Hmmm. Well brown is old blood so that is good. I'm wondering if you had a small owie on your cervix that got irritated. I had something similar happen around the same time as you, when I swayed last time. Atomic told me that in the 2ww our cervix is very susceptible to becoming irritated. The time frame does coincide with your BDing, since it is old blood. Hopefully that is all it is!

FX it stops!

I hope it stops too, I am ok with an 11 day LP but don't want it to get much shorter than that. I also have this ongoing pain in my left side of my stomach today, feels like a stitch you get after running etc but I have had it before in 2ww and it didn't mean anything then so I will just sit back and wait and hope this spotting goes away. Thanks so much for your reply XXforhubby, that puts my mind at ease a little.

Morning ladies. Exiting with all these things going on and all those waiting to test and attempt. My OPK's dosen't get much darker than on this pic. Do you think O is on It's way? I have had fertile EWCM for a couple of days now and a sugnificant rise in temperature two days ago. We had our attempt last night. And have been BDing frequently e2d up until now. When I forced hubby to BD last night he was like : I am so tired and just want to sleep, this is half rape. But he did his job. LOL. Hope we did it right on time.http://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20160906/490520b5bc4e46ed52c62b3199ec8216.jpg

Hope spotting stops, I have had a really short lp so am dpo 11 today and am delighted to get this far, better than a shocking 7 days lp of last month. Fingers crossed a wee bean is setting up home and that is what has caused the spotting x

Anyone good on ff? I think I ovulated on cd 19 but ff did not give me crosshairs until cd 22. Anyway temps are still sort of high and when I entered my temp this morning ff, changed and said it could not detect ovulation but it was sometime between 10 and 22 cd? I had a random temp spike on the 17 two days before ovulation and I think that is what is knocking it off. Just for fun I reduced this temperature and then ff was in agreement with me about ovulation on cd 19, why would it all of a sudden say it cannot detect ovulation when it was saying I ovulated on the 22? Many thanks x

How many days do you think that semen is able survive and fertilize an egg? I heard 3 days.

Kelbear
September 6th, 2016, 06:50 AM
I too have heard that it is about 3 days but can be less or longer depending on factors like vaginal environment (presence of fertile cm) and sperm quality which can be impacted by age, health etc.

I am pretty good with charting, and with FF's algorithm. Attach your chart, and I'll take a look.

Girlieplease- sometimes when you add more temps, FF will change your O date. Also, higher temps can throw it off too. If you had a one off high temp early on, sometimes discarding it helps FF to see the overall trend better.

I guess I am out this cycle. Started fertile mucus today and was expecting OV on saturday (I am on Femara), so I would get +opk on friday and BD that day. Hubby is away for work until Friday!!

I will start with the OPKs today and hoping for a very loooong fertile mucus window and +opk only on Friday. Or else I will just ov before hubby is back and this cycle is a bust. :(

Dont get your hopes up TOO high KC...but i had the waking up drenched in sweat the last two times i was pregnant...i imagine it was either conception day or implantation day for me... If you really are 7DPO and you stay really hot like that the next few days id say it may be implantation and you should test!

Currently pregnant and when i was in my 2WW i swore i had a fever for two nights...my temp was 100 degrees and i soaked the sheets beneath me with sweat. It was really bad. I definitely was not sick though.

Honestly i still feel like an oven. i have to have a sheet to sleep at this point, fan on max speed and still finding myself waking up too hot for comfort. so temps that high can be a very good sign.

I think I'm out this month....it's less than a week until AF is due to arrive, and I have all the usual symptoms ; bloating, craving comfort foods, and murderous thoughts when people annoy me ...such as by breathing too loud, or standing too close in a queue :nono:
Lol
Definitely just the usual PMS symptoms.
Think next month I will ask Atomic what I should do to just get pregnant quickly

Yes, GirlieCat, I tested 2-3 times a day for the past five days. And yes, I know e2d is bluelish, but I take the risk. I just wanted to make sure to have some good stuff inside working for me in case the fertility window opened up. I think I either geared up to O, did not O or O'ed, bc now my LH test strips are BFN.

Feel like this month's attempts we were both so ill with the cold and couldn't b bothered, cannot imagine a baby being conceived under those conditions!

