As long as you've gained 3-5 pounds that is great! It's overall better nutrition and more protein that's important. There has been successful sways with no dairy. If you have dairy, make sure it's full fat!

Midwest_Complex

Dairy is actually really recommended on the boy diet. Most girl moms eat low fat yogurt or lots of icecream so that is how that rumor came into effect...but eating dairy esp full fat and lots of cheeses etc have LOTS of protein.

Really interesting to hear how you're all doing on the HE. I've gained a few pounds - but not too much at all. I'm a lot more muscular! I've enjoyed weight lifting (quite fun feeling like one of the guys at the gym!) but I do feel bulkier than I'd like to be.

I'm going to start my clomid one day this week - probably friday, but sooner if I get too impatient. This means I'll be attempting quite soon. I'm very nervous! Anyone else nervous? I've decided I'm not going to find out the gender until birth because I don't want to experience disappointment when I KNOW FOR SURE I will adore my baby whichever the gender.I'm just going to do my best sway and trust that love will see me through whatever happens when the time comes.

jmomof3girls

Tm29-Yes, before I decided to wait I was getting very nervous. I'm glad you're able to attempt this cycle though. I promise you will be very close to your baby regardless of gender. My DD3 is the one who loves me the most. She's the most affectionate child by far. I'm happy I got each of my 3 girls just how they are. They're amazing and I wouldn't trade them for any boys.

Business woman- try to eat between 90-120 grams of protein every day. Eat protein and carbs together at every meal and snack! It keeps your blood sugar at stable levels and that's great for ttc a boy!

Hi ladies,
Dropping in to say hello and to see how everyone is doing :) I am honestly trying not to synptom spot but I have been feeling somewhat strange as of yesterday. Today mostly but I was very nauseated yesterday with some mild cramping but today the cramping is a bit stronger and my boobies are tingly and with some minor stabbing pains. I hope this is a good sign. Is it possible to start feeling symptoms as early as 5 dpo?

Hi girls,

I am 3 days late and still getting BFNs. I think i ovulated late and its causing my period to be late.

We are about to buy a home (yay!) Once we sort through that and get moved in, we will start TTC again. I really hope I'm not pregnant now.

I def hope you all get your boys and I am eager to peak in every now and then to get some tips. Take care ♡

September 18th, 2014, 04:22 AM
Hello all, I hope all sways are doing great!! especially people waitng on their bfp's!! So exciting!!!!!!!
I just wanted to say not to get too worried about what your ph was doing :) This can be affected by what your last meal was ie lemon water and has been disproved in regards to swaying, I think theres a thread on it somewhere I'll see if I can find it! Its just one more thing that starts to get people all stressed about unnecessarily ok :)
http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gender-swaying-general-discussion/11684-ph-pickle.html

Yogi its definitely possible to start feeling symptoms at 5dpo, look out for heart palpatations and ridiculous bouts of unnecessary forgetfulness aswell, these can be caused by the progesterone surge as baby sends out its 1st wave on implantation, whether it sticks or not will be another matter but it could well be trying :)

tm29, reading your post on your body change is brilliant! I was lucky to have 2 succesful blue sways and on both occasions I was commented on about how much more muscular I was looking, the kids were calling me 'Hench' lol!! I hope it means the same in all countries lol  So ladies really try and boost those biceps even if its just doing random lifts of heavy objects around the house, one thing I am doind at the minute (even though I am not ttc atm) is when I dop the kids off for school I have 2 lil ones in the double pushchair and I lift the back wheels off the ground when I walk home, its unoticable what I'm doing to other people but its a good heavy lift, it all helps!!

Hi ladies...
Whats up?

So I have stupid question

Whats the Ion ?
How does it work?
For swaying blue or what?

atomic sagebrush
September 20th, 2014, 06:14 PM
Ions don't work for gender swaying, and when TTC a boy it is very important to stay away from them because the "positive" ions that are supposedly said to sway blue are actually harmful to health and may raise risks of cancer. It is ok for pink swayers to use "negative" ions for TTC a girl because those are beneficial to health (even though I do not believe them to sway in any way) but for blue, it is not a good idea at all.

