I'm Cd7. Should be ovulating next weekend (will be monitored Thursday as I'm on Femera for irregular ovulation *cough pink sway cough*) and will be in my 2ww roughly May 3-17.

So AF showed up for me and it only lasted 2 days. I'm on CD 3 ( or 14 DPO) and I have very slight spotting. My AF is not like this. I tested again this morning and it was BFN.
My questions is can I be sure this is AF?
I'm supposed to take my first pill of Femara tonight and I'm kinda scared because my short period is freaking me out and making my think what if this bleeding was IB.
Femara is a no no if you are pregnant.

Anyone have short periods like 2 days? Mine are usually 4 days long.

HealthyGirl, you could always get a blood test if you are concerned. Which brand HPT did you use?

I'm not 100% sure but I may have finally O'd today. I didn't get an OPK+ but I have lots of other signs that normally tell me it is happening but I don't want to get my hopes up yet, will wait to see what my temps do. If I did O then AF will be due around my DH's birthday too (and Mothers Day).

We BD yesterday which is actually only 2 days after our last attempt but I'm thinking I'm not actually going to O for 1-3 more days and then the timing should end up being O-2 with basically only 1 attempt in the fertile window. I think last cycle I might have only hit the actual O day and I think that was too late. I'm hoping this works out better but we'll see :)

I am actually bd every 3 days with additional attempt at pos opk cause i want to get pg NOW!:) I think bd every 3 days is good and takes the stress out of it a little bit. Creamy CM now so that is a good sign I may have O'd. We only had one attempt on CD26. I think O was on CD27.

My AF is due the day I have booked an appointment with a fertility specialist so I'm not sure if I should move it. Need to check if I will get charged a cancellation fee. World work out good timing for getting blood tests done as I think CD3 is the day to test FSH.

I'm having strong cramps today with a very dark OPK so I'm as sure as I can be (which with my crazy charts is never really more then 85% for me) that I'm Oing today.
I think my timing this cycle worked out how I wanted! O-2 and O-4 (which I think is then far enough back that it barely counts as being in the fertile window).
This is my first cycle post miscarriage that seems "normal" and with my health issues all resolving I'll admit that right now I'm feeling very hopeful.

I have already been bd. I got a positive opk on cd 4,5 and 6. Maybe it was a fluke but my temps are slowly rising. I am hoping I didn't O so early. Maybe things will change in the next couple of days. Neg opk now and cm is gone too so well see. My temps are still low but have been gradually rising. I temps really early cause DH wakes early so my temps are normally on the low side. Are you using opk?

I'm heart broken. I checked my cervix and it is low and I had a small amount of red blood on my finger. This usually happens at 9 or 10 dpo, not 6. I was so excited with a huge temp rise, now I'm shattered because any bleeding for me anymore is a bad thing. I pray to God its implantation bleeding, but I'm not getting my hopes up. Sorry, DH is gone and I have no one to vent to.

Seabee- Your temps are great, your cervix can take awhile to move back up in early pregnancy which is why it isn't a reliable sign after ovulation. Was it soft or firm? I'm thinking implantation personally and have absolutely everything crossed for you!

Well so much for thinking I ovulated already! My temps didn't go up enough today (although I was quite restless) but I have lots of ewcm and ovulation pain again and I just got the most OPK+ I have ever seen (for me). I'm thinking of BDing tonight even though it would be 3 days since last time.

My experience with O pain is that it is the corpus luteum building up to hopefully sustain a pregnancy.

I would say if you need them take them. I know D Mannose is supposed to be helpful for UTI's but if you have blood already you most likely need the antibiotics. You certainly don't want to end up with a kidney infection. I hope you feel better soon! XXOO

I had to be on antibiotics AND Diflucan (for a YI) while TTCing back in November. I had a bad sinus infection and a YI from a chemical [emoji20]. I was told it is doubtful they sway blue as so many people got opposites while taking them. Plus, if you need them your maternal condition is so poor anyway that that in of itself sways heavily pink.

Take them! Don't suffer! Having an out of control infection is going to run the risk of your body either delaying or halting O altogether.

Healthy, I really don't thinj antibiotics sway blue personally. There is no evidence. It's just a myth
But being sick definitely sways pink.

2nd RE appt on hold until DF gets his stuff together and submits a semen sample. I also want to get retested on CD3 not CD8 as I was bc I think my LH & FSH numbers are too high.

Healthy, that's not enough of a temp rise to confirm O or even suggest it, IMO. You want to see a temp rise at least .2 degrees above your most of your temps so far, so 98.6+ in your case.

No sustained to rise to confirm O has happened. Sometimes you can have a secondary estrogen surge that can cause a temp to decrease but not below the cover line. Your temps look like a seesaw pattern which often happens before O. Sometimes taking your temp doesn't confirm O. That happened to me one month and an US confirmed O happened.

Let's see what happens over the next few days. You can peruse my charts I have in FF on my signature. You can see what post O temps usually look like.

I am having that moment where you realize you've been ttc for 9 months. Yeah, depressing. I had one big cheat yesterday eating some stuff I haven't eaten in over 10 years (a yummy dessert), and amazingly I felt fine afterwards. This is before I go on yet another special diet. I had the ALCAT blood test done for food sensitivities, and it turns out one of my severe reactors is white potatoes. Guess what I've been eating a lot of while swaying blue? And apparently gluten is ok (been avoiding it since before dd due to family history), it's the rice and potatoes that my body reacts to. Ugh! So maybe with a better diet I can finally get a bfp? Swaying is totally out the window, and honestly I could care less, I just really want my dd to have a sibling asap!

