Thankyou Magical [emoji4]
I am on CD8 and hoping for another early O like last month, last month was CD15 and previous cycles were 30,30,34! So I guess the Vitex is starting to work [emoji6] my AF has lasted a lot longer this cycle too is this normal for Vitex to extend length of AF?
Waiting on some IC OPKs to arrive hopefully today or tomorrow.
Good luck ladies!

I should be getting AF by Nov. 9. I'm confused since my last cycle came 5 days early. I got a positive opk last Friday with cramping and ewcm and then again more cramping and ewcm on Monday. We dtd on Friday. I am going on to see how I feel the next week and see if u can hold out to test. TTC girl and I don't temp. I dropped vitex this month so hoping that helps.

Well, I decided to give it one last go and attempt this month (without DH knowing). I threw caution to the wind and based on the Research setting on FF, I am 3dpo which means that I had 4 attempts in my fertile window. I know that's a huge no-no for swaying girl, but I am currently more concerned about getting a healthy, sticky bean. So, I will test for the first time at 10dpo which is Nov 4th. I might hold out and test on the 6th though, just because I hate getting bfn. :( My chart is looking amazing! It looks just like my July chart where I got a BFP! I just hope this bean sticks. :fx: I also have been eating pineapple with the core to help with implantation. Has anyone else heard of that? I did it during my July cycle and I got a BFP that cycle, so I'm doing it again. :) Good luck ladies! I am glad to be back here and wish everyone a BFP! :bluecheer::cheer::bluecheer::cheer:

Momamia. I've had pineapple core work for me twice and it didn't work once but I've had fertility issues in the past. Also I had three attempts in the fertile window and had my second girl. I was living a LE lifestyle at the time.
Does anyone know about ruptured cysts? I read a cyst produces progesterone which can make temps higher but will a ruptured cyst do that too? There wasn't a lot of fluid left so they thought it ruptured awhile ago.
Also does anyone get ovary pain right before af? I seem to every month and it's starting again.

October 28th, 2015, 09:46 PM
Quinn, as far as I understand, a ruptured cyst shouldn't produce the amount of progesterone needed to delay AF. It's when the cyst stays that it produces the progesterone. I hope that helps. :)

Hi girls! I'm still waiting to o. I really really hoped I would o earlier than last cycle but here I am on cd18 and no +opk. I had all the signs last week and really thought I would o then but no. Maybe my body was just trying to o but couldnt? Yesterday and today I've had a little bit of cm and opk is getting little stronger (again!) so fingers crossed I will o soon. This waiting sucks. I think I feel so frustrated as I'm scared my cycle is messed up, not because I o later. It's just as I have no idea when I will o and what if I don't o. And if I o what if my LP is as short as last cycle. Sigh...
Good luck everyone and hopefully we will have many BFPs in Nov!!! :)

I'm and sadly joining this group officially. I had a massive temp drop and a bfn at 10dpo. Af always starts on 12dpo so it would have been positive if I was. I didn't think I would be so sad but I am. Especially because each cycle makes me think that there's something wrong with me.

Hello everyone!
I am waiting for my AF to come on the 31rst of October (yes this is a BIG witch!!)
TTC for 2 cycles under Clomid and HCG injection to provoke ovulation (+ LE diet, OLE and LR for DH, 1 attempt)
I am currently 11 dpo and had a false BFP 10 dpo (still trigger shot 12 days after injection!!) Today BFN with 2 tests so I guess this is not our month... :(
I had terrible clomid and HCG side effects these 2 months.
I'm done with Clomid and will try without this month.
So I have to do Ovulation tests and perhaps à temp chart to see if I ovulate?
Wish you so much luck you all!!! :D

Hi Everyone,
Guess I am joining the November group, we are starting into our 8th month of trying. Currently CD 4 and I should ovulate around CD14-16. Finally made an appointment to see a R/E 1 week from today to see if there are any issues preventing us from TTC. Fingers crossed its just because I am older and it will just take more time.
Hope this is the cycle for all of us!

