Felt headachy this morning so had two slices of white toast with strawberry jam after approx 13.5hr fast.

No snack as I'll have had my three meals
Aiming for 1750 cals 52g fat 38g protein (although I'm relying on MFP for the nutritional values for chip shop chips!)

I def don't want to go over 1300 of I set myself that limit then I don't feel too guilty if I go over. I don't have much to loose but I find it so hard to loose weight for some reason.

At least, now we will not sway in August anymore and I'm relaxed. Soon will leave to holiday so I will be back to strict things end of August like you girls told me to do.

Thanks Steph but unfortunately my knee is still pretty painful. People tell you to ice it every couple of hours and rest as much as possible. How I'm supposed to rest it with three little boys to manage I've no idea!

weezie i am sorry to hear that :( with one boy how could you rest lol but with 3!! wow!
For the past week I have been bad on the diet. As I said before since last thursday I was worried about lack of O so I ate a bit more and it must have worked as I am pretty sure I am 4-5dpo now. Problem is i have continued to be at least a little over. I am giving myself the weekend and then getting back to it on monday. The sushi and champers was delicious last night, I ate a lot as Yo sushi was doing £2.50 a plate hehe
today is a similarly naughty day, strawberries, yoghurt, chocolate and coffee for breakfast, a crayfish and prawn burger with chips for lunch and now I am opening a bottle of champers and waiting on my sushi takeaway, I am having unagi don (eel), soft shell crab roll, stir fried pak choi and mackerel nigri. Wanted to have everything different to last night for a bit of variety :)
I am guessing around 2500 cals, 85g fat, 70g protein

I LOVE Japanese food! We're going out tomorrow night in Brighton for Japanese as it's our wedding anniversary and we spent our honeymoon in Japan. Can't wait! I'm having a very low calorie lunch in preparation and am planning on avoiding the fried options on the menu as Japanese can be quite LE friendly if you're careful.
Today mostly went as planned except I forgot to cook the spring rolls so had four squares of DH's choc instead! :)

Thanks ladies. We did! Feel a bit tipsy :)
Lunch - potato salad with low fat mayonnaise and salad
Snack - fat free Batchelors super noodles and Weight Watchers chocolate roll plus half a chocolate cookie at DS1s school fair
Dinner - two sake/gin cocktails, shitaki mushroom maki rolls, 3 of DH's sift shell crab and avocado rolls, veggie rice dish inc shitaki mushrooms and a bit of tofu, a few vegetable tempura and half a bottle of white wine!
No idea really but other than the tempura and avocado there was very little fat so I think I did well x

If I'm ever in Brighton again I will bear in mind. The past 3 nights I've had sushi and champagne - absolute heaven. I could do it every day!!!! Feeling a bit sickly with hangover this morning though! I remember getting the chocolates out for my friend last night and I was the one eating them all..... And I can't exercise this weekend as no one to look after DS.
Been bad for over a week now diet wise, I'll try to get back on it from tomorrow.

Ha ha I just remembered that I scoffed four chocolate digestives on the train on the way home! Damn that alcohol! :)

Feeling so frustrated. We took the boys to Pizza Express for lunch as DS1 had had a Tai Kwon Do grading. So I choose a Classic (which is their small size) pomodoro pesto pizza. Also had a spoonful of the boys' raspberry sorbet and a lemonade. When I got home I tried to add this to MFP and I'm now totally confused. I've found values from 600ish to 1100ish with up to 60g protein and fat!!! How do I then know how much food I can eat? I'm starving right now and found myself sneaking spoonfuls of the boys' salmon and broccoli bake so I decided to have some baked crisps and a drink. Dinner is meant to be veggie stir fry and rice so I'm hoping it'll stay within the totals!

