I'd say that's a great cardio if you can keep it up for an hour!

Sent from my D5803 using Tapatalk

I need not be interrupted i guess! Perhaps i can change it up every few days doing some type of fitness video or walking somewhere and back.. Im trying to convince my hubby we need a treadmill - we've had two exercise bikes before which became clothes horses.. so he thinks it will take up space and become a redundant piece of equipment once BFP :) (i think he is rite but im still going to try and convince him till i get my way! :giggle:

Woah an hour on a trampoline is awesome! That takes some stamina! I reckon as long as it's getting your heart rate up that's good cardio? It's raining again here today so will be doing more stair stepping instead of going for a walk. It's absolutely pouring down and tbe boys are just getting over colds so don't want to drag them out needlessly. Wish we could get out though am going stir crazy (I don't drive). I mostly know boy mums who are all shapes and sizes from a uk six to overweight. The all girl mum's I know are average sized ladies but their husbands are quite sporty?? Xx

Not completely sure but this whole cycle I have been very chilled out.
Almost finished decorating my house, which was a huge stress, spring is here and
Probably resisting the urge to shout at my boys and in moderation turning a blind eye to a lot of stuff they are doing.

Xx 2nd comment was from a parent down the school, who also has 3 boys and also mentioned she would love a girl, but isn't going to have another one. so I tried telling her about swaying really don't think she understood, she thought it was all to do with swaying your hips lol. Really would love to have a girl and go down my boys school and rub it in that swaying worked ha ha.

I think once you get into it, you really start to enjoy it and therefore find it easier - for me, it's all in the mind! Like I would struggle to do the same circuit twice in one run even if the distance is less?! Would be nice to have an exercise bike that I could sit on in the evenings in front of tv though for the evenings I can't/don't want to run!!

No exercise as yet today, will probably run again later unless I manage to get to the gym instead...

Keep up the good work ladies x

hi all how is everyone doing, I took another day off yesterday, but to be honest I was completely exhusted I crashed before 9pm last night. I was up the hospital with my brothers girlfriend the night before, but after waiting over 2 hours she refused to wait another 2+ hours so yesterday morning I was running around taking her and an old lady to two different doctor practices, then dropping the girlfriend home before taking the old lady shopping.
25 mins left of my work out this am then I'm off for my hospital appointment. Yay fun, not!

failed dismally on the exercise front yesterday as was going to head to the gym last night, but having been away for the last few days hubby was feeling neglected so I stayed in to watch the walking dead final with him. By then I was too knackered and headed straight to bed. As a result today though, I'm feeling really quite down and like I'm lacking purpose?! The boys are still off school so we've had a busy morning sorting bits out but I'm feeling really on edge and down. I frequently suffer like this if I've not exercised so I think it's just that but it sucks as I'm struggling to do anything else now as a result

I too have to exercise first thing or close to it. I just completed a 70min walk wearing DS3 in a front carrier while pushing DS2 in a stroller. It was windy and of course I was against the wind the whole time. I'm feeling it now!

I too feel restless and agitated if I haven't exercised in a bit, 3'sacharm. I can totally relate. I hope you can find some time today.

Hi ladies

I have been following you all on here for a couple of weeks, I have enjoyed reading some of your funny posts, they have made me chuckle!

I must say I am finding it hard! Pink sway is a big lifestyle change for me, diet wise, I love exercising but with two young boys, 5 and 18 months, it's hard finding the time and energy to fit it in; I'm sure lots of you can relate! I'm hoping clocking in on here might make me feel accountable and make sure I do it no matter what! Although I build up muscle so easily I'm not sure whether I should just be going couch potato?! Who knows!

I only managed a 40 minute run outside today, ran out of time. Any outside runners find the running is actually getting harder?! I thought it would be getting easier by now but with every run my body is seeming to find it harder, how does that work?!

3'sacharm
April 8th, 2016, 03:57 AM
Hi davesig4 and welcome!!! I regularly run and some days are harder than others; that being said, there are variables to that such as going faster without realising/pushing harder, or just generally being more fatigued at times. I find it best to have a couple of loops to choose from so you can't just "nip" back home, you have to complete the loop to get home. I aim for 10-15km each time to make sure I get my hour in, which by the time you've stopped for traffic/crossed the roads etc and cooled down after it adds up to an hour easily.

