The stuff in Proxeed is just carnitine plus coq10 (which I also recommend but it's much less important than carnitine) and then stuff that is already in the Men's One a Day over 50. It's also ridiculously expensive which is why I recommend the Carnitine, arginine, and coq10 separately - so people don't have to pay those types of prices (plus you get arginine, which can help carnitine work better). Fertilaid is the same thing - the equivalent of a multivitamin which he's already taking, plus carnitine and coq10. So if he's reluctant to take carnitine for some reason, he'll still be taking it, and you'd be paying a large amount of money.
If maybe he just doesn't want to take so many pills, you can find powdered carnitine for much cheaper than the Proxeed.
Tomato juice is fine, but the Men's One a Day already has lycopene in it, in a higher concentration than what is in the tomato juice.
What part of the cycle were you at when you had that finding?? That is still in normal range during the second part of the cycle. And since you are still getting your period, even if it was out of the normal range, it is not cause for concern as it would be if you were post-menopausal. If you're concerned about it, you may want to get a scan after you have had your period, but before you're close to ovulating, to see that it is normal. That might to help reassure you that it's ok.Thanks for this Atomic, so I went back to the hospital to complain and I insisted on getting tested because I just felt like there was something wrong with me down there. I was sent for an ultrasound and a swab test. They observed some fluid in my uterus, and the doctor then said it could be endometritis, though I wasn't told how thick the endometrium was.
I've been on a course of antibiotics for close tl 14 days now, and I do feel better. I'll go back and ask to be checked again, just to ensure everything is fine.
For the past 2 years, I've had very painful ovulation, so I wonder if that would go away with this antibiotics treatment.
For the powdered Carnithine, how much milligrams should I give to DH?

treens - OMG.. great news.. BIG Congratulations .. soo happy for you.. wow u got to know the gender by 13 weeks!!
yes, I got my 20 week scan booked.. its coming up after 4 weeks.. mid October. feels like ssoo far away.
littlewish - yeah some moms do get sick for both gender. probably just different for each pregnancy and mothers.. I am 16 weeks now.. started showing little bit even with loose clothes lol. Did you get the results?
yeah I am nervous when thinking about gender but I am more prepared for a girl. I always imagine myself the sonographer saying “its a girl” . trying to adapt that news already as I don’t want even a tiny bit of disappointment if it is not a boy.. kind of preparing myself.
LMSM - Good luck.. and fx for this cycle. am sure you had a good attempt and soon will see the bfp.
I am 16 weeks now. will be 17 weeks on Sunday. it feels a bit slower after i got back here.
Jamama- how are you doing ?
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkHello Jazmin,
Glad you arrive back safely. Please don't be so worried about the gender, just focus on being strong and healthy for your baby.
I have 2 girls, and with the first I was terribly sick, couldn't even stand up to eat but with my second I always forgot I was even pregnant, it was the best pregnancy ever.

I often got peak right after low too…I think that happened with my second boy and we only bd’ed 2x that entire cycle on the two peak days and we had him. But I was on super blue diet back then, alooooot of meat! Hoping you will get bfp this cycle and even better a blue one!!!
Treens - that is wonderfulllll!!!!! I am soooooo happy that you get your rainbow girl back! Happy and healthy pregnancy! How far along are you now?Best of luck Onelittlewish [emoji106]

Hi everyone!
Jamama- you must be around the same stage as me now as our cycles were quite close to one another...how are you??
1littlewish - that is great news!! how far along are you now?
Jazmin - how far along are you - when is your 20 week scan due?
I've obviously only had girls - but got more sick every pregnancy - I think it might be linked to the fact that once you have kids, you have to look after them while pregnant and so you're more tired, less likely to care for yourself as well, and rest etc...
Treens - that is SUCH a great thing to hear - the relief is huge, isn't it!? we cannot wait to hear what colour your precious bean is xx
Over here I am a few days PO - not sure when I O'd - my peak came around super early and fast (the day before was neg opk/low fertility - so no high days in between!) - but my temp indicates (FF yet to confirm) that it could have been that I O'd a few days after the peak so hopefully we caught that egg and with enough attempts!Hi hi [emoji112]
I'm on CD 20 at the moment. I don't have a lot of hope this cycle because of the antibiotics I've been on since my ovulation started. I did BD cd 12 &13, though. But my main focus this month is to complete all treatment before I resume my sway and attempts.
How about you? How many attempts were you able to get in?

