I do have another question. I have preseed this time.. But I'm not sure how much to use.. Anyone have experience with preseed?? How much should I fill the applicator???

Nann I used preseed this cycle too but I never used the applicator. Just applied a little to the entrance and dh used on himself but I was trying not to use much. It goes a looonng way so maybe try a quarter or half applicator? Or post the question on the ttc forum and you may get more answers from past and previous users :)

A lot of people just use about an inch of Preseed when using the applicator. That's what I do! I couldn't imagine using more than that!

I have been using it, I usually go to the "2" line of the Applicator, any more then that and it gets to be too much of a good thing :)

29064I know I was not going to test until tomorrow. I am not sure if I a 7 or 8 dpo today. But at 4pm I did a frer test and a faint line came up within 4 mins. I am not going to get excited yet but I had to post it as I cant tell anyone I will put a pic up. I can def see a line in person. Prob another one of those great evap lines that I ALWAYS get.

Pinkin i think i can actually see what you mean!! Does it have colour as its to faint to make out in pic but this is how mine started at 8dpo! I didn't post it at the time as I too thought it was probably just an frer line. My 9dpo was much easier to see so that's when i posted on here. I cant wait till your morning test!!! This is so exciting!

I'm cd40 today. Never had a cycle this long. Really frustrating. I will do a pregnancy test tomorrow but not feeling hopeful. I had many cheats around Christmas, feeling sad about that too even though I know it's not going to ruin my sway. Well back on track tomorrow.

That's what I've been thinking too. I took ibuprofen two days after +opk which can interfere ovulation. So it is possible I didn't ovulate or o'ed later. I don't chart. If I o'ed later I have little hope as we had unprotected sex at +opk and 5 days after. If I didn't o at all when does AF arrive usually in a cycle like that?

Just feel bleh every now and then - as in mild nausea and saliva build up. I was very lucky with my boys as while i had pretty much all day nausea I never threw up and was able to eat and drink normally pretty much :)

So what cd did you get the pos opk? I've also just been reading that ibuprofen can delay o by approx 5 days.

Hopefully the nausea will stay mild. I had it quite bad with every pregnancy. Well never had to go to hospital or anything but was feeling really nauseous 24h and threw up alot.

I got +opk on cd19.

Thanks PBN. I normally O anywhere from day 13-20 so with taking Clomid days 3-7 I have no clue what to expect. I'm hopeful with the Clomid this month and the HSG procedure 3 weeks ago that it's perfect timing and get a BFP this cycle.

It could be CD15 or CD21, with me leaning more toward CD21. I'm not familiar with that charting app so I don't know what all the colors and symbols mean.

Dpike going by temps alone I would say cd21 or 22. It also looks like you had ewcm or watery cm just prior to your temps raising which also indicates o around these days. Cd15/16 also looked good temp wise but i wouldn't think you'd get fertile cm again a week later so that's why i think cd21/22 :)

No our last attempt was CD16. I wanted to get in 1 more attempt (trying to do every 3 days) but it didn't work out. I felt like I had ovulated around CD 15/16 so I didn't worry too much. Kind of a weird cycle- not much ovulatory pain which I usually get strong pinches. I started to get higher opk on CD 14 but not positive yet. I only had 1 and didn't get more in time-or at least I thought. My kids also get up too much at night and we've been off schedule from the holidays so I def. need other forms to confirm ovulation. I don't completely trust my temps. With Christmas in this month also, it's been crazy. Also I just realized I am using a bbt therm. But the chart is only asking me for 1 decimal place, I'll have to switch that to 2 decimals next month. Actually I will download fertility friend.

Last month was my longest cycle since getting my Mirena out-29 days. I thought I was a week late and had every symptom possible. Silly me!! Maybe diet is making my cycles longer? So annoying!

I Normally O around 14-16. On Cd16 and cd 20 I messed up my temps or had to move so don't have temps then. I think that is throwing things off too. I did think I oed around 15/16 but then got a few twinges a couple days later but I don't remember have no fertile cm then and I usually cramp from ovulation to AF. I'll try to be more diligent about charting cm and temps next month and get my opk!!

Do you mean your cycle in total was 29 days? Because in that case I'd be asking how sure you were of the cm you recorded cd18-20 as oing on cd15-16 on a 29 day (give or take a few days) cycle makes way more sense :) I find it hard to believe your cycle would increase by a whole week from one month to the next - that would be crazy!!

I do get cm after I ovulate but I could have creamy/sticky and not watery. I may have marked that wrong. I'm hoping my cycles don't grow by weeks every month!!! I've always had regular 28 or around there cycles my whole life but a little shorter after Mirena. Guess I'll see how this week goes!

