Yes I told DH after I finished crying in the bathroom. lol He couldn't believe it happened again so quickly but he's thrilled! Aww so happy for you guys!!! I'm here doing a hold for a digital lol. I just NEED to see the word! As for Black Friday, oh Ireland don't have a patch on the US!!! Our sales aren't that cray-cray unfortunately lol! I have a family wedding in two weeks so really want to get myself sorted for it!! And it would be nice to get Santa finished if the price us right ;)

FF keeps changing my O date so I'm either 10 or 12 dpo. I think I'm closer to 10 because I don't usually ovulate the same day as my first pos. OPK.

I reckon FF had it wrong this month hun, you knew your own dates til FF re-jigged them and you were fairly confident in them! Can't WAIT for your next test, hope you had a good Thanksgiving! I had to have a massive plate of steamed broccoli and baked salmon for my dinner! Mmmm :)

It's ok I've had previous 6 cycles of no go's so deep down was expecting this one to be anyway but hey we can dream right! Pinkin- I'm not sure if you ladies were around when I told my story with what happened with my DS2 or not. If I have, sorry [emoji6]!

I could not get a positive pregnancy test to save my life! The thing is though, I felt pregnant. Plus my temp was still way above the coverline. It wasn't until 21DPO before I got a clear positive on anything. Up to then I got squinters or ghost lines.

Don't count yourself out yet Pinkin!! You may have a slow grower like I did with DS2!!

Ladies I will be signing off for awhile. Received word my fsh is 12 and my oestradiol and lh are low. It is pretty shocking considering I'm 33. We have a free consultation with the RE we saw before but my numbers were normal then so I don't know if anything can be done. Dh has said he won't spend money this time around so who knows. Quinn, hang in there honey! My FSH was 45 and my AMH was 0. My sweet DS3 is sleeping in his bassinet.

Please while this may seem hopeless, know it isn't. It may take a while for Goldie the Golden egg to show up, but she WILL! I too know how much it sucks to struggle to get pregnant- it took me 9 cycles and 8 months including one chemical and miscarriage. Keep trying. I just know it will happen for you!

Xxforhubby can I ask if you were still swaying by cycle 9 when you conceived ds3? From memory i think you were doing e3d? What about the diet though? I'm considering seeing the year out and having one more go in
December but I wont be swaying and I'd be dtd every 2 days after af. I just cant seem to get pregnant without multiple attempts and I really think my age is playing havoc on ttc one attempt. It'd be cycle 8 for me if I do decide to try.

I thought I was going to O earlier than last month but I am not sure what's up. Today is cd14, had a positive opk but EWCM was cd 10-12 (Mon-We'd) and Peak on digital opk on Wed. Had a slight raise today but not above any potential cover line. Had a Pre-O dip in temp. Still a little crampy and side pain today. So what do you think did I O yesterday or today. Had bd attempts on cd 9, 11, 13.

Not at all tmi... I do temps in the morning at 6am and I check cp right after but Also check in the afternoon. I started checking around 4pm additionally because last cycle I went from low closed creamy in the morning to EWCM high and very open in the evening. I normally add the most fertile position since that's what doula and FF say to do.

Ladies I will be signing off for awhile. Received word my fsh is 12 and my oestradiol and lh are low. It is pretty shocking considering I'm 33. We have a free consultation with the RE we saw before but my numbers were normal then so I don't know if anything can be done. Dh has said he won't spend money this time around so who knows. Quinn im sorry for the results... Just to instill a bit of hope. My friend was told she could not have any more children due to low oestrogen resulting in 'pale and thin' womb. Well she found out she was pregnant a week after the procedure and it seems to be a sticky bean too! She was told she would need injections for £3000 in order to conceive so don't give up all hope. Xxx

Immi hello!!!! I was seriously just thinking about you today and where you would be at!! Dont hold any hope for me sweet lady :) I had pretty decent af pains today so I'm sure it'll be right on time Monday morning - the day after I go to a beach house for a week holiday of course lol! AFM had a great Black Friday lol. Got a lot of Xmas presents sorted but at a loss as to what to get the boys as their "main" Santa gift. First world problems or what lol.
My FRER is darker this AM but doesn't appear to be massively different to the one from 2 days ago, the IC seems to be the same, am due AF today so please God she stays away! I have one more FRER left so will use it on Monday and hope there is a bigger more noticeable difference.

