CD1 again for me. I expect I'll O between the 5th and 10th again, though being off the Vitex over a week could delay things further. Should I go back on or stay off?
XX, the concert near me has a VIP option. So I'm for sure getting it and going on Saturday. As for Friday, I will try to do that as well. There's no VIP option in Munich, though I can buy stadium seats for a bit extra. It's an oval shaped olympic stadium. Any idea what seats would be best? I've never been in a stadium for a concert. If you search ticketmaster.de for Rockavaria in May 2015 you can see the seating plan. Greyed out is already taken, blue is available. Or if that's a hassle I'll link you from my laptop, my tablet doesn't do popups.
I just read your last post in the Dec 2WW thread, how scary about the seizures! I had a mini-stroke on the Ortho Evra patch so I am convinced hormonal birth control is evil. For many other reasons, too. Let's hope off everything your body returns to its normal, healthy, fertile state.

Maiden- I would say D1-I1 would be good. Make sure that it is not on the upper levels too much, because it makes it too hard to see what is happening on stage. Basically, in stadiums level 1-3 are good, but any thing higher you will need binoculars.
GL, I am excited for you!!!

Oh, I prefer to face the stage. I have had seats off to the sides before and have been disappointed. I would rather have side stage facing seats though than to have seats too high up.
Hope this helps!!

So sorry you girls didn't get you Bfp last month... I hope to join you in the jan tww. Not sure where I am in my cycle since my mmc 2 weeks ago. I feel like I am having ovulation symptoms this week. Not ttc until my first complete cycle, so I may be more of a feb tww candidate.... But I may hang here with you all for the time being.
Maiden- I have seen Madonna several times, once floor, once facing the stage but in the uprights and this last time we were on the sides and could see everything going on behind the stage ads well as on stage, that was pretty good it was like seeing two different shows! The amount of work that goes into those productions is amazing! I love muse too, never seen them in concert though, my cousin has a band in St. Louis and they got to have a jam session with them a few years back. That's my two cents:)

I am pretty certain that I will not be able to conceive until my FSH comes down. I got my results back yesterday and it was 45.4, which was higher than last month! Waiting for AMH to come back. We are perplexed, because DS1 is 4, DS2 is 18mo, I conceived them without problems, I get positive opks every month, my LP is 12-14 days, and I have NO other symptoms. The RE does NOT believe I am in menopause, like my FSH would indicate. She said it does not come about that quickly, and I would have had trouble conceiving my boys. She believes there is something else going on, since I have no symptoms of anything other than not getting pregnant. She wants me to see her partner who specializes with strange cases.
I am going to stick to the fertility diet, exercise, use opks (to make sure I am still getting a surge), and folic acid. As far as ttcing goes, we will just not use protection. I will not get a BFP until this gets worked out, and I need to take this off the table. I just want to connect with DH without getting my hopes up for nothing.
Thanks for listening and GL to everyone. Maybe there will still be some baby dust left for me when we get to the bottom of this.

tarasue, I hope your body starts gearing up to O soon if it isn't already. I'm glad to see you back in the saddle. And thank you for the advice! My cousin was the lighting expert for Tina Turner for years, so I know a bit about the amazing production that goes into these shows. But I think I will probably prefer NOT to see behind the scenes, I like my illusions. An excellent point you brought up, though! I am super jealous of you seeing Madonna, she was my very first favourite artist and I still adore her. I have ALWAYS wanted to see her live, more than any other artist. Let's hope she keeps putting out albums!
XX, I'm so sorry to hear that your FSH is still so high, and how frustrating that you don't really know why. Is there anyway to suppress it, I wonder? Your plan sounds like a good balance to me. Watch, once you stop trying it'll happen...:p
I am back on Vitex since it arrived yesterday, I don't want to have delayed O this month and last time I went off Vitex that's what happened. I'm really hoping my 6 days off doesn't screw with anything. And I'm going to try exercising (just walking) since I feel healed enough now for that. Plus maybe some more hardcore intermittent fasting. I'd like to lose 5kg/10lbs, for my sway and also to see how my post op body looks at that weight.

Sorry to hear about your trouble XX. Friends of mine also had trouble getting pregnant and when they did she often miscarried. They saw several doctors but nobody saw anything out of the ordinary. They were advised to just keep trying which they did and eventually they had their healthy baby. A girl offcourse.
Sometimes it's just like that apparantly without a reason
Ik hope it's the case for you too and I guess it will be! You have such positive attitude!

Thank you Blue-Blue-Pink and Maiden, I am in a much better place. I am thankful I am seeing an RE that is very knowledgeable. I am going to keep the ttc girl philosophy going and leave the rest up to God. I know one thing- my two boys are the greatest gifts that I have been given, and they make me happy everyday. If they are all I am meant to have, well that ain't so bad! I am going to sit back, enjoy my family, and have fun everyday while I wait for the next step(s).
I will keep an eye out to see when you ladies get your BFP's

Xx- sorry for being ignorant, but what us fsh?
My hcg tests came in today. I took one just to see if it still comes up positive, and it did:(. Very faint, but definitely a line.... It's an awful feeling, I didn't expect to get so upset from it. Seeing a positive pregnancy test, but knowing there is no baby. I have never wanted a negative test so bad in my life:/.
Does my hcg level have to be back to 0 for my body to ovulate? These tests are super sensitive, they show positive at 10 hcg.

FSH is follicle stimulating hormone. When it is elevated, above 10, it means the body is working real hard to release an egg. Also, it can mean there are few eggs left. We don't think this is the case with me, since I have my two boys that are still so young, and I didn't have a problem conceiving them. I don't quite fit the mold typically seen with high FSH, because I get regular periods, get positive opks, have a LP of 12-14 days, and no symptoms of perimenopause.
We'll see. Waiting for AMH to come back to see if I have good eggs left. FX!!!!
Praying your HCG levels come down quickly Tarasue! If I can't get pregnant, I want all you ladies ttcing to so you can give me your left over baby dust! I need all the help I can get!!!

