Turns out I had influenza A ugghh just gota hope I can get back to work next Wednesday.

All this serious sickness just keeps reminding how great it is for a girl sway 😂😂😂 ive been on strongs antibiotics though. Im not sure if Ive even ovulated yet I had some suspicion it may have been Thursday as I had really bad pains but im still getting O pains and fertile CM. Maybe I currently am O'ing. Oh well don't think that's enough to convince my DH 😂

I'm so nervous for my IUI today!! DH can't be there with me because he has to work. I just have to lay on the table and have a nurse shoot DH's sperm into me. So. Weird. I think it's amazing the lengths us women are willing to go to in order to get pregnant, lol! It's crazy! I hope I don't have too much cramping afterward.

I don't know what it is about today but I'm feeling so emotional. :sad: My anxiety is horrible!! I'm all over the place! Sometimes I'm excited, then I'm sad, then I'm freaking out, then I'm angry, then back to excited. Holy crap! I'm exhausted and it's only 10am!! Maybe it's grieving since this is my last cycle? I'm definitely still trying to come to terms with it. Sometimes I'm totally ok with it and then I get kind of sad. Nowhere near as sad as I used to, but just a little. I think it's more the thought of letting down DH. He wants a DD more than I do at this point in our journey. He'll be so sad if it doesn't work! He's been telling me that he's been having dreams of what she'll look like and holding her in his arms. UGH!! I'm so sad!!! I wish I could just do this for him!!! We're both so exhausted though. He's doing the same thing as me where sometimes he's fine with being done and other times he gets really sad about it. I definitely can't keep doing this though. It's too emotionally draining to continually have so much heartache. The roller coaster of getting excited at the beginning of each cycle and then complete devastation when af shows up again has taken it's toll on me. Sorry for all the whining. :worry:

So DH's sperm count was much lower this time, which makes sense given this is the 4th day in a row of ejaculating, and less than 24 hours since our last bd. Pre-wash his count was 48 million. Post-wash the count was 33 million. His motility was great at 80%! Hopefully 1 sperm will be able to do its freaking job!!!

Ash, this is my second cycle of iui. It's really inconvenient. I've read of women doing like 10 cycles of iui. I would never be able to do that!!! It's so time consuming. My doctors office was running 45mins behind schedule today!! Then after they finally took me back, I had to lay there for 20 mins after the iui. It seemed like forever!! I wish they would have told me when I got there that they were running behind. I would have gone pee and gotten a coffee from the Starbucks in the hospital, lol! Just one more iui tomorrow and then I never have to do it again!!! Yay!!

Ash I'm loving those jumps in temp on your chart. Looks like how my bfp chart in November started! Its the temps from 6dpo'ish onwards that count but I think sometimes the first few days temps can be promising which in your case it looks it to me!!

My chart looks very ordinary but this was first cycle taking clomid later so I know it messed with my temps abit... will have to see what happens over next few days but its hard to feel excited when it looks so crappy lol!

Yes, I'm sure. The threat of miscarriage is the exact reason I want to stop. I have no idea if I'll ever have a healthy pregnancy again. I definitely need to take a lot of time to focus on me and my kids. I've spent so much time, energy, and money ttc for the last 2 years. It's been the main focus of all of my thoughts and plans. I'm tired of it. We might NTNP eventually but I'm definitely not going to be opk testing, temping, or following any message boards. As much as I care about all of you ladies, it's just too hard to come on here and see all of the women who now have babies (sometimes more than 1) in the time I've been trying. It's just too emotionally draining for me. I have other things in my life that I want to accomplish and have put on hold while we've been ttc. I'm ready to actually finish those things. :) Now that my first iui is done, I'm feeling more at peace. I know that we've put everything into this cycle and have exhausted all of our options. If it doesn't happen this cycle, I'll be ok. We've also already decided that DH is getting a vasectomy at age 40. That's 5 years from now. What will be, will be. I'm done thinking about it.

I want4kids was there a line before you pulled apart the test? I can't tell if there's any pink in that line. Unfortunately you'll almost always see a line on these strips when they are exposed to air. It's whether they have colour or not that makes the difference. Can you get pics of your next frer intact? Fx!!!

