Hi Ttc-those are the FRRR that detect approx 50miU & a lot of people mistake them for the old style straight ones. BUT not to worry don't stress, this close to AF, you may be able to detect this amount!!! I do remember Sky using this type & getting a BFP early!!! Fx that you do too!!! Can't wait for your test :)

At this point I'm having so many things go on that I know I'm pregnant. A lot of people would say it's impossible, but after 2 kids, I know my pregnant body.
Pink spotting 6-7dpo
excessive cervical mucus (I didn't know this was an early sign until I looked it up, realizing I have way more than ever before)
faint/ dizzy feeling apon standing or climbing stairs
abdominal discomfort (mine is on the right)
bloating
Achy legs (this started today)
Bursts of energy
Phases of exhaustion
Always smelling something burning (okay so this isn't actually an early symptom, but after running around checking stove, lamps, TV wiring, etc... it dawned on me I always smelled something "burning" early on in my 2nd pregnancy too) :rofl:

It's driving me crazy that I can notice all these differences and yet my tests are coming up negative!

The only thing is Pbn once told me the days until af is irrelevant, it has to do with amount of hcg in your system, which increases by dpo, so days until af changes nothing.. I guess that's why some women will miss a period and still not have a positive test yet :/ my chart is telling me that if implantation was day of spotting, I should have approximately 20 hcg by tomorrow. But that does me no good if my tests only detect 50 lol.

I posted the pics ttc. I used the same as the one in your pic frrr. It's 7dpo pm. I would suggest you use it with fmu and it should be fine. My line did disappear the next morning. I also have one which was from a week later and was pretty dark.

Ttc-that's basically what I was thinking, the further the dpo, the closer to AF there would be more hcg, but I didn't take into account longer follicular phase. I don't quite remember, did you O a little later? If sky can get a positive at 7dpo with a FRRR, it sounds more sensitive than sites are saying. If you still have a curved frer, why not try them both [emoji12] You certainly have very promising signs & you know yourself so I can't wait to see a BFP-Fx so hard!! And funny the things our little ones say!! Hopefully, it's just b/c she wants another girl haha 🤣

Sky: Okay so even though the FRRR says use the day of missed period or any day after, in comparison to clear blue says you can use it 4 days before missed period.. you still think FRRR would be best? I'm not doubting you, just double checking because I don't know much about the early testing. :)

Lola: I o'day on CD13, unless it was early/ late because I don't temp, but my positive opk was cd12. And I only have FRRR and clear blue... I may or may not have used my last curved this morning..

11dpo, and I thought I had a very very faint line on the clear blue at 8dpo, which was 2 days after the spotting, but now I'm starting to doubt that because everything else is negative.

I thought I had a very faint line at 8dpo, but I've had all negative since, including with cb. Tomorrow is 11dpo.

I'm sorry ladies, I think I need a longer break. I'm racking my brain and becoming obsessed. I feel so strongly that I'm pregnant, but it's so discouraging seeing multiple negatives day after day and wondering why they won't even give me the faintest line. I thought you were supposed to get a positive 2-3 days after IB, but I've found that many women say they got negatives up until 5-7 days later, so I'm hoping that's what this is. I'm thinking I will just stop testing, stay off GD, and await af. I don't know what to think. Thank you all for your help and support the past several days. I'll check back in after I have a definitive answer in a few days.

Mommy - most surge between 2-4, so test sometime around then and at 7 too if you know you have a short surge. Shoot for a 2 hour hold, with sips the first hour and nothing the last hour if possible [emoji846]

Mommy- My RE told me that LH peaks from 11am-7pm. He said to test in the morning and in the evening, if using regular opks. I always followed with a CBD (pink cap ones) when my opks started to get dark to confirm the surge.

I think that should be fine, if that is working for you time wise. Just make sure you're in the 11am-7pm time frame. I only used the pink CBD when I thought I had a positive on a Wondfo or IC. I wanted to confirm it, plus the CBDs are too expensive to use all cycle long twice daily in my opinion!

Also, Clomid can effect opks. It can cause some people to not get a positive opk. Most still do, but that is why it is important to BD E3D or E4D.

I also used the cb pink one before actually starting ttc and then switched to the purple one. I would also suggest doing one in the afternoon between 12-2 based on my experience and once in the evening between 5:30-7:00. Again that was my experience. I will look at my old cycles and will try to give you the exact time of my pos solid smiley with pink ones if that helps. I also like the idea of switching to cb once the lines are darker on wondfo.

Max- start using opks at CD10. I found it best to start early rather than later.

Mommy- I like that schedule and don't forget to wean down to 1/8th teaspoon before tapering off.

LMSM- if you get CBDs to confirm O with ICs, get the pink capped ones. I bought a pack of 20 and only used them when I thought I got a positive on an IC. At most, I would use 3 per cycle. It's quite economical to use them this way (a box of 20 is $32-35). Do NOT use the advanced this way (purple capped ones)! They are meant to use all cycle long.

LMSM-It really helped me to use the cb digi to confirm O b/c my OPKs started off naturally dark & the smileys gave me the visual I needed! I did use the purple dual hormone ones & they are pricier. I liked that you used fmu & the blinking smiley gave me a heads up before the solid smiley. It always starts off with an empty circle. I agree with XX though, if you're only using a few to confirm O, the pink ones are good.

Hello everyone. I don't really think I should join in just yet, but I wanted to stop in and update.

I'm still having symptoms that I've only ever had before during pregnancy, and my tests are all still coming up completely negative. Today I am 13dpo, af day, and no signs in sight. Very unusual for me. I also noticed when checking the calendar, that I have always O'd exactly 12 days before the start of my next period. So maybe it's possible that I O'd a day later that I assumed since I don't temp (that would be my guess if AF does arrive today/tonight).

