And I have been getting quite alot period cramping all afternoon and still some now and slight pain from left ovary side.. I also had a very small amount of EWCM but not alot and when I was asleep and this morning i was extremely hot I don't know if that was my temp rising, I don't take my temp with the basal thermometer though just something I had noticed .. It's my first time tracking ovulation, so that's why I'm quite confused but I missed a day or 2 where I Didn't take a O test I'm not sure if that was false reading but I'm getting all the ovulation symptoms if that's what you wana call them lol

Cinss

afy yes CD1 is the day you start your period. I would suggest you enter all your data on the Fertility Friend website while you are practicing getting to know your cycles, and get a thermometer, they are not expensive and such a great ttc tool. I know FF looks a bit daunting at first but its easy to use once you get to know it, and then if something comes up that you are not sure about, we can take a look if you link us. And it is really priceless to be able to go back and look at previous cycles.

afy
November 26th, 2012, 06:32 PM
Thank you yes I tried to chart it on FF but it was asking me fr my temp etc I didn't have that Info so I left it lol. Yes I did invest in one but never got round to chartin my temp down! I will get back on to that.. That's why I'm purposely waiting to TTC as I'm not familiar with my cycle so need to familiarize my self.. Although I know my cervix has slightly opened up than before! So I'm pretty sure Iam ovulating .. Do we need to have our temp result to chart all the info on FF?

Cinss
November 26th, 2012, 06:55 PM
afy, no you can enter as much or as little info as you want on there, you dont need temps, but it is the only thing that actually let you know O has happened. Even just putting in CM, CP, OPK can give you a good picture of your cycle :)

afy
November 26th, 2012, 08:00 PM
Ohhh right so how do you tell with the thermometer that O has already taken place does it need to show a certain number??
Ill try filling in the info without my temp tonight and see what it shows me! Would you be able to take a look at it please?

Well you have a dramatic rise in temp after you have ovulated, so on the chart it is a huge jump up. There are tutorials on FF and you can look through other peoples charts to get a gist of what happens, its really great, and of course we would love to take a peek, you just share it by copying the BBcode like this

I definitely will try putting my info in you guys can have a peak so with the opks they just tell you when O may take place but don't tell us when it has stopped? For eg. We could still be ovulating but put opks may not show this??

Cinss
November 26th, 2012, 08:40 PM
Thats right OPKs just let you know ovulation is about to happen, and then the temps let you know its over

Ok so I only got one smiley face yesterday at 1230 and have tested negative since. Today negative too. I had cramping yesterday and this morning. I can't tell what my cm is doing as there's so much semen mixed in... So my question is, we Dtd last night, then this morning...do we do one more tonight?

I have just been reading through the "how we got our boys" thread and besides the diet (which is an overwhelming factor) the thing that jumps out at me the most is the frequency in DTD.
With DD1 we were on our honeymoon so DTD lots but had dieted and done cardio everyday for months to look good.
With DD2 and DD3 it was a one off.
So I was thinking if I wanted to have a few BD's before our attempt (approx 9 days to g-O, ha ha) do you think it would help or hinder us to maybe BD 0-7, 0-4 and then have the 2 or 3 attempts when the OPK+ comes up? Isn't it meant to raise your PH to have frequent BD and also, this means hubby gets to release every 3 days. Just a theory and I apologise for completely overanalyzing this issue.

Just venting a little...

So I'm still not 100% sure that I ovulated at all, but I guess it's to be expected that this cycle would be a little wonky after my m/c. We only ended up having 2 attempts in the window, as hubby picked up a bug and we had DHs childhood bestie staying with us for a week.

Our first attempt freaked my out...when I realized too late he hadn't released in like 2 weeks so I probably got a batch of old guys in there. Second attempt was ho hum...I don't think there were a whole lot of swimmers (TMI alert...usually he has a big batch :o).

So like I said, O symptoms were all over the place (I don't do OPKs, have had exactly one + in about 200 tests!) and I use the microscope. So IF I did O then my best guess is it was around CD 10, which is a day before our first attempt and a day after our second. Now I'm stressing out, because I'm getting the cramping, boobs a little sore, you know all those symptoms that could be pregnancy symptoms but also just as easily could be AF symptoms. I'm a terrible 2ww-er...I can't even look at OTHER ladies HPTs, lol.

