Sorry it's a bfn Momamia. :( I still have my FX it's still too early.

I've noticed my temps have been flat for several days now (consistently at 97.7), could it mean my hormones are in balance? My temps usually go up and down day to day so maybe it's a good thing they're not fluctuating? I tried taking my temp much later in the day to see what it would be and I got a different reading so I don't think it's a problem with my thermometer.

Could be. Mine tends to hover around the same low temp before O and then the I noticed in my bfp cycle, it hovered at the same high temp after O.

Hello, thought I would move over from October 2ww. Now 11 dpo after our first month of ttc a girl. Was very strict with first attempt and will be amazed if it has worked. I have long irregular cycles so AF could be due any time from Monday next week to Friday. Couldn't resist any longer so did a clear blue test yesterday and it was a bfn, but I am planning to test again to be sure on Monday.

CD9 here and holy HELL my BBs are killing me. Last cycle they were excruciatingly painful for maybe 2-3 days before I got the solid smiley opk but I know last cycle wasn't the norm so I'm not going off that really. Had our first attempt for this cycle last night so will try have another on Sunday night to go with the e3d thing. Feeling a little crampy but opk still negative. Test line is still quite dark though, would love early O! It's DHs birthday on Monday and if we conceived on his birthday my due date would be the day before my 34th birthday next year :) A girl can dream right ;)

CD19 today and still no ovulation. I'm starting to hate taking OPKs LOL I don't know why I'm so annoyed though because I don't usually ovulate this early. I guess I was just hoping for another early ov. like last cycle. *sigh* For a week now my temp has been at 97.7. It's so weird my temp has been staying even for so long.

I'm sorry momamia for temp drop and AF. Maybe something good will come out of your break (like an unexpected BFP). Your chart looked so good too.

So my temps, though went down, are looking okay. I am still crampy, makes it 11 days of crampy and I'm 7dpo. Still have heartburn and nausea, last night was a trip to the bathroom. DH really thinks I'm pregnant but I don't want to get my hopes up and then be disappointed and the Flu is going around at work.

Do you know if you have PCOS? My cycles have all had mid-cycles spotting/bleeding this year and recently it was confirmed I have PCOS. I had been told in the past I didn't have it and I'm also in the healthy weight range so it is sometimes assumed you have to be overweight but that isn't the case.

Anyway, my FS has put me on metformin to try to sort out the hormone imbalance. He said that is what is causing the spotting and long cycles.

Do you know if you have PCOS? My cycles have all had mid-cycles spotting/bleeding this year and recently it was confirmed I have PCOS. I had been told in the past I didn't have it and I'm also in the healthy weight range so it is sometimes assumed you have to be overweight but that isn't the case.

I actually got some EWCM today so I'm cautiously optimistic. FX!

You could also be having ovulation spotting, it is another secondary symptom for ovulation.

AFM I'm on CD11 and opks are still the exact same as they were on CD6. The test line is quite strong but not positive. CM starting to turn a bit watery but CP still firm and closed. O pains have started but I usually get them for about a week prior to actual O so don't think it will be a birthday conception lol. Definitely wishful thinking. Tomorrow will make our attempt e4d as last dtd was Thursday but after that I think we will do e3d. The boys are ill again, this time with a stomach bug so really hoping we can find time to fit in a quick attempt tomorrow when DH gets home! I'm SO tired and feel a little ill myself - sexy right haha!

Thankyou! It looks like O was CD18 with my temp jump, presuming it now stays higher [emoji4] what will be will be I guess, I would have been happier with O-1 attempt but like you said there have been a few On O day so you just never know your luck :)

I haven't had it before until this year but I have always had irregular cycles. My body does the same thing with trying to ovulate where I get EWCM and a LH surge but not quite enough to ovulate. For me it is PCOS causing it but it sounds like it could be other factors for you, being underweight would make it harder to ovulate. Good luck!

Hopper, hopefully you will o soon! Do you usually get quite strong opk test line many days before +opk? Hopefully your boys will get well soon. I know how exhausting it can be when kids are ill often. Our DS1 has fever about every 3-5 weeks :(

I'm waiting for af. I've had the feeling it would arrive soon about three days now. Maybe today? Of course I hope af wouldn't arrive and would be just amazing to be pregnant but I really don't think that's the case this cycle. I'm 6dpo.