Awww thanks for replying Atomic. I've been doing so well with the diet! After about 9 weeks I've hardly gone over at all so I think that's why it feels frustrating. Especially as I feel I made sensible choice from the menu! I've had a handful of peanuts and some Cava so feel more relaxed now :)

I was going to say - I'm pretty sure pizza express has nutritionals on their website. And you will have an instinct for what is correct. But you haven't had a day off the whole time and surely deserve one. I would guesstimate 700-800 cal, 30g protein and 30g fat for that pizza if it was me.
I have been grazing all day today I'm really enjoying it but this plus the fact I've been so naughty for about 11 days now....pretty worried if I'm not PG. Which I know I'm not. But I'm back on the wagon tomorrow and I've needed the time off.

Well I was wrong - 400 cal, 18g protein, 17g fat. Didn't realise it was the one with a hole in the middle :) you did really well what are you worried about lol
weeziewoozles
July 6th, 2014, 01:13 PM
You're lovely! I didn't have the low cal one with the hole as I was starving. I had the classic which is normal size one. On their nutrition page they have the larger one listed as 1165 or something! More than the American - the pepperoni one! Hey ho. What's interesting is how it made me feel. I thought I was following the guidelines so felt floored when I looked at their website. If I'd chosen to have their biggest meatiest pizza, I wouldn't have even checked its nutrition.
stephk
July 6th, 2014, 01:26 PM
Oh no I wouldn't have posted it if I had known that!! I really don't think you have had a single day where you have strayed the whole time so I really think you are fine. If you were starving, you needed the food.

Also Weeziewoozles remember if you don't get enough calories your body will think you are starving and will desperately hold onto everything as it will be worried more is not coming. I think you are doing great!
I'm slowly getting back on the diet. Going to add exercise back this week, and start also doing more veggie filled options.
weeziewoozles
July 7th, 2014, 04:47 AM
Funnily enough I only put on a pound yesterday even after the pizza and the row of cheeky caramel chocolate I had after dinner. So I guess the pizza was probably in the middle of those values.
I know treats are allowed (I don't call them cheats). And I know my response exudes Martha qualities! I like working treats into my day but I guess I like being in control of that! :) For instance I've had five chocolate digestive biscuits with my morning coffee (after a 13hr fast so not toooo early) :)

Hi ladies, I'm back for a bit while in my 2WW. I've lost freaking 6 lbs since AF, so I'm worried I'm not pg and don't have much weight left to lose. It's hard to be motivated to stay on the diet (especially since I'm going on vacation on Friday!!), but I'll be doing my best.
Weezie - has AF returned yet? The fact that you are so strict on the diet without even having AF is amazing. I can barely stay on the diet and I attempted Saturday so I should be super motivated!
SamS_TTCPink
July 7th, 2014, 07:54 AM
I found it hard to stay on the diet after attempts too, but a few treats won't hurt things too much. Hopefully you'll get your BFP so it won't matter anyway. 😊
weeziewoozles
July 7th, 2014, 05:13 PM
Hi again BlueBonnet. No, no AF yet. I have cut down on the BF though. I didn't want to rush DS3 off the boob but I felt that he wasn't really "eating" but playing more. So I've not been offering it and he's not requested it as much. So in the last two months I've gone from 3 or 4 feeds a day to mostly one before breakfast. If I can wean him off that with a promise of bigger bowls of porridge or more homemade spelt bread, then I should get a cycle soon I think.
Today was ok as I adjusted to allow for the yummy chocolate digestives I had.
Snack - lots of chocolate digestive biscuits
Lunch - French bread with a smear of pesto for flavour, topped with chopped baby tomatoes and a slice of mozzarella. Plus baked crisps and a row from a caramel choc bar
Snack - baked crisps
Dinner - pasta with griddled courgettes, mushrooms and yellow peppers, salad and wine
Totals 1810cals 50g fat 48g protein