Sorry to hear AF might be just around the corner for a few of you lovely ladies. I too think I am out this month, not sure what my body is doing but I am sure AF is only days away even though I am only 4 or 5 dpo. Had light brown spotting yesterday morning following some darker spotting the night before and now more light brown spotting today, similar to the spotting I usually get from 8dpo to AF. Just not sure why it has started from 2dpo. Fingers crossed for those of you that still haven't seem AF or had pms symptoms.

Sorry, af maybe on the way for some of you. I honestly have thought that some many times over the past week but it was not the case and the heat, my tummy area is sweating, I am hoping it is a sign of a bean implanting. Am 12 dpo and am starting to feel hopeful, given I have a usual lp of 8 -9 days, you guys don't know until af arrives. I have the bloating as well but it comes and goes, which is not the case with af. I wish I could add my chart so xxforhubby could look at it, it is looking promising as well. Temperature was through the roof today. Don't lose hope and I hope we all get a bfp this month, good luck! I won't test until Friday cd 14, but I would be pretty sure I am pregnant if I get that far! I'm 14dpo and despite a tiny bit of spotting and low temps, af has not shown up yet. I tried to take a frer this morning and it was faulty. The one and only time I've ever peed right on the stupid test and it was broken! :/ So, I'm not sure what the heck is going on. Do you think a frer would still work with second morning urine? I don't feel like af is here at all. What do you think? I'll post my chart.

Momamia, I think it depends. For example I have never got a positive pregnancy test before cd 14 with any of my pregnancies. With dd I got a very weak positive at cd 14, with ds2 I got stark white negative at cd 14 not using first urine and then a positive cd 15 with first urine. For me a test not using first urine at cd 14 would not work but when have you got positives before? If your like some ladies on here that get positives at cd 10 then maybe for you it would. What is the harm in trying?

Hope xxforhubby looks at your chart, looking at it I would not be hopefully, sorry for that but am not good about reading them and I think temperatures can be unreliable, I will post my chart later so you can compare, I want xxforhubby to have a look at it as well. Mine looks quite different to yours but am only cd 12. Could you maybe have ovulated later than you thought? Am keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you and me! X

Girlieplease, I didn't get a positive hpt with my last miscarriage until 13dpo. With my miscarriage last year, I got a faint bfp at only 6dpo!! I didn't keep track of days with my other pregnancies when I was younger but I know I was always late for my period before I would test. I definitely don't have my hopes up for being pregnant this cycle. I just don't understand why af hasn't started when my temps have been low for so many days.

Yeah Girlie, so happy AF still hasn't arrived for you. What a great sign! I will be living vicariously through you and waiting for Friday to see what it shows.

AFM, I am trying not to symptom spot either for AF or for BFP because I don't know my body well enough to tell the difference. This is my 6th cycle off BC after 14 years, 3rd on Metformin and 1st on clomid (but a total of 8 months because I have longer cycles) so things change every cycle and I just don't know what to think of things my body does or if it is side effect of meds. I am staying realistically optimistic and holding on to hope until I see a BFN. Hope is all we have in the 2WW.

So Momamia's question on first morning urine made me think...I get up every night lately to pee at around 3am, then go back to bed. Will my urine at 7am be good to use or should I use the 3am urine? I will do my best not to go at 3am on test day, but not likely even though I go right before bed too.

Moma- can't hurt to try with not first morning, but you could also wait till tomorrow because either way, no matter what not first morning says, you will still want to confirm with tomorrow's first morning.

I would think that as long as you're not guzzling water at 3am before going back to bed, it will be fine

I broke down and called my RE's office. He said to wait until I'm 6wks passed the first day of my last period which would be the 12th of Sept. If I haven't started a period by then, he wants me to come in for an ultrasound. I really hope I'm not in limbo for that long! That would really suck! :/

Momamia- Ugh. Being in limbo sucks! Looking at your chart, you didn't have today's temp below the coverline. Either AF will start, or your temp should rise back up tomorrow. If your temp doesn't rise tomorrow, then AF should begin. That being said, my DS2 was a slow cooker. My temp never dipped below the coverline, but it didn't get what I would call triphasic high until I was 28dpo. Hang in there! I hope you get answers soon!!

