Gafan thank you! I really hope I can somehow someday

https://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/35220bI know you will find peace, even if your dream is not fulfilled. It will take time, but what you wrote about embracing the family you have, and how much determination and persistence you showed in your sway, suggests to me that you are open to joy and will find peace.

STOP. That’s awful!! What an emotional roller coaster for you!!!!!!!! Do you think you have ovulated already? Seems like a temp spike today possibly?

Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkI think So? I barely got my positive test yesterday so I probably ovulated last night or this morning who knows

He's not coming! No idea what this guys problem was this time but found out he is 500 miles away! And he was such a good donor before...oh well we have been looking for new donors all weekend so I guess I'll hopefully be back next month with a new donor and better success [emoji53]

Hopeful omg!!! I didn't have your chart link after the phone debacle but just went in now through the link in your siggie. So wow [emoji50] that is a prime example of how an implantation dip should look and those temps following [emoji18][emoji108] My only reservation is the dip is at 5dpo which seems on the early side [emoji848] In any case when are you testing?!

Crazy hey!?
I also took it off my signature because I thought I had AF and my body was doing weird sh*%, so I didn’t want to confuse anyone.
Maybe I should discard that temp at 5dpo, I woke up on couch and My blanket had fallen off ! Was so freezing !
I think I’ll test at around 10/11dpo depending on my temps . [emoji51][emoji51][emoji51]

Good luck ladies, I just wanted to say I'm going to refrain from jumping on here this cycle, I'll still be temping and kinda following a diet but really need to take a super relaxed fun approach this month.

So no more googling, chart stalking or tww symptom checking for me [emoji23]!

https://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/474f80Strawberry you shouldn't be testing any earlier than 11am unless your using the dual hormone digis that require fmu. Testing between 1-3pm is the most common recommendation and if it looks close to pos you could test again in the evening between 7-8pm. I would be asking your donor for a delivery when you have a close to but not quite pos afternoon opk in case he cant deliver until that evening or the following day (which ideally would be pos opk)

https://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/474f80Well that would certainly cover you! I wonder if you should give the dual hormone digis a go. The advanced ones. Test with fmu only until flashing smiley then add another test in the evening so you catch the shift from flashing to solid smiley right at the start hopefully. May be with a go?

Have any of you experienced ovulation spotting? I had some pinkish-brown yesterday just for a wipe or two but no pos opk yet! No pains either like I usually do during o. I am pretty sure my temps don't indicate ovulation either. I read that you can spot right before or during o but I haven't had any thing otherwise to make me think I have or am ovulating. It's so confusing! Here is my chart overlay with last cycle 40143
No ewcm or anything yet

Also read this just a min ago about o spotting and made me feel a lil better at least about my hormones being in the right place

https://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/474f80This makes it really hard as we don't know how many flashing smileys you'll get before solid. I'm nearly inclined to say I'd probably just tee up the AI for the night of cd11 as it looks like you usually o cd12-13? Is that right? I can only see this and last cycles but from memory you usually o this early? At least your donor will have plenty of notice that way too..

I thought I o'd CD 13 or 14 always until I started temping and it looks more like 12-13! But yes positive opks are always CD 12 CD 13 never before never after

Also strawberry looking at your charts I can see I would add an attempt at cd14 in case you're in the minority of people that ovulate 3-4 days after pos opk. Do you think your donor would agree to supply a deposit both cd11 and 14?

Yea my temps REALLY don't indicate ovulation. Today's is even lower and my opk very light. I'm not sure my temp is accurate though bc I know I woke up at least one time bc my mouth was dry from sleeping with my mouth open! Argh! It's all frustrating but at least I have not missed the egg yet but I was hoping for a linker opk today for sure. 40149

But because I'm so irregular, it can surprise me early. ANYWHERE FROM CYCLE DAY 18 TO 23. I want to leave Sunday PM as the last bd because somewhere within the next 7 days I probably will get +. But it can be longer I guess too. How bad is 7 days abstinence before my one attempt? I also wouldn't J&D because he is on antidepressants too and if it causes a huge decrease I didn't want to lose chances of pg. WwYD? (Ttc girl)

[emoji848] no idea how to do this one attempt. It can become positive any day. So I want to just stop until the positive. But I don't want bad and deformed sperm. I want to get pg. Any tips?