I'm just so fed up with LE right know. I just want to eat everything in sight lol. Today we have Father's day and I just wish I could eat all the delicious food and desserts but I'm staying strict.. I had a cheat night a week ago when we had a girls night out. There will be many girls night outs in the upcoming few weeks and little worried I'm going to have too many cheat nights but oh well. I've been on quite strict LE for 19 weeks now. Never thought I could do it when I first found this site snd started to learn about swaying and LE diet!

2xblue, I hope this is your month! Sometimes feeling like AF is coming can be a good sign. :) I had the worst cramps with my last bfp cycle. FX for you! I totally get being fed up with LE. I've been on it for 25 weeks and I'm so over it (and the exercise)! I just want to eat whenever and whatever I want. We have Thanksgiving coming up soon and I so desperately want to be able to gorge on turkey and pie! lol We must have some strong willpower to be LE for so long!

CD20 for me today and still no O but my temp broke its pattern of being 97.7 for the past week so it's not flat anymore! lol Had a little more pink streaked ewcm this morning so I'm still hoping that maybe just maybe it's a good sign of O (please?!). I bought the CB advanced digital OPKs yesterday ($40!!) and forgot to use my FMU so I squeezed out what I could an hour later LOL I don't know if that still counts or not. It was neg. but I don't know if it needs a "baseline" to go by in order for it to detect a surge in my estrogen and LH first? I used them when we were TTC DS2 and I got a neg. the first time I used it then the next day got a "high" reading. I really need to O soon not just for sanity's sake but also because DH is getting a little restless and can't contain his friskiness much longer. :giggle: Has anyone else's libido pretty much died since going LE?

My cycles used to be regular, like clockwork every 35 days exactly I'd get AF but since my early 20s they've been irregular, even before having kids. Sometimes I do wonder if I could have PCOS tendencies because I noticed when TTC our first, my body would gear up to O a couple of times before being able to do it. I was so close to seeing a doctor about it but just a couple of days before one year of TTC, I found out I was pregnant so I figured it wasn't an issue at that point. I was a healthier weight back then and ate pretty well so I don't know why my body struggled to ovulate.

What is everyone doing to relax? That's my main goal this cycle. I'm naturally anxious and my job is stressful so I'm constantly stressed all day. I started doing fertility yoga poses for about 10 minutes after my morning workout. Any other ideas? I have a hard time shutting my mind off once it starts going.

I get being anxious! Waiting for ovulation to happen is about as stressful as the TWW. I've been watching movies I enjoy to pass the time. I also love to bake so I've been doing that a lot. I send it all to work with DH so I'm not tempted! lol His co-workers love me. ;) It's still a bit hard for me to relax completely though because DH is working 70+ hours a week right now and it's just me taking care of the littles. I think doing anything you enjoy will help like relaxing in a hot bath, listening to music, doing puzzles...whatever it is you like!

So I'm a little concerned.. AF isn't due till Wednesday. And normally I'm like clockwork.. 28 day cycle every month. Well today I had one clot of pink-ish mucous and nothing else.. No period. No other mucous... Just one clump of thick pink mucous.. :( I know I'd only be 2 weeks along- but could that have been a miscarriage??? Since im there's no sign of AF?? :( yet anyways.

I doubt it's a miscarriage as you'd likely wouldn't start bleeding until after your period is due, though not always with chemicals. I don't think that's what is happening though. It could be that you ovulated later than you thought and it's implantation bleeding or it could be the start of AF. I hope it's the former!

I'm 13 dpo. AF due anytime from Monday to Friday, I'm v irregular, think it will appear mid week. Used one if those digital tests and it said not pregnant so that seems pretty conclusive! Just bought lots of different tests online so I'm better prepared next month! I was kind of expecting it to not work first time as had been so strict, but with my boys I got bfps straight away so part of me wasn't expecting it if that makes sense! Does anyone use rephresh or lube? Someone mentioned that they can really cut odds of conception?

I think a lot of ladies have dropped using rephresh and any other lubes that hinder conception. One attempt seems to be far more effective at swaying pink. I think using lubes on top of one attempt is just too much and doesn't leave enough sperm.

I HAVE to use a lube for comfort TTCing or not. You can use a tiny amount of Sylk or any lube of your choice, if you need it for comfort. As far as using it to for swaying purposes, most don't use them anymore as the previous poster stated.

