I'm anxious for you, Inforthree! FX for pink!

I have accepted what will be will be. I know I'll be fine with another boy, but I'm worried about my DH. I just hope and pray that we all did enough! I won't know for sure until the beginning of May at the earliest- I'll be 18 weeks then.

FX for all of us!

XX since you are in the USA you should ask your doc about progenity Progenity (http://progenity.com/) It is a NIPT test that is only usually $100 if you have insurance. My doc offers it to just about all his patience.

I can finally chime in to say I'm definitely experiencing symptoms now. I've had a sick feeling that hasn't left me for two whole days...I wake up in the middle of the night and it's still there...which is really weird for me. I don't usually experience any symptoms throughout pregnancy fortunately but I think this time around my body is telling me I'm getting too old for this lol!!

I'm also super knackered all day and can't shift it...I plan to take advantage of the weekend and see if I can reenergize!

Oh buttercups welcome to the club ... Loads of stuff makes my stomach turn even watching stuff on the telly or different smells, I hope it subsides soon! I suppose our hormones are doubling by the week so it's least we can expect, as long as it all settles down soon! We had a pizza takeaway, plain thin based margheritta for me, the plainer and simpler food the better

Maybe...I'm 37 too. It's hard to really reflect because how I feel in the moment overshadows how I may have felt in the past. I will say that I'm glad I'm not feeling the fatigue like I have in other pregnancies. It was so bad with my DS1 that I slept through a remodel of our main bathroom next to our bedroom. I literally slept through them jack hammering the concrete! Crazy!

Faith- What helps me with the terrible taste is to brush my teeth or suck on Jolly Ranchers. They are made with real fruit juice and help to take the taste away. Anything mint flavored makes me gag!

I agree! I'm expecting this to be boy #4. It will be exciting to see what we are all having! I have my first scan on Tuesday, and I'm super excited! I'll be 8w3d so will definitely look like a little baby [emoji4]!

We had to tell my boys and my In-laws we are expecting. I've been so sick (actually throwing up) that everyone has been worried about me. They think I have the flu! We had our older boys write a story about things in life that come in fours, and we ended it with "and the Anderson family". My DS1 started to jump up and down and asked if I was pregnant again. I said yes, and he gave me the biggest hug! He said our DS3 gets to be a big brother! My DS2 wants twins- either 2 girls or a boy and a girl [emoji15]!

Awe, hang in there sweetie! I'm sure I'll end up being the sway opposite in this DDG like I was the last time with my DS3. All but 4 got their DG. I really think nothing short of divine intervention could allow me and my DH to have a DD, haha!

Ladies, I've seen on some of the other Due Date Groups a list of ladies usernames, along with whether they swayed or not, and then ultimately the Gender they ended up having confirmed. Is it possible we could get something like that put up here?
If it's not something other people prefer to have up then that's fine too!

We've pretty much decided to forgo all scans and go team green :D we still have time to think about it. I'm just happy to be pregnant after so long. I was worried my equipment wouldn't work for some reason LOL.

I can't kick my afternoon tea u_u I'm so tired. I'm starting to relax with my diet and in the process of cutting most dairy out. Just keeping 1 serving of greek yogurt and cream for my tea. I also saved alot by not buying a variety of nuts today.

Ough, I gained like 20Lbs on HE without eating a single bite of junk. All it took for me was to eat every couple of hours and up I went.

I'm. So. Sick. 🤢I'll be relieved to see only one baby on Tuesday! I may have to break down and get something. This time around I have the puke sensation type of nausea. The bad thing is, even if I do puke I don't end up feeling better [emoji20]. Magnesium doesn't help either, which it did when puking a ton with my DS1. Ugh. 🤢[emoji4] My sea bands don't help, which I'm not surprised because I don't have the dizzy type of nausea like I did with my DS2. I thought this might be a severe case of sour stomach like with DS3 but Zantac (Ranitidine) doesn't help either. Sigh. I can't even suck on frozen fruit because fruit tastes like cough syrup [emoji30]

I even eat small meals more frequently and keep snacks super small. I have even played with the carb/protein/fat ratios to see if that makes a difference. The one thing I'm going to try that I haven't yet, is eating more veggies. Since I have a super strong fruit aversion, maybe veggies will help. I'm thinking of picking up sweet red and orange peppers (yellow and green can cause acid reflux), celery and seeing if those help any. I make a yummy cheese dip for the peppers, and I'm thinking of nut butter and raisins for the celery.

