Oh wow, you make weighted blankets too! How much do you charge? I was trying to make one for DS3, but my stupid sewing machine broke a month or so ago and I am just too dang tired to see if I can fix it or get another one. That is soo cool. And Pbn3 - weighted blankets are just as they sound. They have weight pellets (like in bean bags) that help the person under it feel *hugged*. It is normally used for Autistic children or people with sensory issues. My DS3 is a sensory seeker meaning he craves touch. He is always on a lap or right next to someone. I am hoping a lap blanket will help him in school when he will not get as much touch as he does at home.

I made one for myself pbn and I can only use it every so often I get to hot. But I have a friend who got me started on them and she hadn't slept all night in 10 years until she got hers I was pretty amazed

Wow Ash that seems a very low price?? I would've thought the materials alone would cost more than that let alone the hours and possibly days you must put into making them??? So DH is really excited! Like he keeps hugging me and telling me he's very excited. That's the good news. But, I don't feel anything?? I know I'm *just* pregnant, but last pregnancy I was nauseous the minute I peed on a stick. Anyone with multiple kids feel like every pregnancy is different? My second was just much worse than my first so I was excepting this one to be bad. AND I did have a chemical before my second so that's obviously looming in my head [emoji85]

Every pregnancy has had various levels of sickness. I've been fortunate not to be sick more than a handful of days this time, and then this morning I randomly dry heaved. So weird.

Kat- this pregnancy started out as twins [emoji15], and I didn't feel pregnant at all until 6w3d! Then BAM! Super sick- I'm talking ALL. DAY. SICK. Puking at least once, eating didn't help, carbs didn't help, protein made me puke 7 times in one day, and meds didn't help [emoji26]!! It lasted until week 17, and I still feel nauseous at least once per day!

Enjoy these moments! It will come! Brace yourself and for the love of all that is good in the world- eat lots while you can! I lost 11lbs and didn't start to gain weight until week 18! I only have gained 11lbs now despite looking HUGE, haha!

Srg I've been super (worryingly) lucky. I get mild nausea late at night and early morning but that's it..... I certainly don't want to feel super sick like these poor ladies in here but it would be somewhat comforting to have nausea more often...

I had an early scan at the hospital, 10 weeks by my calculations but they said I was 11+5 (I disagree as I know when my one attempt was to the minute!) so I have two blurry scans.

When I'm up to it I'll post pics for opinions! Scheduled 12 week scan is next Friday so hoping for more.

My vomiting was hitting over 100 episodes a day, so I've needed an IV. after a range of meds I seem to be on one that is now working (for now, everything is crossed!). Fx for anyone wth nausea/vomiting it's the worst x

11+5 is too early for nub guessing but you may get some in any case :) (cant believe you're measuring nearly 2 weeks ahead already!! Were you charting or using opks? Generally conception can take up to 3 days after pos opk (depending when the egg released) so if you dtd at pos opk then you'd still be measuring a little over a week ahead! Wow!

As most of you know, I JUST got a BFP this week at 9/10dpo & now I'm so excited (but cautious) to join all my friends here yay! [emoji322][emoji322] DD twinsies with Kat & Sky as we all have the same Feb 12th dd [emoji173] It's starting to sink in that this is real & now I'm thinking about all of the logistics. How will I fit 3 in my car? The boys each have a bedroom & then a playroom...hmm, will we move the boys into the same room? Then there's the cost of 3 in daycare...$$ adds up. These are the best types of problems to have...couldn't be more excited to figure it all out as we go!

I didn't have this type of MS that lasted all day or that wasn't made better by eating. I still can't eat more than 1800-1900 calories per day without feeling like I'm going to puke!

It was more that it was completely different from my boys. Plus, I don't have a ravenous appetite like I did with them. I would literally watch the clock for my next meal/snack with them, haha!

Kat-yes, I'll have a scheduled c-section a week early & I was already looking at dates! It's funny b/c I did say to DH that 2/8/18 has a nice ring to it haha! How awesome would it be if you have your boy while I have my girl?!!! I always have mine 1st thing in the morning seeing as I can never sleep the night before! I have never been in labor before & always worry I'll go into labor before my scheduled date, so I'll see what my ob says.

