I am like a hairy ape this pregnancy. It is everywhere! Lol it's even growing on my belly! It must be a boy

Hair growth definitely equals boys!!! I had the hairiest neck and stomach with both my little men! Sounds disgusting but thankfully it was that white downy hair so it was only me and dh who really noticed!

I haven't noticed it yet (only 8wks) fingers crossed no excess hair means PINK!

Blue dust to all that need it!! ;-)

This other lady just posted and told me that with all three of her pregnancies, girl girl boy, her hair growth was the exact same. And after consulting Dr. Google some more, I found similar stories of women who did not at all fit the OWT for hair growth, many of them had slower hair growth with the boys! So its not over for me yet! There's a reason they are called OWT and I need to keep reminding myself of that instead of obsessing over every sign and every symptom lol. With DD, for example, my skin looked fabulous which according to OWT= boy. Well, she is 100% girl! Now though, my skin is breaking out like crazy. But my " boy" symptoms so for this pregnancy according to OWT= very little morning sickness ( daily vomiting with DD and lots of nausea), big appetite ( no appetite with DD), craving sour and salty and aversion to sweet ( no cravings or aversions with DD). I think in the end, it just has to do with how our bodies respond to the pregnancy hormones. Anyways...just trying to reason with myself here lol and keeping my FX for a little :xy:

I completely agree! I've been pregnant with FOUR boys and I was never hairy. It's all to do with your estrogen levels and how your body maintains hair for longer so you appear more hairy. It can sometimes make it grow faster, sometimes slower depends on the individual. Every pregnancy is different. I hold as much stock into hair growth equaling a certain gender as I do morning sickness or the position of the bump. It's different for everyone.

You are still in with a great shot at a boy hun xx

Having had two boys and two very different pregnancies I don't give any weight to OWT. This pregnancy I've had the least amount of morning sickness which would put me in boy territory but my skin is horrendous which would put me in girl territory... Guess its 50/50 on the symptoms. :-)

I had the second least amount of morning sickness with my girl. With three of my boys I was quite sick, then with DS 2 and DD I was hardly sick at all. The symptoms don't mean anything, if there is anything to it you can't tell until after you've had all your kids and looking back on it anyway.

I had Hyperemesis with one of my boys. And two of them absolutely no morning sickness whatsoever. I've had pregnancies where my nails and hair look fantastic and some where I look like a train wreck. All resulting in the same gender.

I do not believe in OWT at all. My last 2 pregnancies with completely different and both were boys. I have recently read that there may be a link between Hcg levels and gender (higher level=girl; lower=boy). Has anyone else heard of this?

Welcome Grace!

Today was my first appt and it was so good to go in and get a scan and see our little "nugget" have a strong heartbeat! I was checked for the reason for the spotting and they found a "polyp" again like I had with my DS2! At least we know its not hurting the baby! :-) When I was in the scan I asked the tech if she knew about the Ramzi theory and she answered me with a questionable no but I didn't push the issue. She said you can do the baking soda test with your first morning urine and a teaspoon of baking soda. If it fizzes its a girl if it doesn't its a boy. She was excited to tell me about it but I haven't ever heard of this baking soda test. Anyone else?

Anyhow I feel so much better seeing our little nugget doing so well! Hope everyone else is feeling good as well! Nausea is still pretty strong but other than that I can't complain!

Today was my prenatal visit....no heartbeat with doppler, I will be going again in 2 weeks and hope to have a strong, easy to find heartbeat.

Ladybugs-When are you due again? I know my always says to not worry if they can't find the heartbeat on Doppler. Sometimes you really have to be in the 2nd trimester to really get a good Doppler. Glad your appt went well!

Welcome to all the new arrivals......hopefully we all have the stickies beans on board!!

Ladybugs-I see your ticker now! Sorry baby brain over here! You sound like me I always want the Doppler to work when they use it and I hold my breath every time. But I think in the 12th week it's way to early to hear easily with a Doppler. Two weeks is a long time but the silver lining is by then she will really have a strong heartbeat!!! :-)

Positivity is the only way to go or else I would worry myself to death! Our next appt is in 4 weeks! They usually try the Doppler but then he always gives the statement before that there's no need to worry if we don't hear anything. If he doesn't he checks my cervix and if I ask enough questions and worry he sends me in for a scan bc he has one right there in his office. I'm trying to not tell we are expecting until Father's Day. I want to do the picture of use standing there and it will have a plus sign between us with an =5. I will wrap it up and give it to my dad and that's how we hope to reveal it! I am trying to stay away from my parents for the next two weeks! Otherwise I feel like my mom will totally guess. But I really want to give my dad the gift on Father's Day! I think he will really think that's neat. Here's to hoping my plan works!

You can cross off another day until your two week scan! Everyday it's getting closer!

Soar that's a great idea to tell your dad and family.

Ladybugs the Doppler is very touch and go at 12 weeks as you know. With one of my pregnancies my placenta was anterior and it stopped me hearing a HB on the Doppler until I was about 17 weeks!!! Do you know where your placenta is? Possibly yours could be anterior too. I hope the time goes fast for you! I hope the time goes fast for all of us! :)

Ladybug - If the doctors are anything like mine, she tries for maybe 5-10 seconds max to find it then gives up. With my last two pregnancies I rented a doppler and after a good 5 minutes working it myself I found both boys heartbeats around 11 weeks. When I went in to the doctor both times at 12 weeks she didn't find it.. even though I had just before going to the appt. This time I'm 12weeks and haven't had an ultrasound or heard a heartbeat or anything (haven't rented a doppler). I *think* i've felt the odd bit of movement, but it's hard to know. My symptoms have really left too.. which is very weird for me..especially the nausea as it was DEADLY for both my boys up until at least 20 weeks. I've had moments where I'm worried there won't be a heartbeat but for some reason I just have a peace about everything so I'm not stressing out. Anyways.. sorry for the ramble.. all this to say that I'm sure if they had of tried for a lot longer they would have found something! I'm quite sure in your case everything is totally fine, but it's definitely hard not to worry.. as we all know!

MSBlakely and 3boys.....I am hoping, wishing and praying that the heartbeat is so strong at 14w3d it blows our socks off!!! I feel that I am to be at peace about it all, but the next 2 weeks are going to be an eternity!!! Maybe my pal will have her baby (unknown gender!!) tomorrow and that will take my mind off of me!! She has 2 boys, then a girl, so I want another girl for her to reuse those cute clothes and have a pal in her sister!!

My m/s is going away too....it feels so much better to not want to eat all around the clock or puke/dry heave!!