Get some milk thistle to help your liver out, it will give at least a little relief. Also, perhaps try a different magnesium, either topical or picometer sized so your cells absorb it quickly.

Yeah, DH and I both love purple and we feel that is a unisex color , so along with the turquoise-ish (lol), browns and accent avocado/olive type green on a warm beige background (wall), I'll be happy either way :) As long as I can use purple, I'm more at ease with whichever gender for some reason. LOL.

Something like this and I can add some gold accent or something. Not sure yet. I decided on this when I started swaying, DD helped me with the idea.

I was soooo sick my first three boys and other than being tired and super hungry, this pregnancy has been the easiest. Makes me nervous but doctor said all looks good at my scan yesterday. 148 heartbeat. I lost in November right around this gestation and the hr was only 80. Sickness always made me feel like baby was healthy. Praying baby sticks!

Oh you just wait until you get to 6-7 weeks! I felt the same way and now I don't need to pee on tests because the nausea is so great!

I have found that drinking LOTS of water helps take the edge off a little. If I'm going to end up puking, then nothing helps, haha! I'm trying to stay in too if it by staying well hydrated. I only drink water really anyway.

This might sound crazy, but I submitted my scan to the gender experts for 7.99 to do a ramzi and they predicted girl! I'm holding on to hope. I know that they have been wrong too, but I've never had anyone predict I'd have a girl. Always ALWAYS boy! I might try the sneak peek gender prediction. It's sold on Amazon and supposed to be pretty accurate after 9 weeks.

Welcome! :)

Are you sure about the due date calculations? I'm personally going by Ovulation date and not my last period, but even if I was going with LMP, my due date would be October 26th. Just double checking :)It's only a couple days difference, but with the LMP already taking 2 weeks away from baby's cooking time, it could make a difference :)

Roedinga1
February 19th, 2017, 12:47 PM
Well, I thought about that. I know my OB will go off my LMP no matter what I tell them (irritating). I showed them my chart with my pregnancy last fall and they were still trying to tell me differently. Whenever I get a scan I'm sure I'll get a more accurate date. Both of my boys were exactly 11 days early and I only had one scan with each of them at 20 weeks for anatomy. My most recent pregnancy being so "off" from the beginning, I had numerous scans and they kept pushing my date further and further back despite me knowing exactly when I BD and ovulated (unhealthy baby, not growing?). So I guess I'll sit tight on the LMP due date until they tell me otherwise [emoji57]

I swear they thought I was borderline psychotic with my last pregnancy because I would tell them over and over that my dates weren't wrong and if something was wrong then it was the baby ([emoji22]) because I know my body very well. So frustrating. Unfortunately, I was right.

Awwww *big hugs* I totally get it. That's why I chose the line of work I'm in, I like to empower women as much as I can. Most OB's scoff at charts

Ok ladies, so I went for a very long walk today. I haven't walked in at least a month. I felt pain in the same place I felt pain in when I suspect little bean implanted. It is on the right side of my uterus towards the bottom and the pain I get shoots down my leg up to my knee.

Can anyone relate?

Sorry Cosmosis, I can't relate but I can relate to the previous poster who has an issue with her dates.

I'm in the same boat, my last LMP was 1st Jan and I don't know when I ovulated as I was on this site initially learning how to gain a better understanding of my cycles. Anyway...I could have only conceived on either the 20th, 21st or 27th Jan and my next cycle should have started on 1st Feb. I obviously had late ovulation, and received my BFP on 6th Feb. I can't have become pregnant before at least the 20th Jan but due date calculators, and my healthcare team will insist on going by my last LMP.