Ok so... Yesterday I brought a 3 pack of First Response. Did a test at 4 pm and it came up with a faint line within the 4 mins... Did another test at 9 pm and the line actually looked a tad darker ... I then did happen to do my final test this morning which showed another faint pink line that hubby even saw. I didn't want to post this mornings test after last month putting up too many pics and esp with my history of evaps. Anyway so I brought a new 7 pack of frer today and decided to take one at 2 pm.. totally neg.. was a bit disappointed and thought maybe the test was faulty so tried again at 4pm. neg :(.. Pretty sure I am8dpo today possible 9dpo but all my ovulation symptoms and opk point to 8dpo. Little disappointed but not going overboard this month

These are my tests this morning, fmu. I can see a line, it's more visible than two days ago. First picture was taken after 10min and second one after 20min (in the package it says that after 30min it's invalid). I'm not sure if it has colour or not. I can see the line clearer in person than in the picture. What do you ladies think?

I can see it for sure in your first pic pinkin and quite easily!! Give it time to darken up and don't forget that some tests are more sensitive than others even within the same brand. That actually looks a tad darker than yesterday's to me so now i definately cant wait to see your fmu test!

Yes, attempt again! I don't O till after my opk turns negative so I would definitely attempt or risk missing the egg. You can't have too many attempts with a boy sway! How many do you have so far?

So much involved for me and the risks of taking it , just a shame really. But anyway! 9dpo today.. I have no symptoms of any kind.. Boobs are not sore at all no cramps

I'm currently on 12dpo & have tested bfn so far. Trying not to be too disappointed as its only our first cycle ttc & attempts could have been better so am kind of looking forward to just getting af & getting on with the next cycle. Still have some queasiness but seems to be gone by lunch time. I was having lots of burping too but that has settled. Sometimes I get some tenderness with bbs but could also be af getting close. My lp on average is 13 days but can go as long as 14/15 days. My temp has been down the last couple of days but went up this morning but I'm probably just wanting to read too much into it.

Thanks Pbn. I went from 36.08 yesterday to 36.38 today so maybe I'm not out yet. The hpt I took this morning was a first response but it was a dip one not the frer so thinking maybe it's too early yet to pick it up. Then I tell myself that it's just wishful thinking lol. Wait & see what these temps do in the next day or so. Don't think I'll re-test for another 2 days if AF doesn't show by then.

I have taken clomid a few times and it results in really painful ovulation for me but I took it 5-9 and 6-10 and heard the later you take it the more pain.. I was sure last time was the most painful. I would still take it again however as it mean I actually ovulate at a decent time!


With the frer lines, my shadow line showed up within a few minutes so it wasn't an evap but some tests just have a bigger indent than others. I'm probably going to wait until at least 12dpo in the future to avoid being disappointed with possible lines.

Farmgirl - I have had a bfp cycle with a big dip like that. I got a bfn and then didn't get the bfp until 14dpo. Fx!!

Thanks Purple. I actually did a chart overlay using my current chart & the cycle I fell pregnant with my last daughter & they are very similar, they both show a dip & then a rise again. I got a bfp with my daughter at 10dpo though so I guess I was assuming that if I was pregnant then it should have shown at 10dpo too.

The input you can add to the chart for cm is low, Med, high -which I don't get a whole lot of anything except watery. I'm going to start using FF when AF starts. I'm use to seeing others FF charts so that will prob help me.

I was feeling hot the past couple days (unusually hot here though) and was kind of thinking about testing until this mornings drop. My husband said my boobs were bigger and I'm having a odd pain in my hips- like when your hips are expanding during pregnancy. But I had a temp drop this morning and waiting for AF. Seriously, I've never seen a drop like this. Def. not testing now, buying OPKs and preg. Tests tonight. On to my 6th month :(. I'm wondering about adding something in. I stopped votes and SP and hubby is only taking OLE.

Realistically you could be 9,10 or 11 dpo and a big dip like that does not count you out in fact if its out of the ordinary it could be a good thing. I think it was taytum who had a huge dip right b4 her bfp - I'm going to try and find her chart but this is a bfp chart i pulled from the net. Not trying to get your hopes up dpike but i dont want you to lose hope yet either :)29079

Pinkin, hugs. It's really frustrating when you see something in your tests and then it turns into bfn. But I still have hope for you. How many months have you been ttc?

Well I'm dpo22 if I count it from the +opk I got but it could be that I ovulated later. Really weird cycle. I don't know what to think.

Try for at least a two hour hold with limited fluid prior to holding or three if you can manage :) so excited for you 2xblue!! Maybe you did o later!

If this will be a bfp I'm worried how many attempts we did. We had unprotected sex at +opk, then 5 days later and then some days after that but can't remember exactly how many days apart.

Also worried I got waisted on Saturday as I thought I was out. Didn't plan to drink so much but it just happened as we had a girls night at one of my friends house. Well, can't do anything now. What happened, happened...

2xblue dont worry about the drinking session. I've read so many times that bub doesn't share our blood until around 5 weeks (from first day of last period) and that's why doctors are rarely concerned about what's happened in the 2ww. You certainly aren't the first and wont be the last this happens to. I myself got wasted before my ds1 bfp because I too thought I was out. Just don't drink anything from here on in until you have a conclusive answer :)

2xblue I can see a line! I had a line like that on an IC with DS1 at about 11dpo. I think your O was delayed as sometimes you can get an OPK+ but O later, it has happened to me.

Don't worry too much about drinking as it is more of an issue when you are further along, I think around 7-8wks is more of a risky time for drinking.