The diet is the hardest part for me too, I can do coffee, fibre, skipping breakfast/long fast overnight and not snacking (surprisingly!!!) but not having the sweet treats is a killer - i love food generally especially cakes and biscuits but obviously chocolate too!! I just hope that all this isn't in vain and that my dh agrees to ttc eventually X

Hello davesig4... welcome to the madhouse! No offence ladies!!

How long have you been going with the diet/exercise? I'm not exercising outdoors, but I'm definitely finding it harder the longer I go on. I wonder if it is the general fatigue of the LE diet? I've been swaying since first week of January and exercising 5-6 times per week. I'm struggling a bit at the moment. Had a tough week, kids off school, so lots of days out and go-to foods. Plus, my whole body just aches with all the exercise and I feel so fatigued. So far I have lost more than 20lbs but am struggling with general well-being, conjunctivitis, weak nails and hair and lethargy etc. I'm trying to be pleased that this means its all having an impact but its haaaaaarrrrrrrrd going!

Do keep on visiting here hun. The ladies are so down to earth and lovely-we're all going through it together. My absolute best thing for motivation when I've had enough on the TM is to imagine all the lovely ladies here doing exactly the same thing!! That keeps me going!

Hi davesig4! It does help to have somewhere to chat about the exercise and hear others going through the same struggles.

Glittermouse loosing 20 pounds is amazing! Does sound like your body is finding things hard, great for pink but not for you,Big hugs!!

3sacharm it's hard when you are confined to house exercise isn't it!

I only managed 20 mins on the bike today, had to be that or nothing so I did it at a higher speed and intensity, trying to make up a little for my iced buns at lunch time as I don't want to sacrifice my evening wine ;-)

How much fat and percentage is everyone averaging a day? I realised from tracking that although I eat low calories a day, it tends to be higher in fat percentage which might explain why I tend to not gain nor loose on my normal eating diet and have a little extra padding round the middle rather than evenly spread.
I think today my fat % was about 34 % which is only slightly over, but I suspect usually it's more like 45 to 50%.

Hi Glittermouse

Well done for your 20lbs, that's amazing! I wish I could be so successful!

I started by cutting out meat at the beginning of Jan. Went full on LE at the beginning of Feb, no meat, no breakfast/snacking, drinking diet coke which I have never done before, cutting out more nutritious foods. And I lost about 7lbs in those 2 months, my calorie intake was quite low and I lost quite a lot of muscle in these 2 months, probably also because I'm hardly eating any protein. In March I think my diet was slightly more relaxed and my weight has gone up and down by a couple of pounds which is really annoying, but because I know I'm not allowed to eat at certain times I keep thinking about food! I think this is why I have been slacking a bit! But I have been doing more exercise, which I know has increased my muscle in my legs. Which is going to increase my testosterone I suppose! Argh, so frustrating! We were going to have our first attempt this month but I can't help thinking that I haven't done enough lately, maybe even cancelled out any good I did in the first 2 months, so now I don't know what to do.

I did manage to get out of the house at 6.20 this morning for a run though which was quite nice, I was quite pleased with myself! Did 50 minutes, 8.5k. 3'sacharm, I don't know how you manage 15k in an hour! You must be superwoman!

Oh no davesig4 - if it's nearer the 15k mark then it's well over an hour, about 1hr 20! If it's only 10km though then it's about 50mins so I usually try to extend it, but doing the loops it's tricky to extend without going for quite a bit longer!! Well done for getting out so early to run though, I hate running early morning When it's dark. Today should be interesting as a busy one for my eldest's birthday, will see how I go with *an hours* bouncing at the trampoline place and if it doesn't reach it, then I'll head out tonight once all in bed for a run I think...x

You ladies always make me laugh and smile! I wish we could all exercise together- it would be so much fun!

I did my 60min walking while wearing DS3 and pushing my two oldest boys. It's so hard pushing 100lbs while wearing a 16.5lbs baby! I push myself and walk briskly. Needless to say I'm really feeling it right now!