Any thoughts?

I suppose they just do it as an easier guideline to follow for everyone x

The only thing I can suggest is to fudge your LMP by reporting a different date all together. Due date estimations should be calculated based on Ovulation date not LMP. If a woman has 50 day cycles, using LMP puts her waaaaaaaaay off on her due date. On top of that, we are not pregnant when we are bleeding. It makes no sense.

My DD was quite obviously not ready to come out at so called "40 weeks" (she was actually 38 weeks if we calculate based on O date).

1pinplease, between the 20th and the 27th is a whole week. Do you know on what cycle day you ovulated?

I just found a due date calculator that has date of conception as an option. I did LMP and my due date is 10/25/17 and by conception date and my due date is 11/12/17. That's a big darn difference people!
Butterflies - I think you're right. Many of my patients can barely tell me their LMP when I ask them at their appointments.

So strange. My OB always does a dating scan, which always coincides by my ovulation date. My due date is always within a day or two from what I suspect it is based on my chart. They always ask for a 2-3 day range of when I suspect I may have ovulated to calculate my due date and my average cycle length. I must be spoiled then, haha!

XX that's great!
I know I'm a "late" ovulator. Usually about 5-6 days later than the normal, making my cycles 33 days on average. Both of my boys came on their own time, 11 days early, and were decent size without any respiratory issue. It's crazy to think that based on conception they were both, likely, close to a month early! Right?

Every baby grows at a different rate and are ready between 38 and 42 weeks, that's a whole month's difference. Some go a little over 42 weeks.

Based on Ovulation, I'm due November 9th :) so you and I are only a couple of days apart! :D

No, I don't unfortunately Cosmosis but I would hazard a guess at between cycle day 18-23. Only because I've been using a couple of apps to help track & understand my cycle, (the whole initial reason I was on this site!) and they have differing dates (due to my weird cycle) so my guess is a mixture of those.
The difference is not a super big deal to me as I'm sure dating scans will clarify a few things but I would like any insights if you have any!
I appreciate you having a look at this regardless*

No problem :) So what I would do in your situation is stay in the middle. If you O'd between CD18 and 23, I would mark it to be CD20 or 21. If you wrote down symptoms and other details, it may help you choosing the date.

The LMP calculation is based on a 28 day cycle and assumes that women ovulate 14 days after they begin their period and they count pregnancy from the first day of your cycle. This means that at CD14 you are already 2 weeks pregnant even if you haven't ovulated. If you ovulate on CD21, you are already 3 weeks pregnant.

I personally shave off that two week discrepancy by marking my LMP as my Ovulation date as many other women do. Even then, there is no guarantee that baby will come at 40 weeks. Baby may arrive at 38 to 42ish weeks. So in my case, I should expect baby's arrival from Mid October to mid November.

Here is a very nicely written explanation on due date calculations:https://spirited-mama.com/tag/parikhs-formula/

Me too! I am switching up my cardio routine and adding weight lifting back in. I have to exercise in pregnancy otherwise I go nuts!

I also have short labor and easy deliveries, and I cannot help but think the exercise and diet I've done throughout have contributed to that.

If something were to happen, and you'll be in regret for NOT using progesterone, then use it. It won't hurt you and it will also help offset the excess estrogen.

I found I can only eat 300-500 calories per meal and added 2 200 calorie snacks before lunch and before dinner. This has helped me to not feel so sick! I don't puke anymore and still feel worse in the evenings, but I'm managing. Whenever I start to feel sick, I drink a big swig of water and that helps take the edge off. This makes sense because the reason we are so sick is because of the excess hormone production.

So, I'm kind of getting excited to know what this little bean is! I'm really excited about the names we have picked out for both genders! We just need a back up girl name.

