Holy cow...I couldn't keep up with that last thread and its already June! So starting a fresh thread.
Congrats on the bfp's that have popped up!!!
So I couldn't decide if we were going to ttc this cycle but in the end we did. This is our last month ttc before we wait a year.
I think I o'd either Sat or Sun...not sure. I had O pain both days which is not normal for me. Usually its just one day but I had it 2 days in a row. I wasn't supposed to O until today (Mon) but oh well.
FX this is our month ladies!!!!!

woohoo joining in too! I had my positive OPK at 4.30pm on friday, was a negative line on saturday 2pm so I stopped testing. Had O pains on saturday afternoon. Guessing I O'ed on either saturday or sunday with saturday looking most likely going by the pains, putting me at 3 dpo............
Hoping for lots of BFPs!

here I am again already bringing the mood of this thread down :( sorry. I am just in such a bad mood and really think I have failed again. When I went to the loo earlier I wiped and had EWCM, I couldnt believe it, it should have all gone now! My temps arent really conclusive yet although it does appear that they have shifted. A few more days and I will know for sure. The problem with possibly O'ing at the weekend and doing temps is that alcohol messes them up, hence they are not overly conclusive at the moment. If I take out the really questionable ones, a line can be drawn but there are some very close temps before and after if that makes sense. Just feeling very fed up and trying to ignore anything going on in the womb area because it would be going on anyway regardless. Cant properly motivate myself to be as good on the diet either so have decided to relax a little then start up again properly on monday. I have a hen weekend this weekend and I am bridesmaid, I am not going to let my friend down by being miserable and thinking of diets or symptoms or anything else. But even in these next few days I am really not going to follow things as strictly as normal. Not that I am that strict really I am just getting fed up. I know its not the diet or exercise thats stopping me getting PG its just luck but I am really over this TTC thing.

Steph...I had what looked a bit.like ewcm after my attempt last month all the way until my miscarriage. It's more yellow though. Major sign of pregnancy for me at least.
Rosie85
June 3rd, 2014, 11:13 AM
Also my tests are negative but I have something similar to ewcm coming today. Hoping it's the pregnancy juice. Lol
stephk
June 3rd, 2014, 12:11 PM
I never used to get ewcm after O it was always white and creamy. However that was a long time ago! This time I haven't got a clue what's normal. Hopefully the fact you have it now is a good sign for you :)

Been having stitch type pains and a bit of other weird pain like I'm going to O! Took an OPK just now and am relieved it's a faint negative line, really not in the mood to BD!! Praying I can reach a conclusion with tomorrow's temp! Only problem is I've had lots of liquid as I normally drink plenty when not doing opks....
Trying very hard not to snack too, can't wait to eat dinner when DS is in bed!!

June 3rd, 2014, 01:43 PM
Those could be pregnancy related pains. I don't believe that you don't have symptoms until implantation. I get them pretty much right away. Cramping...discharge. ..nausea...They aren't super noticeable until 4 dpo but I can pick them out if I try. I've had 4 pregnancies and symptoms don't lie for me.
stephk
June 3rd, 2014, 02:03 PM
Wow - I don't recall any symptoms this early last time, in fact I think I had less symptoms during my successful month than the unsuccessful ones! And I had a diary which I wrote down all symptoms (no wonder I had a boy lol). But of course every time will be different. Well I think you and I are in for a looong week. Really trying hard not to read into anything as I know how gutted I'm going to be (and planning a Nutella binge again if AF does come!!)

June 3rd, 2014, 02:06 PM
I'm right there with you Steph and Rosie. I'm 2 or 3 dpo, not 100% sure since I had O pain both days (very strange) BUT I woke up with a small amount of mixed CM. So I have no idea what is going on in there. :( Its so frustrating.
I don't temp ( I probably should) and OPK are so hard to read for me. So I go by cm and O pain.
How long are your LP girls? Mine is usually 7 days so I don't have too long to wait before AF is late but I don't get a BFP until much later (13 dpo at the soonest) so I have to wait to test. :(
FX that the weird CM is a good sign ladies!!

I'm right there with you, steph, on being fed up with trying to figure out anything in the womb area. I've been dtd right at +OPK for months, and still nothing. What gives? It's all so frustrating trying to figure out when O is.
I'm on cd 22 today. I think we dtd way too early to catch the egg this month, but I'm already itching to test anyway. Going out of town on a big family fishing trip and with either have a great time getting my mind off of it, or end up strangling my sis-in-law who is pregnant and going on and on about how she really wants *another* girl this time.