The biggest kick in the guts for me has been my mums attitude :( I love my mum dearly and she does mean well but when I told her this was likely our last cycle trying and that I had a chemical pregnancy she basically said I should just be thankful for what I've got and to pretty much move on and get over it. I said to her that she doesn't even seem excited about another grandchild by me and she pretty much said 'well look at you and dh age, I'd be worried about your health'. I'm disappointed and sad that she couldn't even say 'I'm sorry you didn't get pregnant' but I should of known.... she's never ever once said anything supportive about another child only reminded me about our ages and how thankful I should be to have two wonderful boys... well of course of am thankful for my boys! A trillion times over!!! if I do try one more time with multiple attempts and have another boy I will be happy just to spite her and I hate that I feel like that!!!! I ALWAYS thought I would tell my mum if I got a bfp but I swear to god I'll say nothing if by some miracle it happens next cycle should I try.
I'm sorry to vent ladies but I'm almost in tears at how such a wonderful, caring and loving mum can be so callous and cold hearted towards the 'possibility' of another child :(

Just read this PBN [emoji20] that's a shame about how your mums being! My mum looks at me like there's something wrong with me when I talk about my longing for a girl. Her answer "for God sake does it really matter so long as he/she is healthy?" Coming from her with 2 girls and a boy [emoji58] I tend to speak with friends (and you guys!) more than with my mum as I don't find she understands/wants to understand as my friends do. I hope you have some good supportive friends around you and you always have us! Xxx

I've never actually told her I was trying for a girl and now I guess its true - I just want one last baby - boy or girl!! I feel I wont say anything to her now if it does happen until I know if bub is healthly or has issues associated with older mums... I'm sooo disappointed with her lack of enthusiasm but what can you do?

I know ive said I won't tell anybody until ive had my 20 week scan and know the gender as the pressure is going to be major as everyone knows Id love a girl (though they don't know the extremes ive been going to!)

I started testing at 7dpo with cheapies and frer. since 7dpo I swear I have seen a sadow on my frer but its def a line now. I got a line on the cheapie yesterday at 8dpo. I have had period type pain and pulling feeling in my uterus since like 5dpo plus some weird cm I just knew I as pregnant .. Odd. I really hope it progresses

Pbn I'm so sorry your mom isn't being supportive. :( I didn't tell my mom about my chemical pregnancy because I was worried she'd end up saying the "wrong" thing (although I think she'd mean well). Sometimes it's hard to sympathize with others when you're not in their shoes and have never been in that situation. She shouldn't have said those things, sometimes saying nothing at all is best. I really truly hope you give TTC another go and that you get your BFP. Best wishes!!

12 dpo today. I took two FR (new and old version) this morning and the line is darker! :happy: Not only that but the line didn't take forever to show up like it did yesterday and the day before. Two pink lines popped up within just a few minutes. The digi is still neg. but I know those aren't as sensitive. Please keep your fingers crossed the lines keep getting darker!!

Sorry pbn about your mom. I completely understand, my grandma who is like mom to me keeps telling me that I should be happy with what I have and that I don't need another baby. She has 2 daughters and all the grandkids and great-grandkids have be mostly boys. I have friends and family that either react like she does or tells me automatically that I am going to have another boy.

We started out doing every 3 days but it ended up being every 4 days instead with the attempt the day before O. I was still doing the diet, the fertility version, exercise, and that was all.

I would try BDing every 3 days with the diet. I think it's just too hard to predict when you will ovulate, yk? It's time to get pregnant [emoji6]!!

Pbn massive hugs my dear! I know only too well about the lacklustre responses! We told my sister yesterday who's face fell and then she cried cause she wanted to be pg first. We told my parents soon after who's reactions were mixed. My dad is a very quiet and practical man, he said we'd need a bigger car lol. Ok, fair enough. My mum walked out of the room shaking her head saying she was moving to another continent if I didn't stop having children....so, yeah, it didn't go as planned at all. They didn't know we were ttc at all but they all know my desire for a girl. My mum said "here comes boy number 3". She later rang me and said congrats and that it was a shock but I know that had to be my sister having a word in her ear. They are more excited about my sister going car shopping this weekend truth be told. Hurtful, yes but I should be used to it at this stage. I told my friend who's mum is the medium who predicted the pregnancy and she was more than thrilled so between that and you girls I am happy enough. We have a family wedding in less than 2 weeks (my in laws) so we will probably tell the in laws before that as the lack of drinking will key them in I'm sure. I'm a little out off telling anyone now though. Friends of ours announced their third child on FB yesterday, they are 12 weeks, and the comments from family were just so sweet and warm. They have two girls and have made no secret that they want a boy. I think they did PGD, they definitely have the money and she totally gets the whole GD thing (though it's him who wants the boy, she has said she would love twin girls lol)