I am just a day behind you in my cycle though I am not sure of # of attempts - as O is uncertain - anything between 1 to 3 or more haha
So may be anything between 8 and 10dpo atm - will probably test tomorrow Tuesday if my temp stays elevated but may try to wait a bit more..my symptoms could be PMS anyways LOL

hi all! I've gotten my nipt test back and we are indeed expecting a healthy baby girl (although they only tested the 3 common abnormalities but I had done PGS too so I hope that is enough!). Morning sickness gradually fading and much more energetic and hungrier now.
9jamama - Get well soon! When will you have your next check up? I hope everything will be cleared up by then and you can resume your sway and attempts!
LMSM - Lots of blue dust to you! Keep us updated FXFXFX!
Jazmin - 3 more weeks to go now! the wait is always long when you are expecting the next scan right...we have monthly scans here but it always feels like forever until we have the next one

Oh interesting, I'm so glad you were able to get them to check it out for you!!! Keep me posted on how that is going.
Painful ovulation is just something that a lot of people experience. Mine got worse and worse as I got older - my late 30's and early 40's I had very intense O pains. It doesn't mean anything is wrong at all.
I recommend 1000 mg carnitine and then if he'll take it, also 500 mg arginine. If he won't take the arginine, then I'd probably just give him 500 mg carnitine (the carnitine is supposed to be 2:1 to the arginine, which is why I use those doses...if he's not taking arginine you can use the 500 mg carnitine instead.)

How many weeks are you now?? They do say you get sicker with girl but I was also really sick with my first boy. I had morning sickness till 5.5 months and I lost alot of weight. I don’t remember if I was vomitting as much as this time but I had no appetite at all. With my second boy oh it was super easy. Maybe sick for 2 weeks then done and I was much more energetic with him too. I hope you will get your boy!!!
Sickness does not predict gender at all so please no one read anything into that!!

I guess baby is still too tiny for me to feel all the moves.. or changed the position that i couldn’t feel much as before. I wish I had something with me check whenever I can.

Jazmin - depending on position of baby and of placenta, movement can be felt very much or very little - and you're right, baby is still small so they can easily hide still :)
My DD4, I had an anterior placenta (in the front) so it acted as a cushion and could barely feel her, (and I've always felt my babies very very early) it was very disconcerting! What is important is to pay attention to your baby's pattern: if that changes, then you should get checked out. Babies often are most active when WE rest, and resting when WE are active so if the baby is quiet when you're active, it's likely normal ;)
Have you got regular midwife appointments? could you get maybe a doppler to find the baby's heartbeat even if bub is otherwise quiet?

yeah I don’t think about gender most of the time .. I think I get reminded, when someone ask me.. or make comments. I do look at symptoms guesses and sicknesses for fun.. only to pass the time.. I don’t believe in it.. not even 1% ..bcoz according to old wives tale my 2nd should have been a boy lol
few more weeks anyway. Someone asked me if i am tired and that I look tired.. and I said yes and she was like its a girl.. its a girl .. I am sure its a girl.. I just smiled and walked away.. !! had nothing to say.. she knows that i have 2 girls and I was thinking why is she even commenting on gender already. ssoo yes.. there are people like that.. and I was at peace while the bump was hidden.. but now it started to show.
Anyways I am just going to enjoy my pregnancy as I am not working this time.. i did for previous two. [emoji4]

No worries - hope you can find a way to get some more peace of mind. They are such tricksters at that gestation - big enough to feel but small enough to hide... :P
You did wait a long time for baby, so totally normal to be that little bit more anxious. Also was thinking, do you have the kids at home ith you (you said you didn't work) so you could easily miss movement because you're distracted by the kids! ;)

How's early pregnancy treating you? Has morning sickness started? What foods do you like now or hate ? Lol. What about exercise, do you still have the energy to workout?
As for me, AF just ended. I'll be very busy this month, so I'll probably not think too much about ttc.
I also started working out again, cos it helps me fight stress. I wish I could lose some weight but I haven't been successful yet. Sometimes I wish I was swaying pink so that I'll force myself to really put in the work [emoji1787].

I hear ya - exercising is a chore for me too - though I wish it wasn't - I'd love to feel fitter and stronger ..and leaner but just takes so.much.effort :D
haha morning sickness was my first clue that I might be pregnant - luckily I started Unisom quickly and it takes the edge off so it is still manageable - and can eat! I just have things that I really feel satisfy me while others are as bland as rocks LOL
I've had no energy though & cramping bad (I have an irritable uterus so that is normal for me) so working out is out of the question - hoping to get back to it even slowly so I don't end up looking like a whale

I am gearing up to attempt in (very end of) December and I am SO nervous. I have two sons and desperately want a baby girl. I feel petrified lol. I want a third baby regardless but I wont lie, I will have major GD if I have another boy. Anyone else TTC in the next few months? My youngest turns 1 in two weeks! I want them to be about 2+ years apart.