2xblue I can see a pink line on that test! It looks darker than the other one you posted. I think you just o'ed later than normal and you're not as far into the TWW as you think. FX for a BFP next test!

2xblue-I can also see a faint line!! Woohoo!! Don't worry about the alcohol. I've heard the same thing about baby not sharing our blood till 5/6 weeks also. I sometimes get throw away cups and put FMU in them and then get some tests when I do school drop off :)

My big dip seemed like something was interfering with my temp but other than the way I sleep I was pretty sure it was right. I don't know if I was mouth breathing or not? I'm going to try to investigate that now. Today I don't fully trust my temp. Moved around with kids all night but it did go back up.

That's a pretty good rise, dpike. It looks a like like my bfp with DS1. I used to panic about every drop, but my midwife said that a dip like that can just mean the body is switching from progesterone sources. I suppose the fact that I temp "the other way" haha helps since I know it's never from mouth breathing.

My temp dropped a bit this morning down to 36.07, not below cover line but yesterday it was 36.38. Thinking I should save my frer until Saturday if Af doesn't show instead of potentially wasting it.

I know you may not want to pinkim but van you put up a pic please. Evap lines do not have colour and that is why we were all convinced we seen a proper line on you 8dpo test - it had colour. I'm sorry you are going through this :(

It's not an evap if it comes up right away. That's a positive. It might be an early positive or a chemical, but it's not an evap. I'd give it two or three days and test again. 10dpo is still VERY early considering the egg probably didn't even implant until 6 or 7 dpo.

Pinkin - really have my fingers crossed that it darkens for you. But yeah I always thought a line even if faint is a positive if it comes up within the time. I could see a line on the tests you put up a couple days ago.

Well I caved & tested using fmu & got a faint line on a frer. It came up within a couple of minutes. Dh could see it too. I took a digi but it said not pregnant so hoping my levels just aren't high enough yet.

A digital didn't register for me until 2 days after my first faint line. So give it a few days and just do frers.

Pinkin I promise I had bfn between most of my BFPs too and it's not an evap if it comes up in the fist few mins. Give yourself a few more days and you'll get more answers. There are lines there so either it's chemical or you got a slow BFP, FX for the later.

I've collected FMU in a cup and left it for a few hours for doctors appointments before. They always say 12 hours or so is just fine, leave it at room temp and make sure it's a clean container.

You all, I THINK I have a squinter. I stopped at the dollar store yesterday to get kids candy for a car ride and there were cheap hot test at the checkout so I couldn't help myself. Any thoughts? Not excited yet, I need to see a darker line. I had 3 minutes to read the test and this pic is within those 3 minutes.

My temps went up again a little today BUT super hot last night. At my parents house and I sleep between both of my kids who got so hot they stripped down to their boxers. Haha!

It is 15 days..... I am 10 dpo pretty sure as I get the same pain once a month and when I used to temp it always matched up so going by opk and pain I am 10 dpo

I know every test has different sensitivity levels even from the same box but it really is awful to go from line to no line, line again, no line :( have you thought about trying a different early result brand to maybe try with fmu tomorrow just for sanity sake?

I've seen the pregnisos brand that claims its sensitive and can be used 6 days before like the frers. I used them one cycle and they seemed ok? Was a bfn cycle. I also used this time around after getting a line on frer.

No its quite common but the confusing thing is yours had colour and that indicates its a bfp not an evap. Plus you shouldn't be seeing it nearly every test.

Talking about losses (hopefully I'm not being insensitive ksmom, that's not my intention). I have to tell you about the dream I had last night. I was pregnant and started to bleed little and the baby came out and it was really tiny, a size of a coin but it looked like a real baby already. And it had a little penis. I was devastated I had a miscarriage and the fact that it was a boy. It felt so real and I was really sad in the morning. I feel so bad that I want a girl so much. I know I will love another boy but this is just really hard...

Ladies, can you tell how far along in the pregnancy I am based on my frer? The picture was taken after 3min. I know it varys in different people how fast hcg increases but I'm just curious how many dpo I am. I think I will call next week and ask for a dating scan (usually we don't get free dating scans unless your cycles are irregular I think).

That dream doesn't sound pleasant. I think its common to get weird dreams in pregnancy. I had a few where I would have the baby cut out of me and missing, I think I had a fear of needing a csection maybe it affected my dreams. I didn't have csections so it was just a dream :)

I guess I had this dream because I was doing my exercise yesterday (walking outside in the evening) and I was thinking alot about swaying and what if this really is a bfp and then it hit me that it must be a boy. Well looks like I've had a chemical. My temps dropped way below cover line today & my frer was negative. I've had some AF like twinges so I would say she will arrive today sometime. I'm ok, glad to know my symptoms weren't in my head at least. The sooner Af comes the sooner I get to try again. I will try to post a pic but it may be blurry, just depends on Internet strength.

Pbn - I'm always a mouth breather I think. I cant really temp vaginally as my 2.5 yr old comes into bed with me when she wakes (5-5.30am). She has a sipper cup of milk & cuddles with me until we both drop off to sleep for a bit longer or we get up.