I'm might have to partake in a nap when DS2 and DS3 nap...

Nope I'm in the tww, 8dpo. Got sore breasts too! Just taking fiber and folic acid and metformin now and have been taking these for a few months now without any of these side effects.

If I don't get a BFP soon the this is the craziest pmt/pms I have ever had! Lol

OMG, just finished 60 min. dancing/aerobic-cardio on the floor in my living room while the kids where playing outside. I followed the usual You Tube-videos 'Pump it up' from 2004 (very 80ish) and the popular Bipasha Basu 'Break free full routine https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tj9d6aBOzDo

I was soooo bored and counted the minutes till my alarm clock rang. What keept me going was thinking about the hot shower and the nice lunch that I deserved afterwards. I am definately better and more energetic when doing my cardio first thing in the morning. When I do it around lunch time, I get so exhausted and bonking.

Well now it's done. Tomorrow I will take a fast one hour-walk in the forest with our dog. I would die, if I had to do the same type of cardio every day. If any of you busy ladies have a good 'do it at home' aerobic-dance-video, please share the name. I need some variation from the two I always do.

Dream sister - ministry of sound pump it up is really good; haven't done it in years as mislaid it somewhere when we moved two years ago but the music is great, dance music typical of the year and the dance routines are great for getting your heart rate up without boredom.

I've been for an hours walk with the boys on their scooters but will be running later when the boys are in bed.x

This is the dvd I was referring to:

Didn't run in the end tonight due to the bloody persistent rain! Gah! I don't mind a little bit but it's been heavy and constant so just went to the gym and did an hour on the bike.

I think the same as you ladies re America and value for money with property! Amazing how far your money can go, but lots of negatives of living out there too, would rather go to Oz!

I just want to be pregnant so I don't have to worry anymore about all of this, eating/exercising; the exercising bit isn't so bad, it's just making sure I'm doing the full hour for at least 6 days a week which can be tough sometimes with 12 1/2 hour shifts plus commuting time. But the plus side of a working day is that I tend to eat better as less temptation/easier to decline.x

Thanks ladies! The baptism was wonderful and so was the party afterward. My DS3 is quite the people person and was laughing and cooing the whole time [emoji4].

We are going to put an offer down on the house tomorrow and hope everything goes through. There are a few things that will need updating in time, when I go back to work once the littles are all in school. There is nothing pressing that we need to do right away though, which is nice.

We live in Illinois in the US. I've always been a naturally skinny boy mom- I'm very athletic and active with my boys. It's mostly that I eat like a hobbit and exercise/stay active to be able to eat what I want when I want. The only thing that makes this diet doable for me while nursing, is the cardio. I love to run but can't right now until my DS3 gets bigger and can sit up in the jogging stroller. The fast walking while wearing my DS3 gives me something to focus on instead of what I'd like to be eating but can't [emoji38]!

This is my absolute last chance to give my DH a DD so I'm doing all I can and the best I can for him.

Good job ladies!!

I found that I didn't gain much weight with DS3, only 20lbs, despite swaying pink (he was my sweet sway opposite). I think the LE diet for 13mo changed me forever, lol! I still don't eat much and find the diet to be rather easy.

I'm looking forward to not having to worry about protein or fat levels- just to eat what I want. The no snacking thing is second nature now, and I can't imagine going back to that anymore! Sometimes I do have a cheat snack, but it's not near what I used to eat! I find I need this when I've done way too much exercise since I'm nursing or I've gone too strict with calories/fat/protein. I think it all balances out in the long run. I still don't eat how I used to before my failed sway, even when I was pregnant.

April 10th, 2016, 05:17 PM
That's reassuring to hear, 20 pounds is amazing! I usually gain about 2.5 stone and end up with about a stone to loose by exercise and diet but find that hard with a baby. I agree though, the diet does make you re-evaluate what you eat. I'll Def. Be eating more fruit and lower fat foods and appreciate the odd burger ;-) I'm taking metformin at the moment and I think it makes my sugar levels so much lower than I feel rubbish and need a quick sugar fix so I'll look forward to not taking them anymore

Wauhh, XXfb, that sounds great with a new, big house. The price is really cheap. Here in Denmark, where I am, the houseprices are much much higher (300,000 for a house in the suburb). Are you moving to a hole new area? I hope you get the house. Having plenty of space is so nice and makes everyone more comfortable, because the noise is lower and everyone can have some space of their own. We once lived at only 85 m3 but now have 270. We still have to renovate the basement though if we get #4. I hope you get the house. It is so exited to move into something new and decorate.