I just don't want you to think no one uses lubes- some people need them to make BDing tolerable!

ksmom, thank you really hope that would be the case but still I doubt it. I remember when I was pregnant for the first time I felt all the time like af would arrive before making a pregnancy test. I went running today and could only run for about 30min because I had strange feeling in my tummy. Lots of pressure. Had to walk the rest 30min. I think it's just af making it's way (I remember when I got pregnant with DS2 I had this pressure too before making a test BUT still I'm not getting my hopes up at all). Last cycle my lp was 7 days. Now I'm dpo6, I hope lp will be atleast little bit longer than last cycle. I'm cd28 today. My cycles have been 27 days so this is good I'm already cd28 lol. But I o'd later this cycle than last one.

Yes we swayers have alot of will power for sure! We don't have Thanksgiving here, next holiday celebration is Christmas for me and I really really want to be pregnant by then! Lol.

Ksmom, hope you will o soon, both for your and dh's sake lol! I've had pretty much no libido after DS2 was born, but this month something has happened as I've felt I would be really in the mood for bd haha!

Ttc, you are not out yet until af arrives. I used Rephresh in my first cycle ttc but I dropped it after that as I don't want to cut odds of conception too much. But lube is fine if needed!

Ttc2015 in regards to lube I have used a little sylk last 2 cycles but not this attempt as I wanted to try without. When I conceived DS3 I used rephresh, sylk and Acigel with a 3 day cutoff lol I think it depends on the individual - for some it's ok and others it is known to really cut the odds of conception I guess if you are wanting to get pregnant quickly I wouldn't use it :)

He's away til tomorrow morning (though he hinted earlier he might get home tonight but I'm so tired with sick little men I won't be awake to meet him!) if its a +opk tomorrow morning we MIGHT be able to get an attempt in in the afternoon. Otherwise it'd be tomorrow evening.
What I'm wondering now is since we are doing e3d should we have the attempt tomorrow (which would put us at e4d as he's been away the weekend) regardless of how the opk looks? I mean going by previous cycles my body could be messing me around so I'm sure sticking with the e3d plan is the way to go. It would be the BUSINESS if the opk was + tomorrow lol!! Not asking for much :P

Thanks mammacass! I'm thinking O is definitely approaching, CP has raised up very high which is usually a couple days prior to O. It hasn't softened very much yet so I have a couple of days to go for sure. Glad DH isn't here now, I am so tired after this weekend! DS1 will be kept home from preschool tomorrow again, he is really unwell poor guy :( And I really don't feel great myself. Hope that the illness I feel brewing holds off and doesn't end up delaying O for me!!

Jumping into the lube topic, we normally use a little bit to help for comfort too. I have been using sylk and conceived this year with it but decided to get some sperm friendly stuff instead. I got the fertile care brand and it is terrible. Its so gluggy so I don't know how it helps sperm. I should have just got some preseed but its pricey!

I'm pretty tender at the moment around my ovaries and it was uncomfortable BDing, I'm remembering why I wasn't so keen to do clomid again after the last time! At least it feels like I should ovulate soon. Not temping this cycle but might try some Opks to decide if I should BD Wednesday or Thursday. Going away with the family (my parents, bro, sis and their families) so not sure how we will go getting any attempts in on the weekend. Just going to get one more in before and hope for the best!

I remember your last chart being quick tricky is all.... as for lines on opks after you get a definate positive you should have oed within 48 hours. In saying that what time were you taking them? Bit confused now lol I took them at 10am and 2pm

Went to my first appointment with an RE last week, really like them and looking forward to getting some of the numbers back this week from my bloodwork. They said due to my age that they want to be aggressive with the plans, they offered Clomid right away. I am still researching and trying to decide if we want to take it, 1 in 10 chance of twins is a little scary (DH's mother is a twin, identical so it shouldn't be hereditary but it still in the back of my head, lol). I would be OK if we had twins naturally but to take the drugs and up the chances is something different. They also mentioned IUI, doing an HSG, and doing a sperm analysis on DH. He's not to happy about that but I think he will do it; I won't do an HSG ( which I hear can be painful) until he does that, don't want to go through the procedure unless I have to.

