And my control line is darker than my test line today with fmu so I'd say today will be my day I O (Monday) and Tuesday I will officially be in the 2ww 1dpo.... how early has anyone gotten a bfp on pregnancy test? I have like 40tests lol so I'm sure I'll start testing wayyyyy to early

I think I'm going to attempt to wait to test until 10 or 11dpo, which will be April 4th. With all these wondfos, may be difficult to resist POAS!!! I'm also goin to watch my chart closely for an implantation dip. Since this is my 1st time charting, wondering if that's common to see? Anyone ever notice that?

Oh that would really stink Ash...thinking positive & we're going to get our BFPs this time, so it won't be an issue for you fxfxfx! I was reading up on the implantation dip & it says that it's a 1 day drop in temp from 7-10 days after O, but not a guarantee for a BFP...as there could be other reasons for a dip. I also read other places that said it was a myth, so I was wondering if anyone else had noticed this? Even if it's a myth...I'm sure it would make me a little excited to see a dip :)

Well hubby just got called out to work near Canada (which is about half way across the USA from where we're at. So happy I'm ovulating today!! I won't be taking my first test at least till 7dpo because I want him to be home for it

We couldn't get the 3rd attempt in last night so that leaves us with 2 attempts after solid smiley. I was so upset but couldn't do anything about it.
Feeling so bad. We had quite a weekend so can't even blame dh. We were both exhausted. I was still ready to give it a go but dh was too
Tired to stay up and I think planned BD took the fun out for dh.

There's nothing more I could do to get dh to go along with e4 +1 he was slacking lol so I figure why not do as much as possible I found a thread from 2011 on here where the first 4 who posted were pretty well doing diet and exercise but the frequency was all the time. So I decided rather do eod may as well go for the gold we have dtd 10x in the last 12 days since af and have already had 3 attempts at positive opk and since he's getting ready to leave for a week we will have one more attempt in there. He's still going strong but I'm super over it haha!!! My diet has been spot on exercise has been getting 1hr 5x/week and I've lost 5lbs in 3 weeks so hopefully I'm with pbn and have a 50/50 chance

And I keep teller my him his sperm takes 36-48 hours to rebuild lol but he does not care! I'm thinking it's because of high testosterone possibly from being a weight lifter. Also something he wouldn't budge on

I m off the tests for now. I need to go get some pregnancy tests. So far, I focused on the Opk. [emoji846]
Also it took us a few months when we were trying for dd and we weren't using opks then. So my dh thinks it may not happen so soon.

I have read that BD everyday reduces Sperm count but I think that might also sway pink. I could be wrong as I am super new at this.

Ash-my friend recently had a baby girl and she said she dtd everyday (she wasn't swaying), so it must work in some cases! I know some advise against it since it depletes the swimmers when it counts for some, but who knows-it may be just what works for you fx!!

Skyblue 2 attempts for blue is still good! It's the diet that makes the biggest difference and every other smaller things help. You have a great shot at blue! I only had 2 attempts with ds2 and exactly what yours are - pm of day before o and morning of o (coincidentally that's going to be my timing again as I doubt me or dh will be up for another bd tonight....) Maybe you could try and initiate a random bd today and that way you're covered for a later o?

Lola and I want4kids I'm not completely sold on the 'implantation dip' as apparently a secondary surge of estrogen is the cause - hence why even non pregnant charts can show a dip. In saying that I've seen on this site some ladies charts who have a big dip (some almost to coverline or below) and go on to get a bfp so maybe there is something to it?

Don't freak out or anything because I'm not sure just that something is jogging my memory about 'excessice' pos opks.... can you get a pic with just one test from each day and if they're not marked with cd can you mark it?

Pbn-I came across PCOS when researching and already was alarmed, but I don't have any other symptoms except for sharp pains on right side during O that lasts several days, but no weight gain, facial hair etc. Could the dark lines have something to do with my recent CP or maybe that I was nursing & recently stopped? No clue, but want to see it fade. I've never had issues getting pregnant & this was my 1st CP. I'm sad to say that I don't have all my tests organized to line them up :(

Also its not uncommon for some ladies to have a high lh reading even after o so its awesome you were temping to catch the spike :) 3-4 days of pos opks isn't uncommon apparently but for some reason I thought you were closer to 6??

