FX for you Maggie that this next cycle brings you a BFP!
I'll be testing probably sometime between 9/1-9/3. I don't feel very hopeful, and I'm not sure if we're going to continue to TTC or not. I'll be popping in though to check on how everyone gets on!!

august was hopeless for me too. CD13 today & still waiting on a +opk. We are bd e3d this month after frequent release & one attempt was not helpful last month. Ive been on the LE diet for 30 weeks now & I am hoping to get my BFP soon so I can get back to normal!

It's our first attempt this month, feeling so nervous as I've been rubbish on the diet lately! Between being ill and incredibly busy I've either been over or very much under on limits :( Starting OPKS starting next week and doing one attempt at a +. Will be the first time we have BD in months - hoping that it works in my favour! Good luck to everyone!!

Good luck everyone! I'm on CD 5 and should be attempting around 9/5. This is cycle 5 for me with one CP. I'm really hoping this is a big bfp month! There was some talk about SMEP on the Aug thread. I think I might add an attempt day after +opk this time, I'm ready to be done TTC. Positive vibes to all!

Hi everyone. Joining you for Sept 2WW. I am cd15 now, still no +OPK. We are doing e4d. This is my first cycle on clomid and third cycle on metformin. This has always been the month I most wanted to get pregnant because of birth date timing so I am hoping beyond hope for a sticky pink bean this cycle. Good luck to everyone. I hope we get lots and lots of BFPs.

Am currently mid attempt. Cd 18, i usually o at cd 14 or 15 but got static smilie this morning. We are doing e3d's, due to attempt tomorrow, was wondering when would be the optimum time to bd, early hours of Friday like 12/ 1am, tomorrow morning, afternoon, or evening? We are trying to conceive baby number four and am swaying pink, having been trying since June this year. I normally fall pregnant easily, so it is so surprising for me that am on the Sept thread, glad of your company and baby dust, really hope it is mine and all of yours turn to get bfp! X

Thanks ladies, first thing tomorrow morning works for me, dh is not great in the morning so may not suit him! We shall see how tonight goes with the wee ones. My husband was complaining today that our three were too close together, so I could run into problems suggesting attempting at all. Why do they get troublesome when it's your window? Maybe some indication that they really don't want another x

August 25th, 2016, 05:00 PM
I don't tell my DH when I am in the fertility window or that I got a +OPK. I told him one month and I think it freaked him out to DTD knowing the pressure so I just play it cool now and don't say a word. I also don't let him know that we have to DTD every 4 days. I am sure he knows something is up when I initiate it odd times, but he just goes along with it. I think he is still nervous for this new chapter of our life (this is baby #1 for us) so I am making the TTC part as casual as I can. He is very supportive with the swaying though and helping with the diet because he does want a girl first too so I am lucky to have him on board with that.

Hi, though I would join you if that's ok. This will be our first month TTC since starting on the LE diet 6 weeks ago. I don't know that we will have much luck this first month but I am still hopeful as DH (40) and I (36) are getting a bit older so don't have too much time to spare and would like a close age gap between our kids if possible. I am only on CD 5 so still a while to go before attempt. Good luck to everyone, hope this is a great month for all
I do the same as you GirlieCat, I don't tell my DH when I am in my fertile window either as I think he would not want the pressure. He probably suspects something as we don't DTD that frequently with a 9 month old that doesn't sleep all that well but he seems to be obliging occasionally when I need him to be

Hi everyone!
I'm joining in here, too, swaying pink for child number three. I can't believe it's finally almost time to start attempting! Very exciting!
I'm currently waiting for AF, then will be starting frequent release a few days later, leading up to one unprotected attempt at positive OPK.
I've been on the LE diet for about 7 or 8 weeks now, doing an hour of cardio daily for about a month or so. I've been using fibre at meals and drinking 1.5 ounces of rum every night. DH has not cooperated with anything I've asked him to do (the bottle of OLE I bought sits untouched in the cupboard) and has been exercising like crazy and inhaling red meat like it's going out of style, so I've pretty much resigned myself to the fact of another lovely boy. I can't complain, though, as it's incredible that he's agreeing to TTC again at all. It's really bothering me that I can't find a good middle name for the potential new little guy, though...I trust that I will be able to when the time comes.