Thanks xx am really not good at analysing these, I had thought I ovulated on cd 19, though I got a solid on the digital OPK on cd18 am. Ff originally said I ovulated on day 22. What do you think attempt wise, if I ovulated on the 18, my attempt on am of 19 would be too late and if I ovulated on 21, my attempt around then would have been too late as well? Darn, maybe my excitement was a tad premature! Thanks x

September 7th, 2016, 01:51 PM
Hmmm Girlie.....around CD 16 when did you last have sex? 14-15-16? any of those days? I think you ovulated CD 16, if not then hubby is right with her first guess CD 18...Your biggest temp jump is on day 16 though...and i think the reason you still had some EWCM after CD 16 and 18 is because you had a weak ovulation and progesterone was a little low...i cant guarantee that but what i can tell you is as low as my progesterone was for this pregnancy i almost guarantee i had a weak ovulation too so it doesnt stop pregnancy entirely..but it could also be why so many of us thought you hadnt even ovulated when in fact you apparently may have! if you were still E4D and you attempted on 19 then you must have on CD 15 right? Sperm hangs around for a while so wether you ovulated on cd 16 or cd 18 i think sex from cd 15 is what got you pregnant IF you are..

up to you wether you are brave enough to test today! wether hubby has it right or my guess is right you would be far enough into it by now a test would be positive...and generally you have HCG in your blood and pee *IF* you are pregnant and have a short LP and dont get your period its because HCG is stopping it. So id say a test should be pretty accurate today, but you wouldnt be totally out until a test friday is negative. imo.

Thanks for all the replied I really appreciate the input we had sex on the pm of cd 16 and then again on am of cd 19. So timing wise maybe not great. I did not get a static on the digital OPK until cd 18, i though perhaps the temp spike after cd 16 was just an outlier, random spike that was throwing ff of. I think I will wait until Friday to test, that is 14 days after my attempt, when I think I ovulated, I have never ever got a positive before cd 14, so the long I wait the better and maybe af show up before then and I won't need to bother.

Just had a call from the infertility place, they have a few cancellations, they wanted to offer me, one for tomorrow and two for next week. I could go tomorrow but they want my husband to attend and he has clinics booked that he cannot cancel at such short notice. Why is life so complicated.she said if I could not make appointment for next week, itwoukd be October, maybe that would be better. Just know if af arrives the next few days am going to want an appointment next week but husband will not be pushed to cancel his clinics, what would you do if you were me?

Girlie if your other children are your husbands I would tell the infertility place you will take the appointment for tomorrow or next week but he can't make it. He can always go in on his own time but don't see what a sperm analysis on him will do much of if he already has a well established history of impregnating you. They should understand that. A clinic here would but I can't say 100% for you there.

Besides I got the feeling you may be cancelling an appointment too with them ;)

Momamia - that limbo sucks.
Over in the UK if you've had repeated mc, or 1 or more ectopics you can self refer to the EPU....that's at 6 weeks too.
Which I feel is so long to wait, but I guess noting would show on the ultrasound.

Af came for me today. :( I'm due to ovulate around the 17th though, so I should be back here in the September 2ww in a few weeks. Good luck to everyone. I'm going on keep checking in here, and I hope to see some bfps soon! :)

Girlieplease, I would make the appointment and then say he couldn't make it at the last minute. DH didn't go to a single fertility appointment with me as it was just to difficult to organise him to get away from work. They didnt have any issues with not seeing him and the dr didn't want to make him do an SA as he had got me pregnant 4 times at that point and had good results with previous ones.

Bummer AF showed Katt, KC, and Momamia [emoji20]! You are right KC, this is so much easier having someone to talk to about this!

AFM- I'm waiting to O. I finished my last dose of Clomid yesterday, so I'm going to wait to use opks until tomorrow. I know it may be too early, and I'll keep testing anyway. I just don't want to miss my surge! My birthday is Saturday, so we will keep up either E3D or E4D plus another attempt at pos. Opk. It just depends on how things shake out.

FX we see some more BFPs soon!!

I hate the 2WW!!! It is exhausting wondering if the twinges are AF coming or baby making itself at home in there. I want nothing more than to just ignore them all but it is impossible not to notice something you feel. The first week was great, but midwalk through week two (10dpo) and I am losing my patience and positive attitude. I also fear going to the bathroom now, afraid to find AF has crushed my dreams once again. Still waiting till 13-14dpo to test though...
Okay, end rant. Sigh...

