OMG OMG OMG!! IT'S A BOY :xy: I can't believe it,

It worked, My DS is getting a brother!! Tech said it's 100% a boy. The baby wasn't in a very good position, but I did see his wee wee a couple of times. The tech looked a few different times to make sure it's a boy. She even told me I could go shopping and It's not going to change. It's so HARD for me to believe it. I will post the pics in a little bit.

I am super excited. Thank you God for his wonderful blessing.

Hi ladies!

I don't know if you all remember me from a few months ago. We were going to TTC a boy but DH blindsided me saying he was not ready at all for another baby back in Sept so I sort of went on a hiatus as I was devastated. We went on to get pg in Dec miraculously anyway only to have an m/c New Year's Day. I'm waiting for results of my RPL panel since that's our 3rd m/c. After all of that DH still wasn't ready but he surprised me on Valentine's Day that he is ready to TTC. He wants to do the diet and everything next month and then go for it in April. I'd love to hop back in here and chat again as I've totally forgotten all the sway stuff lol.

I see you had your baby boy 3Pink congratulations!!! I'll try to read back some more today to see where everyone is.

MFC, yay! So excited DS1 is getting a brother, how awesome! Yesterday, my two boys were rolling around on the ground together and laughing, it was soooo endearing to see!

PoP & Flava, I feel for ya'll on how much ya'll have tried swaying. This is only my first attempt, but I still feel it's a bust, because I wasn't willing to go on diet as hard core as I should. My diet and behaviors are so boy friendly, I think I am nothing but a boy-making machine, lol.

aurora- thanks! It is very hard for sure but I really hope this is it for us. I changed so much I feel like Im a healthiest cradle you can find ,LOL it doesn't get any better then this .Im at 8 to 10+ serving of fruit and veggie a day ,so if this is not good enough for a boy to lay in then there is nothing else I can do.

AFM - I am about 10days pre O and my temps are strangely high. Ususally around now i am in the 36.4 range, but for the past week i have been up around 36.9, i am a little worried, if i don't drop down in the next week i feel like my temps couldn't possibly go higher after O, hmm ill just wait and see what happens i suppose.

PoP, hopefully it's just too early for you. I have unpredicatbele waking times too but I find temping vaginally helps. As long as I get about 4-5 hours sleep the temps work fine.

Yeah, i thought about doing a PT but i only have one left, and i think that is silly because i had an anovulotory cycle and AF, it came down to 36.8 today, maybe it will keep coming down.

I really am baffled at your chart. Your temps are so high. Are you still temping the same way, as in orally etc? I know when I started temping vaginally my temps went up.

Yes i have always temped vaggi. I do have lots of OPK's, i wasn't sure i could use one of those for PT, i will do one, what am i looking for?

OPKs will turn positive when you are pregnant. I've been doing them along with my hpts, like a crazy poas lady!

I am not letting myself get excited but....I POAS tonight on a Crystal Clear test and got a BFN after 1 min....so I walked away....came back 2hrs later and there is a super faint second line. Now the lines are blue...common for evaps although I have never had one....so maybe I am not out yet....fingers crossed I have a late implanter and get a BFP soon!!

2nd line on opk is good! I also had one on an opk this am but haven't done hpt yet...waiting till Tues 11dpo since I only have 1 FRER and I don't want to waste it too early! KMFC for you!

We have been TTC for 2 months and I am getting so impatient. DD was a oopsie, so wasn't even trying then. I just thought it would be easier to get pregnant esp if we are tracking O etc and trying to do it close to O. I am so depressed! TTC is no fun. I wonder if I am not conceiving because I am so consumed by the TTC thoughts and being pregnant - maybe I should take it easy.

The first month we had 1 attempt, this month we had 2, but still BFP. I think ill change it up next month maybe DTD every other day for the entire month.

AFM... ladies can I just brag a minute? I hit my goal weight! 40lbs down!! I'm so happy :) I feel so very much better about myself. I also set my goal so I can add a little padding back on when I start an active swaying diet :) Honor is also thriving so well... I am making tons of milk and she's also eating solids like a champ. I just love her so much. She's an incredible mama's girl still - I can't leave her with anyone but DH but don't really mind.

My cycles are still being strange. After the bleed I had I've had nothing... no more periods, no nothing for well over a month. I can't figure out what my body is doing which is a little frustrating. Breastfeeding and fertility is just weird. But in a way I'm happy my body seems to figure it's not quite ready for normal cycles yet. A little nerve-wracking wondering if I might O at any time, though. Thinking my cycles were starting and then having them not really do so has given me a weird case of pregnancy/babylust though!!! I just keep cuddling my little Honor close :)

Skrimpy - Great job on the weight loss! Your days with Honor sound so great too, i am so clucky and wanting that little snuggley baby in my arms. I agree BF and fert are so weird, i was unlucky with DD i got my regular periods 1 month after giving birth, i BF full time for the first 6 months, and didn't stop until she was 14 months. Everyone was telling me that BF makes you have no periods!