June 3rd, 2014, 02:53 PM
Fivebabies- I only started temping this cycle because I suspect a short LP, of 5-9 days. So once I know I'm going back to the doctor for help. It never used to be this short, atomic thinks it's still the remnants of BCP working their way out (I've now been off it for 6 months, had no idea the damage it would cause to TTC). She advised me to make the effort to have 4 eggs a week, full fat dairy every day ad zinc 3 times a week because I've been on the diet for 7 months. Are you able to get PG with a LP of 7 days? I'm not knowledgeable but thought you needed it to be 10 days?
Girliedreamz it's all down to rotten luck really isn't it, you can do everything right and BD at the exact right time and still fail :( hope your fishing trip is a nice distraction and your sis in law keeps her gob shut. How many kids does she have?
fivebabies
June 3rd, 2014, 03:42 PM
Steph- I know for sure that the last baby was conceived with a regular 7 day LP but I think the 2 before that were 10 day LP and I have no idea on the 2 before those because I wasn't paying any attention. :( I think I'm having hormonal issues and that's why I'm not getting PG. That's why this is our last attempt for awhile, so I can sort out my issues.
girliedreamz- So sorry SIL is being such a pill! I hate it when people throw it around casually not thinking of others' feelings...or worse, doing it on purpose!
stephk
June 3rd, 2014, 04:26 PM
That's good to know, fivebabies. I hope you are PG but if not, hope that you manage to get to the bottom of the issues.

June 3rd, 2014, 05:46 PM
I tried taking B6 to lengthen my LP but it delayed O 3 days...but then my LP was the same so I just had a cycle 3 days longer ....so it didn't lengthen my LP at all, just delayed everything.
Thanks! And I'm pretty sure I know what I need to do to work out my hormone issues: lose weight. :P I also have PCOS so that doesn't exactly help!

Sis-in-law has 2 kids from a previous marriage, boy and girl. Her daughter is a doll, and the younger of the two, so I can see why she wants sister for her to play with. She means well... but I still may strangle her. Or just push her in the lake. ;P

I so know how you feel stephk!! I had EWCM yesterday??!!? And some mild cramping and positive opk's still?!!? I have no idea what's going on and I'm fed up too. I'm constantly fighting with DH at the moment too as he is working crazy long hours and I have to go out at 11pm to pick him up for him to then come home and sit on the computer!! 😠 I'm so sure we are out this month as we only had one successful attempt a week ago (at first pos opk) and now maybe I haven't ovulated til yesterday?! It's driving me crazy.

June 4th, 2014, 03:50 AM
mum I think I need to come over there and give your DH a slap lol. I think you are in with a shot because at least you did BD at the first positive OPK. It is weird that you had a positive OPK again yesterday though - dont some people get these a week after O because there is a surge of estrogen or something like that?
girliedreamz - in the lake....in the lake ;)
My temp this morning is definitely conclusive and actually this is what happened when I conceived DS, I had a positive OPK on the monday and then a conclusive temp rise on the friday. This time it was a positive OPK on friday and temp rise today. I think a coverline could be drawn that puts the first temp rise on saturday though (i would have to discount monday which is 0.03 lower than one of the earlier temps), they have just gone even higher today. I dont know, I only temped that one month I conceived DS so I really have nothing to compare this to. The point is i can finally say I have ovulated and can hopefully find out what is going on with the LP so I can go to the doctor when AF shows her ugly face. Really wanted to avoid this temping business but I guess its essential!

Mumofsix-- I think you still have a good chance. I often get ewcm for up to a week before O and sometimes afterwards as well. When I got pregnant with DS2 I had NO ewcm before O and only had it for two days afterwards but still managed to get pregnant on accident! I also had yellow cm during my TWW.

He needs more than a slap lately!! And he has been staying back with just him and one girl he works with and wondered why and got so angry when I "sighed" about it, when he almost left me for a girl he worked with once before. I'm sure nothing's going on but I don't have to like that it's just them two together.
And I've been cooking dinner for him and he comes home and doesn't eat it, says he isn't hungry but hasn't eaten at work (from a guy who thinks his throat is cut if he goes 2 hrs without food!). And he is doing NOTHING at home!!! Driving me batty. 😠 I may as well be a single mum at the moment. He also said the other day that he wishes I would hurry up and 'get pregnant properly' (because the m/c wasn't properly??!) but he isn't helping that happen either! Grrr! He says these work hours are going to be like this til after the end of July! I don't know if our marriage will last that long! 😜
We were also planning on going away for a week in July but apparently we aren't doing that now because of his work! I was looking forward to a week away even though it was going to be with his parents who hate me and don't like kids. At least there would be a beach to walk along.
My opk's didn't really change to negative until today. I had one negative 2 days ago but all the others have been positive??! I've always only had about 24hrs of positives before so no idea what's going on. So frustrating. I stupidly did a HPT today too, dumb I know, and of course it was negative.

