During routine maintenance, there was a virus that got into the tables that hold all of today's data from 6AM eastern time. The site is monitored 24x7 and it was picked up this afternoon when the virus started to show its head but the backup completed this morning and did not include today's activity. So, for now it is gone.

I thought we might be able to recover today's posts but I do not think we can because I am afraid they may be infected. It only affected the tables that hold the posts, nothing else...no user data.

I am so sorry for this. It has been a horrendous few hours here tonight behind the curtain and it's just not something we could have predicted and just had to react.

I lost a lot of posts personally and I know many of you did too. I'm so sorry for that.