Thought I would update here instead of the Aug board...
My midwife called earlier with the results of my second HCG blood draw and it went down from a 90 on Monday to a 72 on Thursday morning :-(
I had a feeling this was going to happen but I was still absolutely devastated when she told me.
I had a tiny amount of blood last night after using the bathroom but it stopped before I went to bed. Took more pregnancy tests this morning prior to the blood test and it was still positive, but a little lighter than yesterday. Aside from that though, no cramping or any other miscarriage signs so now I play the waiting game. She said it could take up to a week for the bleeding to begin. I have the option of taking some meds to help push it along, but she recommended to let it happen naturally if at all possible. A part of me agrees with that but another part of me just wants this over and done with!!
Now having had back to back miscarriages, I am kind of at a loss at what to do. This was our third month TTC and third month on Clomid (for swaying purposes only). Since I initially thought this was going to be a sticky PG I stopped exercising, started eating breakfast, added meat back in, nuts, etc basically everything the opposite of what I'd been doing since January. The thought of going back to LE and the daily exercise seems unbearable right now.
My midwife said back to back miscarriages are't common, esp since we conceived DS first month TTC and so she recommended I see an OBGYN or reproductive endocrinologist to get things checked out. I was somehow able to get an appt with a RE in 5 days so will be interesting to see what she says. I think I will probably have to come clean about taking Clomid medically unsupervised for 3 cycles which I am sure I will be read the riot act for :nails:
My DH just thinks these back to back miscarriage are purely coincidental and that we should just try again without intervention. The thought of trying again without having things looked at scares me. A part of me believes that these two miscarriages are somehow the result of me taking Clomid and it maybe impacting my lining but I just don't know. Maybe we got lucky when we conceived DS during first cycle? The other part of me thinks we should try again without the Clomid but if there truly is something going on, such as a blood clotting disorder or a lining issue I'd really prefer not to risk another potentially preventable miscarriage. And of course I feel like I've screwed up my chances of a girl in Sept since I've been eating and living a boy-friendly lifestyle the last two weeks. I really felt like I had my girl this month and I am so sad that my body couldn't sustain her :-(
Anyway, sorry for the long story but thanks for letting me vent. TTC #2 has felt like such a nightmare and absolutely nothing like I expected it to be.

Jenc I am so sorry. That is terrible news. I would be inclined to blame the clomid too because I have heard bad things about what it could do to your lining. I have that fear too because this is my first cycle on clomid. What about getting back on the diet and still going to the RE so if you do get answers you will be back on the diet strong when you are ready for your next attempt? I am so sorry this has been so tough for you.
Kelbear
August 25th, 2016, 11:49 PM
Jenc I am so sorry to hear about your losses. I hope you can get some answers from your RE as to the possible cause. I am new to swaying and somebody may tell me I am completely wrong but if it takes at least 6 weeks on the LE diet to convince your body times are hard then maybe it is the same in reverse and takes as long for your body to think times are good again so you may not have ruined your sway in the few weeks you have been off the diet and not exercised. Hopefully you can get back on the diet as soon as you feel able to. So sorry you have to go through such a difficult time.

Sounds like a nice DH you have GirlieCat. I also do the hole swaying in silencio and don't tell hubby when the fertile window has It's opening-hour bc of the risk of him to step on the brake. I am so sorry for your loss Jenc. This was exactly what also happened to me last month. I was also on Clomid (first time) and had developed a weak lining probably bc of the meds and weightloss. I went on for weeks thinking I was pg and eating normal and miscarried naturally after 5 weeks. I think you should definately go and get checked. Don't worry about that two weeks off diet has ruined your chances. You will be good. Big hug too you. Take care.