Sorry, shouldn't vent here but DH is making me so cross! He missed DS5s climbathon and family lunch at preschool today after saying he would try to go, then I email him with some photos from the day and he says he will call DS5 this afternoon, but nope, no call! And now, after 9pm he calls and asks if he is still awake....Ahhh no!! I couldn't call him at all as he is "too busy" and when I try he doesn't answer so I couldn't even get DS5 to call him, but he now hasn't spoken to him all day after such an exciting day at preschool! I'm so angry! How to disappoint a 4yr old 101!
Starting to think not getting pg was all for a reason as I'm not sure another child to DH would even be a good idea right now. 😞 Sorry for being a downer! As you were. 😊
stephk
June 4th, 2014, 09:15 AM
oh mum :( I am so sorry :( and please feel free to vent here about anything. He is acting like such a d1ck, does he have no sensitivity for the fact that he almost left with a work bimbo so shouldnt be working late with one girl if he can help it? What does he do for work if you dont mind me asking? Maybe there is a big stressful period coming up and he is taking it out on you (not excusing it but it could be this? Me and DH can be a bit like this) And your poor DS, he must have felt disappointed and then you have to deal with it. Hope he wakes up to what he is doing.
Re temping, you need a BBT thermometer, I use a digital one, you can get one pretty cheap in a local chemist or order online if you dont want to go to a chemist. You need to leave it on your bedside table so that the moment you wake up, dont move too far, dont get up, dont speak to anyone, just reach for the thermometer and take your temp. I downloaded an app to my phone so just input that each day. You need to take it at the exact same time each day but I dont get up at 515 at the weekend when I can help it so I take my temp and then use a temperature adjuster on WhenMyBaby - Pregnancy Test Calculator, Pregnancy Due Date Calendar (http://www.whenmybaby.com) - alcohol can raise temps and also if you dont get 4-5 hours sleep in a row before taking your temp this can also affect it. But as long as you are aware of this you can disregard the odd questionable temp.
Just had my third session of fertility acupuncture so I am hoping that lengthens my LP this month!
Naughty food day again today I just cant be bothered to stick to the limits today and not eating particularly healthy, pastries, pasta, garlic breads etc. Im going to relax and then get back to it on monday, I need a break from caring about being on 30% fat and 60g protein! I dont know how others manage to do 20% fat and 40-50g protein it would kill me!

Looking at my chart now i have a few temps in there, I think I must have O'ed on saturday, which puts me on 5dpo. Could still be wrong but I know when previously TTC I O'ed the day after a positive OPK (I do realise i have messed with my body since then!)
Trying so hard to ignore all these symptoms which would probably be happening anyway!! I have cramping like I have wind/constipation and felt a little sickly yesterday, nothing much but it was still there annoying me. I told DH last night and said next month if I go on about these symptoms he must remind me that it is normal! Last time I got a BFP 12 days after the positive OPK so I would have been 10dpo..........I know I have to hold out until tuesday but given the weekend I am going to have I will have to test on saturday and be prepared for that BFN...........that is unless I have another short LP and AF shows up in the meantime...

stephk - I hope that "annoying" feeling are good signs!

I know we are out (bd 5 days before ovulation). I guess symptoms are changing slightly for me. Right side of right boob is sore. I have also been getting cramping here and there, same as last time. I even had heartburn for no reason yesterday and today. Strange what the body does when ttc. Last time I had heartburn I was pregnant with my youngest.

I have to break my pact with myself not to test early this month (I'm really NOT feeling a pregnancy vibe at ALL) because DH wants to have a drunken adventure tomorrow night. I'm sure it'll be a BFN, but I have to test to make sure. Sigh. I was planning on holding out to either just before AF is due next Sunday, but seeing as how my pos OPK was 9 days ago, I have to confirm no pink so I can drink without anxiety. atomic sagebrush
June 5th, 2014, 02:32 PM
Do not test 4 DPO. It's just upsetting for no reason and a waste of a test (which some of them are not cheap) because you cannot possibly get a positive test at that point. There are a few people online who test that early but they are people who went high tech and their fertilized egg, sometimes with assisted hatching, was implanted directly into their uterus, so they register pg more quickly than those of us doing it the old fashioned way.