As for my temps, i am still puzzeled, i have not added anything to our bed, we actually sleep with no cover at the moment because it is so humid where we live, maybe that is the reason. I usually have 1 glass of wine before dinner each night so it wouldn't be that either. I am pretty positive it is not pregnancy, or maybe i will end up on that "I didn't know i was pregnant show" haha.

Great job!!!! It might also be your weight loss affecting your cycles...I had some strange cycles when I lost weight and it seemed my body didn't ovulate a few months. I'm sure you'll be back normal soon! A lot of things going on can really combine with each other!

yes, I did the BSF 1 hr before each attempt. I used EW every month that I got a BFN, and the first month I used preseed I got a BFP. I don't know if it was just coincidence or if the EW was keeping me from getting pg?

Yes DH changed his mind. (after I got rid of everything) He signed up for gym and going to swim and work out.

AFM: Of course I post and then go out of town lol. My appt with the RE is in 2 weeks to discuss my RPL results. I really think I'm fine, just got a couple bad eggs or something. I'm off to the store to stock up on diet/supp stuff! My last couple of charts have been strange. No positive opk last month and this month no ewcm at all. I put it in my chart for one day but really, it was creamy with just a touch of stretch. My temp also didn't rise above cover at all until today (4 days past when I think I o'd). I think I'll do EPO to help out the cm and use the Preseed I already have. Hopefully upping my water again will help it too. I'm so bad about drinking water.

I'm 11dpo today and had a bfn on a frer :( But still having lots of symptoms and my temps are still going up, so I'm confused. I started doing opks yesterday, and there is a 2nd line that is getting darker each day, which I don't normally get this close to af being due. I'm just going crazy over here mainly with my symptoms not matching up to the neg tests...plus 2 close friends have announced on fb they are due the month I would have been due with the chemical I had...and they didn't bother to tell me in person first--just let me find out on fb even though they both know I was having a really hard time coping with the chemical. Thought that was very inconsiderate.

Been watching a lot of "A Baby Story" lately and everyone is having boys. Makes you feel like the only one on the planet that doesn't have one hey lol

The good news is most of them are from 2004 - 2009 so I wouldn't worry about the# of boys. :) I never watch those till I'm pregnant then I DVR them all and watch them 1st thing. :) They make me remember how painful labor is though so I can't figure out for the life of me why I watch them.

I'm just going crazy over here mainly with my symptoms not matching up to the neg tests...plus 2 close friends have announced on fb they are due the month I would have been due with the chemical I had...and they didn't bother to tell me in person first--just let me find out on fb even though they both know I was having a really hard time coping with the chemical. Thought that was very inconsiderate.

Hopefully it's just too early :) I wouldn't do OPKs until you get a bfp on a hpt. They won't go positive before a hpt does. Will save you wasting them!

That sucks about what your friends have done. I hate reading on fb about pregnancies of people I am close to, it is so impersonal. I know how you feel about the chemical, a few people I know have annoucned pregnancies around the time I would have been due too.

The good news is most of them are from 2004 - 2009 so I wouldn't worry about the# of boys. :) I never watch those till I'm pregnant then I DVR them all and watch them 1st thing. :) They make me remember how painful labor is though so I can't figure out for the life of me why I watch them.

For that exact reason I won't watch it ever again. Cutting it out probably made my birth 40 percent less painful haha.

Thankyou for the prayers. Baby is safe and sound for now, but it is sitting right on my cervix which means I am on strict bed rest with feet up for another week at least. It could go either way and if we make it further along could mean placenta praevia. For now my baby is healthy saw the spine, legs and arms and measuring 9w 1 day today and HB 173bpm :)

I agree with Cinss... Really early for AF! I haven't heard of Royal Jelly having any sort of effect like that, it pretty much just boosts fertility rather than messing with your cycle from what I've seen...

Hey guys, you all are sweet to worry about me! TTC5, I have been worrying about you!!!! Yea, I have been trying to cool it with my baby fever. I don't know why, but she was right, I've been having a hard time lately. I really think I'm going to not try anymore. We aren't going to use condoms or bc or anything, but I am just SICK of taking opks and vitamins all day and buying expensive preseed and instead cups and worrying about my DH's balls every time I see him in his dance gear all padded up. He kinda understands, I think it's hard for him to see me upset and know it's because of his sperm. So, we are pretty much throwing in the towel. I may not be on here as much, but I will try to jump on every once and a while to see how everyone is.