Here's mine Lola my control is noticeably lighter this time the two above the last were really diluted.
My strongest surge was with fmu this am. So do you technically ovulate after the surge is gone? Or within 36 he of the start of the surge? I know we've had plenty of attempts but the ttc freak in me is saying if he was home we could have a couple more attempts

Within 12-72 hours of very first pos opk ash. You cant rely on an opk going negative to know if you've oed or not as lh takes longer to leave the system in some moreso than others. Opks only confirm a lh surge has taken place but temping and seeing a temp spike is really the only way to know that ovulation has actually happened :)

Do you think bding now will make any difference honestly. I keep thinking that we made a huge mistake not doing the last night attempt.
I get my periods in 28 days mostly. Could that mean my O may have already passed?

The thing is, if you oed yesterday then a 3rd attempt last night would have made no difference as the egg will have already been fertilised or it would be very unlikely it will have survived long enough to be fertilised. The thing is that Dh is working late and I don't know if we will be able to get that attempt in. He had to work tonight of all the nights.

I felt those yesterday. Today is milder. I had a smile on my face yesterday. Yay Cramps.
This is our first cycle so I am excited but I know that it can go either way. Having you all here made it a lot less stressful honestly. I m so thankful that I posted here. It's so much easier and less stressful to share this part of the journey :) I stopped taking part in 2ww's for quite awhile there but it feels so good to be back! I still remember when I first joined and felt so clueless and surrounded by wonderful, patient, seemed-to-be all knowing women 😀 to offer advice and support. I can totally understand because I felt so much better when I got answers to my questions. I always imagined this time where I will be ttc and thought I would go nuts. But thanks to you, my sanity was in check. [emoji4]
So the cervix needs to be soft if you are Oing. Again I have no idea about that too. What I don't understand is that we have four most fertile days in a month and using advanced opk the right way which is starting at the recommended day based on your cycle, will tell you your high and peak days. So if we are anyway waiting for 12 hours to BD after peak and getting two attempts in may be 3 then why would that not catch the egg? Given the cycles are pretty much regular. Because Af comes 2 weeks afterO.
I only have knowledge about all that I read however I know that you all know a lot more
Based on experience so don't want to sound dumb here. Just curious.

Then out of that 1 in 4 pregnancies will fail to implant or will miscarry down the track. By bding at peak reading you are getting at least one attempt in however many may follow at least 12-48 prior ovulation giving you the best chance by having 'fresh but ready' sperm to meet egg (I'm referring to the peak reading on dual hormone digi ones here). Sperm can live up to 5 days or so in some cases but those are the best case scenarios. I've never personally fallen pregnant from anything other than 1-o or o day attempt (not sure which one sealed the deal) that I know of.

When I talk about cervix position and texture its just another 'tool' to guess ovulation is or has taken place just like cm. We cannot know for sure when we ovulate and when our cervix or cm changes in relation to that unless we were under 24 hour observation with constant ultrasounds to confirm egg has been released. All I know is as a trend from 2 years of on and off charting that my cervix goes high and soft then hardens, cm will turn from watery to sticky creamy and this corresponds with a temp spike. I'm not sure when the cervix hardens and cm changes that I have oed, I use it as a sign that I should have or am in that 24hr period of temp checking. I hope all this make sense and please let me know if I haven't answered your question. I myself have come abit confused and think I'll start a thread to ask atomic about the recommended bd pattern for blue. If eod sways strongly blue I'm wondering why that isn't the recommendation?? I am no longer feeling confident about this cycle I didn't have a big temp spike this am so assuming I still haven't Od and dh is gone so I won't have another attempt at it 😢. Still feeling cramping. 10am today will be 48hours since my first pos opk so surely by tomorrow I should have a temp spike. Im currently 17dpo and generally start af every 28 days. Is it normal to have such a short time between O and af?

I am not sure if everyone here thinks that it sways either way but it's just me and my silly thinking where I am still stuck up on a few things from Shettles. So I wanted to stick to the attempts after peak reading on dual surge opk.