So sorry to read this, I hope it happens quickly for you. As some of the other ladies have said don't worry about dropping the diet and exercise, I think it is the over all pattern over weeks. I myself conceived a girl first time round. I knew nothing about swaying but as it turns out I was living a very pink lifestyle, dieting and exercising to lose weight for my wedding. I did that for nearly a year. Abandoned it as soon as I got married and conceived my daughter 5 weeks later, 5 weeks eating and drinking what I wanted and how much I wanted. Give yourself time and be gentle, swaying and ttc is so tough and this is me trying for number 4, no problems or stress with the first three x

I'm sorry for your loss jenc :( I don't know that the clomid is the blame as without having scans you can't really know what your lining is doing. I think 2 miscarriages in a row is actually fairly common but 3 in a row is a lot less common. It won't make you feel better but maybe it will help knowing it possibly wasn't anything you did, it may have just been an unfortunate coincidence. If you are seeing an RE then she will be able to run some more tests and maybe give you fermara instead of clomid.

OMG, so sorry for your loss Jenc!! I hope your RE will switch you to Femara intead of Clomid.
I had a thin lining before starting TTC so I did 3 cycles on progesterone pills (Duphaston) to increase lining and then my doctor started me on Femara + Duphaston to avoid that problem entirely. I hope you can find out what is going on and get your sticky bean very soon!

FF finally gave me cross hairs. It says I'm 3dpo. I know that I at least geared up to O on the 19th because I was super bloated and crampy. Apparently something delayed it and I O'd on the 24th. So, our attempt this month was 3 days before O, so the odds of conception are extremely low. That's a good thing because I really want to do the injectables in October. FX for those that are getting ready to attempt or who are waiting to test!
I'm currently 4dpo and got the cold that I've been trying to avoid for the past three days. If I don't get a BFP, I'll be using Clomid for the next 3 cycles before calling it quits! I know I said I was going to be done, but that was before I ran into my RE at the grocery store. He tested my prolactin and it is 3 times higher than it should be for still breastfeeding a 9mo old! He said my supply would be fine and it should do the trick! I need all the help I can get to insure I can give my DH a DD! I think that is the only way he might actually end up excited to have a 4th child! He said I could either take it on days 2-6 or 3-7.
Eek!!

Eek!!

Ok ladies. You all know that I've been back and forth on continuing to TTC. Well wouldn't you know that now that I'm looking forward to trying for the next 3 months with Clomid, there is literally a baby explosion going on in real life! Seriously, my BFF just had her 4th baby (boy), and I found out there are 3 teachers at my DH's school (he's the principal there) that are pregnant! Ugh! I just feel that since there are so many people that are pregnant that I won't be able to. I know it seems silly! I just hope there is enough sticky baby dust left to go around.

Exactly, foxtrotmama! The worst part is that it's been a long journey for all of us so I know it's going to be really difficult to tell them if/when I finally do get pregnant. They're going to be jealous. Not that I can blame them. I know if they get pregnant before me, I'll be jealous too. I really wish I didn't know they were ttc. It would be way easier for me.

I need help. I am so confused. I posted the picture of my OPK yesterday (Saturday) and everyone agreed it wasn't positive yet, but I tested twice today (Sunday) and they are even lighter than yesterday. I always get mid cycle cramps the day I get a +OPK and then a day or two after(days I most likely O). I have had those cramps mild yesterday and intense today but still no +OPK.
I think I might have missed my serge which is very frustrating because I have been testing daily since Cd9. Today is cd18. If tests are getting lighter I would say my serge might have been earlier yesterday (Saturday) or even Friday. Which means cramps today Sunday could be actual O.
We DTD Thursday night cd15. We were doing e4d so I am due to DTD tomorrow Monday night but I think that might be too late. I feel like the Thursday BD would have been too early but not sure. Should we BD tonight instead of tomorrow? I am so confused at what my body is doing. This is my first cycle on clomid so that might be messing things up. Thanks for listening.