As soon as I get a positive OPK, which I hope will be today or tomorrow, I have to go get blood taken to check my numbers. Since I am mid cycle we are just going to monitor the bloodwork and see what the numbers are like before making the Clomid decision. Finally bought a customized plan from Atomic a week ago and going to add a few of her suggestions into this month.

Fingers crossed this is everybody's BFP month!

Well 9dpo and took a test, bfn, though I know it's way to early for me to test, I've always BFP late. I'm still crampy, day 13 of crampiness :worry: and another trip to the bathroom last night. I keep going back and forth thinking this will finally be out month and then convincing myself that I'm out because I do t want to be disappointed. I guess no matter how much I want to convince myself so I don't get disappointed I still hope I'm totally wrong. I'm going to wait to test till Nov 14 or 15 like I originally planned since that's when AF is supposed to come.

Thanks Poptart. Doesn't sound very pleasant at all:( I keep hoping that I get a BFP this month so we don't have to go through all the testing and have to make the decision to use or not to use Clomid. I guess I will just wait and see how my bloodwork levels are when they come back.

Do you worry about the increased chances of multiples? The idea of twins doesn't really bother me except the fact of the $$ for daycare would be crazy!!!

It isn't good for sperm health (how old is your DH?) and it makes it so easy to miss O. I'd switch to every 4 days now and continue till either AF arrives or you get a BFP!

We planned on doing e4d this cycle but time slipped away from us this week. We will bd again in 4 days and def do e4d next cycle if this isn't our month. Dh is 33 and although we didn't bd every 4 days this month, he did help himself every 4 days so as far as speed quality goes I think we should be okay. I hope. I want a temp rise tomorrow morning right? Or the next day? I haven't felt ANY O Pains at all but we dtd around lunch today.

I wonder why my body gears up to O and then just doesn't - I hope it will gear up again but actually release the eggie! CD 13 today, would be an early O for me anyway lol. Mammacass, I'm sure that being unwell is actually a good thing for a pink sway??!!! I have read about a few people who conceived girls (who weren't swaying, had given up and got unexpected bfps) who were unwell immediately after and unable to eat etc. I'm sure I have read that this can increase your chances of getting a pink one! Sorry you are feeling rotten though x

Still waiting on the results from the bloodwork they took at the end of last week, hopefully I will hear something today. When I due finally get a +OPK I will be going in for more bloodwork.

Currently CD16 and not seeing anything close to positive OPK's yet, and of course DH will be gone from Thursday - Sat or Sunday. Figures I was sick last week so I think that is delaying O and DH won't be around when I do O. I will make sure we get attempts in tonight, maybe tomorrow night and then definitely Thursday morning before he leaves and hope the swimmers survive.

I asked Atomic about Clomid and twins and she said they haven't had hardly any TTC boy sway people having twins. She also said most people that take Clomid have PCOS and having PCOS increases your chances of twins just by itself, so since I don't have that I am not as worried. If it happens, it happens. I am waiting to get my FSH number before making a final decision about the Clomid.

Hopper, is it possible you did actually ovulate but it was just a short or weak surge so you didn't get a definite pos. OPK? Sometimes you can get OPKs that are *almost* positive and then they fade to really light then bam, blazing positive a few days later.

Mamacass, sorry you're feeling like crud. I do believe feeling sick is good for a girl sway though. ;)

CD22 for me today. Got a blinking smiley on CB advanced OPK this morning and my cheapie OPKs were getting darker yesterday. Not holding out much hope though. LOL My body loves to play tricks on me. We're doing E4D with my cycles being so irregular and the last time we DTD was two days ago so I'm a bit nervous if I end up with an O-3 attempt but we'll see. I got pregnant last time on O-3 however I think that was either pure luck or I o'ed a little later than I thought.

Hopper, is it possible you did actually ovulate but it was just a short or weak surge so you didn't get a definite pos. OPK? Sometimes you can get OPKs that are *almost* positive and then they fade to really light then bam, blazing positive a few days later.

CD22 for me today. Got a blinking smiley on CB advanced OPK this morning and my cheapie OPKs were getting darker yesterday. Not holding out much hope though. LOL My body loves to play tricks on me. We're doing E4D with my cycles being so irregular and the last time we DTD was two days ago so I'm a bit nervous if I end up with an O-3 attempt but we'll see. I got pregnant last time on O-3 however I think that was either pure luck or I o'ed a little later than I thought.