So I'm just going to hang out here. I have no intention of POAS for at least another week, if necessary. I'm on CD 21 (my cycles were 24 - 26 days before my m/c). I am probably out for this month, but there is a very faint glimmer of hope.

afy the dot line thing are the temps, its all good you entered a couple of things on there, you will get more used to it, and find other things to add in as you go, like CM, CP, intercourse, opks, symptoms :)

Also the 1st +opk (smiley) you get is the important one, after you see that one you will O 12 - 36 hours later, it doesnt matter how many +s you have after that.

Anchor & minimatron goodluck in the 2ww, hope you both come out the other end with your BFPs :)

SO
I THINK I'm 12 dpo, but like I've mentioned earlier, had a weird O (and still not convinced I O'd at all). But..cramping, what might be considered implantation spotting (today) and sore boobs. OF COURSE, mother nature has a clever way of making all the 2ww symptoms completely mirror AF. So I'm not getting my hopes up...too high. I'm still here with you ladies, can't really bring myself to POAS. I was thinking I'd wait 'til Sunday, but then, I dunno? Anyway, I've been stalking all of you... :)

If she's not here by Sunday I will def. test. I just can't handle the BFNs, I usually hold off until AF is due. Each time I've TTC'd in the past it's ended up a OHW...I've really only had one BFN in the past (and was a relief when I got it :)). Seems like I know SO many friends who have had chemicals lately, and I would just be devastated. So I will be holding my breath and testing on Sunday.

Thanks all for the support...I'll keep you posted!

Good luck. This was me on Monday. I was so nervous. It was also a bit of hard work for dh as he ended up only having 7 hours between first and second attempts. Also... I didn't really love the whole 3 attempts because tbh... There was lots of goo and it was kind of sloppy and after a while it was fairly on the nose for my liking!
I can see how we conceived our girls... I was always on a diet and as soon as we Dtd, I would run to the toilet for a wee to prevent uti's as I have been prone to them.

Sorry your Af arrived Anchor and adoptapom:sad:
Fingers crossed all the planets aline for you both in a fortnight.

Watching and waiting for you mini matron! Good luck.

Becca and Blueplease, just had my temp drop this morning and cm changed so expect to O tomorrow or the next day so just behind you both!!! Am a bit cross as we are meant to have a heat wave today. It's meant reach 39 degrees (102 farenheit) so am hoping it doesn't kill off too many of those handsome Y sperm.
I really need to conceive this month...I'm starting to look like arnie's sister....and I'm beginning to gag at the thought of drinking another glass of V8 with maca and savoury yeast flakes...uuurrrgggh!

Afy, charting is actually really interesting once you get going. You will see a clear pattern of pre ovulation and post ovulation and makes it really easy to monitor CM changes which are a big clue in understanding when you ovulate.
Just make sure you have your BBT next to your bed to pop in your mouth as soon as you wake up and take note from about CD9 what your CM is like each day.

luvalittleman - I can't believe you can stomach the flakes in the v8! I tried once and decided it wasn't for me. Now taking 8 yeast pills isn't all that great either! Those on top of the million other pills to take! I do drink the gelatin in grapefruit juice or OJ. ugh. Its also so hard for me to keep eating and watching my waistline grow! I'm ready to fast!

Sorry anchor and adoptapom for your AF. Christmas bfps!

My husband and I bd-ed last night and this am. I'm starting to feel the O cramps so I'm hoping that if the egg pops now, his little guys will be there waiting and if it doesn't pop til tomorrow am, bd-ing tomorrow night will catch it.

I'm going to *boldly* read your article now!

Luvalittleman... I'm in Brisbane to. How disgusting is this weather. Get dh to have a nice cold shower beforehand.

I'm 5dpo and kp looking back at my sway and picking it to pieces. could have donr this better. Should have done this etc!!