I don't know what's worse, being left behind while other people you were TTC with you know in real life have babies, or getting pregnant first and knowing someone who still isn't. :(
GirlieCat, when I was TTC my first my surge was super short. I tested at least twice a day to manage to catch it. O day the cycle I conceived 2 PM was positive but by 6 or so it was lighter again. Of course, that level of obsessiveness (taking OPKs three times a day, including at work) is pretty typically boy-mom territory.
If it was yesterday, you're probably looking at ovulating today. I wouldn't totally discount your thursday BD, but chances of conception from it are pretty low.
momamia4
August 28th, 2016, 10:49 PM
GirlieCat, if this is your first cycle ttc, I'd stick with the e4d. If you want to, you could switch to e3d next cycle. I'd say your attempt is pretty good. I have short surges too. I typically assume my own opks are positive when they are the same as you posted yesterday. I switched to using the Clearblue Advanced opks because they are better at catching my surge. I do have to test twice a day with it though. The clomid could definitely be effecting your ovulation. I had a false positive on my opks the second month I took clomid. So, just be aware that is a possibility. I'd keep up the e4d for the rest of your cycle, just in case. FX for you!! :)
Foxtrotmama, I'm not sure which is worse either. I'm not looking forward to it. :/

Okay so it's Day 17...and I have my positive OPK
It's made me happy because I have realised that since my ectopic I've had Positve OPK every time on Day 17.
So it feels like everything is back in working order so to speak - making myself sound like a car lol.
Anyway, the last 2 cycles be DTD day of Positive OPK, and ended up with BFN
This month we have DTD days 14,15,16, and Day 17.
Fingers crossed this does the trick, I am so desperate for a baby that one attempt is just not in my plan - I've lost weight, been sick, and chilled out more, so hopefully these things will help.

I'll start Clomid next month. I was told I don't need to wean, since I plan on taking it at night and my DS3 only nurses once overnight. I'm taking it because my prolactin levels are 3X higher than they should be, even with breastfeeding. If you look at my charts, you see I gear up to ovulate before I actually do. My RE said this happens when prolactin levels are too high. Good news is Clomid lowers them but not completely like Bromocriptine, so my milk won't dry up and I can continue to breastfeed.

Goodluck! I know someone who took it breastfeeding so I'm sure it is ok... although she conceived twins but does have pcos so her chances of twins from clomid is higher I think. The twins are boys but I think she conceived 1st cycle and no swaying. Her first is a girl and I think it was the 5th clomid cycle so I would say the clomid sway factor would have overruled her boy friendly lifestyle.
Goodluck everyone!

I think for us "boy moms" it's less about positivity and more about control. Letting go and letting what will be be is hard. Not that "girl moms" can't be control freaks too. ;(
We had a play date this morning and literally all of the people I hang out with have a daughter who is younger than my DS2. On one hand I can't wait to have another baby and on the other I am worried that if it happens right away it means I haven't swayed hard enough.

I agree with foxtrot- it has been said it is more about control than attitude but as always nothing is 100% in a sway, but I am still trying to be both positive and less of a control freak (although really anyone who is swaying is technically trying to take control of the situation).

Am really trying not to symptom spot as it has added further to my disappointment when af has arrived. I have been absolutely convinced some months that I was pregnant due to symptoms, hunger, nausea. Twinges, sore boobs and exhaustion. Unfortunately, for me the signs of af are the same! This month I just have the usual tender boobs, increased appetite and tiredness but no more than other months and have a wee pot belly, always a sign it af. I agree with the others that it is hard to not symptom spot, but the symptoms of early pregnancy are the same symptoms of AF. It does mean that you have good hormone production so a BFP should happen soon!

Fingers crossed it is implantation bleeding xxforhubby, though maybe you would prefer to wait for clomid?
I noticed am funny about smells today, which I have had before in pregnancy but unfortunately in the last few months before af. Dreamsister I wonder if we are just now so aware of our cycles that we know approx when we o, and we then also notice symptoms, or we paid more attention to them!
My temps are up and staying high but ff still not giving me crosshairs? Anyone else had that? I had a temp rise one day a few days before this current pattern were it has continued to rise over the course of a few days, could that be throwing it off?