Sage- do what you gotta what you gotta do! I bet changing your diet around by avoiding foods you shouldn't have, you'll get your BFP. I sometimes think when we truly relax and let go, that is when we get our BFP. By the way, there are no magic foods on either diet. It is how you eat, not what you eat that matters. For boy, have snacks throughout the day to keep blood sugar stable. Follow this and you'll be fine! Plus taking a good prenatal vitamin helps too. If you exercise, moderate is best with weights. I did this with one boy and couch potato for the second boy. Again, diet matters most! Also having more attempts in your fertile window is key.

Healthygirl, the temp rise won't come until after ovulation so it takes 3 higher temps to confirm. It will probably climb up above most the temps you already have. If you look at mine all my post O temps are higher. It sounds to me like you are very close!

Junie, I really really think CD20 too. Cramps can be so misleading and I know OPKs don't work precisely for you. I always trust temps abive all unless they're unreliable.

mandy, spotting can happen for many reasons at 7DPO wherher you are pregnant or not. I wouldn't assume anything at this point.

If you last BDed on CD11, I'd BD the night of CD14 or first thing the morning of CD15. If you O tomorrow on CD14 then your attempt on CD11 is plenty. If you O on CD15 then you'll be covered too by BDing again.

I'm out!! I guess it was nice of her to show up the day before Mother's Day! I have been really bad and not sticking to the diet and just eating whatever, whenever! I need to get back on track soon!! I just really want to get pregnant. I have been swaying since October and TTC for over a year. It is time! I am supposed to give femera a try this cycle. I am praying so hard that this will work. My RE stinks! Her bedside manner stinks. I have low AMH and she told me my chances of conceiving are 1-3% but I have a better chance getting pregnant than winning the lotto. I mean talk about no compassion! UGH!! Anyways, I am venting a bit!
I will enjoy the day tomorrow with my sweet beautiful boys! My 5 year old graduates from Pre-K this week and we are off to the beach for vacation!! I am soooo looking forward to it!!
I hope we get some BFP's this month! Hopefully not much longer and I will have mine too!!

That would be great! I had a short cycle before my BFP- 20 days. I'm hoping that the Femera does the trick! That way when you get your BFP you can tell your RE, "Looks like I won the lotto [emoji14]"!

What is wrong with these medical professionals?! When I called my RE to tell her I was pregnant, she grilled me! She asked if I had seen my OB yet, am I taking my prenatals, did I get my pregnancy confirmed? I answered all of these before she said congratulations! Seriously?! I have been pregnant before! What is wrong with being happy for someone, even if it was by a long shot they did get pregnant?! Ugh! It did feel good though telling her and she being in shock! You would think as a woman, she would be more empathetic with someone, especially a woman who struggled to get pregnant.

This happened to me! I was a huge smacked before swaying! It took me several weeks to be able to stomach snacks, since I need smaller meals to keep both morning sickness and gestational diabetes at bay!

Hi Healthygirl, no, Femara is not for boy sway. I had to go Femara and Ovidrel due to irregular periods. It does sways little pink but I got my personal plan from Atomic and counselling to minimize its effect. Normally Femara is out of the system by the time of ovultion.

Let's see how it goes, It is my O day today - officially in 2ww.

Your chart looks perfectly normal Healthy! You won't see a temp rise till the day AFTER ovulation and you need 3 high temps in a row for Fertility Friend to give you cross hairs. If you O'd today then you wouldn't get a high temp till tomorrow. Good luck!

Healthygirl- Your chart looks great! You just have to wait a few days after ovulation for it to be clear. That is why charting isn't useful for predicting ovulation but it is nice for confirming ovulation after the fact.

I think I will ovulate today! I had hoped to get an extra attempt in on CD 12 but :oops: maybe the pressure but it just wasn't happening!! I think we will have to stick with DTD pm as am seems to have become an issue.

This reminds me that I was talking with someone at work who has 2 girls and she was saying she was worried her period was late recently so was testing like crazy to make sure she wasn't pregnant. She then said something like how when you want to be pregnant you just calmly wait until you are late and then test. I thought maybe that is why she has girls if she could be that relaxed about testing when she is actually TTC!!

Hi all - i haven't been around for a while because I've been really scared I was going to miscarry. Just wanted to update: I'm still pregnant and we saw a teeny tiny heartbeat on a scan today. I'll go back in two weeks for another scan and hope to see a healthy baby in there. Still very very cautious after a loss last time and a scary start to this pg... but today it looks good. :) :) :) Thanks for all the kind words. I'm now going to catch up on all the news! I made the mistake of telling DH that we are in the 2ww and he was not very supportive. I think maybe he's freaking out that we might have screwed ourselves out of using Clomid by potentially getting pregnant before we had it. :/ I wish he would have thought of that sooner. So, my appt with my RE is the day after tomorrow. Do you think I should ask him to do a blood pregnancy test? I've never had one of those before, so I'm not familiar with how to request one. I haven't tested yet on a HPT because I'm only 8dpo. I've never had a positive that early before. They usually don't show up as positive for me until a week after my missed period (really frustrating!!) I guess I could just wait and see if AF actually shows up, lol! I'm obviously not going to start taking the Clomid until after she shows up anyway. I think I'm just antsy to know one way or another if I am pregnant. Time is going by so slowly!!! :(

If you're going to the doc, and you do want a blood test done - just tell them that you did test+ on a hpt.