September 22nd, 2014, 03:15 AM
Hi ladies! So I finally got the wheat grass it is frozen ****s. How often am I suppose to take this from Af-O? once a day, twice a day, three times??

I guess I'm just trying it this cycle to see how I react to it as I have never had it before.

business.women - I was very dry too. last cycle I used Algae Dha (vegetarian option for fish oil), I also took Fertile CM AF-O and I everyday drink water with lemon in it at least 3 times daily. I only drank green tea AF-O 2 times a day. So in this last cycle I got lots of EWCM! All of a sudden.

Also I had green tea a couple of months back but it dried me up and I had green tea at tim hortons and that day I got EWCM. I bought their tea bags and it has lemon oil in it. So I don't take it during breakfast because warm lemon water can lower blood sugar so I have it after lunch and after dinner.

The first green tea I had couple months back had other stuff in it that is why it was not working. So make sure you check the label.

The only thing that is missing is PH now. I check my EWCM's PH and that is acidic. But Atomic said not to worry about PH because she had her son at a PH of 5?

Wish you lots of luck in your sway!

Whats the wheat grass for?

Uh im very concerned about the EWCM ، i used to have alot
I dunno what happened now!

Im expecting AF in 5-6 days and i will try cough medicin + pure grean tea without mint +grapephot
Hops it works !!

Thnks 3gmom
Wish you luck too ❤❤

September 23rd, 2014, 02:50 AM
business.woman, you might want to check with atomic regarding the green tea with mint. Obviously I don't know how much mint it continues but, I am not 100% sure if mint is suitable for swaying blue.

3GMom, I take Wheatgrass tablets around O time.

I drink green tea with lemon. I'm in Australia and I buy Twinings brand Green tea and Lemon, it's pretty tasty. I often put in a squirt of honey.

Hi everyone. Just had a post-clomid scan and it looks like I'm on course for our attempt this week. So relieved!

Anyone know anything about DH taking robitussin too? I'm taking it but I wondered if men ought to.

3GMomPraying4Boy
September 23rd, 2014, 04:19 PM
Men can take robitussin it prevents their stuff from being clumpy.

Now with that said always read the labels!!! The product you want most is Guifenesin in the robitussin. Some have more some have less.

In Canada I found that Benelyn had more guiefenesin it was 200mg vs 100mg in the robitussin. In the U.S. they have mucinex tablets that contain only guiefenesin of 400mg which has given me better results.

Green Tea with lemon in it is best check the labels on that.

Atomic said couples who used wheat grass had good results I'm not sure if that is to increase the PH.

I got some this week. It is frozen ****s of it and the very next day my PH has gone up a bit which has never happened for me. You gotta just swig it like a shot a tequila and quickly drink something else. Tastes like fresh cut grass....lol

Again I'm just trying the sway. Maybe a moderator can add something if I'm wrong.

I don't drink the green tea all the time. I just do it 2 days after my period finishes until O. 2 times a day.

I think that's what I'm going to do with the wheat grass 2 times day. AF-O.

business.woman
September 24th, 2014, 12:35 AM
Boysway

Well then i'd better drink green tea with no addition
To be in the safe side

Wow dh should take that too
Cuz i have noticed that his stuff became clumpy so quickly
Thnx for the info ✌

Hello again :)
Just popping in my thoughts on the wheatgrass, I did use this for my boys, I had the powdered kind which I would take a teaspoonful of each and every morning. I think I'm right in saying that the wheatgrass is a fantastic boy supplement as it is a super nutrient boost, and our intention as Trivers Willard (TW) boy swaying is to tell our bodies that nutrition and condition is good and we are top of the food chain! So the daily extra nutrition from this is a great foundation for the theory. I would want people to take it daily or every other day really just to make sure at no point the body thinks 'uh oh! that great nutrition is gone, we better be careful on what gender to conceive!' itms :) I take a mixed grass daily now (not ttc) and I can honestly say that within an hour of taking it I can feel the physical and mental difference, much more energy and concentration, so it helps me now and when swaying to then start the littel physical extras which add to the sway aswell, like little bursts of lifting throughout the day and not craving my sugary crash food! Think nutrition and condition for blue!!!!