I am officially joining this thread and delighted about it :giggle: AF arrived this avo after a 36 day possible anovulatory cycle. If I have a semi regular cycle this month it would average at 32 days so won't be due to test til the end of November. Hoping to see a LOT of bfps between now and then girls xx

Decided to join this board even though I tend to have irregular anovulatory cycles and I just had a MC. Not sure when/if I'll ovulate but I'm HOPING it will happen soon and that I'll get a BFP in November. I'm on CD10 right now. Last cycle I got lucky and finally ovulated on CD20 after 2.5 months of it not happening so we'll see.

Ksmom wow I hope it goes quick again this month. You must have a lot of patience! Fx for a quick cycle again.
I'm just waiting for af to start and I'm so sad about it. Dh is 44 and only wants to try for two more months. That immediately puts so much stress on me and makes me want to cry. I have no idea why it's taking so long for us when we've been pregnant fast twice before but it's getting hard to take. I always go through a depression when af starts but knowing I have to beat the clock is making it more difficult.

Quinn, I'm so sorry. It's really hard to see a bfn, especially if you've been ttc for awhile. Hugs.
About the clomid. Do doctors prescribe it when you have been ttc only for two cycles? Of course it depends on doctor but I have always thought you have to ttc a longer time before doctors prescribe something. But if I have a short lp this cycle I'm maybe considering calling a dr and asking what should I do. Does clomid help with short LP?

Tfahn I see your swaying boy too! I couldn't see that on my phone. I've been did 0-3, 0-2, 0-1, and 0 day the past couple months to no avail. I really don't know what else to do...
My dr prescribed clomid to me after 4 cycles because I had difficulty conceiving my second (we never found out what the problem was because all of our testing came back normal) and I'm almost 34 and my husband is 44. We are in a bit of a time crunch I guess you could say. I don't know if it helps with a short lp. How long is yours? Mine is only 11 days and I feel like that isn't enough.

Thanks for the congrats ladies lol, weird to write that but happy too!
Quinn I am sorry you are in such a time crunch, I can kind of empathise a little as we are trying this month and then waiting til next year possibly February before trying again so feel my all my hard work on LE will be gone to waste. Facing facts there's no way I can continue on LE for much longer, it's been 26 weeks tomorrow!! And it can't be good for my overall healthiest on this diet much longer.
Spoke to my GP today. He went through my progesterone blood results with me and says it "could be anyone's guess" whether I am Oing or not. My blood work was 26.6 which he said is borderline, they like them to be at least 30 for day 21. He has me in to see a female doctor next Thursday on CD8 which is useless for this cycle. It made me feel a little hopeless.
DH wants to try every three days this cycle. It's our third cycle but like I said taking a break after this cycle. I don't know what to do, opinions hugely appreciated. Should I maybe ask Atomics advice?
Quinn31
October 29th, 2015, 09:08 PM
Hopper I don't know about girl sways but my last dd was many attempts at O time. I was living a mostly LE life though so I'm not sure which is more important. Atomic can probably help better than I can.

Hopper, I'd definitely ask Atomic what to do. She usually suggests other things to help with ovulation and increase chances of pregnancy before giving the okay for more attempts. I really believe the advice she gave me several weeks ago is what helped my body to start ovulating again.

Hello all :) I'm trying to catch up on everything after having a short break (only 4 days I think but things happen so fast here!).
I had my specialist appointment today and the Dr gave me the option of trying metformin or clomid. I asked if it was too late this cycle (cd6) and he said 1 day wouldn't make much difference with my cycles and they could start if I needed to. I decided to go with trying the metfomin to see if it helps shorten my cycles but I am going to take the my clomid I got from a friend (I obviously didn't tell him about that part). He also said that metformin can help with women with PCOS who have had miscarriages so wants me to keep taking it for the first trimester when I get pregnant.
I'm happy to wait until January to consider a fully monitored clomid cycle partly because it is expensive doing the monitoring and also I don't want to go to all that effort to conceive a September baby, if it happens naturally that is fine but I would rather another month (both boys are born in September).
He is pretty sure I have PCOS as I have several of the main indicators like irregular cycles, polycystic ovaries and acne. He wasn't too concerned about the mid-cycles bleeding/spotting as he said it was just hormonal.
So now I am taking the clomid I hope to ovulate around day 19. I have taken clomid twice before and ovulation was day 18/19 each time. I also got pregnant each time, first time was DS1 and second time was a blighted ovum.
If I ovulate when expected I will be testing around November 25 :D

Here is my chart overlay for my current cycle (pink/purple line) and my BFP cycle in July/August (green line). I have to admit that I am super excited to see how well they are lining up. It's actually kind of freaking me out! I didn't know they could/would do that?! Has anyone else had that happen before? I guess I kind of thought they might be similar, but it never occurred to me how similar.