Hey girls! It's been a rough week. My HCG levels were being checked every 2 days last week and they were barely going down. My midwives and OB started to get concerned that I had an ectopic pregnancy so I had an emergency ultrasound on Monday. They weren't able to identify where the pregnancy was at but thankfully I started my miscarriage later that evening. My HCG levels went way down to 22 on Monday so that was a relief.
I had an appt scheduled with an RE on Tuesday but unfortunately I had to cancel it as I learned that my insurance has zero coverage for infertility. So annoying.
The OB I saw told me to wait a full cycle to TTC again, which is different advice than what all of the other OBs and midwives have told me (could try right away). I think we are going to try this month anyways.
The only item I am debating upon is whether or not to use Clomid again (would be my 4th cycle; swaying purposes only). Initially I was planning on changing it up from CD 3-7 to CD 5-9 to help improve my egg quality. However, after doing a lot of reading it appears most docs do not recommend Clomid immediately following a miscarriage and make their patients went until their first period after the miscarriage to begin again. Does anyone have any advice/experience with this? I took Clomid this last cycle after having had a chemical. I know miscarriages help sway pink but I am concerned that the Clomid plus miscarriage might be too much for my body?

Jen because the doctor wouldnt start my clomid until they induced a fresh period with progesterone (i had just had a period 2 weeks ago) i would say that you should skip a month of clomid and wait a cycle before starting it back up. wether you TTC without the clomid this first cycle is totally up to you though. it seems typical of doctors to not want you to start clomid until you have a period without it.

I feel af is on the way :-(, I feel crampy, like I usually do. aaaaahhhh why do I get my hopes up? I go from am I aren't I pregnant, to please let my lp be 9 days or longer, to lp of 7 days oh no, to maybe it implantation bleeding, maybe it's a lots of implantation bleeding, when this continues on maybe it implanted late! Such a long drawn our process. To finally accepting it is just I did not get pregnant Again! Darn, on a positive note least I do waste a fortune on pregnancy tests, good luck, everyone who is testing and for those,in 2 ww x

9DPO and I've had two BFNs, but tested too early before, definitely. I ordered more HPTs that will be here tomorrow and that should be slightly more accurate, I think...
I haven't had many symptoms except for hungry more than usual, I think, mild cramping off and on and I usually don't have cramps at this point in my cycle. Also crazy vivid dreams that usually only happen when I'm preggo. But, I don't think I'm preggo! Haha!

Hi Jenc- sorry his week has been so rough for you. I would skip this next cycle on clomid. Atomic has said that clomid stays in your system long enough that it could does still influence and sway the month after you take it. I have read several ladies who got pregnant the first cycle off clomid. I would judge your body and emotions on if you are ready to try right away, but for me I don't think I would be patient enough to take a cycle off even if they doctor told me too.

If it is correct then my timing socks this month as we bd on Monday evening but that would have been too late, will try and photo my chart and see if people can make sense of it, how do you add your chart here? Not great news from my blood draw, progesterone results indicate no ovulation, am gutted, together with my borderline result last month, something is definitely up. I did wonder as am not too knowledgeable about these things, I think I had a delayed ovulation, my body geared up to O and then bailed on cd 14, I got a positive on the clear blue digital ovulation last thursday and I think I ovulated on Friday cd 19. But I also had my blood draw that day, if the blood draw happened before ovulation could that explain the result? Also ff only gave me crosshairs from Monday cd 22, going to start a new thread and ask atomic but keen to know what you ladies think x

Just trying to see what my body has been doing (its been crazy) Im formula feeding only but wanted opinions if this is a positive opk or does the test line need to be darker. I have ewcm so it would correlate that it is finally happening. Ive felt on the verge of ovulating the past few weeks.

If the blood was taken before ovulation or on ovulation then your progesterone wouldn't have risen enough at that point. If you are 3 dpo you should get it taken around 7dpo.