I have bn getting a funny sensation in my lower abdomen. Keep thinking is this implantation. I'm not sure as never felt a thing with girls or at least never realized.

I'm so over the eating.. Eased off a little last 2 days. With the heat I just physically couldn't stand it.. Gonna have a break again today and start again tomorrow. Figuring 3 days off is better than me feeling like I'm going to combust.

When is the earliest to test would you say.. 10 dpo or can you earlier with first response??

Need some advice please...
I have woken up feeling like I've been run over by a truck. Have some kind of virus - aching, lethargic, nauseous, threw up once. There's lots of gastro going around (had it for 24 hours about 2 weeks ago but managed to snack thru it and keep up liquids - it wasn't very bad). Am not eating normally by any means but still snacking carb/proteins in very small amounts every 2 hours and drinking lots of liquid. Feel bloody dreadful though and I am due to ovulate in 2 days (maybe 3 if this pushes it back).
My question is if this only lasts 24 hours again and I wake up feeling better tomorrow, do you think this will affect my sway in any way? Please be honest too, not just reassuring as I so want a little boy. Thanks

Luvalittleman.. I have no idea but I'm sure someone on here will know how best to advise you!!get well soon!!

I am also after some advice.. I'm 6 dpi and we did all out attempts. Waiting till next week to test. Last night it started and still have it, I have a dulling ache in my biking line area and back and seem to have ewcm. So much so was the ew last night along with the pains I really thought I was coming on my period or that I was ovulating. I did the opk last night and this morning but both were negative and I know you can't ovulate twice in a month 6 data apart. AF isn't due till the 16th at least.

I'm thinking maybe the pains could be implantation (here's hoping) but the ewcm.. Can anyone give me an explanation for that. No ew this morning but still quite gooey! (For choice of a better word)

luvalittleman, i dont think it would affect your sway, it is good that you are keeping up with the foods and liquids as much as you can. Hopefully it is just a 24 hour bug or something and you feel better before you have to attempt.

Blueplease 6dpo would make perfect sense for implantation, and the ewcm may be your body preparing to make the mucous plug :fx: other wise it may be normal for you but you are only aware of it now because of ttc.

I never had implant pain so i cant really say what it feels like but i have read others saying they definatly felt it, and just because you havent had it with 1 baby doesnt mean you cant have it with the next. If i was you i would just make note of everything you go through on your chart so you can look back if you are still trying next month and beyond.

So do your implantation psins feel like Af is coming. It's funny.. You think about the conception but nothing else leading up to it. Then implantation. Never even considered thinking about it bring sticky.. Have also had this wave of emotion today where even if it is a pinky I just want to be pregnant now. Luvalittleman.... I hope you're feeling OK soon
Blueplease..... I'm only 8dpo... but from 6dpo I've been having af type pains, which for me is lower back pain, mild cramping and my skin is all pimples. I have a whole heap of internet cheapies so have been using those. Today I decided to get the fr because I have been having shooting pain in my boobs and I'm as moody as anything.. I think that's why I've been having doubts about adding to my family.... so I did that test today, I think I held for 4 hours. Its a faint line where you actually have to tip it on the side to see but I could see it from around the 3 minute mark......

Morning all.
Minimatron that sounds very promising...can't wait to hear tomorrow!!! (Post a pic of the tester if you want to, we'd all love to see it).
Blueplease, implantation for me was always a dull ache in a specific spot for a day or two, but I also feel the egg releasing so am obviously quite sensitive to all the goings on down there. Never had any spotting though and I always double guessed myself as I thought this could be AF coming.
Am feeling a lot better this morning. Still the odd cramp but am up and around and eating normally so far. Have seen no EWCM, cervix is still closed, have felt no pangs in my ovaries and -OPK. I ovulated on CD12 last month (EWCM started CD9) and the month before so am trying not to be too upset but I don't think I am going to ovulate this month. I will keep testing though as it may just be late because I was sick yesterday...I really hope so.

Cinss, I went shopping for the girls christmas presents the other day and walked straight past the girls clothes and started tearing up looking at the baby boys things...jeez, what a dag.
Have a look at Trade Secret and Seed if you are near any...I've seen cute baby boys things in there lately. You're a lucky girl!!