The u/s tech said that the placenta appears to be posterior, my DS#2 was the proud owner of the biggest cushion in utero though!!!

Ladybugs you're right, it's going to be so strong at 14wks it will blast your eardrums :) so exciting that your friend is about to pop. I admire people who have delivery room surprises :) I would love to be patient enough to wait until nine months. Glad the MS has eased off.... Such a wonderful feeling! I remember. So strange I've had none this pregnancy!!!!

Msblakey when is your due date again? I know I've probably asked a million times but my pregnancy brain is unable to retain information . How are you feeling?

AFM I can now feel my uterus above my pubic bone now :D I still haven't attempted to try with the Doppler as at 10 weeks I probably won't find it. No MS (as I've said crazy after I had Hyperemesis last time) and really my symptoms are so minimal it is easy to forget I'm pregnant.

I'm 12 weeks tomorrow (according to ovulation which I was temping) which gives me a due date of December 15th. I've been feeling really good the last few weeks, just really tired. For both DS's I've had totally debilitating MS. Luckily in Canada we have an approved drug from MS that has helped me all 3 times... If I didn't have that I'd for sure be in the hospital on IV the entire 1st trimester. I'm so shocked as I've missed several pills and been totally fine, which I've never had morning sickness go before 20 weeks! I haven't been able to figure out the whole signature ticker thing yet so once I take some time to figure that all out it will finally show my stats!

My deal is that they would have to be nice....if I just tell them on day of big u/s...it will be an oh well, three boys that is fine...too bad you don't have a girl in there...

and that is why I don't want to share gender until birth, but my DH wants to let it be public way earlier than I want too. We have compromised and will find out at the 20 week mark and have a party and reveal around 30 weeks, so that I only have 8-10 weeks of pregnancy hormones and then would have a baby to show off and cuddle after that!!

June 2nd, 2013, 02:53 PM
Ladybugs you would not believe!! My mum had two sons after me so was desperate for a grand daughter from day one. She came with me to my scan for DS1 and cried when they said he was a boy! Every pregnancy after that she has been very deflated about. No excitement just oh well! Better luck next time. She has convinced my whole family and friends that I medically can't have a girl. I don't have a bad relationship with my mum, but she sometimes doesn't realise how what she says can be hurtful. Actually I must admit since the last two losses she does seem a little less worried about the gender... But has now convinced herself and my family I can no longer carry children full stop (let alone girls). She has some funny views lol.

Once I find out gender I have to tell everyone, I couldn't keep it until birth. Purely on the bases I hate people telling me... "This could be your girl" when I know its not. It hurts me more than the commiserations. Obviously this would be completely different if I was in fact pregnant with a daughter and in which case I could keep it a secret for longer and smirk to myself when anyone said "bet its another boy". Lol

I hope that you are baking a pink one in there just to do the smirking!!!! My DS1 was the first grandson, but to my dad, he was not as important as the grandson that my brother had 7.5 months later. When I was preggo with DS2, my sister (who has 2 girls) kept on saying "your second boy" all throughout the prenancy. My SIL does rub it in that they have their "princess"....a term I do despise!

What I have realized that I control is my response to them....and right now I choose to have joy in my boys, two or three.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who had these issues with family and friends. Practically all my friends and family has girls and I feel like its this "club" that I'm not allowed to be a part of. My SIL actually told me right before I found out that I was pregnant that "if" I had a another child it would be another boy b/c she can't see us having a girl. Some people don't think before they speak. I was secretly mad at her for a while. I hope we all get the gender we desire and we can have a good laugh at the people who are being so negative!

I don't understand why People are so insensitive?? You wouldn't go up to a lady in a wheelchair and say... Poor you for having no use of your legs. I have use of my legs and I am so lucky! The reason I have use of my legs is because I did such and such exercise on such and such days... You should try it. You obviously did it wrong! I mean this would be considered appalling prejudice behaviour, yet its ok for someone to say the exact same things about someone's family make up.

I fully agree with this, it's ridiculous! I've had so many comments its just ridiculous. Just the other day one of my DH's friends said it him "aw, girls are just so much cuter than boys.. you seriously need to have a girl, you'd just die at the father daughter relationship.. they are just so amazing" DH was so mad, he's actually more upset about not having a girl than I probably am. I don't get it why people think you need their opinion on your family. Everyone keeps saying to us "so you're hoping for a girl next, right?" DH actually said the other day "nope we want two boys" because he got so annoyed with it. It makes it seem like your boys are unimportant when everyone can only fixate on the fact that you don't have a girl.

Is anyone else's pregnancy completely different so far to their previous ones? With my DS I was so sick with stacks of headaches and nausea. This time I have no nausea, no headaches, but I'm just exhausted and my eczema is driving me nuts. I know the same gender can have two totally different pregnancies but I'm hoping it's a sign!

Lastlong, this pregnancy has been very different from my last two pregnancies (esp the last) but not too dissimilar to my first two. So what I take from that is.....??? I haven't got a clue. I feel in my heart I am carrying another boy. We shall see. At the moment my biggest concern is that he/she is ok and has a nice strong HB.

Great that you're not feeling sick with headaches!! Regardless of gender that is a super bonus. :) when will you be finding out gender?

Msblakley-I can't believe that! What a stupid comment! The day I found out my second child was a boy my neighbor (who has 2 young children, 1 of each) told me how boys aren't going to take care of you when your older, only girls will and how wonderful it is to have a girl. I just replied "there are a lot of girls out there that I would NOT want as my daughter so you really shouldn't assume that".

On a lighter note I had my first ultrasound today and everything looked perfect:) Baby measured 6.2 weeks which is what I was thinking and we got to see the heartbeat:) Now if I was any good at the Ramzi method I may have a heads up as to what this LO is lol!

January 26th (but the radiologist still has to look at the measurements to confirm). I had a transvaginal ultrasound and when it first popped up on the screen it was def on the left but then she moved the wand around a bit and then it was in the middle so idk. I asked where my placenta was and she just said it didn't develop until about 12-14 weeks. I have a pic with the yolk sac and a little blob attached to it which is the baby. On yeah I've asked you that before smiley, forgive my pregnancy Bain it has turned to mush. You are due on my birthday  mine appeared to be in the middle for most of the shots. I had an abdominal ultrasound and had such a full bladder it was actually making the sac a funny shape and the tech kept having to manuver the wand around it to get a better shot at the baby.