I'm anywhere between 4-8 DPO and DH wants to drink tomorrow night. So, if I actually AM 9DPO by tomorrow, I want to make sure it's a BFN before drinking. I don't think I AM 9 dpo, I think I'm closer to 4 (I'm 8-9 by pos OPK, 4 by calendar). But anyway, I'm not a sadist!!!! The ONLY reason I'm testing is because I have no idea where I really am and don't want to drink if it's pink.

girliedreamz - in the lake....in the lake....oh sorry that was a few days ago hehe.... enjoy the fishing trip and distraction - hope you test when you get back and its a BFP for you!!
Angie if the tests are cheap enough go for it if it helps you to feel better about having a drink but as kitkat says you dont have to go mad - also you dont share a blood supply for the first 6 weeks so a few drinks before a positive test when you are PG are not going to do any harm, but this is all down to personal choice of course. I am in the drink til its pink camp. Im having some prosecco tonight, dont see why I should deprive myself if I might get a BFN next week.
Sorry for anyone reading this in the other thread, but my symptoms are gone today, I did feel very slightly sickly yesterday but then i was much better in the evening so I guess this is down to a normal surge in progesterone. DH has also been sick for a couple of days so maybe I had the fringes of this. When I got out of bed last night to go to the loo I had some kind of stitch pain in that area which made me say 'ow' when I got out of bed. However I do feel out today. If I am out, every day that AF stays away is a bonus just to give me a longer LP and better shot next time. On the cm front I had watery and creamy cm yesterday which suggests that my hormone levels are getting back to normal - 6 months after i came off BCP. One thing thats positive - I can smell everyones coffee but I am sure I would anyway argh.

I've lost any "symptoms" too stephk and am sure in out this month. Any cramps, sharp pains, slight nausea and CM has gone and I've got nothing. I feel nothing that I felt any other pregnancy, including our m/c.
No idea where we are going to go from here. Had a massive fight with DH as he came home to drop DS1 at cadets (I can't cause I'm not security cleared) and then went back to work. I didn't even say anything to him, haven't at all, just kept my mouth shut, but he just started going off at me about "my bullshit" and how he shouldn't have to put up with me!! 😠
Not looking good for trying to convince him to keep TTC as this was our last month trying as it was. He doesn't even really want another baby so that and his attitude, gives me no hope. 😞

sweetdream - you never know a lot of people dont get symptoms, in fact I bet having no symptoms is a better sign than having symptoms if you know what I mean.
TMI - I just went to the loo and had a little spotting on my knickers (typical on the day I am wearing light colour knickers!!) I was cursing whilst I had pee thinking, I am only 6dpo how can AF be flipping coming ALREADY! Then when I wiped there is absolutely no blood at all but I had quite a large amount of EWCM. But it wasnt ultra clear like it is around O, its difficult to describe but it was amost yellowy, almost snotty? but such a pale difference and only noticeable because the toilet paper was white. Sorry for the TMI description. Now I am back at my desk I am having AF pains :(

I hope you guys aren't out :( No one is out out until AF shows her ugly, despicable face. Speaking of ugly and despicable, WTH Mumofsix?! Your husband is being awful to you! Is this a regular thing with him or something new? I'm so very sorry you have to put up with his BS. I think he's got it wrong, it's his BS that YOU are putting up with and you shouldn't have to. Hugs to you, sweetie. I hope he sorts himself out and soon and you can get to the bottom of his issues together.
I have to ask because a number of people have talked about cm....is it a pregnancy symptom? I have had 0 symptoms this month, but had cm last month long after o.
Fingers, eyes and toes crossed for EVERYONE!!!!

Hi angielorna, this is all new from DH (except for a few years ago when he was planning on leaving me for a work colleague 😕), especially the way he is being so dismissive of the kids. He has always found time for the kids, work revolves around all us, not at all the other way around, but now we just all seem to be an inconvenience. Doesn't even say goodbye to the kids. He left to take DS1 to cadets, didn't say goodbye, and a few hours later the kids ask "is Dad back at work again?" When I said yes the look on their faces broke my heart. They literally have seen him for less than 5mins a day this week, and he hasn't said 2 words to them, or any of us, until he went off at me tonight during the five minutes he was home. I don't know what's going on??!? Just glad I have somewhere to vent (although I feel like such a downer).
CM can be a PG sign but not always, so can a lack of CM??!? 😜

June 6th, 2014, 09:32 AM
Vent away, my dear, vent away! You're not a downer and we are here for support! His behaviour certainly doesn't indicate anything positive (IMHO). I hope he pulls his head out of his butt and realizes how incrediably lucky he is to have an amazing wife and such wonderful children. It really bugs me when "adults" allow their "stuff" to affect their children. Ugh.
I'm thinking about you and hoping for a turn around soon.

