Should we BD tonight?

I need some advice. We are swaying girl, and I need to know whether or not we should BD tonight. I have been getting positive OPKs for 10 days straight now, but yesterday's and today's were really dark. Also, I had a temp drop this morning, so I believe that I will be O'ing today or tonight. DH and I have BD'd every night for 10 nights, but last night he just could not ejaculate. He described it as his body just couldn't produce enough sperm (like there was no more to ejaculate). So, if we don't BD tonight and I O today or tonight we would have an O-2 cut-off. If we DTD tonight we would be very close to ovulation (I think).

Here are my other sway details:

LE diet
Cranberry, acidophilus, folic acid supplements
No exercise
Rephresh every 3 days (in morning, we BD in the evening)
Zyrtec (Reactine in Canada)
Breastfeeding
Peppermint Tea (at least 3 strong cups per day)
Tons of Crystal Lite
Vitex (1000 mg)
Jump and dump
If I O today I would be day 21 (I usually O on day 25)
DH takes a hot shower before DTD. He is a phys Ed teacher, and wears boxer-briefs. He also exercises frequently.


This is our second cycle trying.

Any advice is appreciated!

It depends how keen you are to get pregnant, and how much faith you put in timing.
If you want to get pregnant soonish, and/or are not a believer in timing then go for it.
Otherwise a 2day cut off is also fine (and technically in girl territory i think)

Your sway sounds similar to mine, and your DH's concerns sound like mine aswell! Mine did FR for 10 days, then BD for 5, and for the last couple of ejaculations (so half of our BD's) he said he felt it was just 'dribbling' out. We are on our 4th cycle - and it looks like this one was a failure too.

Looking at your sway, I think you are doing plenty of sperm reducing stuff in the way of jump and dump, and the refresh, and then there is the zrytec is also making things harder for the sperm......coupled with the fact that DH is struggling, i would say BD tonight, otherwise you might end up with very little chance of actually getting pregnant..

I would probably go for it, especially as you won't know for sure that you're about to O until after the event and I'd hate you to end up with a ridiculously long cut-off. The fact that your DH couldn't finish is a good sign that the FR is working anyway! It's all down to what you feel comfortable with though and whether you'd regret it if you conceived a boy this month. You could try and have him release once without DTD and then DTD as soon as possible after that - but it sounds like that might not be possible physically for him!

I would still BD tonight with everything you have working for you. He's probably going to have recovered enough to DTD tonight. I completely agree with Zana - just that he couldn't finish is a big indicator that the FR has already done what it was supposed to do.