Hi Ash. Glad that you put the opks away. I just checked twice after solid smiley and then didn't look in that direction [emoji13]. I am not temping so have no idea about that so I am totally dependent on opks.
I really don't think that you should be worried about catching the egg since you had good attempts in. I guess more than any of us. [emoji4]
I feel all of us are worried in one way or another.
I m worried about not having the 3rd attempt and whenever I think about it, I can't stop shedding a few tears. [emoji4]
But all of your wonderful ladies make me feel better and that I have someone by my side in all this.

So for all my confidence I oed yesterday I don't have a temp spike. Cm is post o, my lower abdomen no longer feels like its going to burst and is no longer tender to touch so who knows... lucky I don't have a hat or I'd have to eat it! So kinda wishing now we'd dtd again last night but that's life. I feel like maybe I have oed even just recently (last hour or so) and I was too early to catch the temp rise. But again I just don't know. So Ash we are really together in this!!!!! I'm sure we'll both see a spike come tomorrow morning! Well done on signing up to ff! I find it the easiest to read of all fertility apps :)

As weird as this sounds I'm not that upset that we didn't get another attempt in. I feel nothing but relief that what's done is done and this was the last time I have to do all this (testing, forced bding, checking cm and cp). I am surprisingly still happy with my attempts and still think I have a good shot of a bfp if I get my temp spike tomorrow. This is how I know I'm ready to move on from ttc and I'm so happy to feel this way!!!

The test line on my OPK seems to have faded a little more...still there, but not as dark. Think I'll stop obsessing now :) I've been worrying...what if I have cysts & it's going to be harder to get pregnant. Never had issues before. Those darn what ifs!!!

AFM-I'm having strong cramps in my right side. I need a heating pad ugh. I typically have O pains, but these seem to be worse. Doesn't sound like pcos, but maybe just an ovarian cyst? I remember my obgyn pointing out a cyst on an ultrasound last pregnancy, but he said it was normal. Maybe one has ruptured? Ohh my typical anxiety is kicking in!!

That's a typical O for me. Pains like I'm about to get my AF - actually worse because I barely get any AF pain. Lasts about 2-3 hours and I have to take painkillers, then bam! It goes away and I know my egg popped right at the end. It's like a terrible pressure build up then relief. Maybe it's O time now ladies? Another attempt couldn't hurt if you are swaying blue!

Lolabelle - I had a ruptured cyst last year and I couldn't walk or stand....I was so unwell. I needed a D&C after it.

Skyblue & Pbn3 - I was in so much pain the day after I ovulated. I think it was a combo of too much BDing and O pains....

AFM - I've pulled a muscle in my stomach from coughing. My nausea is comforting, but it could be from being unwell. I think I have more visible veins under my arms and nipple changes...again, just searching.
Day 21 blood test showed that I did ovulate (knew that LOL). No HCG was detected, which was 6dpo. It wasn't picked up with my first on Day 21 either.
I am using FRER - nothing better! ;)

I'm Central Queensland coast and can hear the thunderstorm coming ahead or because of ex tropical cyclone Debbie getting closer. Have only gotten a breeze started last hour??ish, expecting some strong winds throughout the night (nothing gale force of course). Just hope after this that autumn is ready to begin. Oh really kc!! Gosh I've struggled big time this summer and usually I don't 'mind' the heat but I'm so over it and our last electricity bill was over $200 higher than the previous courtesy of all the air conditioning 😂😂 even though its been raining since Monday (on and off) I still need the air con at night and sometimes a ittle during the day. But we get very humid heat here too which doesn't help.

Had my ultrasound this morning. They measured my 3 biggest follicles on each ovary. They measured 16, 13, 12, 10, 10 and 6. What's funny is my 4 biggest ones are the same as my kids' ages!! Lol! I thought that was funny. Now I have to wait for them to call me with my lab results. Hopefully they'll call early.

Pbn, you crack me up - after shocks, lol!! Stay safe with the bad storm near you. We had really strong winds a few weeks ago. It knocked out the power in our state for like 2 million people for 4 days. Some people didn't have power for a whole week! Luckily, we only lost power for about an hour. It was crazy!

kc, I'm praying that everything is fine and you're just having an easy pregnancy. For me, my miscarriage pregnancies were full of symptoms! I had horrible morning sickness and lost 20lbs in 2 weeks each time. It was crazy! I know everyone is different though. FX you hear good news at your scan!