So sorry about the troubles with your Dh mum. I hope we are wrong but it seems like Dh may be up to something. Or maybe he is going through a life crisis? It could be time to have a talk. He shouldn't be treating your family the way he is. Shame on him. Even if he is taking issue with you it is not right to bring the kids into it. I hope things turn around for the best for you. Big big hugs.

mum i really cannot believe the BS that you have to put up with at home right now. From your H and other family. I am sure that your boys are keeping you going though. Thank God for them. I honestly cannot believe his behaviour, its one thing to be stressed at work and being in a bad mood, but continuing to act in that way and continuing to take it out on you and the kids, well its just not acceptable. Maybe the whole TTC thing is freaking him out, maybe inside he feels partly to blame (even though we all know there is no blame!) Please feel free to rant in here about him or anything else. This is a safe place to say anything. I really feel for you at the moment, I will be praying for you. I hope you dont mind me saying that but if you dont believe in that then it will be good karma/good thoughts I am sending your way.
Dont think it would be implantation this early, not sure if it was spotting either as it has now dried and doesnt look like blood anymore.....weird! Anyway whatever its too early to know anything I must not think about it. Last time I think implantation possibly happened around 7/8dpo. My temp dipped on 7dpo and then when I was getting dressed on 8dpo I had this area of hot red skin which stayed like that all day, I was like WTF (and you know i have been looking out for that constantly this time lol)

SHUT THE FRONT DOOR!!!
LMP - May 18th
POS OPK CD 10- May 27th - DTD that night
AF Due - June 16th
Tested, as planned, this morning so I would feel safe to drink tonight.
The test is freaking positive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
2 dollar store tree tests with SMU/TMU and then a FRER from a 2 hour hold (with liquid intake).
It's faint, but it is THERE. 10 days before my expected period. OMG. I will not be surprised if no one can see it, but I ended up by getting a shot and posting it anyway.
Showed up within 10-15 mins on dollar store, within 3 mins on FRER. I'm still concerned it's an evap (though I know it's improbable). NO symptoms whatsoever.
I take it back. The OPK did NOT lie to me :P
DTD again super early Sun a.m., but it certainly cannot be from that! That would only make me 5DPO.
And I'm rambling because I'm in SHOCK.
Sorry, DH, no alcohol tonight (sucks that I have to tell him because I was hoping to keep it to myself for awhile) BUT I think I'm going to celebrate with dinner out and a big fat prime rib to go with my (somewhat) big fat positive!!!!!
Angie
P.S. I'm super shocked and I'm posting this as it's own thread, so if you see it again, please don't be annoyed at my double posting!!!!

Sorry just noseying around and saw you said you got a pain when you got out of Bed?? That was my sign this time for me where I went F*** I only get that when I'm pregnant!!! I tried frantically everywhere to see if people get that when not pregnant... Nope!! So I wouldn't count yourself out, I think that's a huge sign! Good luck!!
pebmcpd7 - that is such a teeny tiny drop, you are definiely not out yet!!
girliedreamz - in the lake....in the lake....oh sorry that was a few days ago hehe.... enjoy the fishing trip and distraction - hope you test when you get back and its a BFP for you!!

I've been like a desert. NO cm whatsoever. In fact, I thought I didn't o this cycle because I've had nada. Teeny tiny amounts just before my pos opk. That's all.
And, of course, being a chronic POAS....I did it again. Much more visable with a 3 hour hold, no liquids. I'm so freaking excited. I'll try to contain myself but I really did not think there was any hope this month. ZERO symptoms. ZERO.
Which, in of itself, isn't unusual for me, but I've had lots of so-called symptoms other months and BFN. So.......just goes to show that symptoms (or lack thereof) doesn't really mean a thing either way (at least for me).
Angie
(last one I post. I don't want to flood the board with urine soaked sticks!) But I think this line is more visable than the last :)

I went to the theaters last night and a lady who smokes sat in front of me. Every time she would make a movement I could smell the smoke and I felt sick. I tested this morning only because I felt guilty about having a few drinks and got what I deserved - bfn. I know it's way too early at 8 dpo but if I'm going to have a drink rammed down my throat today I needed to test. At least today we are doing a sushi making class for most of the afternoon so not too much booze involved. It's so hard having this weekend at this point in my cycle. Last time Christmas Day was at this point so again I was drinking and it all turned out to be fine. I got my BFP then on New Year's Eve! Luckily I was at someone's house and able to pass off apeltiser as champagne :)

What is a "hens" weekend? Is it like a ladies only trip? :)
My friend is getting married and the hen night is the girls giving the bride a sendoff type party. We are making a weekend of it. Yesterday we met up in a bar for lunch, then went to a hoola hooping class (we organised a stripper at the end - this was what the hen wanted!!), then a cocktail bar for cocktails and games, then dinner then a late night bar. Today we are meeting at lunchtime for drinks then a sushi making class (and eating) and another cocktail bar on the river. I organised most of yesterday so it has been a bit stressful, and I was focused on ensuring my friend had a good time, everyone had a good time, etc etc. And I realised how much that reminded me of the Martha story lol!!! I am never going to have a DD! And that is if I ever get PG. Feeling AF like again I'm sure the witch will be here any day now and I'm scared for what that means for my LP.
By the way I do apologise if any of my alcohol related posts offended anyone, I just have nowhere else to express that I feel guilty about drinking in the 2ww. I know it's probably fine to do it but I'm just the type to feel guilty about anything. And I'm really not in a brilliant state of mind right now. The friend who is staying over told me last night she is concerned about me because I seem to get upset/angry easier than I used to and do I need to talk to someone. I told her it's very hard TTC and to have other pressures as well as this. Even this tells me I have absolutely no chance. Sorry to bring you all down on a Sunday morning, I'm sure I'll snap out of it soon.