XX, I got seats in A1, row 24 (lowest row w/ 2 seats together), seats 6&7 (closer to stage side of row). In my past experience with seats at a concert, there were a bunch of empty seats lower down & once the show started I walked down and snagged them. So hoping I can do that, then sell my tix to people for the other 2 days. And I got VIP tix for the festival near me, too. Set me back a bit but I am very excited!
Now what to do for NYE...thinking maybe clubbing in Berlin? Or somewhere in the Netherlands? I feel like I should make the most of my post op & pre pregnancy body while i can. Plus i can troll for potential sperm donors. :D I wish I could go to Sydney, or London, or even NYC (would be nice to speak English again, it's not easy hitting up men for sperm with imperfect German!), but still waiting on my renewed passport so I can't leave the EU, blah.
So, fun topic while we wait to O. If you were a single, childless, widowed woman of wealth, who would you choose as your sperm donor? Scenario 1, you can pick any man on the planet no matter how famous, married, or gay. Not that we are assuming sex will happen. Scenario 2, the real life way, via websites & friends & chance encounters, no sperm banks - must involve meeting in person. What traits would you look for, which would be dealbreakers?
(Note: being extremely picky, or discriminating as I prefer to call it, makes my search difficult. I have yet to meet my ideal donor, so I'm just going with 'acceptable' at the moment, unless/until I find someone better. )

I agree about personality...I like gentle men, too. Very interesting that it comes out in the kids. I feel like no matter what I should avoid anxious types as I have enough anxiety myself! I also have a height + leanness obsession. I should go to Prague - Czech has the most beautiful people .(both sexes) of any country I've visited. But I haven't been anywhere in Scandinavia, for the record!
XX, you're worrying about the high FSH? Surely that can be fixed. Maybe it had to get worse before getting better? What isomer of inositol were you taking?

Thanks for helping me stay positive. I was taking myo-inositol. It has a short half life, but not sure about how quickly it takes your hormones to readjust when discontinuing it.
It just figures that I am in the best shape of my life, I have a wonderful support system, I have fixed areas/relationships, my whole operating system has had an overhaul from the LE diet, and now I CAN'T get pregnant. WTH?! I swear Murphy's Law always has to rear it's ugly head.

How long after had your test been sitting when you took this picture. I only ask because after my mc I was still getting positive hcg but they would show up about 10 minutes after I tested. I was getting weekly blood draws also, so I knew where my levels were.
Your opk is not positive yet but I would for sure keep testing:) it took weeks for my hcg to leave my system. But everyone is different.

QueenB3blue
December 30th, 2014, 12:20 PM
Your opk will pick up the hcg in your system. Giving you a false positive. I would keep testing with your hcg test until you get a negative. Atomic has reassured me a couple of times that you can't ovulate until your hcg is really low. I think she said close to 5.
I was a nervous wreck thinking I would miss my o also. But if you are still spotting chances are your lining isn't built up enough:)
Best Wishes!!

December 30th, 2014, 12:29 PM
Well there is the hcg trigger shot that people take to make them ovulate. So I think it is possible. I have know idea what level it is:-/
Just remember your hormones are wacky now! I think it is even possible for your body to 'gear' up to o after a mc then decide it is not the right time. I went through a lot of hcg and opk test. The weekly blood draws helped also. My last draw was 8.8 then 3 days later I got my +opk.

Hi tarasue. I just wanted to mention my sister got pregnant two weeks after her miscarriage. I feel like it depends on many things. For me, looking back on the last few days before I started bleeding with my miscarriage, I had some signs that now I chalk up to the loss. I felt "off" and really just not pregnant about 3 days before the spotting began. I feel like the pregnancy failed way before I had any bleeding so maybe that contributed to lower Hcg levels and early o? Makes sense in my head anyway. As soon as the baby doesn't have a heart beat the circulation stops between mom and babe and so the levels would begin to drop. That's is my theory anyway.

I am hoping my cysts from last month resolved nicely but I'm afraid they haven't bc of the migraines I've been getting (again). I missed the damn testing window on my CBFM today (first CD, CD10, that I start testing) and it looks like I may already be at high looking at the tester. Im hoping I don't O really early! Oh and welcome bre, good luck conceiving a little boy. Lots of blue dust around here!
I forgot to say, I have been intermittent fasting (not completely fasting, but every other day I eat only around 300 cals, then I eat about 1800-2000 çals on my eating days). It's the fastest way for me to lose weight and it helps my pain, improves my mood and energy, plus I think it sways pink. I started fasting on CD2 so it's been over a week now - the first week is the hardest - today is the first fasting day I feel up to complete fasting, so we'll see how it goes! I have a lot of experience with IF but never while doing the LE as well, but I'm hoping I'll be able to stick with it.

This confused me?? I have been on vacation for a few days and don't know what this is in response to?
I have about the same timeline as you 2boys. I think I had my dnc a few days before you, it was dec. 12. I didn't have opk tests with me in vacation, but going off cm and cp I think I ovulated this last Monday. Lots of cramping that day too. We are waiting a full cycle before ttc, we did dtd that morning, but dh pulled out. I am kinda nervous:/. My ob said just to wait two weeks after the dnc before ttc again, so we had the go ahead from her.
I haven't been doing anything as far as swaying this past couple weeks, so if for some crazy reason a sperm met egg, the only thing I have working for me is a recent miscarriage. I am getting back on track today! Doing my cardio as I type :). And it feels SO good to sweat again!!! Working out is my therapy, being on vacation and not doing anything physical takes a toll on my mental!
2boys I wish you the best of luck on catching your first egg! I went back and read some of the posts from last sept/oct/nov and we have a lot in common I think. I have a 2 & a 3 yr old boys as well.
Xx- I hope your situation gets better, how frustrating and not fair. Don't give up just yet. See a specialist and hopefully they have some answers.
Happy New Year Everyone!!! May 2015 be full of beautiful new babies!!!