My pregnancy charts don't have similar temps but I have noticed they tend to follow the same pattern of being triphasic with a dip in temp around the time of implantation.

I will be hopefully joining this group as I am on cd13 today. We have been ttc for over a year and finally tried clomid last month, which the 50mg did not work. I took 100mg on cd4-8 this month and fx that it will work. I am beginning to get really down and discouraged and don't want to be bummed out over the holidays. I can't help but worry that I am too old (I just turned 37) and my body is failing me.

So I posted a long winded thread today basically asking what I should do to try make this cycle work and Atomic answered with an answer that made me more confident going into this cycle. So we will be attempting every three days after AF finishes, little bit apprehensive about adding in possibly an extra attempt but as she pointed out being on LE for 26 weeks now and this being our last month for a bit it just has to happen now. Anyone else doing every 3 days or heard of someone getting their DD doing e3d? The stats don't seem to be there for it on the stats doc but I'm assuming e3d is kinda like 2 attempts in fertile window which is about 65% compared to one attempt which is 70% so I'm happy enough to gamble with that 5% - I think!
Also I mentioned in that thread that I believe I have a tilted cervix - like when I check it I can kinda reach past it and feel the OS facing my rear end. She said that I could try have our attempt and lay flat for 5 mins but instead of J&D like I've been doing try laying on my tum for a further 10 minutes and thats helped other ladies with tilted cervix get pg. Please tell me a tilted cervix is common enough lol. To conceive our boys I elevated my hips for maybe 30 mins after every attempt (DH thought I was crazy but both boys were one hit wonders so there had to be method to my madness lol)
purple
October 30th, 2015, 06:27 PM
Titled cervix/uterus is pretty common hopper. I have one too. I think I just raised my hips while lying on my back each time I got pregnant so maybe you should try that again. 26 weeks on LE will be an excellent sway for you but you need to make sure the sperm are actually getting to where they are needed I guess. Good luck!

Thanks purple! Never noticed before - well I noticed but I didn't think it was a "thing" until I started checking my CP and reading about others CPs and realised mine was a bit different lol. Yeah I think I might put a cushion under my rear for 5 mins this cycle and then try flipping to my tummy like Atomic suggested and hopefully something will work. Half afraid of doing anything that I did to get pg on our boys but at the same time if the swimmers aren't getting in there then there's no chance of getting pregnant so my sway is kinda useless I suppose lol xx

Just thought I would chime in regarding a tilted uterus. Mine is retroverted (think of it like a slide), and I always got pregnant when I lay on my stomach. I didn't realize it helped until I wasn't getting pregnant when TTCing this guy.
I would try that! Things like this don't sway- diet, exercise, and # of attempts are what sway.

Thanks XX! Can I just pick your brain on the topic - when you say to think of it like a slide. Do you mean say you are standing up and your cervix "should" be straight down but it curves to the back - is that what you mean? Cause that's how I would describe mine, if that's an accurate description lol. It makes sense I guess, cause if I lay on my back and don't have hips elevated the sperm is just gonna pool behind my cervix cause it can't reach it! But with elevated hips or lying on my tummy it changes the playing field entirely! Oh wow I am actually excited about trying this month!!

Good luck momamia. When do you test?
Today is cd 1 for me and I'll start my clomid in 2 days. I really hope this is it for me. This will be our 5th month trying with a boy sway which is supposed to increase fertility. It's very frustrating. My lp went from 11 to 12 days so hopefully that's a good thing.

Good luck momamia4!!
Tfahn just keep trying!!! I was 27 TTC our first and it took us 9 months. Don't stress, I think that is what it so long for us.
Hopper-I would def. try what atomic recommended. That makes sense and I hope it works. I think you have other things influencing your away that it will override every 3 days.
I'm getting kind of excited. I'm about a week out or less for AF and I keep getting sharp stabbing pains in my breast. I've never had this before. When I google it a lot of girls got this as a first pregnancy sign but Doctor websites say it happens right before AF due to the rise in hormones. I also tried to sit up last night in bed and got a tingly/pinching pain on my left side under my belly button. This morning the breast pain is staying in the left breast by my armpit. I never had this before AF?? I'm scared to test but will prob give in soon.