I also have wondered for months if one of my tubes may not be releasing an egg. Ive had scar tissue on my tubes since the age of 15. Since having the mirena removed, i have had ovulation pains every month. When the pains are on the right, I have positive OPKs for 2 days straight (am, pm, am, pm) and when the pains are on the left, they are not nearly as strong, don't last as long, and my OPKs are only positive for 24 hours. This cycle they were positive pm, and following am.

I'm really not sure what is going on, but at this point I would like to think that the crazy symptoms I'm experiencing are just some kind of hormonal imbalance. If AF has not arrived in a few days, my OB wants me to come in to rule out the possibility of an ectopic pregnancy. I guess scar tissue and mirena removal both increase the risks, and hcg isn't always high enough for a home pregnancy test to detect.

Ttc - I m so sorry that you are going through this. I know the limbo is the worse. I pray u get an answer soon. It's not crazy to feel the symptoms that you are feeling. Believe me we all do that each cycle. I would say it's just your first cycle of ttc. Give it sometime. My cycles have been perfect every month. I was charting for a few months with opks before ttc yet it took me 3 cycles to conceive. Also, may I suggest buying a bbt. It really takes the guess out of the whole ttc system since u can figure out when u O. I bought it in my 2nd cycle and I am so glad I did. Don't worry until u have to. I used to get bummed each cycle I won't conceive but I made a deal with myself to not freak out until I have had 5-6 cycle of trying. Each month I won't get a bfp, I thought that was my chance to improve my sway even more. Looking at the bright side helps. You are so young and 🤞 that you get your little blue bundle soon. Was it your husband that was only giving you two attempts per cycle? Temping won't help much as far as attempts but once you get your pos opk temping will confirm O.

I'm not so much concerned about not having conceived this month. It would be a bummer, and I would be very confused about the way I have been feeling lately, but it would be much better than having something wrong. I don't think my OB is actually expecting an ectopic pregnancy. She said they are very rare but it's best to get it checked just to be sure when you are experiencing symptoms similar. I didn't realize they were similar, but she said they are. I called their office because the pains on my right side are getting sharper and more painful. I've been running a fever since yesterday and feeling nauseous. I thought maybe I could have an infection because I've been having a lot of problems after they had to remove the mirena. But they seemed to think an infection would have followed more immediately after, and that's why they want to check everything out just to be sure.

I honestly don't even know if I want to do this anymore. It's just so emotionally and physically exhausting. I've never had to worry about infections or ectopic pregnancies before and every day I regret that damn mirena. It was the biggest mistake of my life. I wish I had the money to adopt a little boy. I don't know why it has to be so expensive to take in a child and give them a better life.

Ash: yes, dh doesn't want a baby, so we compromised at trying for 3 cycles, 2 attempts each cycle. I haven't told him I've been testing, or having weird symptoms, or that my ob wants me to come in. I'm afraid if he thinks something is wrong, he will just stop now and I won't have any chance at all for a 3rd child. So I feel very alone in all of this. :(

Thank you ladies. I don't know why, but i just feel like I'm burdening the group with my compulsive worthing. I see others post about how excited they are about their opks and hpts and i don't want to follow that with negative comments about something I'm going through that they shouldn't have to worry about. Thanks for the feedback on the CB digi opks– the only pink ones I found were actually going to be shipped from o/s so probs would not reach me on time for this cycle – but have found a dual hormone one on special at Amcal, $30 for a 10-test pack (instead of $40-50 – but still an investment : I paid like $15 for 100 ICs :rofl: ) – which is a decent price so will go grab some before picking up the girls this arvo and will start them at the end of the week and just do them in parallel to my ICs – and will see how we go ;)
One needs to use FMU for these ones (purple) I think? Gosh the amount of holding I will be doing between the FMU hold and the arvo hold for the ICs – gah! My bladder will hate me ! :rofl:

Thank you all. It really does mean so much to me that I can talk about my excitement, my freak outs and everything else. I can usually talk to my hubby about anything, but for the first time I feel I can't. Because we've always been able to compromise for each other but when it comes to disagreeing over having another child, one of us has to lose. I'm not upset at all the af is here. I'm very relieved. I honestly thought something was wrong. Maybe not "ectopic wrong" bit hearing those words really freaked me out. I'm just so happy the freaking out can end and I can give 100% for the next 2 weeks and have an even greater 2nd attempt. :)

Nacire & mommy- I totally get it. Although I love the anticipation of awaiting others bfp, this is the only time I have ever tested early and I cannot handle it. Seeing negatives every day and not knowing whether you should believe what you're seeing vs what you're feeling, I don't like it. I will encourage others to do whichever they want, because some people do enjoy the excitement. So you said you're testing tomorrow right? Or are you waiting?

Do what feels right for you b/c I know what you mean...the BFNs are a real downer!! The squinters are enough to make anyone crazy...I had faint lines in 2 cycles and it was so frustrating! Lola: the squinters are the WORST.. I thought for sure I saw something on the first one and I really expected it to get darker. I thought maybe I was drinking too much before bed, or using the wrong test or something. It's just so hard to believe that all the stuff I felt wasnt the real thing. I'm down to 2 cycles.. if I dont catch the egg my heart will break. :( I don't know how to temp or chart or read a chart.. I have no idea. Also I don't know that temping really makes a difference for me, being limited on attempts each cycle. If I get a positive opk and use my two attempts and then my temps show o hasn't occurred yet.. I won't get to BD again anyway..