Hi tarasue. I had just read your post about being 2 weeks post miscarriage is all. I was getting caught up as I wasn't expecting to be back here again:(
I am really hoping I get a BFP. It will help me heal and move forward after my loss. I can see why you chose to wait- I feel like I was 50/50 on it and my husband tilted me to do it. He just wants me to be happy and he wants our girl as much as I do, at least I think that sometimes! Probably just so I shutup about it. Lol.
I have cheated a lot during my short return to LE diet and I am glad for it, it's easier on the soul. I was just returning to my running program about 3 weeks before I miscarried and I miss that endorphin rush, but not enough to commit to the cardio I did for swaying. I just can't do it. As soon as I get a BFP I am back to the treadmill! Enjoy your sweat!

XX, are you serious? Most people think I'm crazy for IFing...you really know about it and have done it? I am astounded! Maybe you're my lost twin. ;)
2boys, I'm sure your attempt yesterday can still catch the egg, but I would attempt again in 3 days (but NO sooner) to cover your bases.
tarasue, I hope everything works out. I do believe miscarriage sways strongly pink.
My CBFM is being weird, it isn't asking for me to test and I can't figure out why. I reset it bc as usual I forgot to hit the button to start a new cycle when AF came. So it thinks I'm on CD7 but I'm on CD11. But why won't it let me test? Argh! I can't tell from looking at the tester stick today if it's Low or High. Yesterday I'm pretty sure it was Low but again, I can only guess visually which I know isn't ideal.
I am also using the CB advanced OPK for the first time this month. I had a blank circle/Low on CD10, then today on CD11 I got a flashing smiley! That really surprised me since I usually O around CD18. The earliest I've Oed in the past year is CD16, though I have Oed earlier before so anything is possible. Also my cheap OPKs already have fairly dark lines, much darker than normal for CD10-11.

I always have a 14+ hour fast overnight. When IF, I usually eat between 2-4pm for my first meal on top of my overnight fast. I am catholic, and I started this when I was getting confirmed. I do this during lent, but I now do it while ttcing.

Are you using the CB advanced OPK or just the regular digital?
I definitely think we're cosmically related. I am Jewish so my first experience with fasting was Yom Kippur. The way I'm IFing now, is I fast for 36 hours, then eat for 12 hours, then fast for 36, and so on, always alternating. I do it that way since that is what was most successful in research and it makes sense to me. It means that the majority of the time my digestive system is at rest (at least when I am completely fasting!). I did successfully fast completely the last 36 hours - today is an eating day again.
XXforhubby
January 1st, 2015, 12:59 PM
I use the CB regular digital. I do the same thing, fast for 36 hours and eat two meals the next day only, then fast for 36 hours. I find it easier for me if my sleep is included. If I need to have three meals, two are small and don't add up to one full meal. This is what I have to do while nursing and exercising. I only have one full meal and two half meals, if that makes sense. Once I wean DS2 by mid February, I will do the traditional IF.
I also believe I have a better chance of falling pregnant after I wean DS2, if I don't fall pregnant this cycle or next. DS2 will be 20.5 months and that is how old DS1 was when he weaned himself. DS2 has dropped feedings on his own, but I will stack the deck for him to drop more feedings. By not nursing before nap time and bed time, he will become less interested.
GL ladies, hopefully the New Year will bring a fresh start for all of us! I feel more BFPs will be around the corner!

I do various workout DVDs at home. We don't have the space for any equipment and it is too cold to walk/run outside.
I workout all cycle long. The only time I take breaks are my "pity" breaks the day of pre-AF spotting and the first two days of AF. Those three days are when I have cheat meals too. This helps me cope emotionally. Then I pull myself up and get back on the strict wagon!

Exciting KTF, I hope you caught the egg! I keep meaning to start exercising, but my schedule is messed up so I currently am getting up in the early afternoon and it's dark before I'm up to going out (it takes several hours for my body to really wake up fully). And I just can't walk/run outside when it's dark in the Winter. Cold + dark is too much! I have delayed phase sleep (it means my body naturally wants to sleep from 4am-12pm) and it's a huge battle to get and stay on an earlier schedule. I also have SAD which makes battling my schedule harder, though ironically my SAD would greatly benefit from an earlier schedule. And it would benefit greatly from me walking outside in the daylight for a couple hours daily. It's just so hard for me to muster the motivation when it's so damn cold! Yes I am a huge whiney wuss!
XX, I am in awe that you can IF in such a hardcore manner while on the LE diet, nursing, and with two little boys to care for - you must have incredible will power! Are you familiar with much of the IF research? Or Dr. Johnson's Alternate Day Diet? Have you also observed numerous physical & mental benefits from IF? How long have you known about/been IF?
Sounds like you have a good plan for weaning DS2. I hope it goes smoothly for you both.
Since you are using the regular CB digital OPKs you should O several days before me. I dont think I'll O until CD15 at the very earliest, which is still 4 days out. What CD are you on? Do you have a chart anywhere I can stalk? :D I know you don't temp but maybe you chart your other fertility signs?

XX, what cardio DVDs do you use? I don't want to buy equipment either. I have great yoga, pilates, and strength building videos but no pink cardio. I've mostly just walked/ran for cardio, or occasionally swam, played racquet sports, or did the elliptical - but I know I'm not likely to get the motivation to drive somewhere every day to do those, plus bc I live in such a rural area there are no nearby facilities, I'd have to drive 20-30 min one way at least which sadly is a lot for me with my bad back.
I wish I had a home skating rink...wouldn't that be nice?

I do walk away the pounds with 3-5lb weights. I have to have to use low weights to get any calorie burn. I was SUPER fit before swaying. When I run in warmer weather, I use ankle/wrist weights.
I also have other workout programs that have great cardio workouts that I still do and skip the strength building ones. I also do a yoga/Pilates hybrid that is cardio intense. I know this may be muscle building for some, but not for me. My body has changed SO much! Running and the treadmill makes me obsess too much- improving time, speed, etc. I am much better changing up my DVDs at home!

Ooh my SIL just turned me on to Black Swan Yoga! For $8 a month you can select an instructor and do their yoga routines from your computer or smart TV! She likes Melanie, because she gets your heart rate up quite a bit. The subscription does not automatically renew, which is nice in case you want to select a different instructor. Melanie has various length and strengths of workouts. Casey has the most 60 minute routines. My SIL knows of her, and she has a daughter. Hmmm maybe there is no coincidence...
I am going to check it out in a couple of weeks. Just wanted to pass it a long in case someone wanted to mix things up! Yoga for me is a great way to detox and get out of my head.

