    Awww, just came across your thread in the new posts and as a fellow 'older mum' (I'm doing HT at the mo) that is lovely news.....and yes, I know so many people who it happened for once they stopped stressing - how wonderful for you - fab news!!! x
    Me - 40
    DH - 42

    5yrs 2yrs (HRC 2014 HT Princess)

    Cycle #1 HRC Oct 2013 - 21 eggs retrieved, 15 mature, 11 fertilised, 10 to Day 5 aCGH (5 boys, 5 girls) = NT, only 1 normal XY

    Cycle #2 HRC Jan 2014 - 32 eggs retrieved, 21 mature and fertilised, 19 to Day 5 aCGH (14 girls, 5 boys) = 4 normals (2 XX & 2XY) - transferred x1 HB - BFP (6dp 6dt) - Betas 280, 2160, 20736. 1 HB (128bpm) seen at 7 weeks.

    You give me so much hope. I too am 43 and am trying to decide how much longer to keep trying or to give up and be done once and for all. And I did give HT a go and ended up with nothing but a pile of debt. Over 35000.00 dollars in debt after all the cycles were a bust. FX and toes and everything that you have a healthy sticky bean in there

    I think me stressing over ttc was a lot to blame for not getting preg, so maybe if you take a step back and let go, it might help (easier said than done I know!) but really, I think it makes the difference. So sorry to hear about your HT journey
    but stay hopeful, if it happened for me it can happen for you xx

    Congrats! My Grandma got pregnant with twins naturally at 40 yrs old. That was yrs ago but it can happen. Hope you have a great pregnancy!

    Amazing, congratulations!!! I will tell all my friends over 40 who want to get pregnant, it will give them hope again! Thanks for sharing!