Hi I think this a good question for atomic. I did just read that right now 2 attempts vs 1 has recently been very similar (like 68 to 69 percent girl), so maybe worth asking atomic? I would probably DTD before now and Sunday but that’s just me! Ask a pro!❤️

Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkMany people do e4d so I didn't want to do less than that. I was just concerned about doing Thursday in case Friday i get +opk. As it is, every cycle I ovulate one day after my day of first af. If I get af on Tuesday, Wednesday I O. I know it makes no sense, but looking back many cycles it's the same... so I figured it would be next Tuesday that I O, but what if I'm wrong. Really I want to just decide something and stick with it. If I don't get a response, I will dtd Thursday. And if I O early, i will figure it out then. Cuz last thing I want to do is stress about it.

Hi pbn
I've been busy and away from the whole ttc and tracking for a few weeks. I'm not temping this cycle and have gone easy on the diet and exercise. It's been helping me stay relaxed and sleep better :)
So anyway I took a random opk test the first time this cycle and it turned out to be my blazing positive on CD -16 which is today. I usually ovulate on 21, but recently included whole dairy and eggs as per atomic and I guess now I'm likely to ovulate tomorrow.

So the question is to BD tonight or tonight and tomorrow? What are the results with 2 attempts? I just really hope I get pregnant soon.
Hope all is well with you.

Mom25boys did you start a thread for atomic? FX you get it sorted!

Heartdesires, atomic just wrote this on another thread: "2 attempts has been barely worse than one attempt of late (I think it's 68 vs. 69% now) " so sounds super close!

AAAAA OK NONONONO out of context

Guys, this DOES NOT mean you should START OFF with 2 attempts very early on. Start off with one attempt. Do one attempt for at least 1-2 months *unless you can't get OPK to work for you or you have a limited time to TTC or are 40+*

THEN go to e4d and do that for 1-2 months. (and if you don't want to do a classic e4d that starts right after AF ends, right away, that's fine, do one attempt at pos OPK and then e4d the rest of the month)

Then go to e4d plus one. Do that another 1-2 months or even longer (because you WILL get pregnant that way eventually)

And if you can't stand to stick with e4d plus one, you can go to SMEP eventually.

I DO NOT WANT anyone to go "hmm 68% that's the same as 69% so I'll just do 2 attempts to start with." Because we know based on historic results that 2 attempts has been lower than one attempt.

BUT NOR do I want people to go on and on for a thousand months doing one attempt when it is time for them to go to e4d. We can tell based on 68% vs. 69% that two attempts PLUS an otherwise good sway simply cannot be a dealbreaker. That is my point of mentioning those statistics. After 1-2-3 months with one attempt, you MUST go to e4d and the odds ahve been acceptible that way, but that doesn't mean that I now think two attempts is just as good as one to start out with. Remember that the statistics of people who are doing 2 attempts are those who have been on diet/exercise longer and who have possibly lower fertility - both of these things may sway pink and skew results to make 2 attempts look more successful than it would be for someone who is just starting off with swaying!

People who have tried one attempt and have not gotten pregnant please go to e4d and then e4d plus one. The results have shown taht it is not a dealbreaker. But also, ladies, please start off with one attempt and give that a good try before you go to e4d. :)

How long have you been TTC??

At 29 I would likely still give it another month on one attempt. But if you've been TTC longer than 3 months AND if those have been relatively realistic attempts (aka no 5 day cutoffs and stuff along those lines) I'd have you go to two.

And ladies, a reminder, I cannot keep up on these support threads. I just happened to see this come in. I am happy to answer any questions but I need you guys to start dedicated threads in the forums. Please don't worry about bothering me because in the long run it bothers me a lot more if 20 people have a misunderstanding and then I hve to chase down that misinformation in every thread it gets posted in.

This stuff is SUPER complicated and totally easy for things to be misunderstood and read without a context of the original thread. I'm here to answer your questions so please hit me up!

There are always bad and deformed sperm.

I would not do 7 days abstain + antidepressants. Just doesn't feel like a good chance of conception, risks aside. Can he clean the pipes now and resume abstaining?