Dropping by to vent: for the last two cycles I've ovulated on CD 14 (28 day cycles). Now I'm using OPKs for the first time, and it's frustrating. Right now I'm on CD 14, I had a bit of EWCM yesterday, but no positive OPK yet. I really want to do just one attempt, and I also really don't want to miss attempting this month because I hate the LE diet to the depths of my soul.

Hoping ovulation is on it's way before I lose my mind more than I already have lately...:p

I agree with you ladies, the 2ww is sooooooo frustrating. I am dpo 13, planning to test tomorrow. I don't know why but I feel more disheartened today, maybe it's the possibility of getting a stark white negative tomorrow? I said if I got passed dpo 12, testing would not bother me and am past that. I think it is slightly unclear when I ovulated so goodness know what day I am. I have lots of symptoms but I have had these before and af has arrived. I booked the appt at the infertility place for next week, so at least if af arrives I am doing something. Temps are still high so still a chance.

What are you guys doing in the 2 ww re exercise, I have really reduced I think I have exercised twice since Friday. Diet has slipped massively, I took a prenatal today and had three meals instead of two.

Sorry to those that af arrived, it is just a disheartening experience, plenty of wine and chocolate helped me.

Keep everything crossed for me for tomorrow, 9 hours to testing and counting x

Girlie at this point I'd ignore FF. You are either pregnant this cycle or you are not. Seriously doubt you ovulated 3 days ago. You are torturing yourself and confusing FF because of your very high temps which are both indicitave of pregnancy and ovulation lol... So as you keep charting (after lots of women would have already tested by now as well... You have an iron will) it's just confusing it further. Tomorrow is test day and I am banking you are going to have good news. Just
Make sure you start with the most sensitive test in your area. i just can't believe with the last few months for you and how short your lp got that you are anything BUT pregnant.

Thanks bukoram, if I thought there was even a chance of a squinter before cd14, I would have pee already but past history tells me there is no point. I meant to reply to your comment, yes dh is father of all my wee ones. I am having bad cramps tonight and feel a bit awful hoping it is a good sign not af. My diet has not been the best either. I'm waiting on AF myself. Out this cycle since no attempt was made. We just moved into a rental for 20 days and it's unfortunately been very stressful and I haven't been logging foods. I've stuck to skipping breakfast, no snacking, 3 meals (evening candys/chips).
Af should arrive in no more than a week and a half so I'll be having my first attempt late September or early October!
Good luck everyone soon to be testing. So exciting!

I understand your anxiety and impatiency, GirlieCat. I actually like the 2ww because I don't need to take OPKs and don't need to BD. I relax more. I continue with diet and cardio, but I don't drink my daily glass of wine, which I miss. Being busy with work and daily life is good and makes me forget about baby-making. Looking forward to your update. Cheers. And FX to all of us.

I am 11 dpo from my best guess. I don't temp so I am going off my OPKs and body symptoms and cycle tracking. I think I probably O on cd19 and I am cd30 now. I usually have a 13-14 day LP. This length of cycle is about average for me right now, which is great since I was over 40 days a few months back when I started Metformin.

Girlie i got a positive on the clearblue weeks estimator digital test when my hcg couldnt have been more than 10-15. If you are looking only for solid confirmation of "oh you are 100% pregnant lady" id get that one. If you are more wanting to see how 'dark' your line is then i recommend first response early result. Also had a positive with that one but i thought my mind was playing tricks on me (and for good reason since even the box says it shouldnt register a positive until 20-25...)

So if your HCG level is below 10 mIU/mL, it will show Not Pregnant.
If your HCG level is between 10 and 155 mIU/mL, it will show Pregnant 1-2
if your HCG level is between 156 and 2600 mIU/mL, it will show Pregnant 2-3
if your HCG level is over 2600mIU/mL, it will show Pregnant 3+"

Right which clear blue one should I avoid? Do I need to get the one that says pregnant 1-2 weeks? Certainly don't want a negative, that would take the cream right of my bun! X

I would get a FRER, first response early result, and a Clear Blue with week's estimator for follow up.

I'm so excited there are more BFPs! Now we need more, haha!

Who is due to test? Mrs. Sparkles and Girliecat. Am I missing anyone else?