Lola, my temps are low, not having much CM, opk's still negative. I'm already CD26 now. :( If it's status quo by Monday, I'm thinking to call my OB to see if they can induce AF to avoid another 60 day cycle. If I do that, they'll move forward with a saline ultrasound to see what's going on, and possibly rx clomid. Do you guys think I should wait out O this cycle knowing that it's again delayed, or should I go ahead and ask to induce AF?

Maxim I would bring on af and do a cycle with clomid if you to sway as pink as possible... but in saying that you're pretty close in your cycle when you oed last cycle... tough one 😐

Maxim - When I was in the middle of a long cycle but Ob bought on AF and gave me clomid. In saying that my friend has got pregnant everytime in long cycles.

AFM: sorry I haven't been keeping up well. I'm a teacher and we had our last week before holidays, so I'm super happy as I'm on a 2 week holiday now!!! YAY!

With my cycle....the day I marked as positive OPK, was maybe just off a complete positive, so maybe I ovulated 1-2 days after, right when I was in physical pain (sore everywhere) and had VERY high fevers. These fevers were disregarded by FF, which is why my O line is where it is. So maybe my O date was 2 days later, which would make me 9dpo.
I can see a line on this mornings FRER which is still intact. I'll try and get a photo. I don't 'feel' pregnant though...plus my temp is down today, so it could be a chemical. Time will tell. As I said if not, I get to stick around this thread as O day will be mid- April. Thanks for keeping me sane!

Maxim, I'd personally call my ob to bring on af. That way you can move on to the next cycle sooner. Obviously everyone is different, so do what makes you feel the most comfortable. :)

I'm not sure of the exact number, but between 40-60. Before I went on clomid I had 60 day cycles and my body would gear up to O many times a cycle. I have tried to attach a photo of one.

Iwant4kids-I see that 2nd line! See if you can snap a pic of the one still intact for us! Hope it's still just early and not a chemical! I just had my 1st chemical last cycle and it was so disappointing. Didn't get a BFP until 14dpo.

Maxim-I envy the clomid!! I would def give it a try!! Not sure about bringing on AF, but with your history of delayed O, may be a good idea.

Ash-looking good! You're right..I'll see if I can hold out until at least 10dpo better to wait.

I still have ride sided cramps-almost like the round ligament pain I had during pregnancy. I don't really have any other signs. This is really weird though...it has been about a month since I stopped nursing my youngest (it was only at night). I've been having that "milk letdown" feeling several times today, but no milk...just that uncomfortable feeling. Could that be an early sign...of course I want it to be haha, but probably my body just adjusting to not nursing after 2 years!!

Lola I feel like I'm SUPER tired and felt slight cramps today.... but I keep telling myself it's all in my head! With my 3rd I felt it in the boobs first but didn't realize I even was pregnant (we weren't actively trying) I was setting in church the day of af and thought man my boobs feel huge lol long behold we had boy #3!
And I got pregnant with boy#4 as soon as I started #3 on solids at 6 months!!

Momamia - I can totally imagine feeling like that. I struggled a lot with the worries during my first pregnancy and now I feel we waited too long to ttc second. I feel that even if/when I get a bfp, I will be scared everytime I will feel a cramp or go to the bathroom. I m a mess thinking about all this and honestly can't even talk to dh about it because I just feel that he won't understand.

I've always had a weak uterus I don't know if that's the right word but I've always had early contractions and had all my babies early even with a weekly progesterone shot and I know there's no way Implantation has taken place but I seriously feel like contractions are happening! Is that possible without being pregnant?? It's always hubby sperm that makes it happen even when I'm not pregnant and he does it I feel pressure when standing. It's crazy and I don't understand it

Well, I definitely started ovulating which is fantastic!!! I had a big temp jump this morning, much bigger than my last like 4 or 5 charts! I'm hoping that's a good sign!!! 😁😁😁

My body is still tricking me. Fertile CM one minute, AF pains the next. I had really bad pains wake me last night and they took my breath away for about 10 minutes then I was fine. Im organising an ultrasound to check for endometriosis or PID.

Right now my BBs are hot and tingly. I feel like I have OHSS, can you get it without meds? A quick google search seems unlikely.

Feeling better slowly. Ds4 is unfazed with his broken arm. The trick is keeping it dry during the shower 😂

I'm sorry you're having a rough time netti! I would think that endometriosis or PID is most likely. I don't think you can get OHSS without meds. I hope you can get in soon for an ultrasound! I'm glad DS4 is doing ok with his cast. :) They are amazingly resilient, aren't they?