Kat I don't think they do the materni21 until 10weeks ☹️ booo.... so I'll have to wait a couple more if that's the case. I have two bedrooms in the basement right now the older two share one and we have the other a play room but they're scardy cats and don't want to split down there yet [emoji23] we have enough space to add one more bedroom with an escape window but we will still have to have a couple sharing until we do away with the play room or until they're not scared to stay in their own room downstairs lol.
I have little babies also! But always go into labor early! I'm thinking a New Years baby would be my goal if I can hold him/her in until then. Funny thing my mil knows about us having another and I think she is more anxious to tell ppl than we are [emoji177] she was saying tonight "she will either be a princess or mean as dirt to keep up with all these boys" glad she's referring to baby as she hehe

Lola - We always get the genetic testing done so if the gender part is offered for free since I'm [emoji1411] then we'll probably get it. I'm dying to know, but scared to be disappointed [emoji51] Part of me is like give me the longest time possible to think this is a boy.

Sky - I'm waiting to call until Wednesday/Thursday to make my appointment. Just want to be a little further along before I call and know it's not a chemical. However, my lines are getting darker and I'm feeling more pregnant. But, I'm thinking they'll see me the week of the 26th.

Ash - I'm not sure what we'll do room wise either. We have 4 bedrooms, so right now they have separate (really cute [emoji7]) bedrooms and the 4th is a guest room. Our guest room is hardly used, more so used by my or DH if someone is sick or if he's snoring too loud. I'm thinking we'll make it the nursery/guest room and then make 2 of the 3 share down the road depending on gender and who sleeps best. My oldest (6) is super scared and sleeps in the floor in a sleeping bag most nights. We are going to try to work on that soon [emoji51]

Kat-I know exactly what you mean!! I would love to believe this is a girl, but I think the longer I believe, the more disappointed I'll be...as sad as that sounds...so I need to know now!!! I also want to know gender as soon as possible so that when I share the news with fam, I'll have some control when I tell them. I'm aiming to have my 1st appt on July 3 if they're open that day. I'd love to tell fam on July 4th, BUT I won't know gender then ugh, so I think I'll keep the secret going longer...Since you have a guest room, sounds like you have the perfect space! You could leave the bed in there with the crib & find a comforter/duvet that matches whichever theme you go with. It'll be a boy theme of course [emoji170][emoji12] My boy's rooms are so cute that I hate to change them ugh...one has a car theme & one has a nautical theme. DS1 sleeps in a queen bed, so we make that the guest room when we have visitors & he sleeps with us. So get this, when we first moved here, DS2's room was pink....I thought ohhhh maybe this could be baby #3's pink room, BUT I knew if I didn't paint it a neutral color immediately, I'd have another boy lol.

Yes my appointment is in 5 days eeekkk.... I will get the scan at my appointment I'm so excited! Baby should look like a cute little gummy bear by then[emoji4] my back is getting better slowly but I can move around much better today thankfully
Kat ds3 has a seizure last year on Memorial Day and we didn't want to leave him alone so we bought another twin bed and pushed it up against ours and made him sleep in our room for about 7 months to ensure no more and we could have peace of mind. But luckily he is back in his room he's a smart little one though and knows when his dad is out of town he can sneak in bed with me lol.
Lola that's a super cute pink color that was in there I like it! We have a nautical room for our baby Jonah and I love it. I'm also on the fence on when to tell everyone if I wait for the gender results that could be 12 weeks so another whole 4 weeks of a secret and I don't want to keep it that long because I want to enjoy this pregnancy but then again I do want to keep it so I have control of the situation I guess I'll decide Friday what I want to do. If it's twins then I'm sure I won't wait but if single I'll be undecided

Ash-that's exactly what I was thinking! If it's by some miracle twins, there would be no way I could hold that in! For now, praying it's a healthy bean...then will be ecstatic if it's a girl. I thought the pink was really cute, but I knew I had to paint it as a part of the process lol. A while ago, I told my mom that I wanted a 3rd & that I wouldn't tell anyone until I knew gender. She said "even me." I tell her pretty much everything. I said "well as long as you don't say "you know it could be a boy." She agreed so I told her recently when I found out. She seemed excited, but I could feel that "you know it could be a boy" vibe even though she didn't say it haha...maybe it's just in my head. So *WHEN*(thinking positive as a part of the process lol) I hear girl, I think that would have a more positive effect when telling family

