Pbn - do you hold your tests up against a bright light or shine a torch through them? I have heard of people doing this when testing 'early'. Not sure if you would see a line anyways (whether + or -) as the libe would have to be there to start with - but might be worth a try? :wink:

Quick question. I've been having a dull/sharp ache on and off all day lh side almost but just below level with top of pubic bone around the bikini line area is the best I can describe. This will sound like a weird question but is there anything there that could be reproductive parts? I'm not fantastic with anatomy as you can tell lol I know generally where things are but didn't think anything related was this low?? But then again your developing baby sits in behind pubic bone until rising above doesn't it? God I must sound so dense!!

Pbn even though there's not anything there there's something called "referred pain" in which you feel pain in a different spot than where the actual organ would be. Its usually above the organ and they say it's because when we were developing in the womb and all of our organs were up higher early on, that's when the nerves formed and sometimes your nerves send the message of "pain" to your brain but the spot that hurts isn't where you organ is anymore. I don't know if that made sense or if you were looking for that in depth of an answer :rofl:. Nurse here, over explaining things :oops:.

Any-who lol, Its 2:45 am here now. I just woke up because I passed out a few hours ago and my night shift brain just woke me up and Im wide awake! I have to get up at 7:30 to get DS on the bus and I MIGHT, MAYBE, WHO KNOWS.... test lol. Its still really early but maybe just for fun since I have like 25 wondfos!

Whichever you like ttc2015 some people like to stay in the month they conceived in its entirely up to you. Most of us follow anyone that's moved into the next month in any case, we can cheer you on whichever thread you choose to be in :) I say follow but I really mean stalk lol [emoji14] [emoji15] [emoji6]

Any charting pros? I woke up at 1 with dd and then temped at 2:30ish because she was crying again. I temped again at 5:30 after having a couple (but probably not 3) hours of sleep. Which one should I go by? I usually temp at 5ish and I was up twice at night with dd rubbing her back. I'm so exhausted and annoyed because I was hoping to get some good temps at the end of my cycle to know what to look for. It's gone up from yesterday but I can't trust it. I know I'm not pregnant from the bfn yesterday and I have zero af or pg symptoms. This only happens when af is coming.

If it were me I would use the 530 temp as you were able to still get a couple of hrs sleep and it's closer to your usual time. I'm definitely not a charting pro tho [emoji4]

What happens if you use a temp corrector to change it to 5:30? Does it give you a similar temp?

I would use the 5:30 temp since you had a few hours of sleep and it's around your usual temp time. I've been charting for 4.5 years and have had that happen from time to time. I wouldn't use a BBT adjuster for a three hour difference since everyone's metabolism is different.

BFN today 10dpo [emoji107] I am wondering if I am 10 or 8 dpo though! Looking back [emoji57] advanced and FAM put me as 10 but I am surprised I would ovulate so early? And I had a patch of watery CM on day 12. Who knows.

Progesterone results aren't back yet, thyroid is 2.3 and should be between 1 and 2 so is pretty much spot on.

I do often ovulate 2 days after a +ve Opk so it's a definite possibility! I'll Prob be late for AF and get my hopes up when actually im 2 days behind [emoji23] time will tell!

That sucks about your sleep [emoji107][emoji107] im lucky with mine they both sleep really well. I feel completely wiped now even if I have to just get up the once! Id never have another baby like number 2 he's a lil superstar! If he was like number 1 was as a baby I would have been straight on that implant! Hahaha!

I don't personally poptart but I know girls that did were given progesterone supplements and that helped wonderfully. It's actually a good thing you know because this can be fixed! I wish I had a clue as to why we weren't conceiving. That's also not bad at all, I've known people in single digits.

This is why I'm done charting. I'm that unlucky person who won't have a temp drop until af shows. My sleeping has been horrible but the temps aren't so wacky that I would discount them. Thanks Quinn. Maybe it's just a weak ovulation? My hunch has been that im ovulating/fertilising but not implanting. But I can't be sure! I remember last time I was referred I had months of bloods and some months I would ovulate others I wouldn't.

Bless you it must be hard not knowing! Has hubby been checked out? It will make it all that bit more special when we do fall as it's been a struggle to do so! Xx

Same as me Poptart! BFN at 10dpo with an IC. I also O'd earlier than normal on CD12 and my first two post O temps were low so I also thought I could be just 8dpo. I did O on CD12 with DS2 though so who knows. I'll use my FRER tomorrow.

Yep. It was how I knew I was pregnant before testing with DS1 and how I knew I was pregnant with this guy. I NEVER get bad heartburn, but both times I was bending over to pick up something and had a horrible wet burp that never went away without taking medicine.

FX it is a good sign for you!!!

poptart mine came back in September at 26.6 so considered borderline low. Just posted today asking Atomic for advice and she said that that cycle is no reflection on cycles to come so basically not to take it as gospel. I'm seeing a doc next week just to go through options etc, she'll probably refer me for more 7dpo bw and if we are unsuccessful in my November cycle I don't mind waiting on answers til next year as we won't be trying for a bit anyway. Hoping it doesn't mean anything for you poptart x

Same here hun. I haven't been on BC since DS2 was born in Feb 2014 but even though we have had several accidents since then we've only be actively ttc since August. I actually haven't been on BC since March 2010 when I came off it in anticipation of ttc DS1 lol (we weren't ttc until May 2011 after we got married so no one can say I wasn't dedicated hahaha!)