Thank buk, what makes you think that? Just curious, am so novice in relation to this, is it the low progesterone? Is it possible I ovulated late and progesterone did not have time to Inc? Gp not going to do anything further :'(, he has referred me to the infertility clinic and I hope they will prescribe clomid but it will take a few months for the referral to come through, unfortunately! He wasn't sure if we were going to have our first attempt this month! Wth!? We had this conversation last week! Ugh
So now I am unsure of our attempt this month since I feel like FR for like 3 days before out attempt is weak! I was hoping for 7 to 10 days of it.

jenc, skip a cycle with the clomid. It keeps working for the cycle after you stop but it gives your lining a break. Plus, it'll give your body a chance to recover if it needs to if you don't get preggo right away. That's what I would do anyway.
Congratulations, Lissastick!! FX for a sticky bean! :)
Robin, that's definitely positive. Just bd anyway. One attempt in your fertile window is plenty of a strong sway. :)
AFM, my spotting stopped! I spotted for 3 days and then it just stopped. I thought it was increasing after the first day but it didn't. It just kept getting lighter until today when there's nothing. It was only a few times each day and only when I would wipe. I'm not sure what to make of it?? I've also had exactly the same temp each day for the last 3 days. I checked my thermometer and it's definitely working properly. I have no idea what's going on. My body is so weird!! My temps are so low too. I bet that's probably because my doctor lowered my thyroid meds this month. So, I am 8dpo today. I guess we'll see what the next few days bring!

FX Lissa hope you get a nice dark line.
XX hope your clomid arrives by cd3, but if not you could do cd5 start as a back up if you don't get it in time. Excited for you.
Girlie- my doc said I needed to be 7dpo to get accurate test on hormones and progesterone. If your blood draw was too early then that may be why your numbe was too low. Might be a good thing it was tested on wrong day though since it got you your referral and you have a chance at clomid.
Momamia- that sucks when your body does wonky things and when you have meds that throw things off. My AF is very very light- mostly spotting and only 2 days tops. I only get a few hours of real blood (TMI). I always worry if this is a sign I have bad lining.

I didn't have any real blood at all. It was only this weird spotting when I wiped. That's interesting about your AF. I usually have a few days of spotting, a few days of light, a few days of heavy, another light day, and then a few more days of spotting. It takes forever!! I've told numerous doctors about it and they all act like it's totally normal. So, I'm not sure about yours. I'm not very knowledgeable about AF issues.

I think this is more like my pre-sway cycles but I didn't used to pay much attention. I stopped fiber this month so maybe that made a difference.
I was going to add a second attempt tomorrow. Now I'm not sure. I think I will because I don't want to keep going on but I think the earlier +opk is a good fertility sign (which I don't really want but need since we've been ttc since April). Any thoughts? Should I do another attempt tomorrow?

Inforthree it really is a toss up, between how quickly you want to get pregnant and how much you want as strong as possible sway for a girl. I have not been attempting as long as you but from my own personal perspective, as the months pass my strictness to the diet and exercise are waning, I think diet is a pretty big factor, so I have given up on one attempt and even e4d's and opted last month fir e3d's, which I think might give me technically two attempts in my fertile window, am happy to go with it as I think am getting further and further from the idea diet and also am finding the whole failure to conceive very difficult. If it was me I would add another, but xxforhubby said a useful thing to me when I was in a similar dilemma, she asked what was I going to stew about more not getting pregnant or getting pregnant with a more blue friendly sway, that really helped me decide what to do, good luck and pink dust! This is your first month TTC, right? I know it sucks every month you're not pregnant when you're trying, but you could look at it as a good sign, especially if you conceived easily with your DS. That what you're doing IS impacting your fertility, iykwim.