Happy New Year!!! This isn't the way I wanted to start 2015, I wanted to be very pregnant by now, but since I'm here I'm glad I'm with you sweet ladies.
Maiden - Your chart looks good!
xx - Thanks for the yoga tips. I used to do some yoga and pilates. So were you fasting when you had your sons? I'm trying to sway blue, so I'm studying you, lol. Sorry you're having trouble with your hormones. You know we've been trying the same number of cycles. My dd is older than your ds and self-weaned last month at 27-1/2 months.
I finally made an appt. with a specialist who uses Napro technology so hopefully I can get some answers as to why I'm not preg yet. It happened much easier the other 2 times. I've been charting since last March and actively trying since Aug. Anyway, the soonest I could get an appt. is the first week of Feb. and that's halfway into the next cycle! :-( I feel like I'm playing darts in the dark, I just don't know where to aim and how to adjust what I'm doing. I'm going to try a new multivitamin this cycle.

SageViolet- I started fasting after DS2 was born. I toyed around with it when I was getting confirmed as an adult 25, but I really perfected things after DS2 was born.
Here is what I did to get my boys:
Think breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, and bedtime snack.
Protein three times a day, nuts for a snack, lots of bright colored fruits and veggies. Think balanced meals with protein and carbs. I only had sugar in the way of fruit or 80-90% dark chocolate (dark chocolate chips in 1/4cup oatmeal for a snack). I also took a multivitamin with dha, calcium supplement (I don't drink much milk) 400IU vitamin D in warm months 1000IU vitamin D in winter months. I drank 2 cups green tea every morning and in the afternoon. I did 30min of weightlifting followed by 30min of cardio 4-5 times a week.
Have sex once a day in fertile window.
This is how I got both DS's. I am sending you my last truck load of rambunctious, cuddly with mama blue, baby dust!!

Xx and maiden- 36 hours is a long time to fast! Does this help sway pink??? I battle with eating disorders and that sounds like a huge red flag!!! Atomic doesn't even have me skipping breakfast necessarily because that is a trigger for me. Even reading that you guys are fasting that long is kinda of triggering to me.... It makes me want to join you.
I truly feel my miscarriage last month was due to my poor eating habits. In all honesty, I knew the only way I could get out of the eating disorder rut I was in before, was to get pregnant. So I believe that miscarriage was Gods sign to me to get and stay healthy.
I'm doing my best to stay on track. There is a very slim safe zone for me. If I don't eat enough or allow myself to get too hungry I either become more restrictive or go the opposite way and b&p... Gross I know, but that's the way my crazy mind works!
Take care of yourselves girls, please don't fall into any unhealthy habits as they are not easy to overcome!
I'll get off my soap box now.
Good luck ladies! I don't know if I should consider myself in the tww. I think(wasn't using opk's), just based on symptoms, cm, cp, ect that I ovulated on Monday. Wee dtd that day, but hubby pulled out. We were wanting to wait for one full cycle after my dnc to try. I am really nervous & excited all at the same time..

Tarasue- I am only doing Atomic's fertility diet and having two small meals and one big meal a day. I have an overnight fast of 16+ hours. I cannot IF until I wean DS2.
I understand about being triggered by our conversation about IF. Please do not relapse! We want a healthy mom and baby! I think we all have to get our mind and body in a healthy state for conception and that looks different for each of us.
I wish you balance and harmony!!

Yay XX! I am hoping to join you soon; today I got another flashing smiley, my CBFM tester stick looks like a High, and I think I just saw a bit of EWCM - on CD12! I haven't seen EWCM so early in well over a year, so it makes me actually believe I might O soon.
tarasue, I used to moderate a livejournal group on IF and MANY of the girls in the group had eating disorders. I myself have OCD and 'disordered eating' but I've never actually been anorexic, though I've come close. I really love food and I'm a health nut so that seems to keep me in check. I would never recommend IF for someone trying to avoid an ED, as many things about it can be triggering. If meds helped you and you were on them and monitored 24/7 then MAYBE you could IF safely, but I wouldn't risk it while TTC. I have been IFing on and off since 2007 so I can do it without obsessing, otherwise I'd never IF while swaying pink. And if I get too crazy with it I'll stop.
Take care of yourself my dear, I HIGHLY doubt (as in, it's basically impossible) your eating habits in any way caused your MC and it sounds like you are doing a great job swaying pink safely. Fx for next cycle, or this one if a sperm got through!
XXforhubby
January 2nd, 2015, 03:10 PM
Tarasue- I do NOT believe in anyway that you caused your MC to happen. You have come so far with your recovery, PLEASE do not let this impair the hard work you have done to get where you are! So often as women and mothers, we take the blame for things- even things beyond our control. While we may never know what caused your MC (most likely chromosomal or placental issues), there was nothing you could or couldn't do to change it. When we ttc, we put ourselves out there, at the mercy of our Creator or the Universe. We become vulnerable. While this is uneasy, this is where true growth happens. Even though we like to control situations, we only have control over ourselves and our actions. We must find the courage to surrender to the Creator or the Universe to allow what will be come to pass.
I know with everything in me, you and all the other ladies will get the child you need- maybe not the child you want. We have to trust in something larger than us to allow us to be the kind of mothers we are meant to be. We are all amazing beings- miracles. Have courage, and know we are all in this together!

Thank you for all the kind words and concerns! I was by no means wanting to air my baggage, I was just worried about you girls doing the IF diet. I have often thought about mentoring young girls with eating disorder issues, I just don't want anyone to have to fight this mental struggle like I have. Please girls just be careful with that kind of diet.
maidentomother
January 3rd, 2015, 11:08 AM
Oh, the mental struggle is awful. Off meds I don't think I'll ever overcome it - though I hope it will be better after kids, like you I don't feel guilty eating while pregnant and I plan to BF long term, too. So I'm hoping to view eating in more positive light in the future.
I fortunately never saw anyone without a preexisting ED start IF and develop one, so I don't think it causes EDs. But of course those who already have them are very often drawn to all types of diet, especially extreme ones. In terms of treating EDs...I think prevention via social change (I.e. realistic female body images in the media) is the most powerful tactic. Not sure that will actually happrn any time soon, though. I know there's been some improvement but it seems awfully slow to me. But maybe social change always is?
My OPKs are almost positive (all 4 different ones)! I'm shocked. So I think I might O in 2 days on CD15. Time to get busy...