Ash/Lola - WAIT! Y'all are considering not even announcing you are pregnant until you know if it's a boy or girl?? How far along would you be? I'm impressed. I'm trying to wait until scan/8 weeks to tell my family and then 12 for the world (including work). But, I might tell my boss after the scan at 8 weeks bc she has me on that trip to Miami in November which I'm scared to go on. And just ask her to keep quiet until I'm comfortable. Artisam I will be 8 weeks tomorrow. And I do have a food baby! I've gained 7lbs but not showing.
Kat we have told our parents and that's all I have planned to wait until I find out gender but I'm getting impatient so we will see what my scan looks like Friday and decide then if we want to tell. I think it makes it easier not telling anyone since I have all you to spill it to [emoji23]. But I have been on the loosing end with weight for a while and running a lot but since pregnancy I've not been running as much and have gained so it's only a matter of time before anyone notices. I don't think I will get the results from the gender test until 11/12 weeks so I'm sure I'll be showing by then since this is my 5th pregnancy. I'm just going to play it by ear and see what happens! I honestly hate to say this but I do feel like this one is a girl for some reason. I'm scared to feel this way (and won't tell anyone else but y'all and dh because I don't want anyone to think I'll be upset if it's a boy. It scared the day lights out of me to think I can potentially have a girl since I have no idea how to care for one....maybe that's y I feel this is a girl. Sky most doctors calculate weeks a due date from last period. Like mine started April 10th. So I'm counting from there. And I hear ya on the weight I'm on the larger side also (168 right now) and can gain weight if I say the word cookie [emoji514] so annoying!

Ash!! Don't get down on weight. I would expect you to be showing, it's your fifth child. I told you on my 2nd pregnancy I gained 15 by week 15 [emoji51] Anyways, I think your having a girl and I'll give you any advice you want [emoji7] I however think I might be having a boy, BUT it's just bc I did stuff so different this time. Kat-I'm also going to see how it goes, but my plan is to wait until I know gender...which may be 10/11/12 weeks. Luckily I'm out for the summer for my job so I can go to all of my appts & no one will know or see my bump until we go back in August! It may be more of a challenge to keep it under wraps with my fam. My fam adores my boys, but feels like I already have my hands full & don't need anymore. Then there was that random comment from my brother "you know you can't pick the gender of your baby." I haven't talked to him about swaying or really anyone that we're ttc...they just often ask if we want more. I feel like my family will just laugh at me if it's another boy...so I really want to know to avoid the comments while waiting to hear!! Kat-for my previous pregnancies at the same OB office, they wouldn't see me until 8 weeks when they're able to confirm a viable pregnancy. I've already been thinking about when I should call. I had the cervical U/S scheduled to see why I wasn't getting pregnant scheduled for June 8th, so I'll need to call to cancel it. I thought about going in b/c I can't wait to see, but I know it's too early to see anything, so I'll just cancel and schedule my 1st appt. Maybe I'll call Wed also & maybe they'll let me go in the week of June 26 since the next week is a holiday week!! The appts are usually 8, 12, 16, 20 weeks etc. 8 weeks seems like SO far!! When did you say you were planning to tell family? I don't blame you for wanting to tell your boss early so you can avoid Miami!!

Hi ladies - Scan went well. Heart rate was a healthy 160. The doc gave me an anti-nausea med called Diclegis. So I'm giving that a try and we'll go from there. Our Panorama test for genetic mutations and gender will be on June 20th. Also my due date was reset to Jan 19.

Sky - I saw y'all are both going on the 30th. Hope you like your new OB! Also, my OB said for me to continue the folic acid and make sure I take DHA too with my multi vitamin. That's why I gave up writing grocery lists! Instead, I write them on phone! With my DS3, I was Mrs. Space Cadet! One time, I was frantically looking around the house for my car keys, when my DS1 came up and showed me I had them in my hand [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]! I also locked myself out of the house too many times to count! One more- I forgot that I was heating up a tortilla for a late lunch after putting my DS2 down for a nap. The fire alarm went off, I threw the griddle with the flaming wrap into the sink with running water to put out the flames! However, I forgot to reheat the grilled chicken! Luckily my DS2 could literally sleep through a hurricane- he didn't wake up! So I decided a safer lunch would be a bowl of cereal, until my DS1 found the cereal box was in the fridge and the milk was in the pantry! We worked out it had been there for 3-4 hours by the time he found it after school! Yeah, luckily we all survived 🤣🤣!!

Srg. It's more like a little man. My daughter US at 10 week was showing fully small baby with features. I hope this is your boy because boys take time for everything as compare to girls who are believed to be more active.

Hey Kat, so I took one pill of 10mg at 11am and by 1pm I was narcoleptic! Granted the recommendation is to start by taking 2 at bedtime only and to only increase to a morning pill if the nausea is still severe. Then increase again to an afternoon pill from there if the morning doesn't cut it.

I also found the medication bottle the doc gave me during my last pregnancy (9 years ago! [emoji51]) and it was Zofran. I only took it a few times though because the headaches I got from it were outrageous. Hence the full bottle still in my medicine cabinet.

Dreaming-glad the meds are helping and I'm sure you will get it regulated once you start taking it t night. I've taken zofran for nausea (not MS) and while it worked wonders, I do remember the pounding headaches as you mentioned!
Ash-maybe all of these games will get you through the week a little quicker to get to your appt!!!!!