Honestly girls I had a big fat tempur pillow under my hips by my back.. Then the same but led on my front.. Then led on my side with the opposite leg in the air.. Then the other side with leg up.. Then repeated all this without the pillow lying dead flat. Was there for a good 45 mins! On my back I did some bicycle movements too [emoji23] as much as im ashamed to admit it!! Lolol

Honestly girls I had a big fat tempur pillow under my hips by my back.. Then the same but led on my front.. Then led on my side with the opposite leg in the air.. Then the other side with leg up.. Then repeated all this without the pillow lying dead flat. Was there for a good 45 mins! On my back I did some bicycle movements too [emoji23] as much as im ashamed to admit it!! Lolol

Pbn sorry to hear about your mum I'm sure she meant nothing by it sometimes people talk without thinking. My mum is fabulous but is also guilty of saying things like this. But 1 thing I know 100% for sure about my mum is how much she loves my two boys and I know the next one will be no different. I guess she just sees it from a different view point. She only had my sister and I, thought labour was the worst thing that ever happened to her. She cried when I told her I was pg on DS1. I thought it was emotional crying til she said "Oh it hurts me to think of the pain you are facing!" Ummm, thanks lol. I had two wonderful labours and I'm sure even if I didn't I would do it all over again to have my two wonderful children.
No my sister doesn't have kids. She is 28and in a relatively new relationship. About 18 months or a bit less. She is medicated for mental health reasons and is in a great place right now but adding a baby to the mix would be a big mistake IMO. I do try to softly discourage it until she is more solid in her relationship, and life in general. Her reply is usually "What? Are you afraid I will have a girl first?" Which kinda sums up the childish attitude I'm dealing with her. I mean I love my family but seriously sometimes only for the fact they are family I don't think I would particularly choose to be around them (harsh yes, but I'm stinging a bit - my mum passed another comment today when I visited with the boys. She was saying how one of our neighbours was just home from hospital and that he received sub par treatment and I weighed in saying that although I've only really dealt with the maternity section of the hospital I couldnt fault it. So she says "Oh here we go listening to THIS for nine months. When are you due anyway?" in a less than pleasant tone.)
Anyway....Sorry for the rant. I'll chose to blame hormones already k ;)

The digitals can't be interpreted from the lines inside. They don't work in the same way that a regular line HPT does.

The digital tests aren't very sensitive, I think they detect something like 50mIU while the FR can detect as little as 6.3mIU. I did pry open my digital from yesterday (neg.) and the one I took today (also neg). The top is 11dpo and the bottom 12dpo (today).

The lines do seem to be getting darker and what's interesting is the darkness of the lines matches the lines on the FR. There may always be a second line present though if I read that article I linked correctly.

I really think it is a line, BFPs, you've had several that we have seen.

Pinkin I'm so sorry you're in this limbo. We have all seen a line on previous hpt you posted so reat assured you werent seeing things. The last pic you posted of frer out of shell does look extremely familiar to an evap line I posted a couple cycles ago as an example however you have had a line on previous tests and in all honesty IF you can I would wait 48 hours from this mornings test to test again. Please dont lose hope yet!!! Frers are not the be all of end all and many people don't get a decent frer line until 14dpo. Take a deep breath and have a little faith that things will turn out just fine :) I'm totally rooting for you (in the cheering way lol) and I'm hoping and praying in a couple days this limbo nightmare will be over for you!

I'm sorry it's a BFN Pinkin. :( I did see a line on the FR you posted a picture of so it could just be early. FWIW, I'm *still* getting really faint barely there lines on the IC tests but on the FR I'm getting dark lines and a pos. on the FR digi this AM. The sensitivity of the tests can really vary. I agree with Netti about the lines taking awhile to get nice and dark. With DS1 the lines didn't get dark as the control until 16 dpo! FYI though, if you take the FR strip out of the case an evap can appear (had this happen before). The line was there before you did that though, right? How many dpo are you?

Pbn, have you tested again yet? I've still got my fingers crossed for you.

So I'm 14 DPO and my longest LP since I had the Mirena out is 12 days which was last month. I have been TTC a girl for 4 months. I took a pregnancy test at 10dpo but it was negative. I looked at the reviews for the cheapie Walmart brand I bought and they all said it can't be used early so I'm counting my 10dpo test useless. I tested then because I usually get ovary cramping from ovulation to AF and didn't have that (#1 sign of my 2nd pregnancy and the reason I tested then too). On 12/13dpo I started to get period like cramps, ovary cramps and backache-I get none of those, except ovary, during a normal menstrual cycle. I am very slightly nauseous but my kids have been sick so I chalked it up to that. I am also peeing more often, bloated/uterus feels funny and my areoles are bigger and stabbing pains. No symptoms came until the last 1-2 days, after missed AF.