I agree the 2WW sucks. I just worked out that i did the 2WW 10 times which is 20 weeks all up, and i found out the sex at 17 weeks, so it actually went quicker for me lol! I hope none of you girls have to wait that long for your BFPs, however i think it helped my sway being on the diet for soooooooooooo long.

Thanks I didn't expect it to happen so quickly, however I was around ig for ages. That site is so opposite of here.
I knew deep down it was positive because when in woke up to dd3 in the middle of the night I felt a bit queasy..... I've had a m/c before so I don't really let people know until around 12 weeks.
Who has 4 kids? How much more work is it? All these things are running through my head. It will work out whatever happens. I suppose we wouldn't have tried if we didn't think we'd manage.
OMG....

my tech gave me a guess at my 12 week scan (she said 70% boy) her equipment was really good and she had been doing it for so long that she had a great reputation for predicting so early, if you saw my 12 week pics they were super clear. Most places will do private gender scans at 15 weeks, but im pretty sure you have to pay for the privlidge and it just wasnt an option for us at the time because of bills n stuff. So i asked to be a voulenteer at the ultrasound school and the earliest they could fit me in was when i was 17 weeks, thats why i had to wait so long.

One thing I remember Atomic saying is that you really can't tell what side you O from by the pains you feel.. you could even feel pains on both sides.. before and after O and even the ovary that does not release the egg could hurt even more than the one that actually does!
Crazy huh? :)

Same thing happened to me afy, after about a month on the diet i would be starving for breakfast and it was the biggest meal of my day, totally not what i used to do, i used to only have a coffee in the morning and then not eat till about 12. Also it has been mentioned that we dont change back to our girly way of eating just because we get a bfp, because that may be dangerous if we have conceived a boy as they need more nutrients in the first few weeks to stick, so keep it regular and healthy.

But I don't wanna stop this diet I know (if I was to conceive a boy) would need to continue it but some things I would get rid of.. I'm aiming for more healthy things to eat and avoiding junk.. Lol somebody already told me I seem to look more round lol I didn't know if I was to be offended or pleased !! I got my attempts in (last one Tuesday night) and we just weren't really feeling the last one :( I'm hoping it was enough though. Cinss - I totally agree that we need to keep up the diet. I think Atomic recommended that we do so for at least the first 12 weeks and then to ensure that we continue with breakfast throughout pregnancy? Anyway, the reason why I am not eating as much as the three months prior is because I am sleeping 3-4 hours extra per day now so that is the equivalent of two snacks for me. But still, I am getting in 4-5 snacks per day and three full meals so I am happy with that.

Seems like an exciting month here!

Back to the land of the living...the gastro moved into stage 2 yesterday and I spent the second half of the day sitting on the toilet and hugging my cramping stomach...sigh.
Such fabulous timing getting gastro 2 days before I am meant to ovulate given my 7 weeks of strict preparations and diet....am not cross at all (read sarcasm).
Am hastily replenishing my potassium levels and rehydrating in the off chance I ovulate on the weekend although part of me hopes I don't as I know I will go for it...argghh. Am super frustrated.

WOWOW Congrats Cass! How are you feeling luv? Ovulating after your illness? It sucks to have a sway go not the way you were thinking! Speaking of ...

So something weird happened. We got our smiley last Sunday and dtd around then 3 times. Well I've been having increased CM and yesterday was cramping like O cramping. Too early for implantation, I thought maybe it was a bladder infection or something (only have had one before so wasn't sure) well on a whim, I did another OPK and it gave me another smiley! (I'd had no smileys after the initial one last Sunday). My husband was at a christmas party (drinking. great.) and I texted him to get home b/c I was ovulating. I'm happy I caught it but bummed that I wasnt ready for it and dh was drinking. I had been keeping up with the diet and supps but hadn't had gelatin or grapefruit juice (which I found really helped with my cm) since tuesday. :( Also, wth?! Faulty positive? two ovulations? what is going on?! Yesterday was CD17 which is when I ovulated last month. So it may be back to dpo1 for me (thought it would be dpo6 today). WEIRD!