Thanks! Here is my sway:

Breastfeeding
LE diet sticking to limits with 1800-2000cals to keep my milk supply up
Exercise 60-70min cardio 6+ days a week
Alcohol 3-4 days a week from AF-O
BDing every 4 days
Folic acid 2400mcg
CoQ10 100mg twice a day
*Fiber before fatty meals once DS3 is 6mo

Thats what i was thinking maybe because I did zero with my boys that some this time is just enough of a opposite!
I may have exercise for 3-4days in a row 1 week with a days break then back on it for another 2-3days then maybe 2 days break then maybe another 3 days with another days break. kind of my pattern as it was such busy month something would pop up! This is why I guessed it averaged every other day!
Yay on tww!

Huge congrats BR!! I can't wait for you to test Jennypenny!

I did my usual walk wearing my DS3 and pushing my DS2 in a stroller. We took a gander down a trail off the route we take. It was a nice change!

I too think any change is great from when we got our boys. The exercise piece was a bit tricky for me as I think it contributed to me getting my DS3 last time. I did the dancing type cardio for 25-30min followed by power yoga,to keep my heart rate up, to round out the 60min. I didn't want to chance it this time, so I'm only doing cardio. I may do PiYo afterward some days, but I don't see that happening anytime soon! Especially since we are moving forward with getting the new house!

I managed to do a spin class followed by a combat class tonight. 2 hours in total and according to my polar monitor I burnt 1015 calories. It makes me want to reward myself with my giant Easter egg I have sat on top of the fridge! But I shall refrain and have to feel content with my iceberg and cucumber salad for lunch and my bowl of veg or dinner, delightful!

Think I need to start admitting to myself that's my BFP, I'm pregnant.
I said to my hubby I can eat anything now so maybe I will have some sausages and bacon today, then when it came to buying it I felt slightly queasy at the thought of it I think I will stick to a nice salad! This diet and exercise has changed me. Don't get me wrong I still like a burger now and again ( espcially if it's a big tasty just try and stop me) chocolate and sweets yum! But right now salad sound yummy!!!!

I'm going to take a day off I think. DS3 is teething and I may have had a broken 4 hours sleep. I'm not too sure- everything is a blur. I may change my mind....

Still no AF. I've been faked out. BFN Sunday with a blue dye test and those never work for me. I'll get a FRER or a CB digi this weekend if nothing happens.

See this is weird. I've worked out much harder for longer periods of time with my other two boys while nursing, and my period always came right on time. Even when I used to run regularly. I had pink CM Saturday and Sunday along with cramps. Nothing. I also have had a dip in my supply with softer breasts like I always do before AF comes, DS3 doesn't seem to like the taste as well (this didn't happen when AF first came in March), I'm more thirsty, and my appetite is HUGE. Some of these could be progesterone related. Needless to say, I'm freaking out, which is an understatement, haha!

Glittermouse can you do something low key like just a walk/slow jog/low intensity bike? So now I'm only doing that once a week as I don't want to build muscle and just doing low key bike at home

Thanks hun for the reply and your suggestions. On Sunday we did have a big family walk, bit start stop to be honest, no sitting/resting, just pulling the boys out of puddles, mud pits etc My legs were so painful when I ran after them I thought I'd better rest and leave the TM for a while. I've just spent the last 2 evenings having muscle soak baths and using massage oil to try and soothe my legs (TBH it's been a real hardship and I've missed running in 16 layers in my freezing cold garage!!).

I think you may be right about the bike, I have one set up so will give it a go. Is that less impact on the legs? Otherwise I might have this week off fully to recover and then force myself to follow a proper warm up/cool down from then on?