Hi everyone! I have been reading your comments on people's comments about gender and couldn't agree more! People make the most absurd comments about gender. I find it very tacky but always answer with grace. But my inside voice isn't as polite. I told our neighbor who I am having take our reveal pictures that I was expecting our 3rd. Her first comment was oh poor DS2 he will always be the middle child. How sad, I was the middle child too. Ugh....then she followed it up with well I'm assuming you want the girl this time? I almost lost my mind but I didn't. I know she wasn't trying to be tacky but.... Well....she was! If she wasn't a fantastic photographer I would have told her never mind but here I am using her talents so I will suck it up!

Still feeling sick but Zophran is allowing me to function so that's good. My poor DH is so over me feeling like this. I am still spotting and Dr Orders is no DTD until spotting has stopped for 48 hours! We are on week 4 of spotting! Yikes! I may need to let him buy a power tool of some kind as a consolation prize! Anybody else feeling terrible still? Misery sure loves company!

Soar... Lol about the power tool! Because I'm high risk, I haven't had sex since my BFP! Poor DH. I do feel sorry for Him. He knew that would be the case though when we started trying again so he was for warned. Sorry you too have to deal with the insensitive comments!

Oh but the feeling tired part is horrid too!! Yeah fingers crossed re nub and baby being a little girl... It is quite early still though so I'm a little nervous.

Also reminded of how health is the most important thing as nt screen came back high risk for downs - based on bloods along. But my bloods have been a bit strange in my previous pregnancies so hoping its just me and everything is fine. It's pretty hard not to worry though... Sigh!

Fingers and toes crossed for a very healthy little girl/boy!!!

Trust me the health bit is at the forefront of my mind too. After two loses my biggest concern is that I will lose this baby or there will be something wrong again. My DS3 had malrotation of the bowel (this happenes in the womb at 12 weeks) and he came very close to death as a newborn. Are you doing any more tests for downs?

I don't think I will no, I will do the extra scans but that's it I think. It's a worry. But I nearly didn't do the bloods and if I hadn't I would have been very happy with the scan.

How scary what happened with your ds3! Scares like that really change your perspective on pregnancy I think!!

Wow, 3boys.. that's so scary! It's horrible to have to go through something like that. My DS2 had a big jump in head growth at 6 months. They were worried about a possible brain timor and he had to have an MRI and the week and a half wait for that, plus a few days wait for results probably took 10 years off my life. Everything came back fully normal, just a big head like his dad but that experience detroyed me for this pregnancy! I just can't stop worry about the what if's!

Tree- you are so strong to be so calm about your results. I'm sure everything is fine, but a positive NT screen was the exact reason why I declined the 12 weeks ultrasound. I actually wasn't sleeping for an entire week leading up to the ultrasound at the thought of potentially getting a positive screen. I know so many people who have had false positives and I am SUCH a worrier that having a positive would kill me so I cancelled it. They are almost ALWAYS false, and it causes worry for nothing but I will be thinking of you and little babe - I'm sure everything is perfectly fine!! And fingers crossed for a little girl!!!

Lol you are sooo funny. The next time another mum says something like ooh I bet you want a girl this time I am going to say "hmmm not sure, girls can be so nosey don't you think?"

I am feeling sick as a dog. Hoping it will end soon

What are your ladies thoughts on the heartbeat OWT? <140 = boy, >140=girl? I think both my boys were always in the 140's , but I also know of people who's boys were initially in the 170's. I just heard the HB this am and although they didn't give me a number I felt it sounded similar to both my sons so naturally I'm guessing boy.. but I'm also no expert at guessing HB number by how it sounds and I'm sure boys and girls sound the same on a doppler lol! My DS4 had a HB high in the 170's until he passed away and he was confirmed boy. I don't hold much stock in it personally. I also think that DS1 had a high HB as the midwife said going by the old wives tale he should have been a girl (can't remember what the number was though).

Don't let it worry you.... At least you haven't turned into a hairy monkey like me! Now as much as I don't believe in OWT... Surely it must mean my testosterone is through the roof. I'm thinking either I'm pregnant with a boy OR I'm pregnant with a baby chimp!!

Actually my DS3 is very hairy. He has a hairy back and legs and he is only two. I wouldn't say I was an overly hairy person normally although I have dark hair and eyes so when the hair does grow it is hard to hide. Luckily the hair that is now growing on my belly and boobs (yes you heard correctly) is blonde! Lol

Hi ladies, can I join you?

Got this on a frer, using fmu at 10 dpo (this morning). It's darker and pinker in real life, this shot was taken 5 mins after I took the test, it darkened when it dried.

After 5 chemicals (which were never this dark, and only 2 of those showed up on frer, the rest were ic's) I really hope this is my sticky bean.

Swayed for a girl since Jan 2013.

3rd month on clomid.

My due date would be 18th Feb if this sticks.

Hey ladies, hope your all well and the sticky little beans too of course!
I haven't had a chance to come on here for a while, I've been extremely busy packing away for the UK as I leave on Tuesday!! I HATE the packing process eurgh cannot wait to get it over with.
I had my first appointment last week it went well, however the only problem I had was a question mark next to if I could have deliver vaginally, because with my DD I ended up having an emergency c section, and DD was born in the UK, the midwife has told me to get a report of my surgery as they want to see which way my uterus was cut, if it was cut horizontally then it's perfectly fine to go for a natur birth however if it was cut vertically then it's a NO No, as its dangerous for mum to deliver vaginally that way and can cause difficulties :( .. I am rather worried as I really wanted a natural birth, it's what I've been dreaming of, But ofcourse if its life threatening or can causes serious difficulties I hve no choice!

But the up side is today Ill be going in for a scan :) they want to check baby's over all growth.. But it's a transvaginal scan lol which had freaked me out a little. Well just gotta makesure my legs are nicely waxed before I leave lol! But just praying everything is ok at the scan.

Congratulations Meeks wonderful news we have got so many joining us!!

How funny that what some of us think is cute grosses the rest of us out! I found my old teeth when my mum was having a clear out and it made me feel a bit sick!

The grossest thing I have heard (in a stalkerish creepy way) was when a friend told me that she had kept one of her boyfriends pubic hairs that she had found in her bed. Even after they broke up she kept it. I was literally lost for words. I think that is one that we will all agree is totally vile LOL.

LOL I'm glad other people save their old pregnancy tests. I've saved them for each pregnancy until the baby is born. Its super weird I know but I feel like I'll jinx it or something if I toss them.