Sonia2003
December 8th, 2012, 05:37 PM
Hi Becca,

I had a weird month too! I finally had our attempt on Monday when I had the CBEFM PEAK and then on Wed I had AF like bleeding. So PEAK on CD16 and then red flow on CD18 all the way until last night. So I don't know what that was about. Atomic thinks it might be from the Fertile CM messing with my cycle. I took it the last 3 months and ovulated on CD21, so I stopped this month so see if it was delaying my ovulation, which it was, and now my cycle is a bit messed up.

Anyways, what I am trying to say is that sometimes the sups we are taking can mess with our cycle a bit and that maybe what happened with you as well.

minimatron
December 8th, 2012, 05:57 PM
Maybe you ovulated twice this month?
You might end up with twins :-)

Cinss
December 8th, 2012, 06:24 PM
becca, that is weird, not sure whats going on there, i have learnt that the 1st +opk is the only one that counts, i think the only way to know for sure if you Od after the 1st or 2nd OPK is to monitor your temps, anyway dont worry about DH drinking, mine drinks every day after work, so we definatly had that in our sway and it worked out anyway.

becca
December 8th, 2012, 07:28 PM
I haven't changed my supps so I don't think that it. I'm nursing so it could be that. I had like 3 dreams I was pregnant with twins a couple months before we starting trying, so that freaks me out! :worry: who knows! I was reading some articles about double ovulation and apparently up to 30% of women can ovulate 2x a month. If you all take the clearblue easy opks, do you notice if the stick has one or two lines when you pull it out? I don't think you're supposed to pay attention to them but the first one only had one line, the second smiley 6 days later, had two dark lines.

Glad the drinking isn't too big of a deal cinss! It was hard enough getting him to take the supps!

WEIRD!

That's too weird Becca!!
Could be that you've stimulated those ovaries with all your good eating and sups and popped out two eggs...?
Your sig doesn't say if you have any other children - how would you feel about twins?
I would have a heart attack as I already have 3 and that was meant to be my last. I always wanted 3 so 4 is moving out of my comfort zone....:nails:

I bounced back really quickly from the gastro. Only had the trots for half a day and was able to eat well the next day. Added a beef broth I'd made to everything for two days and quickly replaced lost potassium and sodium by doing BSD and COT drinks a few times a day and lots of bananas and coconut water.
Felt great yesterday and had friends over. Made lots of yummy healthy food and pigged out. Had a BD with hubby as a just in case but ruled out O as it should have been here Thurs/Friday. Was out doing Santa photos with the girls today and "ping" felt the familiar twang in my ovaries (strangely both sides rather than one side ----ARGHHHH).
Anyway, I had a disgusting smoothie of v8, raw silver beet, savoury yeast flakes and gelatine and about 2 hours later we did another BD so I guess I am possibly in for this month...maybe...

I considered sitting this one out but my prep has been excellent for the last 2 months and I figure even the most perfect sways fail so was happy to go for it.

Blue please....how are you going? Are you testing soon?
How's everyone else going? Today I'm officially due for af. We she definitely ain't coming:-) I can't believe that I tested so early. I'm a little nervous as I've had one end in a m/c, although I had no symptoms by 6-7 weeks. I now have crazy diarrhea, everything tastes revolting and all I want to do is sleep. Actually come after lunch I can barely keep awake..its pretty hard with little kids lol. I'm coming to terms with the idea of having 4. I think I freaked out a little last week after the girls fighting and pushing boundaries and my buttons :-) well.... I picked out a name for a girl already.... actually I have had this name for ages! Funnily enough, I have no boys names despite swaying for one:-)
Ah... the start of a new week.... last full week of kinder for my big girl, last full week of occasional care for my other two....then I'll have 6 weeks with them home for summer holidays.
I'll be lurking...... good luck blue, fingers crossed x

Sorry for confusing you minimatron (baby brain already or still from my girls?!).

We have two potential boys names chosen from our last pregnancy which I don't think will change. We always struggle with girls names, so here's hoping that we don't have to use one again!