How you getting on? Still feeling a bit weak/lethargic? Gotta mean it's working eh?

Why is it your legs are so sore glitter mouse?? Get on the bike!!! I find it a doddle compared to anything else; I like running but to be honest, I'm really not a fan of the treadmill so I'd lay off that and either walk for an hour or get on the bike for sure!! And yes, 3 days without exercise?!! You've made me seriously twitch now lol!!!x

I guess that for me any muscle aches mean Ive worked the muscles which I don't really want. I got a cheap exercise bike from argos for about £80 and do an hour a day on level 5 or 6 and only ache when I get off it but not later in the day like I do after a gym class or using the gym machines. I think an uphill walk would make me ache though when dieting!
I'm feeling OK but I have dropped 1 metformin tablet as I think it lowered my sugar too much. My plan is to eat low gi and low sugar/carbs/protein and the month of ttc to take my metformin again and grin and bare the aches and lethargic feelings. I've just booked my mum to babysit for 10dpo so me and Oh can go out for a slap up meal without worrying so much :-) Something to aim for!!

Ladies, thanks so much for your replies xxx

I think my legs are sore because they're injured. Lack of warming up , strain, wear and tear on them etc. Shin splint pain which a running specialist told me is largely caused by your calf muscles and mine are quite tight due to my running style. I'm not a natural runner, different strokes for different folks I suppose. I enjoy exercise but much happier doing yoga, pilates, aerobics DVDs that sort of thing. Just can't find one that lasts for 60 mins cardio?? Its all weights and toning and 20 mins cardio. I'm tied to working out at home. We don't have the budget for the gym at the moment- I already feel guilty on my boys for focusing so much on swaying so feel any extra cash should go on them-days out, treats etc.

I will defo give the bike a go. It's not an exercise bike but a road bike on a stand. Still be ok?

Chocolate, can I be thick? What is metformin? Your plan for a slap up meal sounds fantastic!!

Metformin is for Pcos to lower blood sugar levels, I used to have Pcos quite badly but it's eased off so taking it now may mean my sugar levels go quite low.

Yes I think your usual bike on a stand will be a great alternative for now!

I too struggle with shin splints, can only run every other day or less for 20 to 30 mins maximum before I get really bad pains. Don't suffer when I only run once a week and use the bike though :-)
It's great to have a date to aim too, I already know I'll be having lamb shoulder with garlic mash and veg followed by a pudding :-)

Welcome girlie you will have a lot of giggles in here. I have been including my warm up with in my hour because it's all about getting the heart rate raised for an hour and during the warm up up start getting your heart rate up. Could you maybe leave the cool down until after the hour is up. Because that is bringing your heart rate down again? Sounds like your off to a great start though!

How are you doing, Glittermouse? I also sometimes feel guilty on my boys for focusing too much on swaying. My boys must think I am a cardio-addict. In the weekends I always dress in running clocthes first thing in the morning to do the cardio outside or in the house at the floor while they play or watch iPad. Several days a week I get up at 5.15 and do the cardio first thing before they wake up. If you have the energy and are able to go early to bed I can recommend you to get up with sunrise and do your cardio at this time, because then you'll have the day and afternoons together with your boys. I can really recommend the Bipasha Basu full body routine workout-video you can look up at Youtube and continue with 30 min. fast walk outside. I think this will be gentle on your legs. Hope you are able to get back to the cardio soon.

What a lovely, kind reply dreamsister thank you and you too beautifulrainbow x You ladies are all so lovely and thoughtful and have offered me some really great ideas. My boys are only 3 and 4 years old so I do find it tricky to do anything for me really when I'm with them and especially to keep it going for an hour! They are still little and very needy!! I am up already at 5.30 am with my boys-they are very early risers and are frequently up through the night. Think this is also why its all taking its toll. Apart from the eldest being at school, I have the youngest for sometime during the day and then I work half the week too.

Having said all of that, I'm gonna give your ideas a go. I might try exercising straight after school when they're both tired from the day and happy to watch telly/ipad. I know I'll be mithered but I will try to move briskly whilst tending to their every whim!