I just called to get the radiology reports from my ultrasound and my exact due date which is now changed from Jan 26th to Jan 29th. Kinda funny b/c I did a reverse due date calculator online which tells you the conception date and that is 3 days after we had our last attempt. Hopefully that will help my girl sway:) I def wasn't trying for a cut-off as I just wanted to get pregnant.

I kept my bfp sticks (in a plastic bag) for a good 8 weeks into my pregnancy too... until dh complained that our bathroom was looking gross! haha I just threw them away a few weeks ago... LOL

Def not just an American thing, my mum kept mine in a glass jar. She could tell you about how each one fell out and what happened. Lol

Somehow glueing them into a baby book sounds more appropriate. Perhaps I can live with that. You watch, I bet I get all creepy and keep them all when my boys get to tooth-loosing age. I bet I make them into some sort or bra and top you all. Hahaha

Bahahhaha umbilical cords and pubic hairs. This thread is the funniest one yet. I think I know almost everyone too which means I'm going to be far more comfortable making inappropriate jokes. Those who don't know me, I'm almost always trying (and often failing) to be funny. If something sounds mean its prob because I know the person and we are more relaxed.

Ps here is today's, 11dpo darker again. I feel good about this. 11677

I had so many cramps that I thought were AF!! And still get them now (12 and half weeks). It seems the stretching pains get worse each pregnancy. I have also had the back pain and pains down my legs as well as the cramping, which would you believe it... Has been gas!! Never been so fooled and confused by my body. I also felt quite strong pains in my middle left to begin with, perhaps it was implantation. I have no idea. Just relax as much as you can and where possible lie down.

Thank you! That means the world to me, and has helped me calm down. Another friend IRL said she had exactly the pains I am describing, like faint stabbing/pinching in the middle, but not the crampy dull pain of af. That's pretty much what's happening to me, no crampy pain, just pinching and only a few times today. I hope it's stretching or the egg burrowing in deep into the lining. I am super tired, and still tender boobs, nausea, hungry and SO Thirsty. Plus my digital was pos today, and temps up. So I should relax. I am, most of the time. Trying to take it really easy.

I was thinking about my strange and manic dairy cravings, I never had cravings with ds 1 or 2, and I don't think it means I'm having a girl or anything, I think it's the 15 months of LE diet leaving me with such low reserves, my bodies reaction to being pregnant is to load up on fat and protein. I'm not craving salt at all. Going to temp one more day (tomorrow, cd13) then stop. Maybe it's LE making my personality so different, before I would have charted til 9 weeks like Charlee. But I kind of just want to stick my head in the sand and hope like hell it sticks. I can't take seeing a temp drop, in case I freak out, even if its a normal drop.

I have warned dh I may gain considerably more than previous pregnancies because I have starved myself for 15 months and been ttc for almost 18 months. It was all so stressful, and I didn't realise how much so until I got this bfp, especially this morning with the digital, and I felt SO relieved. I just kept thinking "it's over". All the strict eating and thinking about everything that goes in my mouth. I was never above average weight but never thought about food that extensively. If anything it was all about super high nutrients and eating healthy/superfoods. No wonder I had boys! Anyway I'm just so glad that's over. Trying not to go back to boy diet too fast, but my dairy cravings can't be ignored!!! It's like I'm possessed!!!

Meeks I had a lot of pinching too in the early weeks. It is very scary and unnerving and only really eased off around 7-8 weeks. Now I just get the heavy uterus feeling and the odd kick.

I was exactly the same re food and put on a stone (14lb) in the first 6 weeks of pg. I was scared that I would be ruining any sway if the pg didn't work out but I desperately needed the food. I just couldn't get the feeling of satisfaction after eating, but it had to balance with the nausea too. Everything worked out fine though as I'm still a full stone lighter than I was pre-le. I think because I was underweight & not very well nourished, it was my body's way of ensuring a healthy pg. The need to eat eased off around 7-8 weeks again but with it came an increase in nausea and my weight has since stabilised. I'm gaining very slowly and not really wanting to eat between meals.

Like you, the le diet has changed me too and I'm much less likely to rush into things or take the world on at the mo! I'm currently practising good ostrich behaviour and letting dh take charge of a lot more now. I really don't want to go back to my old eating habits but know that I am growing a little baby so it's okay to put on weight. I'm just not finished with swaying and want to balance growing a healthy bub with swaying pink again in 2014/15 if Dh'll agree!!

Meeks I still get cramps now! Apart from the usual stretching pains I have suffered MAJORLY with gas this pregnancy and like Tree said I've also had such bad pains with it! I know how hard it is not to worry honey but I'm sure that little bean is snuggling in there nicely.

I've really over endulged this pregnancy! Usually I feel sick so this limits it but for some reason this pregnancy I've had no MS (been worrying at times) so all I have done is eat! And my biggest craving is pasta! I could eat carbonara until its coming out of my ear holes nom nom nom

3boys, I over indulged with my DD... Ate anything and everything that came in my way lol!!! Honestly make the most of it, this pregnancy I hardly feel like eating , definitely loss of apetite and when I do start to feel the hunger pains I start feeling nauseas which makes it even worse and feel like I need food down me ASAP before I pass out ! Joys of pregnancy..

I had an early scan on Friday and me and hubby seen our little bean, was so lovely to see her/him all I could see was bubs kicking up a storm in there moving it's lil hands and feet around!! They gave me a EDD of January 5th.. Everything slowly kicking in now..ok maybe TMI but even though I'm drinkin water my pee is extremely yellow!! Lol I don't know if that's normal because I'm use to it being a light ish colour this is like so bright yellow, but apart from that I feel normal down below.

I think I may have a 12 week scan when I go to the UK, hopefully get a shot of the nub.

How are you ladies feeling?

The bright yellow can be from taking multivitamins. Berocca (b vitamin supp, not for use in pregnancy) has done this to me in the past, so I assume all multi's can. They say its when you take too much or don't use all of the vitamins that's the bodies way of getting rid of it.

So funny what you say about being pg with a dd. hope that's true. My ds1 and 2 pregnancies I lost 3-4kg in the first trimester because I was so sick and never felt like eating. Exactly what you said re nausea and hunger. I gained 14 and 16kg with their pregnancies by the end, but the lesser one I gave birth at 38 weeks, the more one was 42weeks.

This time I'm dead sure I'll be gaining 20+ if I keep going this way! Not that it matters. At all. But it's funny.

Urgh the smells are getting to me. Today we had risotto with tuna, tomato and spinach for dinner. I wanted it so bad, ate half, then started going off it from the smell. I couldn't finish despite being hungry, and had to move the bowl away. I still feel sick 3hrs later and keep smelling it despite cleaning it all up!