My fingers are crossed for blueplease!

I really feel as if AF is on the way with the stomach cramps, backache. I never usually get sore boobs with my AF but have now. Not sure what to think. It's funny if it wasnt Xmas id be fine first month trying lets just keep going but with Xmas here it just makes you want it more. I have a feeling now this isn't by month but hey upwards and onwards. Hope everyone is feeling well!!

Blueplease ive still got my fingers crossed for you, it is really not that common to see bfp before 14dpo, i envy the ladies that get them so early. Also if you are out this month try to see it as a positive because you will be on the diet for another whole month (i know that may sound daunting and blah) but it is really GOOD for your sway :)

Thxs cinss.. Yes another month/ few months will be good for my sway although the thought of it is horrible. Continuing to eat as I have bn. It said on google also that most pregnancy would have a false negative at 10dpo so we will see. AF def feels as if its on the way but aympotms sooner than normal. Time will tell. I will test again on thurs/ fri!!

Cinss, I still struggle a little with the protein bit at times and tend to eat the same thing.
Can I ask, were you eating two eggs a day and what protein shake were you having?

Cinss, I still struggle a little with the protein bit at times and tend to eat the same thing.
Can I ask, were you eating two eggs a day and what protein shake were you having?

For brekky i was having a smoothie with Oats, fruit, yogurt, protein powder and water in it.
Then my morning snack was almonds + green apple.
For lunch i would have 2 eggs (all different ways) scrambled on crackers or an omlette or boiled with salad. (if i didnt feel like eggs i would have chicken or tuna instead)
Afternoon snack was yogurt with protein powder mixed in (yummy)
Dinner was lean red meat with veggies.
After dinner was green tea and occasionally dark chocolate.

The protein powder i was using is called - BNRG Proto Whey double chocolate PROTO WHEY , BNRG (BIONUTRITIONAL RESEARCH GROUP), PROTEIN POWDERS, BNRG (BIONUTRITIONAL RESEARCH GROUP), BNRG (BIONUTRITIONAL RESEARCH GROUP) PROTO WHEY (http://www.australiansportsnutrition.com.au/shop/products/2175.php)

So did anyone else have exact AF symptoms at 10 dpo and get a Bfp. Terrible cramping on side exactly like I do every month. Also in lower abdomen- bikini line.

Boobs really sore which very very rarely get and little a little "queasy". Also tired but there both probably down to the heat over last few days.

Feels exactly like AF psins- exactly :-( did anyone else get this.

Will text 14dpo but just curious? Thsnks

Blue please and mini matron hope you get your little surprises sooner than you want and if not like cinns said more time on your sway I know it's eurrgh but it can really make all the difference.! Gosh it reminds me I got another 4-5months to go!!

Cinns I love your diet for your sway its something you can est regardless .. 'Im slowly trying to lose the bready carbs now (always been a bread girl) even though I'm mostly sticking to whole wheat I just have no meal suggestions without bread lol anybody got any ideas?? My breakfast is also like yours cinns I have cereal of oats mostly and then a smoothie with fruits banana, full fat yoghurt, raw eggs and mid morning snack is 1/4cup almonds with 3-4 dates..but slacking on my meat intake!

So me and DH had a discussion and he's fine with us TTC round about the time when DD turns 2. It's not entirely just swaying for a boy but just to be pregnant again and fr her to have a lil friend .. Boy would be the icing.

It sux how AF symptoms are just like preggy symptoms. Some months i was sure i would get a bfp but nope back to cd1. And the month i actually did get my bfp i didnt see it coming, no symptoms at all, or maybe i just stopped looking for them after 9 bfns i was over it haha.

afy you still need carbs so things like sweet potato and brown rice can be used in place of bread? But bread is fine on the HE diet too, multigrain would be the best choice.

Hi girls. Good luck blue please. It's the worst waiting for the days to pass obsessing over symptoms.

I'm currently at 8dpo or 3 dpo due to my confusing two +opk this month. I took a test this am after I fed the lo at 5am. Bfn. I know it's too early! My milk supply is so low (she's a year in a week so I'm considering weaning), nauseated, crampy, sensitive nipples, so hunngry and tired! Oh vivid dreams plus dreamt I saw a positive test!