And steph, I'm having a few drinks tonight too. Don't feel bad about it at all. So many people who aren't TTC do so many "no's" before they find out they're pregnant and this early I don't think it affects anything. You're not even sharing a blood supply yet. 😊

June 8th, 2014, 06:46 AM
Thanks boysway. Is he such an amazing kid most of the time but when we have run ins, we have big run ins! He was saying how my parents have a right to know everything that goes on in our household and he has a right to tell them and they should know if I "do something wrong" (like ask him to study or turn off the internet or ask him to do something to help out at home) or don't parent "properly" and that as my parents have that right he can and will tell them when he isn't happy with me and what I've done "wrong!". 😠 I couldn't do any more for my kids, DS1 more than anyone! I've spent all running around for him, taking him and picking him up where he needed to be and I'm not perfect, but sure as hell do a better job than my parents and it's like a knife in the heart when he says stuff like he did about them. Especially when it's all I cop from my parents all the time too. He pushed my buttons tonight and I bit back! 😞 And my parents will hear all about it too!! 😕
On a positive note DH has been much better today though, except telling me it's my fault I'm not pregnant as I've obviously got it all wrong with opk's and ovulation and when to DTD and what to do etc....ummm..he is the one who couldn't DTD and I don't blame him! I can't get PG on my own though??!? 😕
Between this with DS1, the week with DH and my parents all the time... and not being able to get a BFP, I just feel like such a failure and disappointment to everyone lately! Can't seem to so anything right for anyone no matter how hard I try. 😞
So much for keeping stress levels low! 😉

Mum I'm so so sorry. He is at that difficult age I guess. I was a right cow to my mum and stepdad at that age, really not proud of it and totally regret it now. He will come round he is just annoyed that he is not getting his own way. Completely understand what a knife that is though :( and your DH sounds like mine with that attitude. They are frustrated that we are not PG yet and taking it out on us. Boysway is right, you have been under too much stress lately and don't deserve it I am so sorry hon.
Thank you for making me feel less guilty. Of course people get PG all the time and don't know it.

Nothing exciting with me either, only CD8 but I do have a dilemma and hopefully you can help me decide!
I am going away on my own for 4 days to visit my sister (lucky me!) and I should o just before I leave but I don't know when to start the every 4 days bd.
so I'm leaving on CD19 and back on CD22. I think I tend to O about CD18. Do I plan to bd on CD18 and therefore count down from that day the every 4 day pattern ?
Or does it not matter when we start bd ? If we start today then the last time we can bd before I go is CD16 which could be about 2 to 3 days before O...
Sorry this feels like a Chinese puzzle! Lol.

Thanks sweet dream. We did dtd last night as I gave DH the choice of the start of the 4 day bd thing and of course he couldn't wait lol. Now I'm thinking we might might have already mess up?!
Fivebabies. I know I don't really understand it all but I conceived my 3 boys with bding every day or every 2 days so I think this is different and might sway pink for us. Who knows? ;-)

sweetdream- Thats a beautiful line, congratulations! So happy for you!
stephk - oooh, I know it's hard to stay optimistic sometimes, but don't count yourself out yet! Your symptoms sounds pretty promising this month! And about alcohol during 2ww - I shared a bottle of champagne day before testing positive this cycle (it was our anniversary). I live more or less like any other weeks and do not skip alcohol (even if i don't drink it as much as before o in order to sway). After I see a line, I go for 0 alcohol though. Just around implant or first week I don't think that any foods that I eat or drink affects the egg. Most people wouldn't even know they are pg before a few weeks later.
Mum - wish I could say something clever and helpful, I hope everything calms down for you soon. You really don't need fights and worrying for all those things now. Hugs!

Beautiful line Sweetdream!!!!!! I'd try in the morning with second morning urine as lots get dark lines then.
Steph-- You're not out yet. Fingers crossed for you still as your symptoms sounded promising!
Lavie-- The highest rates of pregnancy occur with dtd 1 or 2 days before O. So if you typically O on day 18 then I'd make sure you dtd on either CD16 or 17. DTD on O day actually has really low pregnancy rates since it can take up to 12 hours for the sperm to make it to the fallopian tubes and by then the egg can be dead! You want the sperm in the tubes ready and waiting when the egg pops! Good luck!