These are from today cd 15, negative Hcg and faint opk. I am sure my opk was right on cd 12- it was very positive. I had EWCM on cd 11 and we DTD that day.
I was so sure I ovulated but had doubts considering it had been only 10 days after I started bleeding from my miscarriage. Now that the tests are negative I am convinced an egg was laid!
Should we still DTD tonight? Atomic said to seeing that it's been 4 days since we last DTD. My opk and Hcg were faint positive yesterday and I don't feel like I am ovulating anymore. I am nervous to have more than one attempt.
XXforhubby
January 3rd, 2015, 04:00 PM
I would have another attempt. Even though you had symptoms, you may not have released the egg yet. Having an attempt now, four days after your previous attempt is NOT having 2 attempts in your fertile window. BDing every 4 days ensures one attempt in your fertile window- view it more like covering all of your bases!

It makes me sad too to know she accidentally got pregnant. Here I am with DISMAL hormone numbers, suggesting I need a miracle, or tons of $$ , to get pregnant. Xx- I'm glad you dh is on board to keep ttc. When you give yourself deadlines it's always interesting to see if you stick to it. I had a deadline for baby #3.... If we weren't pregnant by this month i was going to throw in the towel. My deadline was based on I didn't want to give birth after I turn 37(which is in October). That plan didn't include a miscarriage though, so I'm giving myself a few more months:). What's in an age anyway? I am already advanced maternal age, a few more months ttc isn't going to matter in the long run. If we catch an egg this month or in four months I am still an old mom:/

Ladies, you have plenty of time! My mom had me at 36, my brother at 43.
I just got a positive OPK on one of my cheap OPKs...it's a blaring, darker than control line positive, too (I've never had one like that before). And my urine was pale lemonade. But testing with the same pale urine my CBFM and CBAD are both only High. So now I'm trying desperately to concentrate my urine before my LH levels drop. It is so hard for me to get dark urine! Any tips? I haven't had any fluid in 15 hours and I've peed 3x since getting up (since my pain meds cause me to retain water, I normally pee only 3-4x in a 24 hour period).

I wish I had your optimism Maiden! With my numbers the way they are, I sure hope I can have another baby without too many interventions.
I would not worry about your urine. It depends on how much you drink, medications, and genetics. If you take a diuretic, it will be hard to have concentrated urine. The amount of LH, or any hormone, can still be present at high levels in the urine, independent of urine color. I would attempt tonight and call it good!!

Maidentomother, i think that the OPK's detect even a small amount of hormones in your urine, so even if it's not so concentrated you should get a possitive.
You will end up with a headache when you don't drink in time...

XX, sounds promising, fx for you! Dutchgirl, I hope the uterine pain is a good sign for you, too.
Unfortunately, I know for sure that the colour of my urine is extremely important and very much does reflect the concentration. I've always found it very difficult to get dark/concentrated urine, but being on such high dose opiates makes it even more of a problem. I eventually gave up bc I was unable to get dark urine before my LH level started to drop and I was in pain from dehydration. Now it's late and I'm so tired bc I'm still not rehydrated and I have yet to BD, argh!

Today got my Peaks on both CBFM and CBAD, and both cheap OPKs the darkest OPKs I've ever gotten, even darker than yesterday. Having some O pain already and planning on BDing shortly. DF is napping, we'll see how it goes...
Stupid CBFM which gave me nothing but endless Highs last cycle, this cycle I never got a High, it went straight to Peak after days of Low. I definitely prefer the CBAD! It least it appears to be accurate even though this is my first month using it.
The weird thing is my cervix has been open for 4 days in a row, but has yet to soften and only went high today. Normally my cervix is HSO for a couple days 3+ days before O and starts closing/firming/lowering before O.

Attempt done, yay! I always feel this immense relief once I've attempted, I'm so anxious always trying to time it properly. The O pain went away before reaching full intensity so I'm hoping I don't O for at least 12 hours.
I used just a tiny bit of sperm friendly lube (YesBaby), and I quite liked it, very natural feeling and not at all sticky. DF apparently liked it too bc it was over very quickly, lol. I felt a lot of EWCM up at my cervix but otherwise I was not quite as wet as I prefer, so I think that worked out well. DF also released 2 days ago and 4 of our 5 prior attempts have been after very long abstains (like 2-4w!). I am hoping that having fresher/more sperm plus earlier O and the YesBaby will do the trick. As for maternal age, I can think of 2 ladies I know that had their first baby at 40 and another one who kept on having healthy babies into her 40s. I know personally in terms of my own energy levels I'd like to do it sooner rather than later, but kids keep you young. There was some study to prove that which I remember sending to my older mommy friends, lol. I've also heard your menopause start date relates to when you started menstruating, like if you started early you'll likely be done earlier.

It do! Hcg trigger shots are 10,000 iu. It takes me 8 days yo clear that amount :)

Oh I am getting excited for everyone! I sure hope to see more BFPs soon!
I am 4dpo and AF will come sometime between the 14-18th. I Oed earlier at cd13 so we'll see. If I don't fall pregnant, DH and I are considering acupuncture and traditional Chinese medicine. There is a practitioner near me that is from China and trained at one of the top schools and hospitals in China. We'll see.

So, I am fairly sure I O'd late! like CD 24/25. My LMP was the 9th of Dec and I got very positive OPKs on the 30/31st. I had miss read some of my earlier OPKs thinking that was as 'positive' as I was going to get ... Then I got my real + OPK! It's turning into a 3ww, lol. I tested today just to be sure I O'd when I think I really O'd. BFN, duh! AF is due on the 9th (it's the 6th almost the 7th here in Korea). I'm not hopefully about this month.
GL to everyone! Love to see the BFPs!!!!