I'm really hoping you are right hun, that I had seen almost +opks and then nothing followed by blazingly obvious +opks! I remember when doing opks on DS1 that was what happened and it was this post that jogged my memory, so thank you very much for that :) I hope that's what's happening this cycle too!!

Hi all. I just had +OPKs on Sunday and Monday, CD14 and CD15. We DTD Sunday night, and then again Monday night. We are swaying pink, but I felt like I needed the second attempt. This is our 2nd month swaying. I didn't get much EWCM this month, which is weird for me, and that is making me worried. I'll wait until 13-14dpo to test.

I can definitely see where you are coming from! Hips were propped here after our Thursday attempt and again on Monday lol. Was hesitant at first but feel ok with it now. Hopefully it's that that makes all the difference ;)

So test line on opks is practically gone, all cramping has stopped and CM is gone. This is exactly what happened last month except I got the solid smiley opk whereas I didn't get a solid line on the Wondfo this cycle. The closest to solid lines I got was on CD12 and we dtd that PM but line was gone in the AM so hoping IF that was O we didn't miss it!! Hopefully my body is just messing with me and I will have a strong O later in my cycle!

Question girls - how long does SHOW last during O, like on average? My opk this AM was neg, had some cramping and a (tmi lol) gush of CM so I did a 4 hour hold and another opk. The test line is showing stronger again and when I checked CP which was high and generally medium last night it was soft high and open. The opk isn't + YET but if we are doing e3d our last attempt was two days ago so am hoping its not +ive til tomorrow!! I will continue my POAS addiction later lmbo!!

In other news my GD reared its f-ugly head this morning!! :( I mostly have it under control except under certain circumstances. A really really good friend of mine had her gender scan this AM. She has a little boy at home same age as DS1. Her DH brought her on a night away and they just decided to try for #2 and boom she was pg with one try. Of course shes having a girl and told me on FB earlier. I dunno why but PP families set me off. A few of our friends have PP families and they were all repeating the same phrases that she has "the perfect family now" and that they "knew she could do it" Argh, just annoyed me that it sparked my GD!

Hi everyone alot to catch up on!

Quinn they say 'typically' sperm takes 36-48 hours to recover but also that that is just a best estimation and can vary. From what I've read anyway so there will be varying reports. I'm only just appreciating how hard boy sway attempts are now! All I can say is with both my ds's I had multiple attempts - the first was by using fertility calculator online so I cant even say exactly how many attempts, the second ds I had attempts 3 days (pm) b4 o, day b4 o (pm) and morning of o. I would just do what you can and get an attempt in every 24-48 hours until you o. Sorry I'm not more help.

Signingmommy, I see a very faint line! :D The same thing happened to me last cycle. I took a test at 9dpo, didn't get a chance to look at it for another hour and there was a suuuuper faint line so I drove myself crazy staring at it all day. Next day, BFP! FX for you!!

Hopper, I'd keep taking OPKs just in case. If you did ovulate, I hope you caught the eggie! I don't know how long SHOW lasts....maybe 3-4 days? For me it can go on for several days but I also have trouble ovulating.
I get annoyed too when people get their PP. I have a friend who has a DS1 the same age as my DS2 and as soon as she found out she was pregnant, she insisted it was a girl. As in there was no way it could ever be a boy because she wanted a girl and that's what she felt it was. Well, it's a girl. Of course I got upset because not only did she get the girl she wanted but it was also an "oopsie" baby while here I am eating LE for 6 months and exercising my butt off on the off chance I could maybe, possibly, but probably not get a girl. *sigh* I really hope we both get our little pink bundles we've worked so hard for.

Quinn, when in doubt hump it out. I'm kidding...sorta. :rofl: I'm not exactly sure what is recommended for a blue sway but I know for my DS1 we DTD every day for a week(!) until O and with DS2 our attempts were O-4, O-2, and O-1. Since you DTD this morning, I'd wait until tomorrow to do it again.

Just wrote atomic because I'm at a loss on what to do. I got my digi positive on Monday, so we dtd that day at lunch. My temps haven't been accurate at all because i dropped my thermometer one day and had to get up to find it forever before temping one day, and then I got horrible sleep the other day. I don't think my temp has risen but I honestly can't be sure. Loads of EWCM today.... So is our attempt too far out if I ovulate at some point today?