Funny story: So when we met our DS3, he did NOT look like the name we picked out! We had no back up name! Thank goodness my nurse told us her favorite boy name and it fit our criteria! That's how we were able to name him! Sooo, we learned our lesson! My DH is in charge of coming up with the first name this time. Hello everyone, I haven't posted in this thread for a while. Just to recap I have 2 boys and am 11.5 weeks pregnant. Didn't actually sway as I had tried to sway for several months but wasn't getting pregnant and hubby got a bit fed up so I just tried to get pregnant. We did unintentionally abstain though for a couple of weeks prior to the attempt. Due to not being entirely sure when I ovulated/conceived we may have gotten pregnant after the 1 attempt.
Anyway, I just got my harmony results back and it's a GIRL!!! I know this sounds cliche but I was and still am in shock - I honestly feel like I am going to wake up from a dream soon. I made her repeat it to me because I was sure I misheard! I hope I have started the trend of pink news for everyone here!!!

Wow Mama of boys so happy for you, you must be so thrilled!!! Hopefully this trend continues for the group, were you on the le diet? Buttercups I wouldn't worry about it, I actually thought you were allowed alcohol or coffee anytime on its own, that's what I use to do aswell, unless I'm wrong. Drinking alcohol is better then not drinking it at all so try not to worry, you did your best and that's all that matters love xx

As long as it fit into your limits for the day, that's what matters most. Most drank it with meals or soon after eating, but I don't think it matters too terribly much.

FX we continue the trend that Mama started! Huge congrats on hearing pink [emoji175]!

So today I've started with "flu-like" symptoms- body aches, headache, fatigue, nausea - but no fever or cough/cold symptoms. Is this a pregnancy thing or am I getting sick? I've never had anything like this with either of my other pregnancies.

Wow, this gives me hope! I didn't sway either!! Congrats on being the first to hear pink....many of us will hopefully be following*

Now that I'm all done with my appointments today, I wanted to share what all I found out during my scan. There was another sac that did have a gestational sac inside, but the placenta did not develop. The perinatologist that reviewed my scan dated it around 5w5d and said it is not viable. The other baby is measuring right on my ovulation date was and is 8w3d. I'm somewhat sad and somewhat relieved. I trust in Gods plan.

Also, I'm not trying to read into Ramzi's theory or OWT's, but the healthy baby's placenta is clearly on the upper left side and it's heart rate was 170. My DS1's heart rate was 135, DS2's was 140, and my DS3's was 138. He also had his placenta on the left but kind of in the middle. Again, I'm not trying to read into anything [emoji6].

Please do add a sway anyway. These type of "not really a sway, sways" are way more illuminating than those where people did all the sway tactics. Who knows we may end up finding that one attempt works even without diet (although I doubt it!! LOL) but this info is invaluable to everyone so we can find out what really does sway and what is only background noise.

Random alert.
I know this isn't a scientific thing obviously, but I always feel like I can tell who's turn it is for which gender based on the people I know who are pregnant and what they are having. Right now my SIL just announced she is pregnant with a girl. I know it's incredibly silly but I can't help but have his sinking feeling that the news means i am slated to have the boy next. [emoji174][emoji174]

Anyone else feel like this?
Have I lost my last shred of sanity from the last year of swaying/starving, and hormones raging?

I just want to have a daughter with everything I have. [emoji177]

Hello! Hope it's OK if I join, thank you for invite xxforhubby (my hubby has wanted a girl more than me since #1, so not much pressure for me either!!!). I swayed for girl after 3 boys - probably due 30th October or thereabouts.

I am dreading telling people we're having a fourth full stop. My family will be up in arms, probably mainly due to the state of the world/environment. I'm so selfish. But yes, can't stand the stupid 'oh 3 boys, poor you!' etc at the supermarket.

Hi all,
Sorry to hear lots of you are so unwell...we can take comfort in the fact that our baby's are hopefully thriving off us! I'm in bed as I type this...I feel awful too and have done for the last two days.