I am woefully impatient too!!! I want it to happen like yesterday :P And I totally agree with you, I want everyone on this thread to fall together!! The more bfps I see the more I think "Aww delighted for her but really gonna miss her next cycle!" If we were to all fall together or within a few weeks of each other it would be beyond exciting! Sharing all those milestones would be so much fun!!!

Pop tart, I have no idea about where numbers should be but when my FS rang me with results she said mine were really high and I thought she said 168 - but maybe it was only 68 as 168 sounds crazy compared to 30.... Wish I had of paid more attention to what she said but she lost me when she said she thinks there were 2 eggs! Lol
But that was taken on 5dpo so don't know if that makes a difference :wink:

I have some but can't take it if they're planning on doing more bloods. I feel a bit better now xx

I am. I've got the same churning bubbly stomach every morning that I had with my June BFP. At least I can have toast for bfast now (which fixes it) as I'm off the LE diet now as this was my last cycle ttc.

I'm 5dpo and it feels like it's been a year!!! Temp has stayed fairly high though. I'm so paranoid.. I keep feeling little twinges and aches here and there but they're so subtle that on a normal day I wouldn't have even noticed! But now I'm over here freaking out that it could be a baby! I highly doubt I'm pregnant.. I don't know why! I just have a feeling I'm not :/ we'll see!

Understand that feeling well Nann! I go from high to low - and then very low. Have to keep reminding myself that 8dpo is still quite early and to not completely throw in the towel until 10dpo and even then by all accounts that's still early!!! Its an awful ride this 2ww! I thought for sure with all the cramps and twinges I was having I'd get even a squinter this morning lol!! But on the other hand if/when I get a bfn tomorrow I wont be surprised as it will be expected... you never know though, maybe that extremely elusive second line might just show up :) fx for you in a few days time! When will you start testing?

I can see a shadow when I hold it up to my heat light in the bathroom but I'm guessing that all frer's have that line there?
Still had a churning tummy this morning and temp is still up high at 37.1.
Will take one last test tomorrow morn (as I only have one left! Lol) and then I'll know for sure.

Normally it's 13-14 days but my temp tails off after 8 or 9dpo.. And hasn't this month. I had an inkling this month was my month too as ive had stabby pains in my boobs, some nasty headaches and my temp has stayed up. But had the most negative negatives you've ever seen lol

Have been feeling crampy today so reckon AF is round the corner! And DH has said ive been a snappy cow [emoji23]

Pbn - how would you describe the frer line that you speak of? I think I can see a line on mine but it's not obvious unless you know where to look - I'm sooooo confused!!!!!

The line I can almost see is where the test line would be immi but its thin. If you pull apart a dry test you can easily see an indent line but there's no dye in it. Hope this helps :)

You mean the First Response Early Result (FRER) test? That's what a lot of us use on here but they are most expensive at a real store. I buy mine on Amazon-- 3 for $12 with Subscribe & Save. I use internet cheapies first (if testing before 11dpo), then FRER on 11dpo.

Thanks ladies - I really hope it's starts the ball rolling for more bfp's for you all. I'm quietly shitting myself!!!! Lol. After what happened last time, it's hard not to worry about if it will happen again, but for today, I'm just going to get on with things and try and worry about that later.

If it helps anyone, I usually (for all of my other pregnancies got a easy to read bfp at 9dpo but this time it's still not at that easy to read (my definition anyways) at 11dpo, so it could just be late implanters for those who are 11, 12, 13 dpo - keep up that hope!!! :wink:

I bought some pregnosis tests yesterday and this mornings was a stark bfn at 11dpo. I feel I can safely say farewell to you all. I wont be moving into Nov thread as I feel alot like a bad smell that just wont go away lol. Very doubtful we'll continue ttc and there would be no swaying on the tiny chance we do. How many times can one say to themself 'just one more cycle'. Wishing you all the very best and bfps galore. I'll miss you all but will check in from time to time to see where everyones at.

DH got blood work back from his work (he works at a clinic- tested his blood off the record out of curiosity)

T levels range from 350-850. And that said, 350 being dangerously low..

DH's levels are 150.... I'm terrified... I'm a horrible person... I don't want to be pregnant anymore cuz I'm scared it a girl.. My GD is so horrible I hate it.. I don't even want to try again if I'm not pg.. Knowing his levels now it's like telling me I will have all girls. :(

Nan, one factor like that doesn't mean you'll only ever have girls. Atomic has said it over and over again: it's not ever just ONE thing that sways. Your condition matters too, in fact A LOT of ladies here had husbands that didn't do anything to sway at all but they still got their desired gender. Don't lose hope. :big hug:

I think the TWW is a time we may want to see pimples! LOL I always break out really bad too early in pregnancy. With DS1, right before my BFP I kept breaking out on the sides of my face, then with DS2 my forehead broke out horribly and with the baby we lost, it was pimple city on my forehead during the TWW. lol

Thank you for the kind words everyone! I'm abit of an emotional mess atm lol! Trying to come to terms with things and fighting the 'one more go' demon lol. Interestingly enough dh brought up that he read an article in our Sunday paper that people that have sex more often fall pregnant easier - now I know in theory of course this is right heeelloooo lol but it actually states that the female body is less likely to kill off sperm if its used to it being there iykwim. We were pretty much only dtd during our attempt/s so now of course I'm wondering if it was my body causing the bfns as dh was releasing regularly to keep the swimmers fresh. Hhmmm....