I am currently on CD17 and still waiting for my +OPK. It does seem to finally be getting darker today, I will be testing again in an hour. We had attempts this morning and will tonight and tomorrow morning as well since DH will be leaving tomorrow morning and not coming back until Saturday or Sunday. So fingers crossed for a + test today!

Got 2 of my bloodtest results back yesterday from the RE and they were both in the normal range; Just waiting on one more test to finish. They did say if I didn't get a +OPK by Friday I would have to get bloodwork taken to see were my levels are.

It's funny Quinn, I get the the same and I have 3 boys. So many women I know openly "pity" me!!! I guess I'm over sensitive but I really feel that where I live girls are valued much more than boys, all the stereotypes are positives for girls (quiet, calm, well behaved, lady like etc etc) and negative for boys (noisy, our of control, dirty, slower to learn etc etc) which really bugs me as I know this is a load of nonsense and people are just lazy with this!!!! Especially those who have one of each ('oh they are SO different, because they are different genders' - no, all kids are different because they are freaking individuals!!!!) I actually think there are so many positives about having more than one child of the same gender. Rant over!

First was from an old man at the shopping centre - he was sweet enough but told me You poor thing you deserve a gold silver and bronze medal for coping with 3 boys then told me he did it the right way and had a boy then a girl. [emoji35] then a few days ago a guy I know (who happens to be 1 of 5 boys?!) said I don't know how you do it with 3 boys it would drive me crazy. [emoji35]

Oh stop girls I hate the common gender associations! It really is just laziness and people always wanting something to say. A lot of PP mom's I know can be quite pitying of me having two of the same sex. Quite honestly I pity them for never knowing the beauty of having two of the same. My guys are the very best of friends they are close enough in age they will probably have the same buddies growing up like my DH and his brother had as they were similarly spaced. I remember Atomic saying, or rather writing, a great quote - boys should come in pairs! It's SO true.

Quinn I find in my area girls are very very much favoured over boys. I was asked why was I so happy on DS2 to be having another boy. I was asked by another person on DS1 no less was I not disappointed in having a son instead of a daughter. The girls section in shops around here is 3-4 times larger than the pitiful boys section. Maybe my GD makes me more sensitive though, I dunno! I hope all of us here don't have to feel like this for much longer! X

Mammacass SHOW means Soft, High, Open and Wet during O. I only started tracking my CP two cycles ago but sure both of those cycles were crazzzzzzzy so not a lot to go by so I'm fairly clueless here lol.

Thanks poptart :) I honestly don't know any more. When I did opks to conceive our boys I am fairly sure I Oed within 24 hours of it +ive. This is my first cycle doing the regular opks and my last cycle was a mess with the +I've way early in my cycle and AF being like a week late so I am clueless as to what to expect. It would be absolutely awesome if I got a +ive tomorrow lol. It would take the hassle out of thinking about it!

A lot of PP mom's I know can be quite pitying of me having two of the same sex. Quite honestly I pity them for never knowing the beauty of having two of the same. My guys are the very best of friends they are close enough in age they will probably have the same buddies growing up like my DH and his brother had as they were similarly spaced. I remember Atomic saying, or rather writing, a great quote - boys should come in pairs! It's SO true.

Quinn I find in my area girls are very very much favoured over boys. I was asked why was I so happy on DS2 to be having another boy. I was asked by another person on DS1 no less was I not disappointed in having a son instead of a daughter. The girls section in shops around here is 3-4 times larger than the pitiful boys section. Maybe my GD makes me more sensitive though, I dunno! I hope all of us here don't have to feel like this for much longer! X

Mammacass SHOW means Soft, High, Open and Wet during O. I only started tracking my CP two cycles ago but sure both of those cycles were crazzzzzzzy so not a lot to go by so I'm fairly clueless here lol.

I'm going to wait until tomorrow (e4d) to try again. Ill have either already ovulated, or it will be my one attempt. Who knows. I can't imagine not O until 4 days after a positive digi opk though. So strange.