On a side point, ladies you couldn't make this up! I posted a few pages back that my SIL was expecting just a few weeks before me, well today I had a phone call and was informed that two other family members are expecting in October! I'm so happy for them and at this point have accepted that whatever will be, will be! I can't stress about who will end up with whatever gender, it's already written and I'll just have to deal. I want to enjoy this pregnancy and celebrate this life growing inside me...I can't waste valuable time worrying about something that I have absolutely no control over. Anyway ...moan over!
I hope we all get to feel well soon*

I couldn't agree with you more! This is my last pregnancy, and I refuse to let anything distract me from enjoying it! This little person needs me to take the best care of him/her. Worrying about things I cannot control take precious time away from him/her and the children I have.

I keep hoping there are magic foods that I can eat that will make me not feel sick. I'm starting to think nothing exists. I tried red meat, because I hadn't had it ages. Alas, that was an epic failure 🤣!The only thing that helps somewhat is keeping meals to no more than 300-450 calories and two small snacks. It's no wonder I'm losing weight, although I had about 10 I could've stood to lose from the start [emoji6].

I'm with you Jules. I'm still super early...like still counting myself as "DPO" and not "weeks pregnant" but I have no symptoms besides some afternoon fatigue. I was sitting in the waiting room while my boys were at the dentist and it took everything I had not to nod off! I don't really even have sore boobs yet.
Can't help but feel a little nervous and just wait patiently for the beautiful misery to commence [emoji5]🤞🏻
My "flu like" symptoms from yesterday are much better. I have a mild sore throat so I'm thinking those symptoms were/are related to a little virus.
This is most likely my last pregnancy so I'm trying to enjoy every moment. I really really hope it's a sweet baby girl but I think I've come to terms with the fact that what's done is done.

I don't think that sore throats, mucous or cold symptoms at the start of a pregnancy are a virus. Mucous thickens with the hormone increase. That's why a common pregnancy complaint is a stuffed nose.

Most of us here have reported at least one cold symptom. I personally got a cough with some mucous out of nowhere sometime last week and a sore throat. Nobody in my house has been ill and I haven't gone out in weeks and I had no symptoms leading up to it. I still have a good cough once a day. It is so weird. lol

Mine caused me to get a sinus infection! I hated taking antibiotics, but my nasal passage was so swollen my doctor couldn't see in my nose! My head felt like it was in a vice grip! I'm fine now though, so I think at some point it gets better. Maybe once the mucus plug fully forms?

Hang in there!

So sorry XX, I just had a chance to read through all these posts and found out about your loss. Fingers crossed the one in there is super strong & healthy!

It is still very early days for me, the only symptoms I have are runny nose/allergy symptoms in the evenings and occasional insomnia (usually I'm a hit the pillow & crash out kind of girl, now every couple of nights I struggle to switch off). I have to go for thyroid test as my hair was falling out on LE diet, despite me eating a lot more than most on the forum, so hope the insomnia is not another symptom of that.

If I don't get any sickness at all this pregnancy I think I will assume another boy. I had sickness with ds1, nausea with ds2, nothing at all with ds3 (no aversions, cravings, nothing - just huge bump). Assumed it was because I was so used to boy hormones!

Welcome Jcogner, that makes two blue swayers here! lol

My temps have gone down for two days ladies(above cover line) keep me in your prayers. I hope it is nothing and its just some estrogen kicking into high gear. I wasn't expecting it either day because I was so hot I had to turn on the fan with winter weather.

I technically should have stopped temping two weeks ago lol, but here we are.

I agree. I'm a mess right now...riddled with 'flu-like' symptoms that came out of nowhere. I wondered if it was just me 'coming down' with something but no one else at home has this and that's usually how I catch stuff!

I've never temped through early pregnancy so I'm not sure what's normal and what's not but I also had a dip in temp today and I've had a couple dips days prior. It's well above coverline but I totally understand because it just gives me something to worry about. I'm hoping both of us get a little rise tomorrow for peace of mind.