How’s everyone going? Where are you up to? Anyone in 2ww?

After the crazy cycle of last month , My AF arrived on Wednesday with a vengeance! So went and saw my specialist today who’s started me on Femara, had whole heap of bloods done, and go back in a week for an U/S and the possibility of a trigger shot. [emoji33]
So now I’m toying with the idea of giving up temps for month [emoji6]🤣

Hi all. I didnt think I would be here again so soon especially as DS3 is only 10months & we are in the process of organising IVF with PGD. :omg: But I think we have had a little Whoops. :nails:

We had 2 failed sways which resulted in a miscarriage & DS3 who I just love to bits despite being very sad throughout his pregnancy after the miscarriage & experiencing some GD along the way. I was/am still keen on another baby & have been slowly getting hubby on board - he hasnt said yes but he isnt saying no quite so vigourously either. DS1 has autism & DS3 is also showing some early signs so having a girl is definitely the key to reducing our risk any further. I have even been talking to fertility clinics about the possibility of IVF next year.

Our risk of pregnancy is low but I am having those oh so familiar symptoms. I havent been brave enough to tell hubby yet. Im freaking out at the thought of having 2 kids 18months apart.

My period still hasnt returned yet, Im still breastfeeding a lot day & night & hubby didnt finish & withdrew so I know the risk of pregnancy is so very very low but I cant help this very familiar feeling. tomorrow will be 12 days since we BD so I am going to pee on a stick & hope for the best.

Antihistamines have not seemed to add anything to our success rate and cut odds of conception. I sometimes have people start off with them but are among the first things we drop

J and D did seem to add a little something in stats. I am not sure if it's a legit finding or statistical quirk but until it's proven otherwise I do like you guys to start off doing it after 5 minutes and then gradually extend

yes continue exercise and diet in the 2ww.

Hi ladies
I think I'm officially in the 2ww... . I'm not temping this cycle. I decided not to do opks either and stick to relatively stress free E4D. But interestingly the two strategies coincided.
We BDed last Sat and next scheduled BD was Wed. I randomly took my first opk test on Wed (CD 16) afternoon and it was a blazing pos with wondfo and CB. So we BDed as planned. Opk turned negative the next day and FF says I ovulated on CD 17. I'm only 1 dpo now. Since I ditched opks, a strange tranquil has set over me. I'm not obsessed with TTC material, I'm more relaxed, I check in here only once in 2 days, and I have no 2ww expectations about pregnant vs not pregnant at this point.
Good luck and baby dust to all. I'm rooting for all you girls here. Fx, and wish you all happiness and good health!!!

Well today is cd26 and finally got my +opk! We did hurry up fr as our last bd was Monday and we were going for e7d initially. The diet is getting increasingly hard to stay with and so I am not wanting to be doing it much longer! We had our attempt and tomorrow I should O! Hope my toddler let's me sleep thru tonight and tomorrow night so I can have an accurate reading! He's been getting up around 2 or am lately.

HDP looks like I am 3 days behind you! Since I should O tomorrow and Sunday would be 1dpo. GL! Hope we both get our pink bundles from this cycle!

So I am FINALLY in the 2ww! Only took 27 days for me to O (sarcasm)! I ovulated today for sure. Yesterday I got blazing +opks and we did hurry up fr where dh released on his own and about 2 hrs later we had our attempt. No lubes, no rephresh, no j & d bc I knew his sperm count should be super low already with hurry up fr. It was super painful in my pelvic area too! Not at all pleasing so at least I didn't have the big O! Haha. Well then today we dtd but with pulling out and it didn't hurt at all! Just another confirmation of o for me. So glad to finally be in the 2ww! Hopefully I will wait at least a week before analyzing every twinge and cramp 🤣 GL to everyone else who is in the 2ww! Hope we all get our desires from this cycle ❤

Yay. Fx for everyone. Got the smiley on Friday afternoon. And just a few hours later at about 4, I had thee worst ovarian cramp I've gotten in a long time. I was in so much pain I didn't move from the spot I was standing in for like 15 minutes. I was terribly sore and crampy all night. I didn't realize you can ovulate immediately after the first positive. Because then bd happened after ovulation. Temps went up this morning so tomorrow if it's high again it will confirm O. I guess I'm 1 dpo. Not really thinking anything happened... I guess I'll see next week if I am curious at all. Honestly, i just want to stop the diet. I just want a big tuna sandwich with some really spicy chips. Im only extra strict about the crystal light to keep ph of my body low this week. Does that make sense or not make a difference. Aspartame scares me. I actually wouldn't touch that stuff if you paid me, before this. And last two times I swayed, I had MCs. Wondering what y'all are doing in the 2ww. Anything more strict?