Meeks well done on deciding to stop temping tomorrow! I did it for too long and totally freaked when I had dips, only then to spend ages on google and discover they are pretty common. The last thing we need is more to stress about. Re food I couldn't wait to eat properly and the desire I'm sure is not only so great because of the LE diet but also because bubs needs lots of varied nutrients!

Meeks by the way thanks for guessing my nub pic - I did re post the crumpled pic underneath the three original pics in its non crumpled state, if that helps!?

The LE diet did change my attitude to food for the better. Unfortunately as the ms came along all my good lessons rapidly vanished out of the window. Carbs are my savour... All day long, and I too gave put on the best part of a stone. In fact it's probably at least a stone now, I've hidden the scales. :-)

3Boys the gas for me has been something else!!! Ridiculous. I guess it's the hormones, and perhaps our high carb diets too...

Afy lovely to have the early scan, it's so reassuring to see someone in there!

I have already gained about 3-5 lbs from coming off the LE diet. I have a feeling I'm gonna get really fat this time around lol. All I want is ice cream and donuts. I convinced DS1 to go with me at 7:30 this morning to get some:) I need help!

So I found out this morning that my MIL told her entire extended family about the baby. I'm happy that she is excited but I'm only about 7 weeks and we were waiting to tell people outside our immediate families. This time I can't hold it in. Every friend I see I tell. I wanted to wait to tell our parents, but now I'm scared someone will say something to them! I can't stop!

Agree with the mad eating. I never understood those women with cravings making their husbands go out and get things, but today I got half way through breakfast and couldn't eat the rest as it made me feel ill. I made dh get me a block of Carob (like chocolate) and ate that. Lol. I think I will become a craving freak and very very fat. Hahaha

I would love to jump on this thread as I just got my BFP last week. So thrilled to be off of LE. You all are killing me with the gas talk. I feel the same way and it's only been a week. Maybe it has to do with eating more all of a sudden?
Meeks, I had cramping too, and thought it was AF. Guess not!
Looks like I will have a due date of Feb 10. I am not thrilled with my OB right now as she is booked through August and I had to make my first appointment with the NP. Anyone have any experience with a midwife. Thinking about making the switch.

I basically can't wait to try everything possible to guess. It's half the fun (and nerves). I have a intelligender test in the cupboard just waiting for me to get to 10 weeks! I plan to ask for a nub shot at my NT scan. Is there anything else? I may, may, pay for a gender scan at 16 weeks, but they are about $150 AUD or more. Maybe I will wait.

My ob's office has an ultrasound machine so I may get a sneaky peak on that but last time they were reluctant to guess as its just for heartbeat and checking bubs is ok. I had a scan each visit last time though so maybe I could ask them to print a nub or potty shot but not ask Them to guess?

I always get gas when pregant so DH is looking out for it which isn't really fair as I don't think I am that bad yet. I have a 13 hr flight coming up with sooooo many poor souls trapped with me! Hey ladies! Sorry I havent posted much lately, we have TONS of stuff going on right now at home and work and I have just been swamped! Anyway just thought I would check in. I have tried to catch up on everyone so Im glad it looks like we are all doing well! And some new BFPs YAY!!

Ok so I am debating on doing intelligender. I know that it is an unreliable test, but I feel tempted just to try! What do you guys think? Knowing it really only measure pH, did you do it anyway? And if so, did you actually feel excited or disappointed based on the results? I have my NT scan coming up and I really feel torn about looking for a nub! I dont want to ruin my hopes so early! AGH!! I really feel torn :/ I dont even know if I want to find out sex at 20 weeks! What is wrong with me?!?! Esp with all the girls lately that have been getting opposites. What to do?!?

3boys-I agree seeing the new thread for due dates means we are chugging along nicely!!!

Oxox-I heard most of the time intelligender says its a boy. The sonographer at our scan 2 weeks ago said its super unreliable but....if it helps pass the time I say go for it!

So today has been a terrible day! I have already been sick twice today! Ugh.... I don't know why the m/s is so full out today but it is! Geez! My DH leaves tomorrow for a business trip and doesn't get back until Friday afternoon! So I have the boys all by myself and this m/s has got to go. Or it at least has to let up a little! I will feel better...I will feel better....I will feel better!

I tried intelligender with DS2 and I couldn't tell if it looked more like the girl color or boy- it was kinda in between. I don't think I'll do it again b/c it was pricey. Has anyone tried any of the Chinese gender charts? I know their isn't any real factual basis to them but I continue to try them. I have yet to find one that is correct for both of my kids though-its always right for DS1 and wrong for DS2 lol. Anyone know of a good one?

The Chinese charts should all work the same way (its a single theory) but some of the calculators online seem to ask for different info to put in. It's wrong with one and right with the other for me.

I had the same reaction to my intelligender with ds2 but I emailed them a pic and they sent me a result straight away. I was confused because if I held it to the light it looked girl but just sitting on the bench it looked boy. I'm yet to hear of one being wrong IRL though. Despite the mixed reviews.

I do like checking all the wacky theories though, even though they were wrong for my others.

Aww soar, I hope you do feel better soon! Are you on medication for it?

Smiley, just find one that says what you want it to say.... Now that's a good one!

With DS3 me and DH did the red cabbage test as well as intelligender. I even made him try to see if he got a boy result. There were so many pots of pee in my house!

Hi Grace, welcome Hun. Congratulations on your BFP. I'm due on the 26th-29th (unsure 100%) and I have three boys already too. How are you feeling Hun?

Wow this thread moves fast I ( baby brain ) forgot to come back and check it :)
I'm feeling quite sick so far just past 13 weeks so hopefully it will lessen soon
I'm so obsessed with looking at my 12 week scan which looks more feminine than my last 3 but there is no pic of the actual nub .
Hope every I e else is feeling good xxx

I plan on finding out :) I have an ultrasound booked for the 6th of July which will put me at 15 weeks. It's not a gender scan so I might not get to find out but I'm hoping I will catch a glimps of the goods. If not I will book a scan for 16 weeks plus specifically to find out sex. I'm going to try my best not to nubsess over my NT scan as it makes me crazy.