I'm having sharp boob pain but today it is just staying in one boob. Last night I had a tingling/pinching pain under my belly button and a little left. I feel a bit nauseous and kind of car sick/dizzy yesterday. I'm almost wondering if I'm sick though. I'm due for AF at the end of this week. I just think my head is playing games with me.

Quinn, can I ask the reason they gave u clomid? Were u having long cycles or delayed ovulation? I have my first RE appt on Thursday this week and just wondering what they give clomid out for. Hopefully this is your month?
Also can I ask any blue sway moms what multi vitamin you r taking? Apparently the one i am taking has too many herbs and could decreased fertility so I am looking for some new ones to get.

Hi tfahn,
I recently changed my prenatal on Naturpathic doctor's advice and switched to Prental SAP by NFH http://www.nfh.ca/en/product_info/Pre%20Natal%20SAP.pdf
They are for sure expensive but real good stuff. Where other ones i stores are full with fillers and absorption is so low.
Hope this helps!

I'm being prescribed clomid because I experienced unexplained secondary infertility with my second dd. I O on my own so there's really no explanation as to why I'm not getting pregnant. Clomid didn't help last time so I'm not sure if it will this time but I'm hopeful.

So I'm new, not to Gd but to 2WW. DH in August finally decided he was ready for us to ttc for #4, took me 4 years to convince him and only after we had a mc in July while I was on the nexplanon. Had nexplanon removed and have been ttc since, only issue has been I haven't had a good cycle with a definite ovulation until this month. We are swaying for a girl and I'm taking Fertilitea which has vitex. It has regulated my cycles now to 28days. I know from physical signs, temp shift today and pos opk I ovulated Oct 30/31 (cd 12-13) so today should be 1dpo. We bd cd 7, 10, & 11. I will test Nov 15. Here's hoping!!!

mammacass, my cheapy opks always have exactly the same line until the day of the positive. It's the reason I switched to the Clearblue Advanced one. I can actually see a progression with the lines (even though you aren't supposed to check the lines). They give me 6-9 days of high and then my peak. But since I can see the darkening of the line, I have a better idea of when I'm actually about to O. My long winded point is that you might still get an early positive. Lol!

Randomly did an opk this morning and test line is fairly dark considering I'm only CD6...my cycles have been screwy since my Sept cycle so I'm assuming my body could be gearing up to O this early. AF just finished last night and having back pains today. Usually get them for about a week before O which would still be a nice early O for me!! Now to make the decision whether to do every 3 days or every 4 days...I'll continue to use opks anyway though.

Hi Hopper,
I started checking with OPK strips after my cycle this month too. The second line was visible and darker then I would have thought for CD6, but no where near positive and now they are really light as of last night. I am hopping for a temp dip tonight because I had 2 higher temps the last 2 mornings and I am only CD9, so its freaking me out that I might have O'd early which would suck because we only had 2 attempts and not good ones. Usually I O around CD14 so hopefully it is just my body getting ready to O in the next few days.

Signingmommy, it's completely normal to cramp for a few days after ovulation. I think I read it's from the fluid released with the egg, it can irritate the abdominal area. It can also be from the uterus contracting to propel the egg downward from the fallopian tube into the uterus. I get crampy too after ovulation.