Ash, swaying pink can definitely delay O. It does for a lot of women. So don't be worried that it's taking so long to get a temp rise. :)

Mine are probably a bit inconsistent because I never do exact time but it's always between 6 and 7 but I do mine vaginal not oral so that shouldn't matter for me 😕

Lola, a lot of things can effect your temp. I always hold my thermometer in exactly the same spot under my tongue because that can also make a difference. I personally usually have lower temps because of my hypothyroidism. It causes lower body temps.

The doctors office just called and my estradiol dropped slightly from 200 to 197, so they're increasing my gonal-f a little and I have to go back again tomorrow for bloodwork and ultrasound again. I am thinking they're going to trigger me tomorrow. I'd really like to wait until Friday but my body seems to think that now is the time. 😠😒

Morning all! Well I've had a spike but not a large one. Lol Ash we really are twinning ths cycle!! Usually a temp over 36.70ish is a post o temp. I think it's all abit messed up because I took clomid later and clomid can cause higher temps. So I'm going to say I oed yesterday and wait for the crosshairs. Hoping to see a nice jump in temp tomorrow morning :)

I'm not sure when they'll have me do it. I forgot to ask her. I'll have to ask tomorrow as they are closed now. I got so thrown off by them increasing my dose and mystery numbers dropping a little, lol! I an planning on back to back iuis this cycle. I'm thinking they'll have me come in about 12 hours after trigger and then 36 hours after, but I'm not sure. I know they usually do iuis around 10am-noon. It'll be interesting to see what happens tomorrow!

Hi ladies!! I'm back from vacation (boooo) and going to try to go back and read all that I missed out on. Seems like there's a lot of good things happening - really hoping for some BFP's soon! Moma, Lola, ash, iwant4kids, sky and everyone else, fingers crossed!

I'm CD 23 today and still no O. My opk's seem to be getting lighter, but my temps are still low, so I haven't O'd. What does that even mean?? My OB did blood work to test for thyroid issues possibly causing my long cycles (last cycle was 60 days!!!), and it all came back in normal range. He said if I don't get pregnant this cycle, he will do a saline ultrasound to see what's going on. Has anyone done that??

Maxim, your ob can give you Provera to start your period sooner. I'd definitely start clomid. Unfortunately, there really isn't anything you can do at this point. Just sit back and wait for O to happen. Sorry, maxim!! :hugs:

Maxim I'm sorry but its as momamia said, it's a matter of waiting it out (ovulation) but I would start looking into your options for next cycle so you are ready to go (hopefully you won't need to as THIS will be your cycle 😉) then at least you're prepared and only have to work on dh :) Maybe just accept that you won't o until cd38'ish again and hopefully you'll be less stressed then o may surprise you by coming abit earlier. Take the Clomid! It's the only thing that helped me O earlier! Ever since I had DS3, my cycles were crazy long- 37 days, 45 days, 64 days, 92 days, 34days, you get the drift. Once I started Clomid, Bam! back to 26-29 days! You don't necessarily have to tell him about the Clomid [emoji6]. I never told my DH and probably never will!

Haha pbn-I think I am that crazy person who would lovvvve twins! Since I didn't have my twins the 1st time...I just had my boys 19 months apart instead lol. My cycles have been regular, so there's no way I could get my dr to prescribe it. As I write this-I'm hearing on tv that George Clooney & wife are having twins :)

In tapatalk to make signatures and links seen, you need to put them in the signature area in tapatalk. That is where I posted my signature so it is visible in both webview and tapatalk. If someone creates a signature or puts a link there in webview, you cannot see it in tapatalk.

Oh man, I really hope I get to trigger tomorrow. I'm having some serious ovary cramping/twinges and tmi but my boobs are so sore!!! The gonal-f makes me nauseous and gives me a constant headache too. No. I have to wait until after my blood work and ultrasound tomorrow. My biggest follicle needs to be at least 18 before they'll let me trigger. They are hoping that increasing my dose will give my follicles enough of a boost to get them to be big enough by tomorrow. Typically follicles grow ~2mm each day on fertility meds. From what I've read, the biggest follicle tends to absorb the most of the gonal-f, making it continually bigger than the rest. They tried to start me early enough to get multiple "lead follicles" this cycle. Seems like it mostly worked since I have way more than 1 follicle growing this cycle.