Hello ladies,
Stephk your weekend sounds good but hard to hear your friend say you are angry...ttc really does take it out of you we all just want it so bad!!! And look lets face it we are all massive marthas!! I started doing shettles and look where I am now!!!!! Don't worry about the booze I drank far too much in 2ww with both boys and they are happy and healthy....
Mum sorry you are fighting with DS1 its a tough age, he will come round ! Sorry your temp has dropped :( cake? Nuttella?
Yah!!!!!!! Sweet dream!!!!!
I just had my attempt so almost in 2ww we DTD standing up because of DH operation !! Tmi but pretty much a ton fell out so it was like I did a jump and dump be amazed if this ends in a pregnancy but happy we could try!!
La vie ditto what the other girls said, I am not super strict on every four days I just dtd about every 4 but sometimes its five or six! Pathetic!!!!! Xxxxx

sweetdream - lovely looking line there :)
Thanks guys for words of encouragement. I feel so unwell today, I have a cold, I have hayfever, feeling completely exhausted (not surprising after the weekend I have just had). How I am going to get through the day I dont know. I am running a workshop for 5 hours this afternoon too, that is going to be really hard! I am feeling slight AF cramps so although the witch isnt quite here yet, its only a matter of time, I know it. So now DH is going to be blaming me again, saying we dont BD enough, I should be eating meat, exercising less, blah blah blah. Once the witch is here I will book another doctors appointment again because the LP is too short. Not that I am holding my breath for them to help me because I still dont have the ultrasound appointment I was promised months ago. Today is only CD24 as well - how to go from 95 day cycle to 24/25 in 6 months is pretty darn weird.
oh and I concieved DS with 4 attempts in fertile window!! Thursday night, saturday morning, Sunday afternoon and monday night. Positive OPK was monday and I O'ed on tuesday.

what does your sway looks like?
We dropped diff stuff every month. when I dropped Vitex my HB got back on LR. he dropped that the month before.
And we were gonna try FR this month if not pg. now I'm still pg with 1 attempt.
And we ttc for 5 months.
If you feel like this now. keep going! hang in there for the next 2 weeks. keep excercizing go for it! this is your month I feel it!
I was beat this month! that's why I'm so happy. after O I couldn't anymore. the Idea of doing it another month made me almost cry!
Girl! you're doing sooo great! go for it!

June 9th, 2014, 05:36 AM
DH is doing nothing to help the sway, but little does he know that cycling to and from work every day does help hehe. He also likes hot baths and showers so on that front its all good but he does nothing else. Snacks constantly, drinks fruit juice, full fat milk and sugary pop constantly, eats packets of ham for snacks, cheese etc. All I am doing is diet (badly) and exercise. As for BD, we BD whenever, I didnt like keeping the military precision every 4 days so it ends up being every 3-7 days and then once at OPK, unless the OPK comes a day after BD if that makes sense.
kitkat - yay 2ww for you - good luck and really hope its your month hon

Hi Ladies!
I've only been on here for a couple of months, so there are many of you I don't know yet, but I wanted to post: I got my BPF this morning! Pretty shocked. I haven't felt any different this month. This was our second month trying and I had all sorts of crazy symptoms that first month, but nothing this month! I took a pregnancy test, as I have a good friend coming to visit and I wanted to make sure I was good to go to drink lots of wine with her. Turns out I'm not! :) As soon as I know gender, I'll fill out my whole plan.

"technically due"? Did you o late this month? I hope she stays away!!! The only "symptom" I've had so far is feeling like AF was coming the day before I got my positive (and here and there since). Technically because I have a consistent 7 day LP BUT I O'd 1 day early this month (no idea why) so if I go by my very usual 27 day cycle then AF would be due tomorrow but then that changes my LP to an 8 day LP.....I was under the impression that LP would be less likely to change...?

Rosie-- I hope you're not getting sick and that it's pregnancy symptoms instead! I'd test as soon as you get your tests! You should for sure get a BFP on a FRER at 11dpo! Good luck!
Fivebabies-- good luck! Sounds promising! When are you testing? Are you taking vitamin b6? That can help lengthen your LP. And your LP can change. My shortest has been 10 days and my longest has been 15 days (I have 52 charts to look back on), but it usually varies between 13-15 days.

Oh, five babies im so sorry. Maybe it'll happen "accidentally ". I was sure my Dh would never, ever cave, but he did. I hope you get another chance!
Rosie! Opks? Just go get the real thing and stop teasing us!!! :P. I hope your boobies and opks are right!