If its not, what do you girls think - dtd tonight to keep to the e3d I had planned for this cycle or wait til tomorrow and go with the e4d that this cycle has actually ended up being anyway. That's what I would do personally. I just think then you can get your attempt in closer to O? But you could stick to e3-4d if you felt more relaxed that way. But I presume the fact you're doing opk's & checking CP etc you're more like me in trying to pinpoint roughly where abouts you are? Maybe ask atomic?

My diet is rubbish I constantly cheat [emoji85] I think the main change ive made is reducing the amount we BD and one attempt most definitely. I just feel like time is ticking along so im becoming more and more lax about things. I definitely eat far less meat and no breakfast so I have changed but I'm definitely not a hardcore swayer like some of you troopers! Xx

Just be careful with cheapies and re-reading them later. I nearly always get a line appear once they've dried somewhat. I have learned not to get excited by this any more and just read them within the time frame.

Saying that you had different tests all with a visible line so that would be pretty damn bad luck for you. Keep us updated over the next few days. Everything crossed for you xx

Yeah I've spoken to Atomic and she said this month to definitely do e3d or e4d. With so long on the diet I need for it to happen and she said the better chance of it happening is regular dtd. I was going to just go with one attempt at +ive but she knows what she's talking about so will go with her advice. That's why I'm caught on when to attempt, I think I will hope the line is almost positive later and if it is I will hold off til tomorrow. Friday 13th and all that haha, lucky for some right ;)

Don't feel bad about your diet hun. Sounds similar to mine. Less meat, no breakfast, no snacking, no fortified foods at all, no red meat (well very very rarely) most bulking up on carbs, veg and junk. I'm couch potato too so not too happy about that aspect but needs must. I was losing too fast when doing the cardio. We had at least 3 attempts in fertile window when ttc our boys so knocking it down to one is a big change. We have made big changes hun, might not be as strong sounding as other sweaters but the bigger picture shows we are on the right track. Plus length of time on diet even with cheats should help big time. I'm 28 weeks on LE tomorrow but have had several fairly substantial cheats over that time and I'm not as strict as I started out being.

Quinn I've had high temps like that from time to time. I had a cycle earlier this year with pre-O temps ranging from 97.7 to 98.3. My "usual" is between 97.3-97.9 then in the 98s post-O. I'm not sure what causes those variations...different levels of hormones I guess?

Hopper, you're so close to O! Since Atomic left it up to you on whether to do E3D or E4D, I'd wait until the OPK is pos. since it's so close. You'd probably end up doing e4d anyway waiting to have your attempt at + OPK.

Lauren a rise in temp doesn't have to be a big spike to indicate o. Its possible to have a minor shift that increases the following day. Post a pic of your chart if you like.

Feeling a bit deflated. I finally called the OB to see what my cd21 number was and the nurse said 9.7 which is low on clomid so most likely I did not respond to it. I am staying at 100mg for 2 more months and then they will do another 21 day recheck then.

I don't test but I had major pains in my left ovary that woke me up on cd16 so I assumed that was it. The test was on cd23 (8days) later. I guess I will just be waiting for AF to rear her ugly head.

Do most of you temp or take OPK? Anyone just doing e4d to ttc a girl?

I'm doing E4D but also temping just so I can see what is happening :) this cycle I did start to use OPKS because the previous 2 were quite confusing however I think I must have missed my pos OPK the day I wasn't able to test.
I think if you are needing to have tests done at a certain day past ovulation then it would be best to temp?

I was really trying to relax this month... So my chart has some gaps, and the times were never the same. (Time change has me all screwy). My temps seem to be really low if I wake up super early (5-6am) so if I fall back asleep until around 8 I sometimes retake it to see if that temp makes more sense. I don't know lol. Here's my chart. I think I O'd today which is a day early and was planning eod but it's not going to work that way and now I just have two attempts 1-O which isn't good for a boy sway or someone like me who has trouble getting pregnant either!! I'm no expert Lauren but it looks to me like you ovulated on CD16 which would give you an O-2 attempt which is good odds for conception [emoji4] if you are doing E3D and are due to BD again I say go for it

Oh sorry your feeling down Quinn [emoji17] it really is stressful on us swayers when our man can't perform! And I suppose it's stressful on our men too hey. 2 attempts the day before O is certainly not bad - better than just the one! And luckily you did add in that extra attempt in the PM instead of waiting for the morning [emoji106] remember best odds of conception are at O-1 and O-2 and that 2 attempts does not put you in girl sway territory...
Could his arm be easily twisted if you turned the seduction on, or gently remind him how much he wants a boy and it's now or never lol

Haha I already tried and he's falling asleep as he tries to talk to me. We had a crazy day. I'm not in the mood ether but I just want to be pregnant! Thanks for cheering me up, I'm still worried it's not enough to get pregnant. I really thought I would O on day 13 so waiting until 11 made sense. I should have known clomid would change it up. I had 3 attempts including an IUI in the fertile window with my last dd so lifestyle seems to sway the most for me!