Lately,

I've been feeling so aggressive. I don't know if my filter finally left but I get into heated arguments with people such as with my child's teacher. The teacher suggested that my daughter has an attention disorder because she won't sit still and focus on the subjects, she also stated that she is a distraction to her class. My daughter is 4, I did homeschooling until it was time for Pre-k and in the classroom she gets bored. I was so angry that the teacher was so quick to suggest an attention disorder instead of learning my child. Besides all of this, I just have been so aggressive, I've been hounding nurses at clinical when my patients need help and they do not listen to them, I've been arguing in debates on facebook and the list goes on and on.

Is there anything else besides exercise that I can do? I feel like I could get into the boxing ring with Rhonda Rousey!

Feeling aggressive is good testosterone and boy sway, right? I've been wondering if I should play a game or something competitive. I know a woman with 4 boys who does martial arts, but I can't see myself doing that. Maybe I just need to get mad at some people? lol (imo, I don't think a 4 year old should be expected to sit still! Give that teacher a copy of a good new book I just read: "A Moving Child Is a Learning Child")

Would fresh wheat grass work? I have some seeds, but I haven't tried it. What brand of powder do you recommend?

Hello! I have 3 girls and we really want a boy! I'm just now starting to read everything as far as the diet and only dtd once at ovulation. The diet concerns me because I eat maybe 1600 calories a day and love to be active. I hardly use salt on my food and don't really snack. This will be tough! So when should I start this diet? Does it need to be a month or 2 month thing? I don't want to gain a lot of weight. Also is it really best to only dtd once the day of ovulation or maybe a few times the last couple days? Thank you all and good luck!

Hi cmay23 - I felt exactly the same way as you about the diet. I was so intimidated! But I've done it for almost 7 weeks and I honestly do not look like I've gained much weight. I'm the same dress size - just quite a bit more muscular. It's not the way I want to look, but it's absolutely fine. No one has noticed. I was eating around 1600 per day and with the increase in weight lifting x4 per week I've eaten 2,500 per day. It really is possible - your body will thank you for it. My blood sugar hasnt been this good EVER. Good luck - take it a day at a time and you'll see it's fine. Full fat dairy is heaven!

Business Woman,
I do ! On the third day since Ive used opk and when I used to temp, my ovulation always occurred two days after. I.think it may be sooner because this chemical I experienced recently makes me belong it may be sooner because I bd the night before my pos opk and that's how I was aboard to get mu positive. I always bd thr day after the first opk because I did not want to bd to early. How about you? How long after do you ovulte?

Yay for your attempt coming up :D Wishing you bfp sticky thoughts :)

I am 9 dpo. Sore bbs since yesterday. Sore all over, last few cycles were only sore at the sides. I have a lot cramping today, in particular this afternoon. I'm hoping these are good signs for this cycle. Lots of going to the toilet today to when I haven't had a huge amount to drink. I was sooo close to buying a pack of frer but, changed my mind when I ran into a work mate and then my Mum while I was down the shops. I did buy 50 hpt's from Ebay (Fertility2family brand) but, deliberately chose a seller that would take a while for the parcel to get to me. The should arrive Tuesday next week. I was thinking of testing on Saturday though. I see 1111 a lot and Saturdays date (here) will be 11.10.14. I'm hoping it will bring me luck :D

My temp finally went up nice and ff gave me crosshairs today! Yes, I did use a digital opk and got the smiley face but as you see my temps didn't go up afterwards and actually went down first. Sorry, tm! Even if everything goes right, you still only have a 20% chance each cycle. There are other things you can try. Last cycle was a flop for us, so this time we tried Preseed. I don't know if it worked yet, but I'll know by next week!

Thanks sageviolet and business.woman and Jana - so, so much appreciated. I was on clomid 50 last time. My dr says he thinks I could do it without - but Atomic thinks I'll neutralise the pink effects of clomid with diet/pre-seed/robitussin. I 'm really undecided and I HAVE TO DECIDE TODAY! I could risk not taking clomid but I'm afraid I won't ovulate without it. Then I'll have to take it the next month anyway. Ugh. The dr did say I could choose either way. He says I don't need the clomid, but this is my first aF in 5 months after stopping BF my daughter so I don't have total confidence in my body!