We BD on cd13 and I ovulated cd16 but fingers still crossed. Good luck everybody!!! Here's to lots of BFP later this month or early February 😀

I only wish I knew where I was in my cycle. I know I haven't had a positive opk in the last week, not even close to positive. Dnc was on dec.12, so if I ovulated between then and dec. 31, I wasn't testing so I wouldn't know. By symptoms alone I may have ovulated on dec. 29th. Fx I at least start my period soon so I can know where I stand. My patience is shot!

XXhubby, supersweet! :hug2:
I too hope we get our BFP!
I have all day small cramping like a light AF...Yesterday and sunday i had some sort of needles sticking in my pelvic area..
Sooo hoping that it's because of a little one getting stuck. I can't remeber how it was with my other kids, but hubby said that i had these needles as well. Still fx all day.
Keepthefaith, when are you planning to test? Do you have a long LP?
Mine is 14 days so that's only next thursday..

Dutchgirl- I will test next Thursday if I don't have any pre-AF spotting that I usually get.
I am hopeful that my appointment is fruitful tomorrow with the RE. I hope there is more blood work to be done and supplements that I can take. I am really thinking about doing acupuncture. It is so much cheaper than other fertility treatments. We'll see! Maybe I won't need anything and will have a surprise BFP....😊

Thank you True, sage, 2boys and XX! Good luck to you all as well as tarasue and kate (kate, did you actually have a proper attempt or did DH pull out every single time? Have you ever gotten pregnant that way before?) I am excited for you ladies almost far enough along to start testing! How many DPO is everone? When is everyone planning to start testing or will most of you wait until AF is late? Is anyone 9 or more DPO already?
As for me, it's now been a bit over 24 hours since my attempt and I haven't Oed yet (my temp was still very low this am), which I'm happy about. I have been having almost O pain on and off today and 90% of the time I ovulate around 2-4am; I hope and expect to O then this cycle as well, so approximately 30 hours after my attempt - pretty ideal timing! My OPKs today are still positive but definitely lighter than yesterday which also gives me hope that I will O soon and not in another 24 hours (or more, god forbid!).
Within an hour after BD I started having copious EWCM - as I usually do while fertile and not swaying - and today as well I've had more than usual while swaying, though not copiously like last night. This has happened before while swaying, in the cycles when I was TTC; it's like BD activates something, a trigger that stimulates massive EWCM production. So I really think part of why I'm so dry while swaying (which is such a huge difference from my normally soaked state for at least a week before O) is due to celibacy, and atomic's theory about regular/frequent sex swaying blue via more than just sperm count or pH is very likely correct. I find this fascinating!
The only thing off is my cervix, which still hasn't softened fully and has lowered a bit already; my cervix has always been my most reliable fertile sign in terms of pinpointing O, especially this past year while swaying and taking Vitex, both which frequently cause my other signs to be misleading and unpredictable. I have never Oed without having a high, soft cervix at some point before or during O, in all my time charting my cervical state. And the only thing different this month is the strict intermittent fasting I've been doing over the past 2 weeks, and loss of body fat, though my liposuction was almost 6 weeks ago, 2 weeks before I Oed last cycle, and my cervix acted totally normal then...
If anyone read all of that, thank you! I didn't intend to go on for so long...and fx I didn't jinx myself by expecting to O tonight; I'm foolishly superstitious that way. Anyone else silly that way or just me?

I don't think I am, I think AF is going to show up early since I Oed on CD13 this cycle. I too have felt the tingling/searing sensation in my uterus. Plus, I have been super hungry! I must be making a good amount of progesterone. At least my hormones appear to be getting back on the right track. No Kate we never have used the withdrawal method. I am coming off a miscarriage last month and was using withdrawal as prevention until I get my first Af after my dnc... I would be thrilled if we caught a egg by accident, but part of me wanted to play it safe and have a full cycle before ttc.
I had my follow up appt today and my dr. Reassured me that if by chance we do get pregnant before I cycle there is no greater chance of loosing the baby again than if we were to wait. As of tonight we are ALL IN ttc again:).

Just curious... How many of you were in November 2ww? It seems like there are a lot of us still bouncing from month to month TWW or in my case back from a devastating loss.
I've been on the boards since November 2013, but didn't start my sway till February 2014. It took 5 cycles for me to finally get pregnant (both my boys were oopsies with no trying) but I did take a few months off in between. I got pregnant in September but had a miscarriage in October at 7 weeks. DH doesn't want any more kids and has been talking about getting a vasectomy and has been using condoms or pulling out ever since, so I haven't really been posting since my chances of getting pregnant are slim.
After suffering severe fatigue and depression, which started a few months before the pregnancy I saw an endocrinologist thinking I had thyroid problems. Turns out my thyroid is fine, but I have severly low ferritin (iron stores) due to 11 years of heavy periods and then the miscarriage. Optimal levels are 70-90 and mine is 8! Low ferritin causes symptoms almost identical to low thyroid, as well as poor egg quality. I also found out I have low cortisol and a homozygous MTHFR mutation, which increases the risk of repeat miscarriages. My magnesium and vitamin D levels were low too which is a result of swaying (stopped all supplements in Nov 2013).
So, needless to say, I had to pretty much stop swaying to get healthy again. I'm eating red meat almost daily, taking 300mg of iron daily, switched from folic acid to folate, starting taking vitamin D and magnesium again, and the endocrinologist is having me take a more in depth cortisol test to see if my pituitary and adrenal glands are working properly.
So that's my story on why I'm mostly lurking!

I used soy ISO when I conceived in October. My cycle was very long the month prior, I o on cd 23 or something. So I took it the next month and o on cd 14. I believe it helped but I don't know for sure. I think from what I read, and knowing it "acts" the same way Clomid does, that it sways pink to some extent and the reason it may sway blue is due to the excess EWCM it may help produce.