Hugs Quinn, hopefully your 2 attempts and the clomid get you a BFP with blue dust. How do you feel talking the Clomid? There's a possibility I might begin Clomid next month if we don't get our BFP this month

I finally got my + OPK last night at 8:30pm but my husband left town this morning so I didn't get in as many attempts as I wanted either. So fingers crossed I ovulated today to make out attempts count the most. anxiously awaiting my morning temp to show a jump.

Don't be upset Quinn! Two attempts sounds good to me for a blue sway. I was actually in a similar situation when we we conceived DS2. We'd had two attempts in the day or two before O and then on O day I wanted to BD again just in case. Well, DH had trouble performing due to work stress so I got so upset thinking we wouldn't conceive because we missed the opportunity. As you stated yourself, it seems to be your lifestyle that sways more than number of attempts so please don't fret! You can have all my blue dust!

28434I just had to do a pregnancy test this morning haha! But this is interesting. In the picture there's the same test. The bottom one is when it was about 30min after I made the test. The middle one is after 50min and the top one after 60min. In the middle one there is a clear line but I think I couldn't see any color in it, only grey. Hmm. What do you think about these pictures? The test is 10mIU.

2xblue can I ask when a positive is supposed to show on these tests? As in do they say don't read after 10 minutes? I'm sorry but I cant see anything really on top and bottom test but can see the grey line you're referring to on the middle one. I definately seen something in yesterday's test and to me it had colour. It's possible your urine was more diluted this morning. How many dpo are you? I'm sorry this is obviously not what you want to read and I hope so much your next test is a blaring positive! And I hope my eyes are just as tired as I feel and someone else can see something. I'm also on my phone so that could be dulling the pics as well. Sorry again for the non positive post :( but I know what its like waiting for replies. Fx tightly for a definate bfp next test!!

I can see middle line also, it's a bit of a conundrum though! Makes me think that I probably wouldn't trust these tests... Maybe try in morning or the next with a frer?

2x I can see the grey line in the middle pic but nothing in the top and bottom I'm afraid. I've used these tests before and am reasonably sure they say not to read after 10 minutes. Could you get your hands on a branded test maybe? Fingers crossed your next test is a sure fire +ve!

I think lifestyle matters in a huge way quinn. Two attempts is still boy-ish territory as well but the main thing is the massive changes you have made. Sending buckets of blue dust your way!

ksmom how is your opk today hun? It was so close yesterday!! Hopefully we will both O soon and be testing around the same time x

So my opk was still not positive this morning lol, stronger than yesterday mornings but not as strong as my SMU one. I have to make the decision now whether to wait for +opk or do e4d which would be today. I think I'll play safe and stick with the e4d, I could be gearing up to O for annother week knowing my body!!! I caved and bought another packet of the CB digi opks hahaha, I'm the biggest hypocrite!!! The perverse part of me wants to see if the digis line up with the wondfos lol. We shall see. I plan on using my SMU to test the CB digi with as it seems to be my most concentrated of the day, even moreso than FMU (possibly something to do with the wine I drink in the evenings - gosh darned sway tactic! Needs must right haha)
In other news I got a referral to my obgyn. I've been waiting on it since March this year, it was initially for my heavy AF but since being diagnosed as anaemic and being on LE my AF is the lightest its ever been so I really don't need the appointment any more HOWEVER if we are not successful this cycle I'll keep the appointment and see if he might prescribe me Clomid. I have the low day 21 bw from my Sept cycle and as I've said before if I'm not pg this month we'll be skipping several cycles so I would have time to wait for more bw if he requests it. It has made me feel a lot more at ease if things don't work out this month. Obviously would still love to get pg this month but I'm kinda making my peace with things if it doesn't work out the way I would like!