Anyone? What would you do? Risk not O'ing at all this month? But avoid possible pink effects of clomid? As Atomic says, if clomid really swayed a lot, people would take it just to guarantee a girl.

jmomof3girls
October 10th, 2014, 12:03 PM
It depends on how fast you want to get pregnant. If you're in a hurry, I would take the Clomid. If you're willing to give yourself a few months to try without it, I would probably do that first. If I was you, I would give it a try naturally 1 more month naturally and if I got a bfn I would try the Clomid. You can balance out the Clomid with your boy sway tactics! Good luck.

True Blue
October 10th, 2014, 12:22 PM
I read here a lot without posting but tm I just wanted to say give your body a chance, there is nothing to say you won't ovulate next month :) I understand it's your first O since BF'ing but your body may well be back on track now. Try one more month and if you don't ovulate try the Clomid then.

tm29
October 10th, 2014, 03:37 PM
Hi Jana and True Blue. My DH agrees with you. He actually felt very strongly. So, we're going to try without the clomid.
I really hope my body is working normally now!

Super basic question. I have never used opk except after clomid when I had to test 3 days after I stopped the pills. Do I start testing as soon as AF is finished? I'll find the answer somewhere if you don't have the time for such basic q's! I'm VERY anxious about opk. After clomid I went straight from empty circle to steady smiley - and I still don't believe it was right. All very anxiety provoking.

Thank you so much for the support and input - I really value it.

True Blue

Hi tm I would start using opks from CD8 :)

I've read to bd every 2 to 3 days and at positive opk you bd basically three times. Once that night or following morning you first see your positive. The following morning and at night the same say. The more the marrier. I know what you mean with AF. I usually ovulate by cd 16 but I had a chemical last month and im still waiting to see my positive. Almost anything can throw a cycle out of wack. From my previous experience I know green tea and certain supplements can do that..Good luck to you too!.Hope you ovulate soon 😊

Tm29, yes, you absolutely have a chance! Did you know some ladies catch the first egg and never have af return because of breastfeeding? I actually know someone who had this happen and didn't realize the surprise was in there until she was 6 or 7 months along! And the breastfed baby was only around 3 months old at the time conception must have happened. I am still breastfeeding my 2 year old, but af came back at 8 months. I've been monitoring my cycles and all is normal now. I had to take B6 to get my leuteal phase long enough to sustain a pregnancy. If you're having trouble, it could be the lp length, and I don't think Clomid affects that does it? I thought it affected egg maturation? Also, I personally start opk testing at cd9. I tried internet cheapies, but they're so hard to read and will definitely stress you. I recommend the Clearblue digital regulars (not Advanced) that give you a smiley face. I used them with fmu. And how is your cm quality? You might need some supplements like the cough medicine or try some Preseed. If only we could wish to be pregnant and have it happen instantly! Sometimes I desire that and sometimes I think maybe things are better this way anyway.

As far as swaying goes not that I am aware of. Once the egg is fertilitzed the gender is already determined. In other words by the time implantation occurss usually 10dpo the gender of the baby is already in its dna.

I have put my sway off for a few reasons. I'm starting to think I'm making up excuses to not sway right now  this will be my last baby and although I would love another girl, I'm afraid I'll never get the boy I deeply desire. I think I'm chickening out. I'm lame

Yes, I think you're right. I love being a girl mom and would always welcome another but it this is my last chance! I wouldn't be sad if I had another daughter but I might be sad if I never had a son. Also, the thought of 4 kids is scaring me in general!

I'm in the same boat with you girls!
I have quit smoking for 1 month now and my next step is to remove the Mirena IUD but haven't done that yet, though I originally planned to do it beginning of October...
My biggest worry is the 3rd c-section though, not so much the gender outcome.
Here VBAC is not something the doctors do. They are strongly opposed to it

AF showed up today. :-(
My cycles are getting shorter. The last one was 25 days (lp 12) and this one was 24 days (lp 11). I don't remember if it was this board or another one where ppl were talking about the boy sway making cycles shorter. Any suggestions? I'm concerned my lp won't be long enough to sustain a pregnancy and I'm thinking my progesterone is low. What can I do?