3 boys, I want to have a 16 week scan to find out sex I can't even wait until the 20 wk one ! It's about 100 dollars but I'm that obsessed that I need to know now ;) good luck at your scan . My scan will be around that date too :)

3boys that is hilarious! That is exactly what I do. I go by the one that gives me a girl this round and boys the last two rounds! I have found one that does this so Im going with that one currently :) Most are not accurate with the first two and some give me all three boy results (which is just unacceptable! LOL)

Don't worry Grace, just pop in when you can. Post your 12 week scan photo on here. I love seeing everyone's growing babes. Make sure you let us know the exact date of your gender scan so we can all wait and obsess with you. :)

Oxox.... Them Chinese gender things are a load of poop. If I click on one and it says boy... I disregard it completely. If it says girl... Oh it must be right ;) How are you feeling Honey?

I feel really icky today which is strange because for eleven weeks I've had no MS. I thought it was meant to be getting better now... Not starting!

Grace I feel the same way you do. My OB won't schedule an anatomy scan until 19Weeks, I'm not sure I can wait that long. There's a place by my house that does gender scan starting at 13weeks for $90 and if they can't see it or baby's not cooperating, you get to go back for free. I so want to go but my hubby made me promise to wait. I'll wait but if around 16 weeks I can no longer wait I'll see if I can convince him to let me go to the other place.

16 weeks seems so far away for me! Even 10 weeks when I can do intelligender is ages. Haha

Went to my gp for the blood test. He was his usual incompetent self, and took a full 10 mins to find the tick box for HCG in his computer referral software. I felt like saying "oh move over, I could learn the software and find and print the damn thing quicker". Lol. But held my tongue. So he prints the hcg test and asks if since I saw Dr K (the fertility specialist) if I've had "all my other pregnancy tests". I looked at him blankly. After 2 children I thought I had a handle on how this would go down. I held my pee prior to the appt because gp's never believe you when you say you are pg and its routine for them to do a dip stick test in their office before referring for the blood test.

Anyway, I said no, he handed me clomid, said "if you're not pregnant in 3 months come back and we'll do further tests and investigation". At which point the GP grabbed my referral back, um'd and ah'd a bit, then said "you book in with the nurse for the blood test, I'll find out what tests you need and speak to her".

.... O...K

So I'm booking a blood test with a lady who only works mornings, not within the practice, and I don't even have a referral, I'm just trusting that he will call her and get her one??? So odd.

I faked the whole "I stopped charting" thing and don't know my LMP to try and get a dating scan, and he just said "that's no problem, we can work that out" so I assume when I get my results I'll be referred for that.

So annoying. What else is there to test??

He didn't even do the dip stick test, so basically I walked out with no referral and no advice for my $60 fee.

I feel really icky today which is strange because for eleven weeks I've had no MS. I thought it was meant to be getting better now... Not starting!

Sorry to hear that the m/s is kicking in a bit for you. Mine went away for a bit around week 12/13 but has come back a bit this week. So strange, especially as I never had m/s with either ds. It feels weird to be a bit more like most pg ladies and have a rough first trimester! This week I've felt a bit like I've had a hangover and feel fragile when it comes to food. That feeling's come & gone the whole pg and now heartburn is starting to creep in :sigh: Not long now until your scan!!

Meeks, it sounds like your gp is a bit of a c*ck! I can't imagine having to pay a consultation fee too, that lack of care would really hack me off too if that'd happened to me.

oxox, I feel the same way about nub-guessing too and although I've had a few ladies on here take a look at my scan pics I haven't created a thread as I don't want to get my hopes up or dashed when it's not 100% anyway. I'm just happy that I was looking in the right area for a nub and am happy to wait until my 20 week scan to find out definitively.

Grace & Soar sorry the m/s is still affecting you both. Hope it eases off soon.

Smiley, the chinese charts never agree with my ds's too. I'm not even bothering to find out with this one as it's 50/50!

Thanks dream, yes he is a idiot! But because we live in a small town the next option for a gp is 1.5hrs drive. No thanks. But I'm glad my ob is fantastic, I'm going to use the same one as last time, so I won't have to see the gp much at all. In fact the only time in the past 12 months I've been to the doctor was for my referral to the fertility specialist. Not that I haven't been sick, I just refuse to go, pay, and be told to go home and wait it out.

So the nurse did have to chase the referral up but was able to see me this morning. I don't think I'll get the results of the blood test until Monday or Tuesday though, unfortunately!

I woke up at 3am with the worst morning sickness. I always get it early, and feel constantly hungover and like I may spew at any moment but never actually get the relief of doing it. Just that horrible water in my mouth like I'm going to. It's not to that stage yet though, I was able to go back to sleep and figured I couldn't feel sick if I was sleeping, lol.

LOL! I never got my NT scan done. I actually was having multiple panic attacks leading up to that day so I cancelled it. I mainly was worried about getting a positive result and having to deal with that stress when it's likely nothing (and because either way we'd keep the baby) BUT I also didn't want to see the nub and have to think about that forever too!! I'm also a little shocked I passes on the opportunity to see the baby, but that same week I had a Dr. appt. and heard the heartbeat so for me it was equally as reassuring in a way! We are staying team green this time.. and I have noooo desire to know the gender what so ever. I figure why not live in a world of maybe's for more months if I can. I know if it's DS#3 I will have no issues at birth as that's what I'm mostly expecting!

I just finally got back into my FF chart and changed over to pregnancy mode. Found the BEST tip on morning sickness, and its got me wondering if this is why I was naturally craving yoghurt, cheese, and milk!! My sickness was slightly better today. Coincidence?

"My mid wife saved me during morning sickness when she shared this- the actual cure for morning sickness- PROTEIN!
Strange that all the books tell you to eat crackers and toast, carbs, when what your body really needs is some protein to get you going!"

Meanwhile...

I get my blood work back Monday to confirm what we already know. The gp said "good luck" as I walked out and I was really annoyed. I wanted to slap him and say "no, I don't need luck, I'm already pregnant as evidenced by my hpt's you idiot". Of course I smiled and thanked him and went on my way, quietly plotting scenarios where he gets fired. I think no matter what he says I want to be angry because he's so incompetent. Thankfully I will see my ob soon enough and not have to deal with the idiot gp.

Meeks-I am totally going to try the protein tip for m/s! Thanks for sharing that info!

So I thought I had hit my all time worst with the m/s earlier this week getting sick 3 times in one day which I thought was super odd but just thought this is my bad luck. Then my youngest son started throwing up that same evening and low and behold he definitely had a stomach bug. Now both of us woke up this morning and so far so good! I am hoping that both of us caught a bug and now it has passed. I still feel slightly queasy but not enough to take Zophran so I am taking this as a positive! Plus I had been taking the Zophran religiously for 3 weeks and now that I am off of it I really feel better. I think I took it for so long bc I was afraid of what would happen if I didn't!