Hi,
Hope I can join in here, long time stalker first time poster. I discovered this page after the birth of my second son (failed IG sway) and we are now trying for #4. Will be my 8th pregnancy (4 m/c, DD8, DS7, DS2.5) and hoping for one more daughter to complete our family. I've been on the LE diet for almost 23 weeks, no breakfast, vegetarian plus a host of other sway tactics recommended here.
Last month was our first attempt and I was very hopeful as all the other pregnancies have been conceived first go but alas AF found me :-( So I started charting again and here I am 14dpo, AF due tomorrow, no signs she's on her way, temp still up and terrified!!! I know that this is my last shot at another DD and know that if I am pregnant it's done, my fate is sealed, what will be already is! I'll be testing on Saturday (16dpo) unless AF shows in the mean time.
So please keep your fingers crossed for me and I hope we all get beautiful BFP's to start off the year!

Hopefully those are good signs for you Dutch girl, fx!
I get hypermesis when I'm pregnant but it doesn't start until around 6 weeks but hangs around until 20-25 weeks.
Normal the day before AF I would be feeling really bloated, heavy and yuck but have none of that at the moment. Although my weight has gone up a little according to the scales in the last week but I don't feel it in my clothes? Fertility friend said bloating and retaining water is very important in early pregnancy to increase blood volume to support the embryo, so hopefully that's where my weight is!
Tomorrow is going to be the longest day ever!

Do you think soy played any part in your miscarriage? Ds2 is a healthy soy baby, but I don't want to do ANyTHING to cause another "December" for me! I also want to try to move my ovulation up, it was about 4 days sooner with ds2. As of right now if I got pregnant this cycle the due date would be my mother in laws birthday, I want to avoid that at all costs. If it moves up a few days it would be my birthday, I am a-ok with that. Here I go again trying to control everything! One would have thought I would have learned my lesson, only God is in control, but I can't help to persuade fate lets say.

Tarasue my miscarriage was likely bc of chromosomal abnormalities. The maternitT results showed an elevated 22 marker- and baby gender was a girl. Anyway I don't think soy caused this- I believe the miscarriage was natures way.

If she doesnt arrive, I am going to try my best and save my last FRER until Sunday or Monday, because I o'd so late. Every BFN is so depressing, especially with all of the BDing.

Looks like two lines!!!! 9-10 dpo. I am beyond happy and terrified! I am keeping this my little secret for the morning, I love knowing before hubby does. It starts the bonding process, for me, and I just love knowing me and babe have this little secret. ❤️
Please let his little angel stick, be healthy and penis free!
Are you sure that's not from leftover HCG? My FRER looked just like that 2 weeks after my 7 week miscarriage, even though my cheapie tests looked pretty negative. It was leftover HCG still in my system. I ended up O'ing a week later than normal, 21 days after my miscarriage and AF arrived on CD35.

Tarasue so sorry to hear about your Mc, I've been there it sucks. I hope you get your nice sticky bean very soon.
bree_cooper11 your not out until she shows some people don't get a bfp until after AF is due. Depends how well your body metabolizes the hcg into your urine. In my 7 pregnancies I've never gotten a bfp before 12dpo (latest 16dpo) but yet the day I've had a feint positive a blood test has been well over 300! So I obviously don't get much hcg passing into my urine. So fingers crossed for you!
Also I hear you on the breakouts, I never suffer from hormonal breakouts but since about 10dpo my face has been ridiculously oily and pimples everywhere! Also this morning my gums bled when I brushed my teeth! which has never happened before either. I don't even know if that's a sign or not?
AF was due today and it's after 6pm and no sign yet, eek! I can't believe its 15dpo and I haven't tested yet! I'm usually a complete poas addict. But tomorrow is a very significant date for me so it feels right waiting to hopefully see my bfp then. Although I'm seriously considering testing when I get home from work as it will be 1am so technically the 10/1 and surely at 16dpo I should see a positive after holding my wee for 8 hours while I'm at work?
Anyone else testing tomorrow?

Well Im 10 DPO and I did a test and i think there is the faintest line i have ever seen but its so faint DH can't see so I'm not sure if it's my mind playing tricks. I tried to take a photo but so weak doesn't show up! Feeling a bit crampy and wondering if this might be related or else I'm totally wrong and reading far too much into nothing! Will test again tomorrow morning see if line stronger (if indeed what I am seeing is a line!) Will report back with an update!!

I had bleeding gums before all three of my positive pregnancy tests. Good luck to you missy, I can't wait to see if you get a positive!
I thought I was pregnant to due to the way I am breaking out, but it was just Af. My hormones are just so out of wack since the mc.
Today is cd 4, going to start clomid tonight!!! Fx I get a good strong egg. I have never had fertility issues with my first two sons. But with the baby I just lost it took me like to cd35 to ovulate. I would almost get a positive test, then it would go negative. I had actually given up on the opk's and was just bd-ing every 3 days and must have caught the egg then. My dr feels that since it took longer for me to release the egg and then lost the baby the clomid will help make a big strong egg:). Hope it works and hope it helps sway pink. My LE diet is weak. I didn't follow it after I got pregnant, so have only been back at it a few weeks. I will have about four good le days, then a cheat day:/. Not proud of that but I am more worried about a healthy baby. My dr also has me in prescribed prenatal, I may start taking every other day. I want healthy over a girl at this point. I really don't know what I would do with a girl anyway... They kinda scare me, but I want the mother/daughter relationship.
Sorry to ramble on....

Good luck maiden I hope you O soon!! Are you close friends with the doner?? (Tell me to mind my own if I'm prying! Lol just curious ). We might have concieved our girl that way or a day after O with him actually finishing up there. If anyone could get pregnant that way it'd be us lol! He didn't actually go up there at all this time. We will just keep "not trying" with the pre ejac and see!!
Yes, the donor is a mostly platonic friend who has been a friend with benefits in the past. He really wants kids and co-parent, but understands I have the final say on everything.
Kate & tarasur I hope the pull out method works for you! I have never actually done that, as I really prefer for my partner to finish inside me. Plus it seems like it would not be as enjoyable for the man.
I am not sure when I Oed - I didn't have my full on distinctive O pain this month. I think likely CD16-17, but not at all sure which. Unfortunately CD17's temp is not reliable; I didn't sleep at all that day just took my temp after 3 hours lying in bed reading & browsing on my tablet. And that was at night, too, since I was never able to fall asleep the previous night. I was surprised it was so low after having been up so long! Right before finally crashing the night of CD17 I had a bit of EWCM but up until then it had been creamy since CD15. CD18's temp spike was taken under perfecr conditions so I do feel confident I Oed. Just not sure when. FF thinks CD15, I think that's not likely, but I have had slow temp rises before on Vitex plus I have those 2 cysts from last cycle which may be affecting things. I just hope my attempt wasn't too far away. I am now somewhere between 1-3DPO.

Missy, welcome and fx you see a BFP tomorrow!
2boys and (hopefully?) KTF, big congrats on your BFPs. I know you both have been through a lot to get your much deserved, hopefully healthy & girly pregnancies.
XX, I hope you're feeling better today?
tarasue, I am also particular about potential due dates, for multiple reasons including astrology and my own seasonal issues (I have SAD so no Jan/Feb babies for me). I know it's not up to us but I can't help trying to at least aim for al Fall baby. Good luck with clomid too, I am jealous! I do think it will help make a strong egg as well as strongly swaying pink.
Ladies, my mother from whom I've been estranged for several years now, just died (apparently on her 70th birthday, eerily enough). We had a very difficult relationship and she hurt me very badly (lies, betrayal, slander thefts of huge sums of money leading up to our estrangement and even after I cut off contact), but I am really sad bc now there is no chance she will ever change and become a true mother. It was unlikely, I knew that with how increasingly psychotic she became over time, but I still kinda hoped. My biological father died this past summer very suddenly, but he had severe alzheimer's for several years and we were never close. My younger brother is being a complete asshole, he is starting to remind me very much of our mother in his behaviour, he's emotionally manipulative, selfish and ungrateful, too. I am just so fed up with him and his recent attitude toward me (all sorts of BS comments bc I refused to talk to mother on her deathbed). :(

Oh Maiden! My heart goes out to you! Try your hardest to not let your brother get you down. Remember he is grieving, and this often brings out the worst in people. Try your best to make peace with your mother. I know this may be hard, because of her passing, but it will help you to heal from it all. Oddly enough, we don't need to reconcile a relationship in person with someone, we can do it on our own and it can be the easiest. I had to do this with my biological father, since I have never known him, and he is not in my life.
I pray for you. This is a hard blow, but I know you can get through it in time. Be easy on yourself. 😘

So sorry for your loss maiden. Illness and death of family members can bring out the worst in people. In the last 2 years my family has been completely torn apart by it.
Tarasue I know how you feel. I was swaying for my first pregnancy as I wanted a girl but after all the m/c's I gave up caring and just wanted a healthy baby. Did everything my specialist said including some things which sway very strongly blue and got my beautiful daughter anyway. So I hope the same happens for you. Do the best you can on the diet and together with clomid I think you've still got a good pink sway.
As for me I tested last night when I got home from work at 1am and again this morning at 7am. Both times a second line appeared within 20 seconds of dipping the test in (using ic's) but it's not very dark so now I'm worried as I googled feint bfp at 16dpo and every story I read turned out to be a chemical. Don't know what to think? Haven't told dh yet as he said if I have another m/c we're not trying again and I should just be happy with what we have.
I'll try and figure out how to post a picture later if i can.

Thank you all SO much. I do know my brother is grieving, he always had an easier relationship with her. Unfortunately the recent BS from him is just icing, as just over a year ago I told him of my intent to start TTC, in deepest confidence bc of my traumatic miscarriage in 2012 (which he knew about and was very excited about and supportive of the pregnancy). He texted back several long texts detailing why he thought it was a horrible idea, including false accusations & assumptions; it was the worst, most hurtful thing anyone has ever said to me. I was shocked speechless. He has never even attempted to apologize or make up for it and I truly don't know how I will ever be able to see him again without sobbing and/or punching him in the face. And I am , or was, the most forgiving person to a fault, incapable of holding grudges. I think I've just reached a point where I can't handle any more abuse from the people who are supposed to care about me most.
XX, I don't know that I can ever be at peace with my mum. I've healed a lot since cutting her off; I used to so angry at her and now I just feel sadness. I know she had an abusive childhood and I think the accidents I had as a little girl which are at least partially responsible for my later & current crippled state triggered the start of psychotic behaviour. She gave me many opportunities which I'm very grateful for. But she never was able to admit to any mistake; she was incapable of apology. And I can't forgive that. Maybe having my own children will change things?
Missy, I posted in your thread - those are absolutely BFP!
I posted here before but apparently my post got eaten....I am not sure when I Oed this cycle! I didn't have my full-on, distinctive O pain as I typically do, and my fertile signs don't align well. I think I could have Oed anywhere from CD16 to CD18. Unfortunately, I didn't sleep at all the night of CD17 so I ended up temping the night of CD18 after 3 hours reading & tablet-internetting in bed. The temp was surprisingly low for how long I'd been awake but I obviously can't rely on it. I also had a bit of EWCM the night of CD18 but all creamy before and sincd. CD19s temp was taken optimally so I am sure that I at least Oed, but not sure how many DPO I am and how good the timing of my one attempt was. What do you all think? You can see my chart below.

We are visiting my sister, who just found out she is pregnant(almost 6weeks). She is all about talking baby. You are SO right sage....the family I've chosen has always been more supportive. Unfortunately, I still feel this sense of duty to my biological family, no matter how abusive certain members have been/can be. FX you O on time tomorrow and thank you very much for the input on my chart.
I haven't been feeling anything at 5DPO...I don't feel pregnant at all. I don't even have sore nips like I usually do on Vitex after O. A few very brief, left ovary twinges yesterday & today...that plus no O pain makes me think maybe I Oed on my left. I hope so as if my ovarian EP damaged my right ovary, then maybe an egg from the left will do the trick. If my timing was indeed good enough to catch the egg. I will *try* to wait to test until 10-11DPO.

XX i'm hoping for you!
I will test tomorrow, i can't wait any longer. Tomorrow i'm 11DPO.
I'll be 11dpo tomorrow too!! I am waiting to make sure I don't get my normal pre-AF spotting before I test. I am going to hold out until the 17th at 16dpo...if at all possible! I had a chemical back in November, and I want to try and wait as long as I can.
FX!!!