Mama- I think you should be ok (I hope) I've heard c-sections are very painful!

It's not so much the pain, this sets in couple of days after birth when the meds wean off.
My main concern is the operation itself eventhough medically the doctors say that even 4 c-sections are safe.
I had some bleeding during my first c-section and ever since, it has been something I fear.
But my desire for my baby boy overcomes this fear and I also have some consultations to help me deal with it. Try to work on positive thinking :bluecheer:

Hey Ladies,

Anyone having any symptoms dpo yet? Mine are crazy and I hope I'm not getting my hopes up. I don't know what dpo I am because I never got a +OPK but I am writing the symptoms down. I have a hunch that I ovulated either the 7th or the 8th because on the 11th I started my symptoms. On the 11th, my right leg was super achy which happened after my BFP with DD, the 12th-14th major heartburn which I never have, a little nausea here and there but not as extreme like with DD, my gums were bleeding which never happened with DD.

Right now I don't know if it's nursing school or not but I am dying to go to bed.

Thanks for the tips. I asked her about the ayurvedic herb shatavari in the chat box and she says no, not enough research. I found a great sticky thread in the ttc girl forum on raising progesterone through diet and learned B6 can sway boy. Hooray! I've been feeling like I was cheating by taking it, so I was taking low doses from af to o, but now I'm going to go for it! Hopefully this and vitamin C will get me a bfp. If my cycle is still wacky next month, I've ordered some vitex, but I will try the increased B6 and C route this cycle.

Regarding ebola, it just shows how dangerous bad hospitals are. There were 2 or 3 hospitals that treated patients just fine. Now this one in Texas totally messed up, sent the sick guy home, exposed the workers, etc. and things are a mess. It's like anything else, there are good and bad options. I just hope the good hospitals and sensible people outweigh the bad and ignorant.

Thanks Jana, yogi and Boysway - I really appreciate it. We BD twice yesterday just in case - you're right Jana! - but we apparently need to be careful to only BD once today because if it is a false pos and I O later this week, then we'll end up having done a compressed version of FR!

Yogi - my cm is kind of ewcm, but it's never VERY stretchy and ew-ish - there's just more or less cm/moisture if you see what I mean. I don't know about cp. Will find out what it's meant to be like and check. That's a good idea.

This has added another layer of stress! I actually felt really down yesterday after the huge relief of getting a +opk. Weird anti-climax (no pun intended). DH finds that preseed really reduces sensation so it all takes ages and is tiring and TBH the anxiety over the sway and ttc removes ALL romance/pleasure.

But of course the extra pounds and all the stress will all be so, so worth it for a bfp.

Yogiandboo I have tried checking out cp and (TMI) it's very high and far back and not hard but not soft like either. I remember the posterior cervix being a thing that was mentioned when my daughter was born so I think that's normal. Ugh. Totally confused.

Wish I knew the answer to this one. I would assume you count it the way you count days of your cycle. If you get aF at night, then you count the next day aS CD1 - at least my dr does! Hoping those are super early pg symptoms... FX for you.

My situation is SO confusing. Have learnt about cp (thanks yogiandboo!) and it's high but not soft. But every wondfo comes out positive. If the cervix is not completely soft does that mean you are not fertile?!

Thank you SO much to all of you for the congratulations. I am ridiculously happy! So nice to read your kind words.

Sageviolet - the implantation bleed was absolutely as heavy as AF. It was bright red to begin with - and then I'm not sure how it changed because I used tampax. But it was heavy enough to require tampax. It's possible I was pg with multiples and I lost one. It's possible that I'm pg with twins and therefore it was an extra heavy bleed. Who knows?! Anyway, I am evidence of the fact that you can get a BFN on CD12, then get what appears to be AF and still be pregnant. Ridiculous. I've been going crazy getting all these weird opk results! Thank goodness yogiandboo mentioned cp or I'd have been exhausting poor DH all weekend!