I can't seem to be able to do that from my end, but if you can, I think that'll be helpful.
I'm also ttcing, being trying to conceive since 2021, but I haven't been successful yet. My DH has low sperm count, and we've been trying to bring it back up. I have a 25/27 day cycle, and I'm currently on Cd12.
I'm swaying boy, and I've had 3 attempts within the fertile days. I'll try to add one more attempt (fingers crossed) tomorrow. I don't use opks cos they have never worked for me, and I don't even know why [emoji848].

Tips on us getting pregnant, I believe helped if anyone is having a hard time. Just what I think worked for me or helped.
The cycle that I got pregnant I was going to chiropractor approx every 2 weeks, getting massages every 7-10 days and did 2 acupuncture sessions CD5 & CD15 of a 26 day cycle. I feel like if i was aligned and in my best body health it couldn't hurt.
For getting a girl I really believe it is the missing breakfast and fasting through the night and not snacking only eating 3 times a day but still enough calories in. Just wanted to add my 2 cents I know there is much more but this is what I really believe helps a lot!
Best of luck to all!

Thanks for the tip! I have been dieting and skipping breakfast for about 3 weeks now. I will continue until my attempt! I will probably go for end of Dec or end of Jan. I'm having some inner turmoil about having another baby when my youngest is so little. I don't want to rob him of anything but I am 32 and I wanted to have all my children before 30 (I had infertility issues that prevented that) I want to have all my babies asap but I also don't want to be unfair to my little boy. I love him so much. My oldest is 13 - I had an accidental teen pregnancy with him. He's a lot older so I don't have as much guilt about adding another. My youngest isn't even 1 until the end of this month!! I am rambling now lol.
I am just hoping to add a little girl to my family.
My plan is keto/low carb, exercise + clomid! I have to be low carb due to an autoimmune issue. I won't have a sticky pregnancy without it. I know that keto can sway blue but I don't have an option! I'm hoping since it keeps my blood sugar low + clomid I'll be in pink zone. I want a girl so badly. I really hope it happens!

I'm hoping since it keeps my blood sugar low + clomid I'll be in pink zone. I want a girl so badly. I really hope it happens!
Remember - protein + carbs = boys. If you need a keto diet for health when swaying pink, it ~can~ work, it's just that so many people cheat on keto diets and end up in boy zone that I don't recommend it unless someone is willing to really stick to it!

Djamama - I will let Atomic comment but I do think that is quite a high dose of fish oil (1.2g = 1200mg) ;)

Oh LMSM, how are you doing? What's the update with you?
The dosage confused me a bit, so I wonder if I can just one pill instead of 2.

I think the max recommended dose is 500 so if you do half a dose to get to 600ng that may be ok - have you bought them already or just looking at them?
I’m ok - waiting for my cycles to resume eagerly so I can get back to tracking and into TTC mindset and planning - I need to be able to move on and look ahead or I will just ruminate on the dark sad stuff :(

Anyone around here?
Still waiting for my cycles to resume, just want to move on and ahead...should have been 13.5weeks now :(
At least, the end of year chaos (school finishes for summer break at the end of this week here in Australia) keeps me somewhat busy!
Where is everyone at? :)

That is a little higher than I'd like to see and I'm not a fan of seaweed.

yes you can do just one pill for half the dose if you'd like.
Also, sometimes it's hard for me to keep up with support threads - whenever you have a specific question just start a new thread and ask me there - I will see it sooner! Thanks for your patience and to treens and LMSM for chiming in in my absence.

Haha sending heat and sunshine - it's so warm here ;)
Sorry I've lost track of everything - are you actively TTC or soon? (sorry!)
I'm ok, thanks - just want 2024 to come around, 2023 has been a bit of a difficult one so a fresh slate will be nice - hopefully only good things this coming year!

Good luck with the implant going out today! (it's Friday here already :)) - at least that way, if you do go ahead with wanting TTC, you'll be ready to go :)
Anyone else TTC here? MY 1st post m/c cycle started last week so will let this cycle go without ttc, and gear up to ttc on the January cycle - can't come fast enough! Like you said Isabellinhapm - only good things for 2024, let us hope :)

You can start counting down weeks now - you must be what, 30+ weeks now??

Yes the countdown is on 33 weeks now and planned c-section for March 26th. I am still feeling well working 12 hour days still. Just 3 more weeks then down to 10 hours till baby comes. I work from home having a daycare and teach kids sewing classes in the evenings so at least i am home with employees too most of the day :)
What cycle day are you? Are you trying anything differently this month?