This morning a friend posted she is having a girl after 2 boys and it gave me
Some hope that you can get a girl after 2 boys. I don't know if she swayed but it was good to see that it can happen! Here's to hoping we are all baking our little girls!

Obviously a no from me, but I felt movement from 11-14 weeks on for each of mine.

This morning I was up at 4am thinking I was going to throw up, feeling horrible sitting on the toilet for 2hrs with a bucket until I just went back to bed at 6am and my alarm went off for work at 6.30. I feel like death, but then this is what a newborn is like so maybe it's good practice!

Does or has anyone had to take iron during pregnancy? I was having to take it before I was pregnant but stopped and feel like I need to start taking some again.. I don't have another appt. for 2ish weeks so hopefully I can hold off until then to ask my OB about it!

Yes I have had to take iron in all my pregnancies and after so long on LE I had to take it while ttc at the end too. I felt dizzy, saw stars when I stood up, was extremely fatigued (more than normal for pregnancy or ttc) often got dizzy then felt like throwing up. Starting iron had immediate benefit and within 24hrs I felt better.

I had blood tests to confirm I was low in both pregnancies but while ttc this time when I had the same symptoms I just started it myself. It's my only 'boy sway' factor. But one I couldn't avoid.

Well the low protein and morning sickness thing must be true, before bed last night I ate about two handfuls of pistachio nuts, and a glass of milk.

I didn't wake up sick last night for the first time in a week so that's fantastic! This morning I felt well and made my own muesli with lots of seeds and almonds and high protein things. Fx it keeps working!

What type of iron do you take? There are so many different kinds I don't know what Dr. recommend for pregnancy? I also had to take some while ttc for the same reasons. I would be out for a week with horrible dizziness and nausea every time AF came so I as well knew it was just something I had to take, but stopped probably around 5 weeks thinking the amount in my prenatal was fine.

We told my parents today we are expecting baby 3.0 today! I wrapped up the picture of all of us with an =5! It was a day early for Father's Day but I just couldn't wait any longer. My Dad got it as soon as he opened it up! He was so excited and started tearing up! I love little moments like this! My mom of course was crying and so sweet! We also gave them a picture of DS1 with a chalkboard that read Big Bro X2 and then another with DS2 with a chalkboard that said I'm being promoted to Big Brother in January 2014! We tell my DH's parents the same way but tomorrow!

As far as eight gain goes I was 115 when we conceived and now I'm 122! 7lbs already! Yikes! I am hoping its just a little water weight! Heehee :-)! I am 10 weeks and I told myself I will NOT wear maternity until 12 weeks but if I keep gaining a pound a week that maybe a little difficult! How is everyone else feeling about their IRL clothes? I am definitely unbottoning the top button after dinner! Eck!

I've put on loads of weight, I always do in the first trimester as I need to constantly eat so I don't feel sick.

I'm into the second trimester now and feeling better all the time (minis the relentless fatigue - which is now thanks to insomnia!!!? Seriously???) so I guess I should start eating healthier and less... Got into some bad habits. I look pretty pregnant already and mainly wear leggings, normal trousers don't fit anymore. In spite of the LE diet I did stills manage to hold on to my little tummy pouch.

Soar, what a lovely way to tell your parents! I hope you are met with the same lovely reaction when you tell DH's parents!

So is anyone still feeling nervous about bubs (as you approach/enter the second trimester)? I feel like my worrying is endless... And I'd really like to just enjoy being pregnant.

By the way we told some friends yesterday we are expecting our third... And the girl comments were endless, 'do you want a girl', 'have you picked your girl name yet', 'I'm so glad I have a daughter', 'if you don't get a girl this time will you go for a boy'... And they didn't stop!! My biggest concern about having another boy is having to deal with people's comments!! I've started saying that Yes it would be lovely to have a daughter as we don't have one, but every dynamic is special so we will be very happy with whatever we get! Obviously the most important thing is a healthy person. I honestly don't know how I will feel if we have another boy, there is something very cool about a brood of boys and I absolutely adore my boys. I do like the idea of having a chilled out little girl and having someone to share my girlie side with. But lets not forget not all girls are girlie.... Desiring a gender kinda puts a lot of pressure in the expectations you have and I suppose if we have a girl I will have to keep those expectations very much in check.

Still not sure what to make of my nub pic. Ds2 was relatively flat, as in it wasn't right up there making it totally obvious. And there are loads of confirmed boy pics that had lots of girl guesses...

I can't remember the name of the iron but its the one I was put on in pregnancy, which had iron with folic acid and vit c, except I switched to same brand minus the vit c and folic since I was on LE. Same kind of iron so I assume its still fine in pregnancy. Now I'm taking a prenatal I've started only taking half a tablet of the iron, will see if I get tired. I have been this week but we had a lot going on. When I started the prenatal vitamin I made sure to adjust my folic acid so that I've continued on the same amount as while ttc. I don't want to muck with that.

Telling your parents that way is lovely, I really like that idea! Actually we told dh's parents today and ds2's birthday out of necessity as dh's mum kept trying to make me drink champagne, and I ended up saying something by accident the third time she asked me. I said "no, no really I can't" then immediately realised there is only a handful of reasons a woman my age can't drink. She clicked pretty fast and I had to shush her and say it was only early and we haven't even had an ultrasound yet.

Tree you will love this, her first comment was "oh, that's lovely. Congratulations." (Good comment) then "can you have a girl this time please? We need a girl in the family". NO WORRIES, because its so easy. Grrr! I told her I expected a boy just because I was grumpy!

I'm feeling big too! Especially come the end of the day it really pops! I'll take a pic sometime this week and post. I really don't like this stage of pregnancy when I just feel more fat than anything. My pants are feeling tight and several pairs are no longer wearable. Once I get a lot bigger I feel like it's obvious that I'm going to feel big.. but I really hate the initial bump when it's still a little questionable whether I haven't lost baby weight from before, or if I'm pregnant again!

Haha love the pics, you look fantastic, but I know what you are all talking about. I like to refer to it as the 'swallowed a keg' stage of pregnancy. Where nobody knows if you have just been drinking too much beer or eating junk food, vs actually pregnant. I hate it too! I like it when it's tight and big and obvious that you are pg!

If it makes you feel any better my skin is like a teenager again. I have big ugly pimples everywhere!!

Also, I cleaned the house yesterday before ds2's party and pulled every single muscle in my bum! How on earth I did that doing something I do all the time I have no idea, but every time I sit or bend over today it kills!! Lol

Omg how exciting!!