It's hard to REALLY not try, so I think it might entail truly not trying and not thinking about it and not caring at all, however I can get to that stage.

No worries, i had a similar thing happen to me last month, i had an anovulatory cycly (didn't O) and AF came early, and was only 3 days long, which is so weird for me, usually it is heavy 7 days worth. Now my temps are really high, i am really confused. How are your temps? I even changed AF on FF to spotting to see what would happen and it said - you are 23 dpo, please take a pregnancy test, so i am just waiting for more to arrive in the mail, i don't feel pregnant though, and i just hope things go back to normal this month.

I have something I want to share and I'm hoping this brings you ladies hope and not makes anyone feel bad. Around this time in 2010 I was obsessed with IG and planning my sway, I was counting down the days till our first attempt. I would go to stores and longingly stare at baby boy clothes truely believing I would never get to buy them. I saw a little outfit that I loved but wouldn't break my heart if I had to give it away. I slept with that outfit under my pillow every night till my bfp in Aug and put it back after my m/c in Oct. Today, nearly 2 years after I began my sway journey I put that shirt on my son. I share this because you never know how long or hard your journey may be but in the end you may just get everything you want. Fx and baby dust for you all :luck::bluesperm:

It was funny because i didn't tell DP it was there and he flipped the matress and put it in the laundry, when i saw it in there i was like "oh my gosh what is this doing in here, it is supposed to be under our bed!" Not much I can do at this point but be happy that I have an amazing husband now and that I do have 2 awesome daughters, and that is all I could ever wish for anyway. There are some good things with not having any more kids....more money to do for the girls and travel, and I can just keep building my career and not worry about any interruptions. Good reminder that our journeys can be long and fraught with difficulty and heartbreak, but in the end, everything will be just as it is supposed to be.

I hope that I don't become a downer to anyone, by the way. I'm gonna try to stick around to be supportive and helpful with swaying stuff, and I will have to occasionally insert some of my perspective so that no one gets too much GD or anything. Hopefully someone will care less about getting an opposite and see that they are just lucky to get a baby.

I'm not a huge fan of the drinks. I think it is much better to drink green tea and lemon water and good natural fruit juices in an attempt to have lots of nutrients and all, but I personally don't think downing ural is that good for you.....that is my 2 cents, though. The main point of the ural is to raise ph, right? And that has been proven to not matter. What is more important, in my opinion, is being well-hydrated so you have more ewcm and intaking a lot of vitamins and nutrients from fruit and veggie drinks. Green tea is a good antioxidant and good for the cm, so no problems with that. But baking soda and such is hard on your system in certain amounts.....so you gals just be careful with that!

As long as the ew part is really strechy, it is fine to put in ew, because you will start to become fertile when it is like that.

I don't think so, my girlfriend has always had 3 day periods and she has 3 kids, she is 28 yrs old. It is weird though that happened to me last time, and Kiara said that happened to her too in this thread a few pages back.

3pink-nice story ! I also have cute boy outfits only I didn't get to use it with DD4.Hopefully now. But we are cursed every time we ttc we are sick. So right now we are sick again...

I temp in the mouth and it's just fine. No way i want to temp down there when I have AF.

On the ural just use more water it has almost no taste. Im not drinking it anymore. Or BS or COT. Or ACV .
I did last year for months and my pH is teh same now. So why do it, right?

I temp vaginally and don't temp during AF. Actually sometimes I don't even bother temping until CD 11 or so as it just takes a few temps to see a shift for me.

eta: I don't recommend that if you're just starting charting. I've been doing this for almost a year and been reading about it for over 2 so I know what my body does pretty well. New charters should definitely chart as many temps as they can.

I'm with Lola on the drinks too. I did bsd before my m/c and when I stopped I had horrible heartburn for weeks. I didn't think about it much but each time I did for this last attempt I got heartburn again. Not worth it. And for all you new ladies, I got my son with a pH of 5-5.5, nothing would change it.

Kiara - I started it for 6 weeks before my first attempt but eneded up doIng it for 6 months before I got my bfp. The longer you do the diet the better.

Pop - my flow has been 3-4 days since dd1 was born and I conceived 5 babies since her, 4 on the first try. As long as your LP is more then 11 days your fertility should be just fine.