Hi girls! thanks for some more great ideas of what I can be eating. I was ttc earlier this year and have taken a break for the past few months. I lost too much weight and was not feeling too good so i needed to step away for a while. We have just restarted the diet and will be ttc again in the next few months. I am usually quite a healthy eater, so the LE diet is a big change for me. I don't think I can go as far as to incorporate artificial sweeteners in my sway. Does anyone know statistics on here from girls that did and didn't incorporate that into their sway? Is it a big factor? Thank you
bluebonnet22
July 7th, 2014, 10:10 PM
chloe - I don't think artificial sweeteners matter at all. I don't think there are stats, but I've seen TONS of successful sways on this site that don't use them at all.
I'm going to start posting here again (at least until I go on vacation on Friday). I'm having major problems sticking to the diet now that I've had my attempt so maybe this will help. I was very naughty today, but I blame going WAY too far yesterday (I thought it was ovulation day so I didn't eat much all day and made myself sick). I woke up hungry and had a bad day.
Breakfast (put off eating until 10:00 AM, but felt so so sick so I had to cave!): 1 confetti cake poptart - normally I'd never EVER eat poptarts, but such is life on LE!
Lunch (1 PM) - 1/2 of a margherita flatbread
Snack (5 PM) - small non fat caramel frappucino, no whip cream
Dinner (8 PM) - 2 slices of mushroom/green pepper pizza from papa johns, 1/2 bottle of wine
1735 calories, 48 grams of fat (25%), 50 grams of protein
Must be better tomorrow!

Chloe - I never have and never would use artificial sweetener. It's a personal choice thing and I don't think this (or any one thing) would make or break a sway.
Yesterday:
500- coffee with whole milk
930- Nescafé cafe menu latte sachet, a banana, a graze honeycomb flapjack
1200- a jacket potato, mash direct cauliflower cheese, salad leaves and beetroot
400- can of pret sparkling ginger beer
800- stuffed peppers (recipe on the recipe thread) , ate a handful of pretzels and humous as I cooked. Glass of whole milk.
2000 cal, 63g fat, 50g protein

Last time I drank one diet drink a day, usually in the morning to keep me going. I found I had regular headaches and put it down to them. So this time I might drink a few in the days before DTD but no more than that. I normally eat REALLY healthily too so am finding the extra sugar and processed food very odd!
Plan for today:
Lunch - Tesco healthy living bean soup with some bread/bagel, a Fanta and a Weight Watchers chocolate roll
Snack - Baked crisps and a drink
Dinner - pasta with Weight Watchers Piri Piri sauce, and LE friendly veggies, with wine
Junie
July 8th, 2014, 03:24 AM
Yesterday I had a coffee for breakfast. Take out Asian vegetable stir fry for lunch (was basically vegetables in oil with white rice), and some weight watcher cookies and marshmallows for dinner. I was just not hungry after working out in the evening. I have to admit that unlike some of you ladies I have no problems with sweets and super processed foods. I love them :D :D I just want to eat more of them then the LE diet allows LOL. I didn't calculate totals but since I basically only ate one meal I'm sure I'm fine. I'll have to make sure to eat better today though so that I don't start losing too quick.

8.30- jacket potato with butter, beans, coleslaw and strips of cucumber and crabsticks, diet coke, mini custard pot

The cauliflower and broccoli cheese I made was pretty good, although not as yummy as DH's version. Mine was made more LE friendly. I cooked two portions with 20g butter, 40g flour, 400ml low fat almond milk and 40g low fat cheddar cheese, on top of half a head each of cauliflower and broccoli. The almond milk gave it all a greyish colour and I'd have liked it cheesier, but it was yummy served with reduced fat oven chips. Having the other half tonight! :).

Welcome!! I'm reading the posts but no longer tracking calories so not posting much. I did however find a great lunch which I have been doing often which I actually genuinely enjoy. I turn the oven grill/fan combo on, put big black and green olives, Padrón peppers (the short Spanish green peppers which aren't very spicy), and low fat 9% feta in a little baking dish and bake it under the broiler for a few minutes. Then I either eat it alone or add it to salad. So yummy! And very easy to fit with LE as it is mainly veggies. I've only been doing about 2 meals a day and feel like my totals are fine so no need to track anymore at this point. :)

Belated happy birthday to you weezie!! I do find I get worse hangovers on LE because I'm not eating enough calories so the alcohol is often on a relatively empty stomach. I'm excited to see you join the TTC in August thread when that gets started later this week.

Thanks BlueBonnet! I'm getting nervous now as I said to myself we'd start TTC when I'd done three months of LE, which I've now done! :nails:
