OMG! Congratulations tm29!
Maybe call a doctor and tell about the bleeding and pos test.
Thank you sc1411- I will definitely do that. I'm going to be pretty anxious after my mc last time
Junie - thank you. You're having a hell of a time - I'm so relieved to hear you'll be out tomorrow. Well, this just goes to show (still pinching myself as I write this) that very bad luck can turn good. I really hope you're going to get your bfp now.
It really is positive. Well, thank goodness I don't have to make the decision about the clomid - I'm so sorry I wasted your time ladies! I honestly had ZERO hope and had spent the day crying.
If this little bean sticks then I got my bfp after my best possible swaying month with no clomid and nothing I could really have done better - not and be a real person with a life and a toddler. I genuinely gave it my best shot and I believe I have a genuine chance of having my little boy.
Well, IB at 9dpo it was. THANK YOU LUCKY STARS!!!!! (Now I'm going to cross everything this lasts.) Thanks ladies!

Thank you so much everyone! I am VERY cautiously excited. After my mc I'm nervous anyway, but this bleeding is not normal, I'm sure. Maybe it's also connected with the mc. There's still some today - and cramps. So I hope I STAY pregnant. Thank you for all the kind replies. I can't wait to see the dr and get some blood tests done.
Massive FX for all of you this cycle.

They are sensitive 10mlu. But if I ovulated on the second surge I won't test positive till another week. It's all so confusing
tm29
April 26th, 2015, 03:46 PM
You may be using high quality tests, but on the off chance they're amazon bargains which claim to be sensitive, I got a bfp with frer and clear blue twice and bfns from my Internet '10mlu' ones. Probably irrelevant. And yes it is all v confusing and incredibly stressful and emotional at the same time. And all the yucky peeing on things. Low on fun this whole process. Hugs to you

They aren't cheapo ones. They're from superdrug . U can test 4 days before af is due.the opks were v cheap ones from eBay.i don't know if they worked ok. If not I may have ovulated a completely different day.i also got the second lh surge a few days after ovulation on these

I'm having cramps like af is coming but I'm not due on till wed. My boobs are sore and actually aching. Just found some clear stretchy discharge when I went to the toilet too.

I really relate to that. At least no bleeding for you. You have every reason to be really hopeful. But yes, v v early pre is nerve - wracking. I'm just off for blood tests to check hcg is going up at normal rate .... eleena you are pregnant!!!!!!

Good luck. Really hope everything's ok. Because I had a missed miscarriage I am even more nervous as the only am out of bleeding I had before was a teeny tiny bit.still thought I was pregnant up to first scan.
eleena2014
April 27th, 2015, 02:27 AM
Do u know if they would by any chance give u a early scan if u are worried?
tm29
April 27th, 2015, 02:29 AM
Apparently way too early for scan. Scary! But if hcg is doubling we know I'm def officially in the game!

April 27th, 2015, 02:30 AM

Well, my bleeding was bad because my progesterone is too low. My hcg is great, but my progesterone is def too low. From what I understand - thanks to Atomic - a healthy pg makes enough progesterone. So it will either go up, or I will miscarry
OR - according to my dr, I will be one of the many women he sees who have a pregnancy with low progesterone all along.
What a scary time!

Congrats eleena! I'm so happy for you even though I know you're worried. How long has it been since your miscarriage? Sending lots of sticky vibes your way!
tm29-- will they give you progesterone? A friend of mine needed progesterone suppositories for each of her subsequent pregnancies after finding out she had low progesterone after her first miscarriage.

April 27th, 2015, 11:57 AM
Can he give you a cream for that? I know my doc has the attitude of if is going to happen it will, but if your doc KNOWS its progesterone maybe he can help.

Thanks hitmebaby and essnce - my Dr did prescribe progesterone but apparently many think it doesn't help and your only hope is that it increases naturally. I'm nervous - but im feeling SO sick already. And the bleeding has stopped. Not sure how quickly it can increase but here's hoping.

Taytum - nice to hear from you and thank you. I'm so scared all the time! I have to wait another 13 days for a scan to see if I'm still pg and all is developing normally. What's going on with you? I really hope you're feeling good and on track... Fx for you x

tm- I can definitely understand being cautiously happy and scared! Sorry I don't read past posts - have you miscarried before? I will be stalking for the next two weeks and your whole pregnancy to pray for a little boy! [emoji170]
I just got some blood drawn Thursday and found my LH is 3x higher than FSH. So...she gave me some Clomid to try next cycle. Nervous, but happy to have some answers! [emoji4]

That is so good that you finally have some answers. It's terrible being in the dark and just feeling like you're lost. I really hope clomid is going to do the trick for you.
Yes, I lost a sway baby at 12 weeks last December. Just like Junie. I had swayed for about 8/9 weeks and taken clomid and I got pg first try. But sadly there was something wrong with the baby. It was a missed miscarriage, so my body went on thinking I was pg right up until our 12wk scan. Baby died at about 8 weeks. Totally heartbreaking - and I had to have a d and c and there were complications because they didn't do it right. So it has been a journey!
I'm not sleeping a lot and crossing everything. I have a scan booked for two weeks away and there is literally nothing you can do before that date to check if you're still carrying a live baby!
Let me know how you do with the clomid? Like I say, I got pg right away - it just wasn't meant to be that time.

Oh man...that sounds terrible. I couldn't imagine going through that - my heart goes out to you. I hope this is your rainbow baby (but with a darker shade of blue rainbow![emoji6])
Like you said though, nothing you can do until 8 weeks. So try to relax and take care of yourself as that's what's most important for you and baby!
Thanks for the encouragement with the Clomid! I really hope it works and we don't have to do anything too invasive.

Massive congrats to fivebabies, seabeewife, tm29, sc1411, smarston3 and eleena - hope I got everyone? Clearly I am a fertility albatross, as I'm offline for 2 weeks and it's BFPs galore! I am so very happy for you all.
Junie, it looks like the soy worked! I hope it does the trick. It gave me massive EWCM but didn't help me O sooner (nothing does).
Taytum, the good news is high LH plus long cycles means you probably have PCOS which sways blue! I think Clomid will help a great deal.
Good luck to everyone trying this cycle.
I got my test results back (CD8 so not perfectly accurate), my LH, FSH, E2 & P as well as full thyroid panel are all normal. My AMH is excellent (just under 5). Buuut, my testosterone is undetectable and my SHBG is too high. So I think I possibly went too far in terms of lowering my fertility. DF still hasn't provided his semen sample though so we really don't know. I won't be using him again regardless but I'd like to know if he was a or the factor inhibiting conception. IVF is looking good considering my AMH. Currently I'm having my longest cycle EVER...resuming vitamins and a rich diet apparently delays O for me.

My insurance probably wouldcover IVF at least partially if I absolutely need it (and I'm far from that point so far as we know, unless I have tubal issues) but in Germany gender selection is illegal so I wouldn't be able/want to use it. Fortunately I can afford the best and I'd use a US clinic if I go that route.
No luck yet on the donor front but I haven't been looking bc I've been slammed with crises and my internet & tablet have been especially unreliable lately. Plus I'm just not feeling well. My hormones are definitely wacked out this cycle.