B3blue - don't focus as much on quantity as quality of foods. Cut processed stuff and stick to nutrient dense foods like meats, fruits, veg and whole fat dairy. You'll get more bang for your buck that way. GL :)

I was SO sure I was out b/c I had a HUGE drop in temp on Wed., and thought I would start spotting as I was due for af on Fri and normally start spotting on temp drop day, but never started and still felt preggo on Thurs. Did a FRER, it was neg, but I took out an internet cheapie, and it was BFP!!! I'm going to try to attach a pic. The dr. took betas Thurs and it was 24.3. They are going to check next week to make sure they double properly (since i had the chemical in Dec. and 2 previous m/c before my DS) Taking progesterone daily and keeping fx this is a sticky bean!

Thankyou for the prayers. Baby is safe and sound for now, but it is sitting right on my cervix which means I am on strict bed rest with feet up for another week at least. It could go either way and if we make it further along could mean placenta praevia. For now my baby is healthy saw the spine, legs and arms and measuring 9w 1 day today and HB 173bpm :)

Thanks, i am so confused, do you think it could be EPO? I added it back for my second cycle, that is really the only thing i changed, i am not overly stressed, in fact i am pretty laid back generally. I am kind of thinking the universe is playing with me right now. I did some googeling, i know bad idea, and i refuse to believe i have some sort of ovarian dysfunction, my periods were like clockwork before ttc.

So were mine Cinss. I got my period Saturday morning every 4 weeks and ovulated Sat in between. Now all of a sudden Last AF came on wed 4 days late....but it did come this time on a wed but only lasted 3 days. Not sure what added the 4 days to my cycle and shortened AF???

Thank you everyone for the congrats! I will feel much more at ease after getting my betas re-checked next week. On Thurs (13dpo) they were 24.3, so I go back next Thurs, at which time they should be around 300 something if they are doubling properly. I'm definitely more at ease with this one than my loss in Dec. b/c I've still got very sore bbs whereas they didn't stay that way in Dec., and my test is showing up on the less sensitive test that it never showed up on in Dec. Just praying and praying this is a sticky one!

Wannahealthybaby - I was/am a big fan of the HE diet. I ate lots of fruits/veg and meats and stuck to full fat dairy. I didn't as much add meat as eat a greater variety. I used to eat mostly chicken and turkey burger so I made sure to eat more red meat and pork. Breakfast was always eggs, bacon and hash browns. I avoided all processed foods except bread and drank only juice, coffee, water and green tea.
Glad I provide hope, after 3 girls I honestly never thought I'd get my guy :)

Ladies with funky cycles, it's probably your sups and will hopefully even out.

3Pink- Thanks for the pep talk! I start my day with bacon & eggs with DH at 5am when he leaves for work. Then I have special k (which is actually not that bad..i've never had grown up cereal lol) when the girls get up at 8ish with a banana. Lunch will hopefully be some sort of salad with either soup or a sandwich. I also love snacking on hash browns with melted mozzarella cheese wrapped in a tortilla with homemade salsa. My MIL showed me that and omgosh it's so good and screams blue!

I've mapped out the whole month of March's dinners with beef twice a week. We pretty much never have red meat aside from meatballs so my DH is thrilled! I'm hoping that does the trick. We used to drink sweet tea by the gallon too (horrible I know) but it has been replaced with a gallon of water, green tea once a day and v-8 splash once a day. Please God let this do the trick! If anything I'm eating the best I ever have and perhaps it could be a permanent change. I haven't given up my morning coffee, but absolutely no soda otherwise (also huge for me).

Yep, Cinss, I would drop the EPO and see how your cycle goes this next round. I got wacked out early or late O, sometimes short LP, with supps when I was swaying hard core last year. I dropped it all and now my cycles are really normal. I am sure it was the supps.

PoP.... When I conceived my boys I used to have AF for only 2-3 days and I normally had 28day cycles. When I started the supps it changed everything. My last 3mths AF lasted 4-6days, AF kept coming early, and CD changed nearly every mth. I was confused but now I hope it's a good sign.

Well I'm having a c-section and that is just the standard time, why is that longer than usual? I wanted a c-section anyway but my placenta is still way too low so I get one anyway. Bub's head can't even engage cos it's in the way. I'm having steroid injections next week to help her lungs along then she'll be here on the Friday :)

In Australia Private NVD is 4 days and C/S is 6 days....public NVD is out within 6hrs-24hrs and C/S is 2-3days. Unless you have problems of course!

I'm going private too...I have done both. I actually wish one of our local private hospitals had a birth centre like the public does. I love the aftercare in private and the long stay (you can get fed and looked after while you establish BF, with help on hand 24/7)...but prefer the no intervention birth centre being cared for by midwives during birth, like in the public.

Not sure about the rj or RRL, but fish oil (and cod liver oil) and adding more fat into my diet worked for my LP's!