How many DPO are you? I first tested at 8dpo which was bfn. I then waited till one day past AF which was 13dpo and bfp. :)

Well am not sure I think I ovulated on cd 18 or 19, so that is either 14 or 15 dpo! X

Girlie- Yes! get the one that will show you 1-2 weeks. any other clearblue digitals avoid because i think a majority of digitals in general require higher amounts of HCG to get a positive and since we are unsure how far along you are exactly id start with what i can confirm is a very sensitive digital...

Hubby has the best idea, if you can afford both get both the clearblue one im suggesting and a First response.

I bought the £6.50 Clear Blue one only because i was 99.9% sure i had my bfp with the Tesco pregnancy test - The line was there although not super strong. And also my AF didn't show up and im pretty regular. Good luck with testing tmw xx :)

I was going to test on Monday, but I can feel cramps today :(
So I have a feeling AF will be here tomorrow - today I nearly cried....which I tend to do with PMS...llike literally I cry at adverts and stupid stuff that is not even sad

I am only 7 dpo so still a week til AF officially due for me. I usually start spotting from 7 or 8 dpo so if that starts I am sure I will be out for this month. I am not holding much hope though as had weird spotting 2-4 dpo. If I get to 10 dpo with no spotting I might test. Fingers crossed for those waiting to test and congrats to those with bfps.

Oh Sparkles, sorry you are feeling so down. I have had some symptoms but I know the symptoms are similar to AF so I try not to speculate too much. I mean cramping can still be early pregnancy symptom right? I am not counting you out. Girlieplease thought her AF was just around the corner recently too and she got her BFP a week later. (I love those kind of happy ending).

Girlie,

I wasn't even sad because of anything lol.
I just get so emotional before AF, either that or paranoid/anxious - only last a day but is so intense.

UK Ladies - when I bought my spare Clearble Ovulation kits, the seller also had FR tests for £3.99 and FREE Shipping.
Hoping they are legit tests, as they didn't come in a box, but the ovulation sticks were fine and showed ovulation on the day I expected.
Am I allowed to put a link in ?
I was buying 10 OPK pack in boots but it was £23.99 a go (stupid that they don't sell without the holder)
But on ebay I got them for £14.99

Dream- my understanding is EWCM in the 2WW could be a sign your progesterone is low either from a weak ovulation or no ovulation... Any chance you ovulated later than you did? Did you take an ovulation test when you got the EWCM just to make sure it wasn't a late ovulation?

Interesting info for thought...doing research I came across an analysis that fertility friend website did of 93,000 recent charts from ladies who use their website/app. It found that for ladies that turned out to be pregnant, the average first positive pregnancy test wasn't until 13.6 DPO. 17% of pregnant woman got a false negative before their true positive because they started testing too early. The average time between the expected period and the first positive test was only a half a day before AF should have arrived.

I think this convinced me that I am going to just wait for AF to come or to be late. I tested a few days earlier than AF last month and the negatives are too hard to handle especially when you tell yourself that maybe it is just too early and it still might be positive. I will let AF be my test this month.

GirlieCat, sometimes I find that easier. It seems like every so often, I just have to poas. So, I typically do it really early... like 6dpo, so I know it is most likely to be bfn and then it gives me the strength to wait longer.

I think I just got a positive OPK. :omg:

I'm actually not sure at all that it's a positive OPK, because it's my first time using OPKs. It's a test from Dollarama in Canada, and the test line is almost as dark as the control line. Is this good enough?

I'm going to test again in a couple of hours to see if the line got darker, and if it did, maybe we'll go ahead and have our attempt tonight.

Honestly, at this point, I barely care what kind of baby we have! I just want to get pregnant so I can start eating good, nourishing food again.

Wishing everyone lots of luck.

You can keep doing what you were previously doing if you feel up to it. I found I didn't have the energy to keep up my cycling to work this time. I managed with my previous 2 (m/c) pregnancies although work moved slightly so it is a little further now. I am 13dpo today (Sunday). My lp is usually 13-14 days but was 15 once. So I expect AF Monday, Tuesday or even Wednesday. I have no desire to test at this point- a negative would be too hard. I am not going to handle AF or a BFN as well this month. I expected TTC to take some time because my body is stupid (PCOS) but not this long and I am tired now.

I have been snapping at husband like crazy today which is usually AF announcing her arrival so I am not very hopeful.