Hi ladies, I've been entirely awol again. The sickness is destroying my spirit a tiny bit, and making me entirely disinclined to do much of anything really. It know it'll pass, and it'll be worth it, but I'm just so tired of feeling (and looking, thanks acne!) so crappy.

I'm 9+4 now so I'm hanging all hopes on starting to feel relatively normal in the next few weeks.

In less whiny news, I have my 12 week scan booked so I'm looking forward to seeing the little monkey destroying my body again :D

I didnot sway this time. Had a one time deal and just my luck ended up with a BFP.

I have 3 girls. I swayed only for my 3rd and it failed. Was devastated. Finally got over the gender disappointment a year later only to find myself in this new predicament.

Kat-DH got us a family gym membership, but I haven't used it yet oops! Maybe more this summer, but really not that motivated. I just stay active playing with my boys outside at the park, the pool etc.

I'm working out! An hour on the bike every other day and jogging about 5 mikes on then non-biking days. It takes monumental effort to do it, but I get up and go straight to working out. It helps that I don't have morning sickness at all.

That is impressive srg!! I'm aiming for 3/4 days a week. I was hard cardio and weights before my sway but dropped my 6 mile runs to 3/4 so I'll just try to stay status quo. Lots of the weight classes I go to have some cardio though. I'm going to try to tone it down a little until I see this baby though! Still a tad nervous about a chemical - just feel like it's too good to be true. But, not so nervous that I'm meeting a friend to buy her maternity clothes on Friday 🤣 I sold all mine when my 2nd was 2 months old thinking we were done - ugh!!

Yes i found out gender with my 3 girls at 20 weeks each. In fact i knew even before the tech.
This time i am afraid i will go stir crazy depressed if i hear girl. I am already depressed about having to manage 4 kids with my crazy life. So i am hoping by delivery time i would have at least be done and over with this depression and then i will tackle the next phase of depression if it is my 4th girl.

Kat I'm not working out at all but I get to use rhe excuse my ob said no strenuous exercise and because I never used to exercise getting up is strenuous to me (joking) 😂😂 I do have a dvd of a yoga/pliates/tai chi class I'm looking forward to starting hopefully by the weekend 😀 its from a class I used to do when I was right into fitness before falling pregnant with ds2.

Lola that's awesome having a gym membership! Do theydo group fitness classes there? The ones I used to go to actually catered for pregnant women in the same class as in they advised a different move when need be. Loved them classes!

Srg you sound like my sister who runs almost every morning and then competes or runs on weekends 😝 she has the most gorgeous figure and I have always wished I had her passion for running. They say you get addicted to the 'feeling' which is true in her case but I've never felt anything other than 'is it over yet?' 😂 So jealous of you being so active!!! In regards to tingling bbs don't remember that but they are still terribly sore and have been from bfp it seems like! Plus they are humongous or have gone from 3 month old deflated balloon to newly inflated balloon more accurately 😂 I'm already back into wearing my maternity bras 😩 a lovely cup size E

These strong smells are getting to me ugh! My poor DS2 had a tummy ache today needing about 4 pull-up changes in a row...it leaked through his shorts onto my shirt when carrying him...ugh the smell wouldn't go away! We were on a little day trip to the beach and serpentarium, so luckily had a shirt to change into, but still smelled it the whole way home blehh!! We went to this coolest place with alligators, turtles & snakes....boys loved it...but have to say...I have this reoccurring nightmare often when I'm pregnant....snakes are chasing me...so hope I'm not going to trigger this nightmare. Couldn't believe that they had open exhibits where there were at least 100 snakes on logs, trees, water etc...tall enough wall where they couldn't get out, but not behind glass ewww lol

I am missing coffee soooo much!!! Luckily my moconna brand decaf and cafe decaf is not too bad but I never imagined I would miss it this much 😮 I feel like I could sit in a coffee house/cafe just to breathe in the smell all day 😂 I went to decaf off my own bat and plan to for the rest of the 1st trimester but I'm going to ask my ob if she thinks its ok to reintroduce in the 2nd tri.....can't believe I never had to worry about this when pregnant with the boys! I think I likely drank more than the recommended amount 😕
Anyway thought I'd share that riveting titbit with you all 😂😂

You know I never liked vegetable named momordica charantia but with this pregnancy a week before I was getting emotional that today I just wanna eat that. My husband was laughing on me but I cooked and ate then got satisfied. That was amazing feeling of taste when I was eating like it's most tasty dish I ever ate ;)