Hi KC- I think I remember you from TTC in 2016. My LO is 14 months old and I had phantom symptoms that I was prego a few months ago too, before I had even gotten a period. I went so far as to test too but negative. I think it might have been wishful thinking for me. I stopped BF about 5 weeks ago, finally got a period and now I am actively TTC.

Can I ask what early symptoms you think you see in your 10 mn that would suggest autism? Or what signs you saw in DS1. You can private message me too, but if you don’t want to share I understand.

My lowest temp is not reliable b c i was up a lot that night and only had an hr and 45 mins of sleep before temping. So we're you saying your temp rises sort of slow like mine did (the Saturday and Sunday temps)?

Well today is cd26 and finally got my +opk! We did hurry up fr as our last bd was Monday and we were going for e7d initially. The diet is getting increasingly hard to stay with and so I am not wanting to be doing it much longer! We had our attempt and tomorrow I should O! Hope my toddler let's me sleep thru tonight and tomorrow night so I can have an accurate reading! He's been getting up around 2 or am lately.

HDP looks like I am 3 days behind you! Since I should O tomorrow and Sunday would be 1dpo. GL! Hope we both get our pink bundles from this cycle!Fx for you my friend.

We finally got our smiley on Sat and dtd Fri late night into Sat early morning. We just got lucky our 1 attempt fell in the right window. Here's to hoping for the 2ww to fly.

Hi girlie cat! With DS1 he had low muscle tone, severe speech delay, no pointing or gestures - screamed a lot from 1yr as very frustrated. sensory issues, didnt respond to noise. Symptoms from birth. Finally diagnosed at 4yrs.
DS3 has been very similar - not great eye contact, not responding to sound, some sensory issues, not babbling much. He is only 10months but we are keeping a very close eye on him.

If you suspect anything at all get a ADOS assessment done by someone qualified to do it. Seeking help early is the key to success. Here in australia you get assessed by 3 professionals - a developmental paed, speech therapist & psychologist.
Goodluck!

Hey lovelies,

I've started spotting and all negatives, so I'm pretty sure AF is here tonight or in the morning. I think I'm going to take a wee break from the board- I just want to relax this cycle if I can. The past few months have been so hard with TTC, moving from our lovely home 3,000 miles to a new place, bedrest, miscarrying, adjusting everyone, etc. I think I just need a breather. We will absolutely still be trying this month, but I need a mental break from thinking too hard about it, I may just temp for a week around O to confirm it and then leave it.

FX FX FX for all of you in the 2ww!!!!!!!!!!! I hope to see so many BFPs in the september board!!!!!!

Oh no! [emoji22][emoji22] how is it today? Any better? Thanks for asking. It really did a number on me. I just lessened my exercise and it is not too bad now. If I overdo it I can feel it or even if I dont pee fast enough. I'm just getting tired of the exercise and diet. I dont know how ppl did so many months or years. I just can't. 5 dpo and no rush to check. I only have one test so itll have to wait until I feel anything that remotely resembles a symptom or if I miss af. Such a quiet 2ww here. But I guess there's not much to say.

I want a coffee drinker before and now its just not sitting well with my stomach and I'm getting too hungry to skip breakfast. The 100° and early school mornings must be getting to me.

I have been tested only once and didn't fit the criteria of pcos so they put it as mild.

G'day again ladies, this month by DH and I ended up deciding that we wouldn't ttc and give it a rest to see if my cycle will return to normal... and at this stage, in my opinion it feels like I've ovulated around when I would have normally, so hopefully there won't be another 40 day cycle again. We've still been clearing the pipes every 2 days (boy sway) and keeping up with diet and sups etc. But I've stopped all my obsessing and googling.