4 year olds are crazy, I agree. My ds1 is 4 and drives me mad most days. My ds2 just turned 2 and has been trialing tantrums, but has no stamina. He lasts 30 seconds and nobody pays attention so he stops. Ds1 could chuck it for 3 hrs and keep going weather you paid attention or not. After him poor ds2 never stood a chance. Lol

Lol I would feel the same re hearing girl vs boy!!

Urgh, gp was being an ass as usual. He referred me to my ob, and I asked about a dating scan, he didn't know when they did them, then said "oh probably 8 weeks" then "your ob can organise the referral" except in AUS we don't see our ob until 11 weeks.

Anyway by then I can see the bub on my ob's ultrasound anyway so there's no point. I just really wanted to know bubs was in the right spot and only one baby! How annoying.

Here are my bloods taken at 15 dpo. Which number is my hcg? The 202 or the 524?

Hi girlies, hope I haven't missed much!? I finally feel better after having a Nasty bug which then went round every member of my household! DH complained the most about it... men!!! hahaha. My DS1 has now got a bad ear infection so all in all its been a awful week.

On the up side had my midwife appointment and heard a lovely HB.

Meeks I think it's 202 although its very confusing how its set out. Does it make sense that on the 19/10/10 when they done your draw it was 524 and on 01/09/11 when they done your draw it was <5 and on 12/06/13 (this pregnancy) 202.x

Ahhh yes that 2010 one may have been ds2's result (creepy they would keep it and include it in this test page), but no idea why I was tested in 2011. Oh well! So 202 at 15dpo is normal I guess?

Relaxed about hcg after googling, that seems slightly above the norm but within usual levels for 15 dpo.

Called my fertility doc who saw me before starting me on clomid, to say i was pg on 3rd round, he is giving me a scan in 2 weeks!!! When i'm 7 weeks along. Yay!!!!

I just really wanted to know its in the right spot and there is only 1!

Hey girls! Just thought I would check in :) Have my NT scan tomorrow and nervous is an understatement! But I think I am ready. Part of me is hoping not to see anything but a happy, healthy baby bouncing around.... I have also been revisited by tons of nausea and crap this week. I thought it was supposed to be getting better not worse?!? UGH.

How is everyone else?

Soar

Oxox-exciting let us know how it goes! I still have nauseau in the evenings but its getting better. Maybe this is just a little bump and you will feel better tomorrow!

So today I was at Target and I saw two little boys with a mom holding the tiniest little girl! She was probably two weeks old but I thought ok there's another 2 boys and a girl family! Still gives me hope we can carry our daughters!

I have really been finding that I am really thinking about this baby a lot and whether or not its a girl. My gut feeling is its a boy but I have this little glimmer of hope like maybe the sway worked. Anybody else thinking about this more than they would like? I feel like I'm going insane! I'm 10 weeks and I have another 10 to go before I can find out.

Oxox.... good luck with your NT scan tomorrow. Exciting stuff! I'm excited about mine! yet the nearer it gets the more nervous I feel about my own next week. My ideal scan will be not to see any nub that way I can't obsess over it!

Soar... At the moment I am not thinking about it too much. I usually start getting bad after the NT scan (but that's when I usually see a willy). I wish I didn't care about gender. I wish I was equally hoping for both genders. How wonderful that would be! I've started calling this baby 'he' and 'him' so I can start mentally preparing now.

All I want for Christmas is a healthy baby with no GD!.... Is that too much to ask!

Soar - DH and I have seen so many people recently with 2 boys and then 1 girl. We'll be talking about how there's no way we're having a girl while in the car parking at a store and infront of us walk a 2 boys, younger girl family. This has happened more than once! I'd love to say it's a sign, but it's just a TEASE! It is totally possible.. and I actually believe it's probably in general more like a 60/40 chance. I also hate to admit how I'm feeling or what I'm thinking but I think about the gender of this baby ALL the time. We aren't finding out until delivery as I just can't handle comments for 20+ weeks after hearing boy. It's so hard to explain because I just KNOW it's going to be a boy, but my heart or 'spirit' feels like it's totally a girl. But I just know it'll be a boy... how's that for not making ANY sense! DH feels the exact same way though.. so weird, but at least he gets my crazy logic so we joke about it together "Yes, I actually think deep down it's going to be a girl.. but it's totally going to be a boy"

Ugh, it's so annoying because I just wish my brain or whatever wouldn't even let me believe there is a possible chance. I know I will be thrilled if another little boy pops out in December because I see so many benefits to having another boy but obviously a girl would just make things feel so complete too. With my other two I just knew it was a boy, and had the odd glimmer of hope, but mostly felt dooms day knowing what was going to come at the ultrasound and I was always right. No clue why I have some weird hope/feeling this time.. I hate it!!

MSBLAKELY I know how u feel. 20 weeks knowing boy could be hell. Then again so could a delivery room shock!

I keep thinking that this must be a boy because that is what I have made so far. I hate that I have no inkling at all. DH used to laugh at me for being a witch - I get O pains and always know I am pg well before a BFP and yet I have no idea what this little one is. I have my NT scan Thursday so I might get a glimpse - I find scans quite hard t read though especially when they are moving!

Good luck with the scan! I partially decline the NT scan because I didn't want to deal with a nub. Especially since we are waiting I just thought it could totally ruin the experience. There is definitely part of me that wants to find out at the 20 weeks scan, but we've found out for both DS's and this is 100% our last baby so we want to experience the surprise. I'm not worried about GD because I barely had it with either of the boys, it was more just a "too bad it'll never happen" feeling. BUT, I can totally appreciate the GD and if I knew it were a possibility I would have to know earlier or else I'd worry it'd cause postpartum depression. For me I just really really want a healthy baby... and I figure if i'm the only girl in the family.. more money for me to spend on clothes, purses, jewellery! All the shopping I dreamt about doing with a girl I'll just have to spend double on myself to keep me sane LOL!

I know exactly how you feel. We have three girls and want a boy of course. My husbands brother just had there 5th girl no boys! I don't want to know what we are having this time, leave it a surprise. Honestly if I heard I was having a girl I really wouldn't care I just wanted a baby! Boy would be a plus. I always tell and prepare my husband for another girl I tell him look at our girls, how could you honestly be upset to have another beautiful girl!!! I think all the ladies wanting girls that are due in December have a good chance of having girls! December is going to be a girl month there's so many people that I know are pregnant with girls right now!! So I hope all you ladies dreaming pink have healthy little girls!