I really fancy that 'Bipasha Basu', really sounds up my street. Maybe they'll join in with me? Will look into it later xxx

Yes, GlitterMouse, try to get your boys to dance with you. That sounds awesome. My youngest (5) is sometimes doing a little bit with me. The other two (8 and 9) teases me and calls it the sexy video because the dancers in the video dresses in hotpants and bra... I do it in the room where my nabours can't see.... Otherwise they must think I am in a 40-something mid life crisis running around in fittness clothes and doing sexy movements ha ha.
With two toddlers in the home you must be busy. I work almost full time five days a week, so fitting in one hour cardio almost on daily basis is also really a huge challenge. Happy that we got each other here on this forum to keep up motivation and support when there is no one else to talk to about swaying.

You ladies always make me laugh!

Welcome Girlieplease! I walk for an hour wearing my DS3 in a front carrier while pushing my DS2 in a stroller. This really gets my heart rate up! Walking briskly/power walking is great for pink!

The important part of the exercise is that it is cardio based for 60 full minutes. The cool down can be part of it, but if possible make it solid 60min followed by a cool down if needed.

My two youngest are at odd ages making it hard for me to do the exercise unless I do it this way. Do what works for you! I can't wait until my DS3 is older and enjoys my DH more so I can get back into running.

Thanks for the welcome everyone! I have three amazing children, one girl my eldest and then had ds1 and ds2. I have never tried to sway with any of my previous pregnancies but I would love to give dd a sister and she wants so badly it breaks my heart! I never had any problems conceiving my children but expect to have some difficulties now as am older and trying to sway pink. My dh is very anti swaying, though he is happy to have another baby. He thinks we will end up with a boy whatever we do. I think am going to exercise, skip breakfast, two meals per day, no meat and one attempt in fertile period, wine and see what happens and just accept it is mostly going to be a boy! Looking forward to this journey with you guy's and hope we all get healthy sticky beans soon! Must go to sleep as I have my cardio dvd to look forward to in a few hours!

That made me laugh! On a serious note though, although I am still laughing at your public bone! I got SPD when I was pregnant with my second, so painful my husband had to help me turn over in bed, and I had quite a small bump, even walking was excruciating. I was very active whilst pregnant, running, spinning, gym classes, but stopped for a while when I got SPD, then randomly I got so down not doing any exercise I went to a spin class, worked really hard and I literally felt like a new woman when I walked out! I practically flew out of the room and the SPD disappeared for good! I don't know why, perhaps the tilt of my pelvis on the bike managed to dislodge a nerve or relieve some pressure somewhere, but it was that that sorted it out!

Wauh, XXfh, it's truly amazing how you manage to push your two toddlers and be so active while still breastfeeding and wake up at night. Don't you get problems with your back? I remember when I was at maternity leave with my last two, I used to wealk/run for hours pushing the baby carriage in front of me. This nearly damaged my back so much that I had to spend lots of money on chiropractor to fix it.

Awe, thanks ladies! My back doesn't hurt because the front carrier I have has a great back support belt that wraps around to keep my posture correct.

I don't give my DH anything this time, because my sway has to be uber stealth, otherwise my DH will put the brakes on TTCing. He doesn't want to get his hopes up again for a DD.

My sway only includes the stuff that works, nothing else. Diet, exercise, one attempt through BDing every 4 days, folic acid, alcohol, and fiber once DS3 is 6mo. Nothing more. Plus, I'm not allowing myself to obsess over this and that like last time. I was a hot mess and totally missed the point of what swaying is to accomplish.

Plus, my DH eats mainly vegetarian with me and has pretty much adopted the LE lifestyle that I don't think he needs anything else to sway in his favor this time.

Only 50 mins on TM today, bad back again argh. Had 3 weeks intense treatment on it and apart from a lighter purse the only thing that's happened is I now have a bad neck to add to it. Moving on to the next stage of treatment and all my hopes are pinned on it! Sorry for the rant it just gets to me some nights.
Hope you're all doing ok with the excercise ladies.

Great job FL! I'm so glad your back is doing better!

I did my 60min walking with my boys. We walked the trails by our house and ended at the park there so my DS1 and DS2 could play. My DS3 loved watching them! Then we walked another 20min back home!