I'm day 13 or 14 dpo (used clear blue)
And yesterday I found blood when I wiped, so assumed AF was here.
Put In a pad before bed, because I am so heavy the first few days/nights.
Woke up to one brown spot -smaller than a pea size, and a tiny bit on wiping.
But the Amazon cheapie test is a BFN - it's a super sensitive test though.
I am away from home and don't have access to FR test until tomorrow.
Could this be implantation, or am i getting hopes up

Need advice.

I am feeling very hopeful for you Sparkles! Can't wait to see what tomorrow's test shows. FX!!

FX for everybody! GirlieCat, I've always been really short with my DH right around 13-15 DPO when I've been pregnant so it might not be AF!

That sounds promising MrsSparkles, really hope you get a bfp. Still keeping fingers crossed for you GirlieCat and also inforthree, would be fantastic if you all get a bfp this month. I am at 10 dpo today but have been having cramping since yesterday so AF likely in the next few days. My LP can be anywhere from 11-15 days recently so just have to wait. I am not going to test early either GirlieCat as I don't want to see a bfn.

I'm impressed by everyone who can wait! I guess it might be because I've never had trouble getting pregnant (just staying pregnant), but I've never been too upset by BFNs, but the waiting is hard on me! Pretty boy mom-ish of me though, thinking about it. ;)

In previous months trying before we took a month off so I could do LE diet I had tested at around 9 or 10 dpo and just got depressed at seeing the bfps so I am trying to just be patient this month. I will probably test Friday if AF hasn't shown by then or if I haven't had any spotting as I usually spot from 7-10 dpo through to AF so no spotting yet is a good thing for me. I just wish the 2ww would go quicker. As much as I know I can't change anything and that symptom stopping is pointless I can help but try to analyse every pain and niggle. Wish I knew a way to turn my brain off for a while!

Oh my gosh Kelbear that is exactly how I feel!! I tested early in past cycles too so I thought I would go about it different this time. I am noticing every little thing too but trying not to read into them. Clomid mimics a lot of early preg symptoms when you are not prego so I trying to blame it on the clomid. I can't wait for the week to be over so I just know either way.
Fx to everyone. Sounds like we have a lot of people due for AF (or their BFP) this week.

Lovely ladies I need some advice/feedback. i am trying not to symptom spot or get my hopes up as I am sure af will show her ugly head in a few days (am 10dpo) but for the last few days I have been getting a stitch type pain in my side on and off throughout the day and what feels like round ligament pain (I had this in my first pregnancy but later on). I know it is too early for round ligament pain so I was wondering what could cause this? Is it related to dropping progesterone levels or something else hormone related? I just want to find a reason for these pains so that if they continue each cycle I know whether or not they are something to worry about. If anyone else has experienced this in the 2ww I would love to know.

Dreamsister
September 13th, 2016, 02:06 AM
Dream- my understanding is EWCM in the 2WW could be a sign your progesterone is low either from a weak ovulation or no ovulation... Any chance you ovulated later than you did? Did you take an ovulation test when you got the EWCM just to make sure it wasn't a late ovulation?

No I did not take any OPKs in the 2WW. My EWCM has not been fertile egg-white, more like the sticky, dry stuff you get after O. But I am confused, bc I got a lot EWCM this cycle. I hope I did not miss my surge.

So sorry mrssparkels. You are not alone. Make yourself comfortable with a glass of wine and some chocolate. You will have a chance next cycle. I will probably soon follow you on the AF-tour.
Just purchased more Wondfo test strips, Olive leaf extract for hubby and Folate for me for the months to come.

I don't have much faith that I am able to conceive. But it gives me hope to know I can continue swaying and will have more chances. Sometimes I just want to give up, but then I think fuck no I will continue until my body says stop.

Well I am still in the race!! Today is 15dpo and as of 1:30 this afternoon all is clear downstairs. Normally I would have started AF this morning, but one cycle this year I was a day later and didn't start till morning 16dpo. If no spotting or AF by tomorrow morning (Wednesday) then I would say I am officially late and I am going to test (I know- finally right?). I get excited every time I go to the bathroom and hope is still alive. I keep trying to talk myself down from getting too hopeful and say that maybe I misjudged ovulation day so my count is off or that clomid is messing with my cycle.