Haaa, just now reading these comments! I'm also terrified of twins, and they do run in my family (my oldest sister), so I'll probably end up with them. Although twin girls sound amazing in the long run, they terrify me in the short term! My girls are already 19 months apart and that was HARD!

Maxim-so I hadn't even though of taking it that way until the ladies mentioned it here. I had to research it on google lol. FF said to just insert the tip of the thermometer inside & take temp. Mine have been so low with oral temp, didn't seem right. Switched to vaginal from now on-it has been in the 98s-taking it at the same time I used to take it. However, FF recommended not to switch mid cycle so you don't disrupt interpretation of your chart-but oh well...doing it anyway!

When I bought my bbt therm. It never gave instructions saying you could use it vaginally so could be confusing lol but I just stick it in [emoji23] I'd say it probably doesn't matter as long as your consistent. But I just got my frer tests today yay! And Lola if you hold out till 9dpo we'd be testing on the same day because I know I won't be able to hold out any longer than 7

Just got off the phone with my RE's office. My follicles are slightly larger now: 18, 16, 14, 14, 12, and 8. My estradiol is 347! She said with my follicles at their current sizes, I have the potential for 4 mature eggs (3 of which are on my left ovary - aka the good one). I am going to trigger tonight at 7pm and go in for my first IUI at 11am tomorrow (Friday). Then I go in for my second IUI at 11am on Saturday. I'm so excited!!! With my estradiol level where it's at, I'd assume I only have 2 mature follciles but I know the trigger shot makes them mature more. We'll see what happens! FX I catch at least one!!

Ladies i just want to ask a question. Can sickness delay ovulation? Ive normally been O around cd16 i wasn't really monitoring this cycle but at cd 23 im still getting O pains and fertile CM I was under the assumption i had already O. Me and dh aren't ttc atm.

I have a really bad flu atm. Of all the things ds4 also broke his arm last night trying to run out of the bathroom. He has been a trooper so far for a 2 year old. Hes just in plaster and will have a follow up.

Thanks XX. Its quite a severe infection im thinking influenza which had me 3 days of on and off fever. Ive had to get nasal swabs due to my work so will know soon enough.

Ash your temp has gone up beautifully 😀 and you have a fabulous amount of attempts in! I really think you've got this and will be so excited to check your chart each morning!!!

Maxim I insert mine about a knuckle to index fingertip length. After a few temps you'll get used to it and you'll feel so much better knowing your temps will be accurate and not subject to things (open mouth breathing etc) orally temping can.

Lola I agree with momamia. Can you try putting Saturdays temp back in but select disregard?

Pbn3- I'm thinking I won't get the results until next week. When my doctor's office called to schedule my next appointment, they said they have not received the results from the lab. I will call back next Wednesday if I haven't heard anything by then. At least it's not as bad as having to wait until May for my gender scan!

Feelin better Skyblue. Just nasally and abit worn out.

I'm hoping my swab comes back clear for next week as I MUST get back to work. No more leave up my sleeve for time off.

There hasn't really been much more communication between me and my DH trying again. ATM its been crazy so Id rather wait til things are settled. Neither of us have booked in anytime soon for permanent birth control so i figure I still have access 😂

I was reading up on the Cyprus clinics for HT And their cycles were approx $9500 AUD. I think with meds, flights and accommodation it would be about $15-$20k. To be honest I would totally go down that road to guarantee the next be a girl but I know my DH would be more hesitant and it still requires us to find that money to start with. The process of HT does scare me abit however I have read through some diaries. I have been praying though for a small win somewhere to fund my dream 😂

Pbn-I tried disregarding Saturday's & looking at diff scenarios, but then it changes the chart to say I o'ed Tues instead of Sat. Pretty certain it was closer to Sat based on dark +OPK, cramps etc...I think my maybe temps were not accurate :(