Well, fluctuations are normal and just like we have to wait until after O to see a definite pattern, it should be the same for pregnancy. Some women don't have temp drops and still miscarry. Some bleed first then temps drop, so in all reality, we are just obsessing. LOL. That being said:

AFM, I spent almost all day in bed :( I felt very blue all day. We're facing some difficulties as a family and due to the hormones, I'm finding it very difficult to cope. This plus the fatigue just called for staying in bed today. I feel a bit better now.

During my long nap, I had several episodes of sleep paralysis. I had this with DD, but it was during the 3rd trimester. I've had a couple in the last week, but these were back to back. I hate them! :worry:

On the bright side, I realized I have a "food craving". It isn't something I actually had the opportunity to crave because we eat it daily here, however, I realized I've been having it 2-3 times per day! SALAD. LOL!

Hi!!

I have not been on here for soooo long but Im excited to be back and to be able to join this group!
I am 13 weeks today and due on 01/09/17. :)

For those who don't know me from previously, I have 7 boys. The youngest, Braxton, just turned 2. He was a twin pregnancy, after swaying for a girl, but I lost his twin sister, Shaylah, at 25weeks into the pregnancy and she was stillborn.

We swayed this time but not as strictly as we had given up on falling pregnant at the time and were going to get back into it strictly in the new year. I am crossing everything that its a girl but after posting scan pics on FB and getting all boy guesses, Im not very hopeful.

Anyway, its good to be back and I look forward to sharing the pregnancy journey with you all. xx

However, I got my NIPT test results back on Tuesday and it's a GIRL!!! So you are definitely in with a chance! Best of luck. Will you be finding out the gender before the birth?

Roe, how are your temps this morning? My initial temp was oddly low this morning, it didn't make sense so I took it again immediately and it was in the normal range. I dropped it 2 days ago, I hope I didn't break it or something.

I'll stop temping after I take my last CBD sometime next week.

Hey Cosmo, glad to hear your second temp was in a good range. My temp was about a tenth lower today. Maybe I'm just going to stabilize in the mid 98's? I'm taking comfort in the fact that my Wondfo from today was noticeably darker than yesterday's! I'm also due for labs this morning so we will see what that shows! How are you feeling this morning? I was slightly queasy when I woke up (a first for the pregnancy). I've had mild waves of nausea and dizziness throughout the day but not upon waking. Hope you're feeling better today.

What kind of pressure is normal at this stage? I've felt my uterus tighten up a couple of times now and I have alot of discomfort. I get like rectal pressure as if the bean implanted towards the back and bottom of my uterus. When DH and I DTD and he's on top, I feel alot of pressure in my rectal area as well.

Can anyone relate?

My bean implanted on the bottom, back, left. Early on I felt pressure in the groin area and back kind of by my kidney. I thought/feared of an ectopic pregnancy but it was just where the baby implanted. Lots of pressure and muscle like soreness in that area.

Ladies, my persistence paid off. I got the results and it's a girl. I just burst into tears. It's going to take a while to sink in. I have so much pent up emotion about it all. I'm so thankful for this site and group.

Oh Cosmosis, very sorry to hear that. However, it doesn't have to mean doom and gloom...some ladies go as far as to bleed heavily and the whole time their little beans are oblivious to the whole thing... snuggled up safe and well* Try not to worry...put your feet up if possible and just try to take your mind off things...

I just read my post back and hope I didn't come off as invalidating your feelings....I just want to make you feel better and I'm praying over here that this is nothing to worry about at all...just one of those things that comes and is gone as quick as it appeared:hugs:

Thank you ladies. I know they say it is normal, but because of my temps I'm worried. We DTD twice yesterday and I don't think that helped lol.

I can't get any bloodwork anytime soon, so I just have to ride it out.

Cosmo, do you think your doc or midwife would order blood work given the "situation?" Cramping, spotting, etc?

I haven't even called a midwife yet. They have a slow process here and you have to get on a waiting list for it, so nope. no bloods.