I'm not taking a day off this week- it might rain next Thursday and Friday. I won't feel bad about taking two days of in a row if I've done 10 days straight!

Hey ladies, I have not managed to get my hour of exercise done today, disappointed as I cannot do any on Wednesdays due to my work schedule, I am going out with friends at half seven, might try and do my exercise dvd, while kids are having dinner but as am abandoning my dh tonight, he will probably not be too pleased! Today is day 7 of cardio. It looks like it might rain on Thursday all day so I've been holding out to make that my day off. It'll make 9 days in a row [emoji12]!

I've come down with my first cold this year, which is pretty late since its Spring here. I feel pretty good considering, but it's caused my asthma to flare-up pretty bad. I find if I keep up regular exercise, I get over it quickly and my appetite goes way down (which is great for pink!)

Ladies, you're all doing great! Just pick yourselves back up and start again! I find the more kind we are to ourselves, the easier all this becomes. We've all made some big changes from how we got our boys. Let's focus on that and let that help us to regroup and continue on.

Happy Monday!!

These damn weekends make swaying harder! Too many naughty temptations and reasons not to do exercise! Last week was a crazy week for me and husband was away so my exercise was rubbish. Started well today though, ran to the gym, quicker than normal as I was running late! Then did a combat class and power walked back. Nearly 900 cals! Wish that meant that I could eat a mountain of chocolate! Proabably overate a bit at dinner though as was so hungry form the exercise earlier. I will be better tomorrow and aiming to go for a long run/walk with my 18 month old up some serious hills tomorrow lunch with him asleep in the pram. Fingers crossed, everyone please shout really loud to make me go, I might just hear!

I did my cardio workout this morning, I walked for an hour yesterday at a fast pace, but how fast does it have to be to be considered cardio? I thought it does not matter as along as your exercising because your not at rest? I run 4 -6 miles when I go so I do not think walking would ever get me out of breath of you see what I mean? I am not exercising tomorrow as it is the only day per week I cannot fit it in, Thursday I am running again and then swimming on Friday and Saturday and then running again on Sunday. Does that seem reasonable? I am finding it tough to get it fitted in but find getting up at 6am before the kids is great and then it is done for the day. Good luck with the exercising ladies!

Frilly Lady

Sound good to me Girlieplease, nice and varied too. I either run or speed walk, as long as my heart rate is raised then I'm guessing it's good.

XXforhubby

It's more important that it's any kind of cardio for 60min. Even leisurely walking for an hour is fine. It is slightly better to walk briskly/power walking but any cardio is good. Running is fine but it may cause people to lose too quickly and either need to eat more or stop exercising to bring back ovulation. Unless you were an avid runner before swaying, it might not be sustainable if it takes more than a few cycles to conceive.

i'm doing 6x / week too around 65 minutes with a mix of running and power walk since Feb. Sometimes I can't fit it in and end up doing 5x a week but trying to keep at 6x/week. Atomic I know there is a lot written about exercise... but what is it about exercise 60+min, vegetarian and 1 attempt that are having some great sway success?

I've got a feeling I'm out this month I tested today being 8dpo and negative ..
So am thinking of starting the cardio again as I can now and my visitors have gone home and I can get back into routine.

I'm just not sure if this will ok? Will it sway boy ? If I stopped and now restart again.
I will commit again to 5days plus a week TM

Hi BR , there is hope!! I just feel its a very important part of a girl sway, I really didn't want to stop but got so sick with the flu and then had to go away and also having visitors from intestate was hard to continue to commit .

Gladly I have still lost weight even though I stopped , has been 5 weeks since no exercise but only have lost 2kilos. When I was exercising it was a kilo a week . So do prefer the exercise route!!!

Iam over the diet though, but would do LE again to get weight off after I do have another baby .

How are you feeling br? Hows the eating going now that u can JUST EAT.... Whenever whatever

Absolutely knackered last night and today but went for a 9mile run this morning so that was 1hr 20mins of cardio. Glad to have it out the way but my back is niggling and felt quite sick when I got home, seems to have settled now though. It's nice to make the most of the weather while its here!