Pbn - nausea is very very mild and only at certain points of the day!! I'll be soooooo happy if it stays this way, but also concerned something's wrong 🤣 However, I'm only 4 weeks 4 days so definitely could get worse. I really wonder if it was so bad with my last pregnancy bc I did progesterone suppositories - that's what I'm hoping. My body is super sensitive to hormones, birth control makes me nauseous. Kat why did you have to take progesterone? Do you have to take it this time? I had to take shots in to butt alternating sides every week from week 16-36 [emoji37] to decrease my chance of early labor. painful! And I know they're going to try to push it this time also but I just don't know if i want to go for it or not. It'll depend a lot on if it's a girl or boy

Hi everyone. Couldn't read the updates because we have a crazy schedule these days. Classes and more classes. Some days I don't even feel pregnant and some are just bleh. Today is one of those days. Ate breakfast and started feeling like crap. The worse thing is tingling feet. I was so scared to even drive. I did a lot walking and stomping before sitting
In the car. Need to talk to OB about it at the appointment. I don't have ms but I feel nauseous. Didn't feel
Like this with dd. I have put in weight around my stomach area already. Was Hardly showing with dd until 7-8 months because I m already broad and heavy. dh also noticed that yesterday. I also feel uncomfortable for a minute sometimes longer after peeing. I wanted to mention all this and see if anyone else feels the same.
Sorry about the rant. I need to start losing weight or else this pregnancy isn't going to be easy. I have realized it. [emoji52][emoji52]
I promise to come bk after catching up. Off to cooking and then another class. I didn't know I would get pregnant before signing dd up. [emoji51][emoji51]

Ash - I was on it for piece of mind probably. I had had a chemical the cycle before so they checked P when I got pregnant again and just say normal level (totally making up numbers) is 8-15, I was at an 8 and my OB said it wasn't necessary but she'd prescribe it and like an idiot I took them until whatever week the placenta takes over. They are a pain and messy and I've read Atomic say they don't even help. But, I had a healthy (yet miserable bc so sick) pregnancy. I just always wondered if it was the P bc I got very nauseous the day or two after I started them which was right at 4.5 weeks.
So will you take shots if a boy but not a girl? I'm confused!

Sky - I don't have those. Just slightly nauseous here and tingly boobs!

Kat I will take them if it's a bit more than likely but not a girl. They say girls handle early birth way better than boys and I heard this from my ob office and nearly all the nurses in the ob ward. Since I have late early labor I think it'd be ok

Kat-those lines are beautiful!!! Do you have a lot of wondfo's left? I googled and it looks like the test line on the wondfos doesn't really get darker/equal to control until a little later 18-20dpo ish. I imagine I'll test until I run out lol. It's def a problem ��
Sky & Kat-my symptoms are sounding very similar to Kat's with tingly bb's and a little nauseous at times, but nothing major....also smells, fatigue & frequent urination. FX that MS doesn't hit us hard this time...typically starts at 6 weeks for me.

Pbn-- don't get too jealous of my body. This fifth baby body is already pooching out more than I'd like for 12 weeks. I usually have at least another month until thing start getting tough to hide, but... yikes. I just look chubby and not pregnant though. I still haven't made a big announcement yet other than to our immediate families.

Thankyou for asking Pbn. Yes thankfully it didn't happen again and I m feeing good about it. I havebn on the run lately and not sitting for longer intervals after reading about it on google.
You know with my dd my OB checked me for uti twice and it came out positive and I had to be on antibiotics. They gave me IV medicine while I was in labor so that dd would be safe if Vaginal but she chose a different route altogether [emoji12][emoji12][emoji12] and they didn't even check me a lot for dilation because of that. So, I think I m prone to minor uti when pregnant which is so strange. We aren't even bding because it gets worse after that. Poor dh. I m trying to drink a lot of water. It's fine for now but when it happens it's so uncomfortable. Sorry about a long post.

This is funny pbn [emoji23] sky uti sucks so bad! Every time I go in for preterm they put a dang straight cath up to check for Uti I always wonder why I can't just pee in a dang cup because I can clearly tell weather or not I have one from the uncomfortable pee feeling but they say they want "clean urine" whatever that means [emoji849].. hope you don't get them to bad this time around they're the worst

The funny thing is I didn't even feel anything both times when they prescribed antibiotics with dd. When it happened the second time, OB advised me not to wait for labor to progress and come as soon as it starts so that they can start on the IV meds.

Maybe I'll use it Monday when the house it relatively quiet again. I want to see the digi say 3+, so I need to look up when I should use it...
Sky-hope your uti goes away! There's someone here that I remember telling us a random cure for uti's. I can't remember who it was or the remedy...so that's helpful I know haha [emoji51], but I'll think on it!