The spotting will either get heavier or go away in the next few days. I was planning on taking my CBD next week. That should give me some clues as to what's going on, if anything.

Keep me in your prayers <3 gonna go rest. Although I've been sitting all day...

Oh no Cosmosis! I'm hoping and praying that as stays well with you and your bean! I'm thinking the BDing is the culprit.

Welcome DesiG :) congrats to you!

So an update from me. My temps are still up today and when I when I wiped this morning there was nothing, however, I checked my cervix and did find fresh blood.

I'm also cramping, but was fine all night while I was laying down. There was nothing in my liner this morning. I guess I'll have to wait and see if a flow develops or not?

I'm only 4 days overdue for my period. Last cycle AF came on CD36 and today is CD41, so there's a possibility of of breakthrough bleeding I suppose. Not likely though.

Hang in there Cosmosis! Early pregnancy is fraught with so much worry [emoji20]. I really do think your cervix may have gotten irritated from BDing. When I got pregnant with my DS3, I bled a few days after AF would have been due. Turns out, I had a SCH (sub chorionic bleed) where the placenta attached on a blood vessel. I was told it is really common and is the source, the majority of the time, of spotting in early pregnancy. His was small and didn't pose a problem. About 10 or so days later, I had a small amount happen again when the scab fell off or got reabsorbed. My doc said a little oozing could occur during that time.

FX so hard that all is well with your little bean!

Thank you XX :)

The discomfort is definitely in my cervix. It feels like alot of pressure, a little pain and the sensation of getting a rectal suppository lol. The discomfort reminds me of a pap smear or when I got my IUD inserted. Light cramping but mostly irritation to the cervix.

Does the cervix it hurt when it starts to dilate? The bleeding isn't picking up and it has yet to start coming out without me looking for it by checking internally.

DH and I agreed that if bleeding picks up or I don't feel well, we'll go to the ER. It is much to early for heartbeat detection right? I am 5w1d according to LMP. I assume they'd do a bloodwork and a transvag scan right?

ETA: I checked again just now and the discharge is a bit brownish now but still red/orange ish and my cervix hurts when I check. Its still very high up though, not sure what to make of it. I put myself on bed rest today.

So relieved to hear that nothing eventful happened overnight, Cosmo. I'm with XX and I'm hoping that all of this is a result of your cervix being irritated by the BD'ing. I hope the temps staying up also gives you some peace of mind! Take it easy and please keep us posted. I'll be thinking about you and your little bean! [emoji170]

Butterflies...do you put much stock into symptoms?
I know if you read around people will say you shouldn't but others really feel like things were just 'different' when they were pregnant with opposite genders...

Exactly if ppl thought things were different I definately don't although maybe I have worse nausea but that's it so far I think ?
I think as time goes on I may feel different when my bump comes but I expect to hear boy and that way won't be disappointed I think thats the way to go x

Wow - congratulations!!! You must be ecstatic!! I only found out on Tuesday that my third is a girl too (I have 2 boys already like you). It is still slowly sinking in for me too so I know exactly how you feel! That night I couldn't sleep, I was sure it was a dream so I called them back the next day and I made her tell me the gender again! Congrats again, such wonderful news :)

I've been on bedrest all day. The bleeding isn't getting worse, I don't even have a spot on my pad, but that's probably be cause every time I've gone to the toilet I do a quick check.

The discharge looks like the start of my period, you know when its like a reddish brown but not actually old blood. It is staying that way so far.

It's my cervix that hurts, the cramping isn't really there, unless I irritate my cervix when I check. Perhaps tomorrow's temps will give some insight of where things are going.

Ok so I said I would not do this, but I am, so a few things have been going with me, 1st thing did any of you go back to your old ways after getting a bfp? I don't want to eat anything, but I make myself eat dinner. Also did any of you break out with your boys? I've heard people who are pregnant with boys don't breakout, well I've had so many breakouts, from my chin nose eyelid back every where. And dry skin.