Hey everyone! Sorry I took a step back for a few weeks. I had to reassess my sway and relax. This is the first and only month I plan on going couch potato... It's killing me but I figured it was worth a shot. I'm also not doing supplements or rephresh this month either. I guess my only sway in this 9th month is diet and timing? signingmommy, I always cramp for a few days after ovulation. I don't think it's anything to worry about. I honestly think it's a good thing and a sign of a strong ovulation. :)
Hi Lauren! :bighug: I have everything crossed that this is your month!! :D I think that you'll have just as strong of a sway with only doing LE. Don't forget that it's a pattern of behavior over time that sways, which is why we do the diet for a while before we even attempt. Are you going to do E4D or have you already tried it? Sorry, that I don't remember. If not, I'm sure atomic would recommend it since you've been ttc for so long.
I had an excellent visit with my RE. He did not do an HCG test as he felt it was too early. :( He did do a ton of other testing though, based on my medical history and the fact that I just had my 4th miscarriage. He's concerned that there is something else going on and apparently, he didn't know about my MTHFR problem (it's a clotting disorder which caused me to have 3 TIAs a few years ago & as a result take aspirin daily). He said that he wants to rule out other conditions as well, so they drew 11 vials of blood!! I should (hopefully) have some answers by the end of next week. I told him that there is a really high possibility that I'm currently pregnant and very concerned about another miscarriage. He said once the pregnancy is confirmed to be in my uterus, he's going to start me on daily heparin for my clotting disorder. I have also decided that I'm going to use him as my OB instead of returning to the horrible one I saw with my miscarriage. He has no problem with that and would actually prefer it. He said that if I'm not pregnant right now, we can either do clomid again or switch to injectibles. We could also jump to IVF with PGD if we wanted to. He said it's totally up to us what happens next. He said since I've already had 4 children, he doesn't think we need to do IVF but he would support us if that's what we chose. So, :fx: that I get a BFP tomorrow and that my numbers increase normally so I can get an early ultrasound to confirm that it's in my uterus and get started on the heparin asap! :D I am feeling much more confident that my next (or current) pregnancy will be successful now that I've had this discussion with my RE. Yay! :cheer:

You should talk to atomic about it. You've been swaying super hardcore and I don't think changing that would have as big of a negative impact as you think. But, I could be wrong. I just know that she adjusted my dtd schedule a lot with each month. I know that it's different for every swayer, but I think it's at least worth messaging her about. :) Obviously it's up to you, but that's my two cents. Good luck with whatever you decide. :highfive: When do you expect/anticipate to O?

Lauren you can post a message to Atomic in the regular forums or private message her and she will respond. I would totally be switching to every 4 days as with every 10 days you could easily miss your chance each month, especially if you don't O immediately after your first +opk. I don't O till 3 days after my first +opk so would totally miss my chance. Also, a long asbstain can decrease sperm health. The girl results are excellent with the every 4 days method.

Hubby will be ecstatic if she tells me to switch haha. I'll try and figure out the forums.

I am excited to see these BFP so soon in the month and praying you all get more BFPs.
So I understand the reasoning that I may be still cramping, though it is 3dpo and im still cramping and its affecting my back. I also nauseous really badly. I don't know what to think because again im 3dpo and i always am nauseous and crampy before AF but that is only a few days before. Could I still be in it this cycle or call it? I haven't had a real good cycle like this since 2012 before I got the nexplanon, and this is cycle #4 off of it. With my previous pregnancies I knew I started morning sickness literally the day of conception. I don't want to get my hopes up because then I'd be devastated but at the same time is it possible to be having symptoms this early.
ksmom
November 3rd, 2015, 11:20 PM
Pregnancy symptoms aren't possible before implantation and 3 dpo is too early for that. The nausea is probably from the increase in progesterone we get after ovulation. I hope you get a BFP soon. :)

Poptart, yes I chart my temps and do OPKs. For a few days now I've been getting medium-dark lines on the OPK so it got my hopes up that it would be positive soon but no, it's staying the same. At least for now my temps aren't all wonky like they were in the months I wasn't ovulating. I wish there was a button we could press to induce ovulation whenever we want. lol

November 4th, 2015, 09:08 AM
What's nice is that if I didn't ovulate until a day later, then it's more like I only had 2 real attempts in my fertile window. :) The original 4 attempts were as follows:
1) CD 13
2) CD 15
3) CD 16
4) CD 17 - used quite a bit of non-sperm friendly lube = doubt any sperm survived/got anywhere
If I O'd on CD17, then:
1) CD 13 = O-4
2) CD 15 = O-2
3) CD 16 = O-1
4) CD 17 = O day
So, I feel like the cd13 attempt and the cd17 attempt don't really count for anything at this point. What do you guys think?