With my weird month, I'm expecting not to be pregnant.

Oh luv, I thought about twins if I really did o twice! I have 2 little girls, 2 1/2 and 1. Twins boys would be awesome (and scary)! Keep us updated on your o!

Crap. So, I've been swaying for a little over two months. Even doing diet coke rehab! I used to drink a minimum of 5 a day, and I have had 4 total in10 weeks. I've been eating basically only meat, veggies, fruits and nuts. I am taking a small country's worth of vitamins and drinking lemon water like my life depends on it. I've been religiously temping and taking opks 500 times a day. Had my preseed ready to start inserting tomorrow to get in all the cervical nooks and crannies. Noticed some ewcm last night- I was stoked since it was MIA last month. Had a smudge this morning when I temped and took my opks (yes plural, I'm doing digital and dip sticks because I have LOST my mind.) Tests were negative.

Went back to bed a for a bit, DH woke me up for um, we'll just say he is a morning person. :hug2:

Every single time we've had sex since the mc he asks if it's ok to release inside me. He is fully aware what the plan is and that I am pretty much an amateur ob/gyn at this point of crazy lady Internet research. Seriously- he asks every time and it is 99% no, I give him the green light either late in the cycle or super early. Wednesday is supposed to be O according to FF.

This morning he just went for it. My :mad:response was met with: "but it's my birthday!"

:holysheep:

Am I literally and metaphorically screwed? I'm so mad I didn't even get to use the preseed at least! And to be extra sure I ruined all my hard work I scurried away to jump&dump. I am an idiot. Is there any hope? Should I just go ahead with my originally scheduled programming??? Or wave my sad flag of defeat???

YOU ARE FINE (hysterical post BTW). Not sure what CD you're on...but you are fine to let him "enjoy his b-day" every 2 - 4 days for swaying blue. Then, when you get your +OPK, DTD 3 times in 24 hours.

luvalittleman
December 10th, 2012, 02:46 PM
Pom you do make me laugh (and I love your ability to laugh at yourself while you are stressing yourself out).
Take a deep breath...you've just raised the alkalinity in there which is good and there's no egg in there yet so you can't get pregnant at this stage.
In my humble opinion, if you are due to O tomorrow or the next day then the timing is good. I usually see EWCM 2-3 days before I get my +OPK so keep testing morning and night and then get a couple of attempts in when you see it.

CD 9, cycles have been getting about a day shorter each time, so right now it's about 25 or 26 days. Last month I started opks on cd12 and never got a +, ff put me as o'ing that day. So, this month I started testing on cd6.

Not that I want him to be sad on his birthday, but I'm horrified that everything I've been working on would be out the window!

Thanks for making me feel better!!! I am miffed about no preseed, but I guess there's no way to go back. So I'll just start creepily inoculating myself with it.

It's fine to have lots of swimmers in there when you're swaying blue, the stuff may even help make the environment more alkaline. If anything, I'd say you gave your sway a little boost :)

I haven't had a great day today. I started bleeding this morning (bright red) and have had old/brownish blood during the day and it has just started bright red again :worry: I went to the doctors (had made the appointment yesterday) and of course there is nothing they can do. But my doctor was so lovely and offered me a scan on the spot! I declined given we probably wouldn't see anything which would just make me worry more. I have a scan booked for next Wednesday though when I will be nearly six weeks. In the meantime, I have had blood tests taken and will get my hcg monitored.

I really hope that I am worry about nothing.... man this is hard!

Well, I have had three days elevated temps so FF says I did O on the weekend...I guess I am in the 2ww with you girls.
I am kind of hoping I don't fall pregnant this month as I am concerned now the Gastro may have swayed girl. Argghhh!!
I have fallen pregnant 4 times the first time I tried (lost one early between DD1 and DD2) but am a couple years older now... we shall have to wait and see.
I guess my thoughts at the time of going for it were that 8 hours of diarrhoea surely couldn't undo 2 months of a great diet sway...now I'm not sure.