They are coming tomorrow evening!! It took everything in me to not buy an hpt at target today when shopping. Ugh. I'm so desperate I might ask my neighbors if they have one I can borrow.

Rosie you have such strength not to have bought a test today!! Can't wait to see the result tomorrow!
Essnce - sadly it is the real thing, I guess being sick has thrown my temps. All those symptoms I had were probably a result of my body fighting the illness too before it came on fully on Sunday night. My DH does want another baby so it's never a nice conversation when we have failed again because he looks for something to blame and generally it's me (nothing to do with certain lifestyle choices of his of course!)
Well at least tomorrow looks like there will be done BFP news!! I'll stay tuned :)

Stephk, fiveboys : big hug x
Rosie: you are so pg! My OPKs were super positive just before I did a hCG test back in April.

I am so bummed for you Steph. You always have such a positve attitude though and it's endearing. So silly of your Dh to try and blame you. That must be frustrating for you. Are you going to try anything differently next month??

So if my opks aren't quite positive yet will my hpt not work yet?

Just wait Rosie!! I hate this early testing business, I think as hard as it is to wait if you get a positive bfp after your missed period, the more likely it is to stick and I hate to see people witness chemicals that they never would have known about if they just waited! Heartbreaking!!
(But that's just me!)
Go for it if need be, I am excited for you! Fx:)

I just know that the OPKs can also detect the HCG hormone so in theory your test tomorrow should work :-)

I get what you are saying coocoo. Unfortunately I have no clue when my period is suppose to come!!! Because of my miscarriage I don't know my cycle. I am guessing maybe Thursday or Friday but who knows for sure. If it went back to a 28 day cycle then it would be today.

From what I hear, opks typically arent positive before an hpt would be. Does that make sense?

I've just seen online where ladies use opks to watch for gradual darkening which apparently can mean pregnancy?? Guess I will know tomorrow evening or Thursday morning.

Oh, yes, I've read that. But basically, if your opk is pos, yoy there's enough hcg for a hpt to be pos. That's what I meant.

This is what I've heard and was my personal experience as well. My hpt was positive at 10dpo with DS2 before my opk was positive. My opk wasn't fully positive till AF was due.

peb - nooooo I am really sorry to hear, I thought for sure you were PG.
Rosie - cant wait to see your BFP today!!!
Ladies, thank you so much for your kind words and its really great to hear that I am coming across as positive when a lot of the time I am feeling anything but! Not really sure what I can change to be honest, will stick with the 14-16 hour daily fast, will stick with the 6 day a week gym routine and will stick with the diet overall but I think I will loosen it a bit, or at least give myself permission to. I will be aware of my personal guidelines (50-60g protein, 30% fat, 1800-2000 cals) but if I go over one or more on any given day thats going to be cool from now on. Keeping weekends for cheating. Will stick to BD when we feel like it and then again at pos OPK so if thats more than one attempt so be it. In fact this time we had 2 attempts in the fertile window and were unsuccessful so I dont think that matters with us.
If I fail this month it will be less of a disaster because I am bridesmaid on 19th July and at least i will be able to join in with the drinking - of course i will still be trying and want to be PG but there is at least a bit of a silver lining if not. DHs reaction isnt going to be worth it though :(

Yogi I can only see a smiley too ?!
Rosie: is your evening my morning? (I'm in the uk) can't wait to hear from you!!!
Stephk, I don't think you can drop much really, but as you said, perhaps just loosen even a bit more...it's really demoralising when you get AF after so much 'hard work', then you get over it and come to the phase of 'every hope is possible' just before O - like I am now- then a killer 2ww with symptom spotting and then crash....but it's not always crash as we can witness on this very thread...chin up Stephk, you are doing great xx

Thanks Lavie. I actually feel a lot better now I have just given myself permission to eat what I want. I am used to the daily fasting and no snacking and I am used to the meals I am eating so I think even if I am over on something on any given day I dont really care any more. It was the same with the BD every 4 days it felt restrictive, military precision so decided to BD whenever, and its not like we have the energy to BD too often anyway so its all good! Now all I need is DH to stop acting like a complete tool and it will all be fine....
peb - so sorry the witch found you :(

Hi ladies I am also in the 2WW so thought id post and say hi! I am only 5 DPO and I've had some pinky/brown discharge (Sorry if TMI) no other symptoms and I think too early for implantation bleed so not really sure what that might be? Any ideas? My AF is due next Fri 20th so I've got a lonnnngg wait! It's only my first month TTC so I'm not used to the waiting and symptom spotting! All you ladies seem patient I'm not sure how good I will be as I'm really impatient! Good luck to you all! Its so nice to be able to post to other people who understand! X