No, Poptart. I'm swaying girl. Atomic had me change my attempts to E3D plus one attempt at +opk. She thinks I need more swimmers on board since I had a tubal reversal which lowers my odds of conception to 60% of a normal persons chances. So, instead of a 15% chance of conception each month based on my age (Fertility 101 (http://www.thebump.com/a/fertility)), I only have a 9% chance. All the attempts kind of freak me out, but I can't get my DD if I can't get pregnant. Also, because of my miscarriage in Sept, I'm leaning more toward a healthy baby than swaying for a DD (although I still follow LE).

I really really wanted chocolates and potato chips all day today so I am just giving in and eating it. Hoping the cheat makes the diet more bearable tomorrow! Am hungry this week,I'm assuming it's cause AF finally finished today.
Speaking of AF finishing my opk was still negative today but the test line was as dark as yesterday's. We are planning on starting our attempts tomorrow. I was wavering between e3d or e4d but am now wondering if I should do e4d with an attempt at +opk - my reasoning being that I can judge when I get a +opk if our last attempt was close enough to O and decide then whether we need to even add an extra attempt...I don't really want to have two attempts in my fertile period BUT if this is our last month for a couple of months I am really really hoping to get that bfp! This is my third cycle but last until around February or so. I've been on LE since May so need to give my body a break too anyway. I just hate the idea that all my de-conditioning may very well go to waste. Atomic said I surely did O last cycle but the opk and lack of signs threw me off (I've always had a huge amount of CM but it's fairly non existent in recent months) September was when we first started trying and AF started early giving me an LP of 9 days or else super early O (well between cd10-12 which is unheard of for me!) But regardless of all that we were dtd at the right times, if I had my usual 13 day LP we had our September attempt at O-2 and our October attempt at O-1 (if I went by my +opk that was definitely wrong we dtd at maybe O-2 but based on LP it was O-1) My diet is crumbling as it stands, willpower is fading fast!! I have put down the chocolate but ate the crisps!

November 4th, 2015, 05:44 PM
Gotcha, Nann. I wish I was better about not compulsively telling my DH everything about my cycle. He literally knows everything. I told him about attempting this month (which he knew we had at least 1 attempt) and he said he knew that all of our attempts were in my fertile window. I guess I don't realize how much of my ttc planning comes out of my mouth, lol! He isn't quite ready to throw in the towel with ttc, so he was secretly hoping we were going to have a good attempt in this cycle. Lol! He knows me too well.
Poptart, sorry af showed up but glad you can move on to your next cycle! :D
Hopper, if you're going back and forth, I'd do the e3d if I were you. For me, it usually worked out that I reasonably only had one good attempt in my fertile window (somehow it usually ended up being o-4 and o-1).
I'm seriously not sure if my constant nausea is from my prenatal or not. I am confident my nausea late last night was from it, because I had 2 yesterday (I'm supposed to have 3 prenatals/day but they make me so sick that I only take 1). But today, I can't tell if it's an actual symptom or a side effect, lol! It's really frustrating.

Hopper I think either are a good option, maybe toss a coin? Or ask atomic?
I am a little excited as I have EWCM this morning. Last cycle I stopped Vitex, got EWCM 2 days later and Od same day.... Hoping this is exactly the same! If I O today then I have a O-2 which is ok, if tomorrow I'm not going to be happy with an O-3 (although I did prop lol ) hmm however the IC OPKs haven't been showing even a hint of a line, will do one later this morning and see what it tells me [emoji4]

Lol momamia! So they do actually listen to us then ;) I'm always wondering if DH bothers!! Good point about the e3d hun, I was thinking an O-4 attempt would be useless based on my last two cycles, though thinking about it it may well be that I haven't propped my hips or lay on my tummy (which I am excited to try this month!! The lack of CM makes me think the environment could be a lot more hostile than when we conceived the boys! I'm always ill from prenatal vitamins - actually folic made me ill on DS2 so at about 8 weeks I had to stop everything for a couple of weeks. I had been on folic for about 8 months prior to ttc though so my doctors were ok advising me to stop for a bit. Hopefully the nausea is baby related though, I can take prenatals while not pg and be fine but the minute I get pg and take them I am sick as a plane to Lourdes!!!
Thanks mammacass, Atomic said it's up to myself lol,I am useless at deciding haha! Hopefully you will O today hun, and the propping surely helped!!! Keeping everything crossed this is your time x

That's strange about becoming ill from vitamins! Never heard that before! Id say go with E3D. My CM is really hostile too, before my first son I used to get EWCM and I don't any more ; or maybe one glob of it before I O, but my fertility issues only arose after having him when we tried for number 2!
This month im gonna stick with every 4 days then stop in time to have an attempt the day after my positive opk as I have ovulated 2 days later for the last 3 months so ive not had an O-1 attempt yet. I always prop though!