It is going to be a long 17 hours till test time, but at 16dpo at least I will be able to trust whatever the test says tomorrow. AF STAY AWAY FROM ME!!! :nails:

I'm having one of the worst weeks of my entire adult life. I recently found out that my DH hasn't been running his business well financially, and now it appears that we owe a ton of money. Wow Serenity. That is terrible. I can't even image how stressful things must be in your house right now. Good thing you already had your attempt because I probably would not want to touch my husband for a long time after discovering something like that. It is hard to just turn off your dream or plan of another baby in a moments notice so since you have already had your attempt this month just wait it out and see what the next 2 weeks bring for both your finances and if you might already be pregnant. I really am sorry you are having to go through this.

GirlieCat, you're not out until AF. You could have ovulated a little later, or had slow implantation.

KelBear, I've had round ligament pain twice at 4-5 weeks. My doctor said it's common early on in subsequent pregnancies, although during the TWW would probably be too soon

GirlieCat
September 14th, 2016, 11:24 AM
At this point I actually hope AF comes because if she doesn't I will just get more confused. I have no hope that it will change to a positive.

I have had non stop cramping, all day, everyday for 7 days. Sometimes on the left, sometimes on right, sometimes all over. I think it is either cysts or just side effect of clomid, but of course until my BFN I was hoping it was implantation or pregnancy related. It has actually only started to get less intense yesterday and today. Going to ask for an ultrasound to see if it is cysts.

So sorry for the Bfn girliecat, it must be some frustrating but as the other ladies said your not out until af arrives. Does clomid mess with your cycles and could that be the explanation? I only got a weak test at cd 14, so if you implanted late, you may be earlier in your cycle than you think. It's your first, you see I knew from previous pregnancies when to test, keeping everything crossed for you x

Kelbear, so sorry you got a BFN too. I spent the day depressed and on the brink of tears multiple times. Your symptoms sounds
exactly like how I felt this cycle. I normally get a few cramps here and there from O-AF, but this cycle was just crazy with cramping. Literally non stop for a week. Some mild, some more intense but very uncomfortable either way. I called my doc today since I now know pains are not pregnancy related. I made an appointment for an ultrasound and maybe other tests. Eager to see what it shows. I just need to know if my tubes are okay (not blocked) and how my ovaries look in terms of cysts.

Hopefully an ultrasound can either help you get some answers GirlieCat or at least put your mind at ease if the ultrasound comes back clear. The last few days I was almost sure I was pregnant - stitch in my side, gassy stomach, face flushed, vivid dream (I never dream - hubby had to wake me as I was yelling in my sleep! Hate it how I get so fooled into thinking I am pregnant when I know better not to symptom spot. Just so disappointing when your hopes are dashed. September 15th, 2016, 05:22 AM
I am not sure MrsSparkles, I wish I knew what was going on. I never had a problem getting pregnant with my DS, only took 2 months ttc, period was very regular after coming off bcps, never had much pain at all even with af. Since af has returned after having DS the pain from o til af has been very noticeable. I think I need to get it checked out. At least I have not had early spotting this month (previously spotting from 7-10 dpi til af) so maybe my LP is sorting itself out now DS is breastfeeding less and has dropped his overnight feed. I know I should just be patient and a bfn this month means more time on the Le diet so will be 10 weeks on it by next attempt but was so hoping to have a close age gap between DS and his sibling. I am ok getting a bfn when I don't feel pregnant but hate it when my body tricks me into thinking I am then says 'ha ha tricked you'. I think I really need to get a referral to an obgyn to look into things.

I just did some googling and apparently ovarian cysts can cause false positives on pregnancy tests but didn't find anything on false negatives. I am resigned to the fact that af will be here in the next few days, just want to know why I have so much cramping after ovulation all the way to af.

Sorry Girlie and Kelbear! AF also arrived for me today. Went to the fertility doc to have blood test done to get my hormonal profile. My fertility doc want to give me Gonal-f-injections (100 iu 5 days) and trigger-injection. I tried Clomid one time which resulted in a very weak lining and a missed abortion in July. My doc say Clomid is not good for me because it makes my lining thin. I am confused what to do. Should I continue ttc natural or go to more drastic method? I am so afraid of a multiple pregnancy. On the other hand I am running short of time. I am 41.