Iwant4kids, I'm pretty sure smoked chicken is fine in pregnancy. Enjoy! :)

I'm about to leave for my 2nd iui. I'm going up with DH for him to make his "deposit," lmao! Then we're going to go shopping for a little while, kind of like a mini date, before the actual iui. They have to prep the sperm, which takes a few hours. FX!!!

Ladies, I know there's good news today and I'm so happy for everyone, but I'm feeling really down today (told you moma about the ups and downs lol). I'm really frustrated that my O is this delayed, mad at myself for waiting this long to try for #3 (I'm having a hard time sleeping the last few months as I keep kicking myself for not starting this journey last year, it's literally all that I think about), and most of all getting anxious every day that goes by because it means there will be an even larger age gap between my two girls and a 3rd (if I'm lucky enough to get pg). As it is, my daughters just turned 5 & 7 and will be 6 & 8 when another arrives. I know that's not THAT large, but there's no chance that I can get DH onboard for a 4th and being that my two girls are 19 months apart and inseparable, I hope that doesn't increase the chances of a 3rd being like an only child and being left out. This whole journey is exciting and I'm really trying to go with the flow, but part of me also wonders if it just hasn't happened yet because it's not meant to be for my family for all of the reasons above. I don't know, just wanting to vent...most of my family and friends don't know we are TTC and certainly wouldn't understand.

Maxim-sorry you are feeling down! I'm only on my 3rd cycle ttc, but I just thought it would be easier like my past...so I'm thinking what if I had started sooner too. Hindsight is always 20/20. I wouldn't have been able to start sooner though b/c AF hadn't returned yet due to BFing. I had always hoped for twins, but then after I had singletons I thought at least I won't have an empty nest at the same time. So with an age gap, at least you wouldn't have an empty nest right away. Some parents get excited about that, I think I will be super sad when they go off to college. I bet your girls will be at the age where they love having a baby sister to help out with & treat like their very own real life doll baby!!! They'll be like little mamas :) My brother and I are 7 years apart and I was definitely a little mama to him! When I was driving age, I drove him to school, sports or just out & about with me. I loved picking out clothes for him & helping him with HW. Now that we're grown, he is a great friend and don't even feel the age difference. He will tell everyone in a heartbeat that I was like a 2nd mama. He is married and has a baby girl now & such a wonderful daddy! Don't let the age gap worry you!! Fx for you & big HUGS!!!!

Max I def have ups and downs also your not alone!! Our age gap is about the same between my first two and my second two. And my first is always playing and caring for my third (most of the time) and I also have two brothers were each 5years apart and I'm closer with my youngest brother who is 10years younger than me! It'll be ok but also if you talk hubby into another lol we have two ages 9 and 7 and then our second round ages 3amd 2

Maxim, I know exactly how you're feeling. Those are the same thoughts I've had a million times!! Our youngest will be 11 years old by the time the next one might be born. Our oldest is 16 and the next would be 14. But there is a big age difference between me and my siblings. My oldest sister is 10 years older, next sister is 6 years old, younger sister is 2 years younger, and two little brothers are 8 and 10 years younger than me. I'm the closest with my youngest brother. I took care of both of my brothers when they were growing up but may youngest brother and I definitely are the most similar. The age gaps really don't make a difference for them at all! :) My husband's brother and sister are 16 years apart and they are extremely close!! Please don't worry about the ages. Just follow your heart. If it's telling you that one more baby is out there for you, then go for it!! :) Personally, my ds4 is the closest to me. I don't know if it's because he was home with just me for the most part or what, but he's like a best friend friend for me, lol! He loves doing anything with me. The older two are more independent and do their own thing. I love having him by me doing everything together. I think you'll definitely have that was a 3rd baby. :) :hugs: I know it sucks when you're feeling down.

Ok, so my iui went really well! Dh's numbers were 73mil pre-wash, 35mil post-wash and 80% motility! I have to start my progesterone on Wednesday and take my next HCG shot on Thursday. Then I can start testing out the trigger again. They told me not to come back for beta hcg testing until 4/19!! OMG! That's so far away!!!! UGH!!! Also, I'm going to start a new thread since we've passed 50 pages. :) I'll post the link here.