Fertility friend told me today that my data has changed enough that they're changing my ovulation day to cd15 instead of cd13... We made no attempts on cd15. Only on cd14 we made two attempts..

I got a +OPK on cd13 at 8:00pm..
All +opk's on cd14
and then a -OPK on cd15 at 8:00am.. But fertility friend said I ovulated now on cd15??

Should I be worried we missed ovulation? Or attempted too early??

Having an attempt in the one to two days before ovulation has the best odds of conception. It gives the sperm enough time to capacitate and get up there so they can be waiting for the egg. When we got pregnant with DS2, our attempts were the same as yours, 4 days before O, 2 days before and 1 day before. That cycle I also had a neg. OPK the day of O but positives in the 1-2 days before.

I think I agree with FF on your O date. I see you took your temp at a different time that day. Was it a big difference in when you normally take it?

Not really no. I'm not good with temping not the same time on other days, but around and over ovulation I'm pretty good about every morning around 7:00-8:00.

But that's comforting to know that if we did attempt early that maybe the sperm were waiting there for the egg.

Nann3r, it is quite possible you didn't ovulate until two days after your positive opk, but bear in mind that if you are temping in the morning it is also possible for you to ovulate that afternoon and your temp still wouldn't show as having gone up until the following morning. In terms of chances of conception, I'd say your attempts are excellent - greater chance of pregnancy from 0-1 and 0-2 attempts than 0 day attempts.

My chart this cycle still has me scratching my head, according to when ff says I ovulated I had two attempts on 0-2 and one on 0-1 - and pregnant! Not quite what we had planned, and I am trying not to stress about it as nothing that can be done now! I'd try to advise you the same - no point worrying about it now, the good thing is that you clearly ovulated and you had some good attempts!

Poptart-- looks like you are in the exact same boat as me. FF says I'm 14dpo as well, but my normal LP is 13 days and my temp is still high but BFN on a cheapie test yesterday. My first 2 post-O temps are low and I believe I O'd on CD14 not CD12. Same thing happened last cycle as well and I had to go and overide FF when AF didn't show on time. So I'm assuming AF will arrive on Thurs now and that I am really only 12dpo today.

I'm 9dpo too! My early tests come in the mail today but I work so I won't be able to test until 3:00!! I got a big pack of cheapies but they are the 10mlU. So we'll see if we get anything!

There are times I'm like no there's no way I'm pregnant. And then there are time where I'm like... Omg.. That could be a pregnancy symptom... Like my subtle acne all the sudden. The lower back ache and hen yesterday I had a strong menstrual-like cramp for like a minute! AF isn't due till next week! We'll see what the tests have to say!

To be honest I think I'm 13dpo and fertility friend got my O day wrong! My LP is usually 13 days and ive had a dip so no doubt AF is round the corner! Ive done several tests -all starkers [emoji35][emoji107] horrible though being in limbo! Last test I did was 2 days ago 11 or 13dpo so pretty safe to say im out!

Why oh why did I go out and buy more frers [emoji23] came home and tested after 3 coffees, a glass of water and a small glass of coke zero in the four hours prior to testing. BUT af was due today and they say you can test anytime on day of missed period. My bfn this morning was on a pregnosis brand. This is my frer very diluted wee test. And once again my eyes are playing tricks on me and I think I can see a hint of a line like almost every other frer I've done lol. Can anyone see anything in all honesty I think I'm trying to hard to see something so I think its there. Plus at 13dpo there should be a definate line hey! [emoji23]2827528276

Well no surprise bfp for me. After doing a hold I tested at 1.30pm and thought I'd check cm at the same time... you guessed it, the witch arrived at that very moment, not even while I was poas. Thanks af for holding out all morning, getting my stupid hopes up, letting me poas and then showing up a minute later. Haven't decided hopper although I'm dreading the thought of another cycle and I dont think that's the right attitude to have lol!! I really dont want to be ttc this close to xmas either. I've been off diet yet again since day after o and I dont think going on and off diet every two weeks is at all beneficial for a sway that is reliant on just diet and one attempt. IF I did go another cycle I'd be dtd cd7,8,9 to overload my body with sperm so hopefully it would be used to having it around instead of killing it off and an attempt at cd12/13 (assuming I'd get pos opk then) may give me better odds. Just wish I'd thought to do this sooner but with dh's shift work it's impossible to do a regular bd schedule. He'll actually be on annual leave during my next fertile period so at least that side of it wouldn't be a problem for once... anyway I'll let you know in a couple weeks if we tried again.