Hopper, since this is your last cycle TTC for awhile, I'd go with E3D. My reasoning behind it is I was looking at my last cycle and our BD pattern fell into the E4D pattern (not intentionally) and we ended up DTD once 3 days before O. We couldn't DTD at a pos. opk because it had been only three days since our last attempt. Even though we did conceive from that, the odds are pretty low according to a study I looked at recently. Doing E3D would have put us at O-1 which is MUCH better and with that, you'd probably end up getting a pos. OPK that day anyway. I know you may not necessarily end up with one attempt at O-3 with the E4D pattern but it's just an example of how it could decrease odds of pregnancy. Or ya know...you could flip a coin. ;D I think since you've been on the diet since May, that works in your favor and you're probably more "pink friendly" now than you would be when you start TTC again next year.

And have decided to go e3d but depending on tomorrow's opk we may not start our attempts til Friday. DH is away for business from 8am Saturday morning til about 8am Monday morning so if we started tomorrow we wouldn't get any attempt in to cover us for the weekend. So e3d we shall go with and hope for the best!! Would feel confident in an O-2 or O-1 attempt. DH put in his two cents worth this evening - he says he distinctly remembers me propping my hips to conceive the boys so he reckons try a couple of mins with propped hips and then tummy lying for 5 mins too. Please let the propped hip/tummy lying make the difference.

Pop tart, essence, and everyone else I'm moving onto the next cycle with you all. I had waaaay to many pregnancy symptoms to be pregnant- it's always the odd months. So this month I started my cycle on 10/8, positive opk 10/24 but think I ovulated 10/26 and got my period 11/4. This is my 4th month TTC. I am doing diet, somewhat the exercise, saw palmetto but dropped vitex this month due to last month lutel phase being really short. Hubby is taking ole off and on. My diet the past month hasn't been great. Lower in protein than normal but fat and calories are going a little up. I reign in some but fluctuate. I don't know what to change this month, wondering if drop all supplements or what. We tried every 4 days and then I did an extra attempt at 3 days when I saw when I ovulated.
Hopper, I'd try e3d since you are going to stop shortly. I'm getting close to my time period I have to take a break and wondering if I should do the same.
Ugh so annoying starting the next cycle!!!!

Uterus thickening vibes coming your way, magical! :D
Thanks everyone! I'm not sure why they make me so nauseous. DH is being a pessimist and saying he doesn't think I'm pregnant this cycle because he "isn't feeling it." WTF, lol! Poop on him and his negative vibes!! How could he say such a thing? Then in the next sentence he says, "What if you are and it's twin boys?!" I seriously wanted to smack him. He's being such a jerk today. :/ He's obviously joking about the twin boys thing (although my sister naturally conceived twin boys, lol!), but it's really annoying me that he's being such a party pooper. I'm trying to stay confident that this is our cycle, so I can rub it in his face!

dpike, I'd drop the saw palmetto in addition to the vitex and do E3D, if you're planning on taking a break. I personally feel like there's a window for a good strong sway and that's why I usually recommend dropping things around the 4th cycle. I've seen atomic do it too. It seems like if you go too long, your fertility is lowered too much and you have to start adding things to boost it again (which sways boy). I'd rather get a little looser with the girl sway things and get a BFP sooner, rather than wait until I have to start adding in boy things just to get a BFP. Know what I mean? But again, that's just me. Good luck!! :D

Well I took another pg test tonight. Stopped drinking water and waited a long time before going pee so it would be more potent. Still a negative. Technically tomorrow is 9dpo. So I'll test in the morning. Fingers crossed.
Is it possible I am in fact pregnant just testing too early?? I'm using the 10mlu.