We r driving home from Thanksgivings at grandmas (3 hours) so I will test when I get home and prob in the am but will have to buy more test (prob. Going to get a FRER for the am). I brought tampons with me instead of tests so I'd have to hold out. I did go shopping and tried to buy some test but DH keep walking into the isle and I want to surprise him so I acted like I was looking for tampons. Fingers crossed for a positive test and not a wacky cycle.

I think either is a possibility and also my bedroom has been freezing cold the last 2 nights which could be affecting my thermometer because it sits out in the open on my night stand. I really am hoping that I did O because I don't know how my DH would take bd e2d right now. He wants to rest right now. Also the last 2 morning I have been taking my temp after a 4hr block of sleep vs an 8 hour block (still the same time just haven't be able to get to sleep until 2am instead of my normal 10pm).

Sooo pissed!! BFN after a 3.5 hour hold. It was a 80 cent Walmart cheapie so I went out to buy a FRER but they only had clear blue so I got that for FMU tomorrow. So upset!!! This is why I wait till a missed period and now that didn't work.

So can anyone help me figure out what's going on. Here's my cycle: AF nov. 5 (they've been about 24 days). Positive ovulation while on vacation nov. 13 but I usually O 2 days later and it felt like I did nov. 15 or 16. We BD nov. 12, 13, and 17. I was caught up in vacation and really not watching for ovulation, it even shocked me that I got a positive. I had my usual ovary cramping after my suspected ovulation and I felt nothing later in the month (no primary ovary cramping I have from ovulation to AF or a delayed O). I dropped saw palmetto this month and had dropped vitex the month before. DH was talking OLE but he forgets unless. I hand it to him so I doubt he did this month (getting him back on that tonight and getting back on LE tonight-I have had too many cheats with vacation and thanksgiving I'm kind of off right now). I did take a Benadryl to help sleep at the beginning of my cycle (randomly) and took a Claritin 4 days before positive ovulation and then realized that would dry me up too much so stopped it completely.

I never feel AF coming, just get ovary pains. I don't feel like she's on the way now. Almost threw up a couple times today. I did feel ligament pain tonight, which I do feel normally. Boobs feel full which is kind of normal the day before AF also.


Sat, about 12dpo, when I thought AF would arrive I had stringy ewcm and I thought I saw 2 tiny drops of pink. I had to squint to see it and I thought it was the start of AF but nothing evolved.
I didn't have much hope for this cycle and then I'm 2 days late and got my hopes up. 1 more test and then I'm waiting to see what happens for a few days.

Any advice???

I've had all the usual pre af cramping last few days so I really don't think there's any chance of it not coming. I'm only going to buy a test if its not here by tomorrow morning.

Thank you! Defiantly testing in the am. If it's a bfn I guess I had a delayed ovulation due to vacation and vacation drinking, traveling and hot tubs along with antihistamines. Ugh!!

Me too - but I'm not too hopeful really - all of the other bfp cycles had that big leap up there, this one just took it's time.... very frustrating! lol

I don't know if me and DH have ever had sex this frequent before. I mean the every other day to third day maybe.. But I am SOOO exhausted from all this bding!!! Please sticky bean sticks snap be s boy! Lol.

I do have one question- we've bded 4x in a row now over the course of 3 pos OPKs. I took one this morning thinking it would be negative and it's stil pos.. Do I need to bd tomorrow now too since I'm still getting pos OPKs?

-side note--- I've heard and read that ovulating late while having a 28 days cycle can increase risk of miscarriage.. Due to a short LP.. :( someone share insight if possible.. I have a 27-28 day cycle.. And I've been Oing cd 13-14 every month.. Well this month I didn't O until cd21. Which means my LP would only be 7 days.. Should I be worried??

Your lp doesn't normally change hun? Not by that much anyway but the follicular phase can do so you may be fine!

You got preseed? Go for gold using an abundance of that! Lol bless you!

Yeah normally my LP is 14 days like clockwork.. So when I ovulated late if got me a little worried. Unless this cycle ends up being longer than the rest. Which would be fine. I just normally start AF cd28-29. So if that is the case this cycle, that only leaves a 7 day LP. I don't know much about cycle in general yet.. I know about mine but idk what everything means so maybe I'm worrying over nothing.

And no preseed just BSF 30 mins before which helps a TON..

lol sounds like a tonne of bding! I remember it well lol! Your LP won't change hun, highly unlikely it does. You will just have a 35 day cycle this month most likely (so say O on CD21 + your usual 14 day LP = 35 day cycle) Hopefully you catch that egg, you can have ALL my blue dust ;)