This is the cycle I have always been most hoping to conceive because I wanted a May baby so if this isn't my month I know I will be depressed.
Oh a lighter note thought I would share what DH said tonight when we went grocery shopping. He said "I hope you get pregnant soon" at which point I smiled and thought he was being nice, but then he continues with, "so we can start eating meat again." Well thanks babe, how about so we can be done with all this TTC stress and have a baby? Men. (He isn't even doing vegetarian, he eats meat a lot, just not as much as before because I plan meals without it). [emoji13]

No chance for me Mrs sparkles my temps are in my boots but am happy to cheer everyone on. I cannot believe am facing attempting again, I really feel it is pointless, I think I should wait for my fertility appt and hopefully get clomid and then go for it! It is just hard to know what to do between now and then diet/ exercise wise. I think there is some function reason am not conceiving, most likely am not releasing an egg. I don't want to loss any advantage I have gained from diet and exercise which I have been doing since April. But not sure I can motivate myself to continue with it when I have no hope of conceiving! But also am not sure when I will get an appt I was referred in July but it could be many months yet. Such a quandary! X

Look at it this way.
If you continue on LE and working out, by the time you get Clomid it will be pretty much the best chance of having a girl !
Also you never know, you could end up pregnant between now and the appointment - I've seen that happen on here a few times.

I really don't know he just changed when I was pregnant :/ No way of tricking him, he can go months at a time without even "sorting himself out", he's got no sexual desires at all. It's frustrating but I'm going to try convince him to try again today, I got a neg OPK this morning but I read that it's common and you can still ovulate 12-36 hours after.

I got a stark white bfn which I'm totally ok with. My temp went right back down today. Like I said before, I really want to do the injectables so I'm totally fine with a bfn this cycle. It's actually preferential for me to not be pregnant this cycle. I'm just twiddling my thumbs waiting for af. Lol!
FX for everyone else this month!!
Prayingforprincess, sometimes men feel differently about sex when their wife/significant other is pregnant because they realize the vagina serves multiple purposes. Sometimes they have a hard time and think of the vagina as a birthing area/belonging to the baby rather than thinking of the vagina as a sexual thing. You could ask him if that's what's going on. I have a friend that happened to. Her and her husband ended up going to sex therapy for it. He felt guilty that he was taking something away from the baby somehow when they had sex. It was really interesting.

You should DTD today if you can! There's still time! And opks after you get you pos can be unreliable.
The SMEP plan says the day after +opk is actually the most important day to DTD! Hope you can get an attempt in. GL!

My DH can't preform under pressure either so I don't tell him when I am in my fertility window. He has low libido too or something and is having trouble keeping up with the e4d frequency. Sex is like a chore now and I am very tired of doing it so much.

Am slap bang in the middle of a healthy weight for my height, I think for you guys I weigh 140 pounds but am down from 238? So am not underweight nor near it. At times over the 23 odd weeks I have been on the diet I have not even managed the minimum calories and then exercised. At times I struggled with fulfilling the calorie intake on two meals, I have stopped this now and I think am mostly at the upper end of the calories and sometimes over, as I did wonder if that was why I was not ovulating? Girlie it's funny how our bodies work.. I think too if you have always been on the heavier side for BMI (that 238) and had no problems conceiving that it may be your body just hasn't bounced back yet and is in fact in 'shock' still at the weight loss. Great for your sway but knowing all of that and you have only been trying since June it makes sense to me a bit more now why your body is trying to catch up. That is incredible weight loss!! Good for you!!! Now I am hoping if you have to wait much longer that maybe you will get pregnant on your own without assistance... I have got positives opks and then ovulated much later, the only way have known that I o'ed later is when I got positive OPK I had no temp rise, so this month I got a positive OPK at day 14 and then a temp rise at cd 19, which is when I think I ovulated. I have a girl, my eldest. Then two boys, really want to give my dd a sister. My sway is pretty basic, cardio 6 days per week, been doing that since April. Le diet, have reduced red meat to one portion a week. I had cut red meat out completely but my cycles went a bit wacky so atomic suggested I reintroduce it. I have two meals per day but the last three weeks I have increased this to three as per atomic recommendation, due to wacky cycles. No snacking, coffee daily ( I hate the stuff), alcohol daily ( love the stuff) one attempt at positive OPK or some months e4d's. I think that is it , we are not doing any additional things like j @ d or anything like that.
When I conceived my dd, I had just spent a year dieting for my wedding, eating on 3 meals per day and exercising by walking about an hour and a half per day. With my boys I was over weight, snacking and exercising little. So we will see what happens of am lucky enough to get pregnant, great to have company on this journey, good luck and pink dust! X