Yes, way too early Nann! 10dpo is the earliest I'd test and lots of women don't get BFPs till after that. My best friend for instance, has never had a BFP before 11-12dpo, even on a FRER test.

Nann, I learned the hard way that you can't tell much by your chart. I had high temps, then a nice dip, and higher temps at the end. Then it all came crashing down on the last day. Some people notice their charts look like old bfp charts but that's the only benefit I've really seen. This month I'm just temping through O and then on the last day of my lp to see if my temp goes down.

CD17 here. I'm so sick of taking OPKs already. I pretty much have to take them every day because my cycles are so irregular. I'm tired of the line getting darker which gets me all excited and then it's light again the next day. Ugghhhh. Funny story: today I was driving to an appt. and I asked for some sort of sign that I'll be pregnant really soon. Right after that, I stop at the traffic light, look up and see a Babies R Us sign directly across from me. LOL I thought it was too funny. :giggle:

Sorry poptart that af arrived.
Magical fx your lining will thicken up!
Sorry dpike for af.
Momamia and Nann, sorry for bfns :( but it's still early, fx!
I thought my AF arrived today. I felt something wet coming from down there, felt just like when af arrives. I was sitting in a car and after that outside for awhile before I could go to the toilet to check if it was blood (had a panty liner just in case). I was really down as I was certain it was af. It wasn't, I just had loads of watery cm. I've been having some af type pressure in my stomach today and I'm really scared it's going to be af. I'm only 3dpo, cd25. Last cycle was 27 days long that's about my normal cycle lenght) but my lp was really short, it was something like 7 days. Now I'm worried af will arrive as I'm almost cd27/28 when I normally have af and as I'm having this pressure. If af will arrive I think I will call a doctor and make an appointment. I don't know if they can prescribe anything as we have been trying only for a little while now but I'm just so scared we will just ttc a month after month with me having a very short lp and with no hope even falling pregnant. I really don't want to be on LE many months from now on but also I really don't want to sway blue. Sorry for venting. I know I'm not out yet until af arrives but I can just so feel it coming :(

:giggle: That is crazy, ksmom! I would definitely take that as a sign! :D
I'm going to go get some frers today. I was trying to stay away from them because of their high likelihood of evaps, but since I'll be 11dpo tomorrow I think it'll be safe to use them. I've been using dollar store tests the last two days because I discovered with my BFP in my July cycle that they are very accurate. I'm just wondering if maybe a frer will pick up something that the dollar store test isn't.
ksmom
November 5th, 2015, 04:30 PM
I've found FRER to be very sensitive. I got a clear BFP on one at 9dpo when the wondfo was one of those faint shadow-y lines. I don't like the new shape of the FRER though, it's awkward to hold and compare tests. They look like a dang spoon! LOL
2xblue, is it possible you ovulated earlier than you thought? Last cycle I kept feeling like AF had arrived because it was so wet, but it was just tons of CM which I guess was from the pregnancy hormones. FX all of this is actually a good sign for you!

November 5th, 2015, 04:59 PM
ksmom, I have thought about the possibility if I have o'd earlier but I have made opks since like cd8 (like 3 tests a day)and only positive I got cd21. I had some signs around cd14 and thought I was going to o but no +opk. When I had my only +opk at cd21 there was no doubt about it. Test line was darker than control line, I had lots of cm and strong o pains.
Thank you, I really hope this would be a good sign but I strongly doubt it. I'm only 3dpo so the implantation can't happen this early right? I really hate this when my cycles have gone so weird.

So today is 5dpo and about 5 hours go I got some really sharp on and off sporadic pain in my right side. On my drive home day from work I was trying to convince myself that I am out this cycle with my disappointment so far with my temps, sharp pains, constant cramping, and nausea. I was doing this to soften the blow so I do hype myself up and get disappointed, along with taking to my belly telling the baby that we are ready for him/her this next cycle. I want to avoid any stress therefore feel like I need to convince myself it didn't work out. As I am trying to convince myself and talking to my belly during my drive a rainbow suddenly appears in front of me, light at first, but it continually gets darker and more vivid than I have ever seen, then a second rainbow appears. I took this as my hope restored that something unexpected, though totally explanatory, can happen.

How long has your lp been in these 2 months? I think it's absolutely the diet that makes these changes. I had no problems getting pregnant before.