Af will definitely be showing up this month but for a change I'll be looking forward to it... clearing the slate and starting afresh. New positive mindset will help.

I tried to read through the previous comments... there's so much going on. But good luck to those in the tww and congratulations to those who got their BFPs!

I'll pop in to say g'day again from time to time... can't wait for next cycle! [emoji16]

So my U/S today showed some ok looking follicles on my left ovary, but really no use to me, as I don’t have a left tube lol, so no trigger shot.
After today’s appointment, and in light of my test results, I think I’m going to change my plans. I really have such a slim chance of pregnancy, not impossible, just super slim.

Fx hopeful that it'll happen. I was told I wasn't able to concieve naturally and they wanted to give me a period to restart my cycle with meds. I refused and I'm happy I did. I was already a few weeks pregnant during the testing. My oldest wouldnt have been here :)

Thunderstruck, lol.

I am 7dpo and dont have any symptoms. Which I hear is normal. I just feel like its not happening. I clearly have a cyst on my left ovary and it is making my back hurt and stinging inside. CM is also bone dry.

I always have pregnancy symptoms when I have cysts and strong hormonal months with sharp O pain. So nothing spectacular. Haven't been exercising and I ate 5 cookies as I baked them last night. I just can't anymore....

Sent from my SM-G965U using TapatalkSadly there is nothing to do for cysts ever. If I get pregnant they eventually shrink. If not, they eventually shrink also. My main concern is always torsion. But thankfully all the last ones were painful, but just that. Im 7 dpo- real close to u. I usually have 16 days from O to AF. So I have time.

My face is breaking out like a teenager, I'm getting so impatient and hungry, I was so dizzy today I chugged coconut water between meals or I would have been on the floor. This means my hormones are raging which is good for pregnancy, but even when not, are very much cyst related. So they can just be irritating symptoms of nothing.

I didn't exercise this week and before this ovulation I didn't miss. I just want a baby girl, but I also want some normalcy. So I think im going to just stop the diet. I'll keep delaying breakfast and try not to snack. But calorie counting needs to end. I'm just too hot, hungry, and tired.

FX y'all

Hi ladies
I will be 9dpo tomorrow. I'm not symptom spotting so nothing. Didn't think I'd even test this cycle. Been trying the non tracking, laid back approach and feeling relaxed! Funny turn of events. This time, my doctor's office is waiting for me to take a test and report at the earliest. I have some rashes that is suspected to be a staph infection, that is not responding to pregnancy safe antibiotics. They want to give me the powerful (not to be used even if likely to be pregnant) antibiotics to treat it. So I guess, if it's a bfp, I'll be stuck with an infection that might not respond to antibiotics and if it's bfn, over to more bacteria killing drugs. Catch 22 it is!!!
Hope you are all having better things to look forward to!

Currently I'm 8dpo and have this weird ache near my right ovary, backache in the middle of my back, some nausea off and on but could be due to changing my diet and headaches also could be due to changing my diet. Well, I think AF will likely start for me. I had the worst emotional day today, family member picked a fight and usually I can ignore this person but today I could not and engaged in the biggest argument and I ended up with the worst headache afterwards. I am so mad at myself for getting angry as it probably increased my T levels. I figure my mood must be going nuts from hormones starting to drop. I also had a massive cheat day and could not stop eating. Feeling super guilty because I had been doing so well eating only 2 or 3 small meals a day. Will have to make up for it tomorrow. Kicking myself!

Ladies! I don’t know that anyone will see this but I wanted to pop in and let you all know that I was blessed with the most wonderful valentines gift ever, the conception of our girl who arrived 6 weeks ago. After mentally moving on from our long and heartbreaking journey I was surprised to find out I was pregnant & in disbelief the whole pregnancy despite the blood test result & multiple sonographers telling us it was a girl. It can happen when you least expect it. I am ever so grateful for the support & guidance I had through this site over the years and still think about everyone she fondly & wonder where you all ended up. One day I will sit and have a big scroll through & catch up, until then I hope you are all well & dreams are being chased & fulfilled.

Thanks Kawazza! Glad you spotted this lovely, think about you all so often. Can’t believe I joined the success stories, so very surreal but so very special indeed.