9 dpo - sore and heavy boobs, slight pelvic cramping, sore gums, and being a total witch with a b instead of a w to my husband. Poor guy. [emoji17] I was sweet as pie and falling all over him just 9 days ago while I was ovulating.
Lol. I'm trying not to get my hopes up. It really sucks that a lot of pregnancy symptoms are the same as pms. I'm a complete poas addict so of course I've already taken 2 tests. [emoji1]

Kat and 10 dpo, I have not reached this far in so long that even if af arrives, that is much better than a lp of 7! I won't test until dpo 14, and af should definitely arrive before then, so testing on Friday would not be a big deal as if af does not arrive by day 12, I would be sort of convinced am pregnant. Like you I have lots of symptoms but I have had these before and it meant af, I did have a head ache yesterday, it lasted all day, I rarely get them, but did in pregnancy but it could just be the weather! Good luck to you! X

I used to be a poas addict too, now I actually dread testing time! Wish I could fast forward this week!!
8dpo and no obvious symptoms of pregnancy or pms. X

Girlie, that is such a great sign that your LP is either longer or this is your cycle for a BFP. Good job on waiting to test. I agree with Atomic when she encourages ladies not to test till AF is late. (Even though it is hard to be patient). Really hoping this is your month.

Feeling really crampy, hoping it is not af. I also am extremely sweaty in the belly region, never really notice d that with af, the 2 ww is frustrating! X

Am seriously bloated in the last hour or so, always a sign of af for me! I think af is en route, why am so disappointed? I have never got a positive before cd 14 with my three pregnancies and with dd it was so weak at cd 14, I would test on Friday. If I lasted to Friday I would never had that long a cycle, unless I was pregnant so I would be pretty sure, I am spending so much time in the bathroom checking it is ridiculous, my dd shouted up the last time, are you in the tiolet again? Ha ha! Pm

How is the clomid going? When will you be attempting? Good luck x o x

Girlieplease- I'm hoping that AF stays away! I'm just happy that your LP had lengthened!
The Clomid is going well. It makes me sleepy about 4 hours after I take it. It's not too bad, nothing a cup of coffee doesn't fix! It also makes me thirsty. I'm glad I didn't take it at night- I can't fall asleep if I'm thirsty!
We've already started BDing. We are doing E3-E4Ds. If it ends up E4D, then we will have another attempt at positive opk. I am only going to keep trying until December, so I want to maximize our BDs. I'm hoping the Clomid will bring my O forward and increase my LP. The last couple of months my LP has been [emoji13]!
I feel really good about my sway- I've been on the LE diet since February and strict since April. I've been doing the exercise since March. Now that I'm on Clomid, I feel that I've done all I can do to increase the odds of getting a girl for my DH!
FX we see more BFPs soon!!

Wow xxforhubby i did not know that our sway was so similar, I started diet end of Jan start if Feb. Strict with diet and cardio 6 days per week since April, am still breast feeding as well, though not as much as you my wee man is 2 1/2. Funny your body shortened your LP like mine, wonder were our bodies in shock, adjusting to the change in diet and exercise. Good luck with the clomid, wish I was similar to you in that I had it. Hope we both get bfp with pink beans soon x

Yeah, I'm still breastfeeding my DS3 4-6 times a day and sometimes none overnight. At most, I breastfeed him once overnight.
FX our bodies gets this all worked out and can give us a BFP!!

XXFor hubby can I ask how long your LP has been and if you think it has changed since being on the LE diet? I am curious as my LP has been between 11-14 days since AF returned after having my little man, with a little spotting usually from day 7 or 8 until AF arrives but last night (Monday night)in the middle of the night I noticed brown spotting ( I would be 3 dpo). I have never had spotting this early ever and have no idea what my body is doing. This seems too early for implantation spotting and too late for ovulation spotting (positive opk Friday). We BD Friday night but not since so at a loss as try why I am spotting now. Any ideas as to why would be appreciated. Good luck getting your bfp this month.
