robitussin/gauifensin or preseed on clomid?
Hi
I am ttc for a girl and will be starting my first cycle on clomid. I was wondering if it would be better to use robitussin/gauifensin or preseed if I am having a little ewcm? I normally tend to have a lot of ewcm even on the diet. I am concerned about the ph of the preseed. I was thinking of just using half or less of an applicator during our attempt.... however, since my body has a low ph that if using robitussin would be better just to thin our what I have instead of using the preseed.
We are also dtd through ovulation...
Thank you for any help!!

I would not use the Robitussin (at least the first couple cycles), because the reason the Clomid sways pink (we believe) is because of the hostile CM it creates by blocking the estrogen. So if you use/take anything to mitigate that, you're kinda just undoing the benefits of the Clomid.
Preseed is in a different category because it helps the sperm to stay alive to make it into the hostile CM to begin with. The sperm will still have to swim all the way to the egg through the hostile CM. The Preseed will just help more sperm to stay alive in the vajayjay to make it into the hostile CM.!!! The pH is around the same as semen and CM is just naturally. It does sway blue under normal circumstances, but it WILL counteract the very low pH of your vaginal secretions and help enough sperm to stay alive so that SOMETHING will be left over to make it through the hostile CM that the Clomid will probably cause.
You don't want to kill off most of the sperm before they even make it to the cervix, because they still have a mighty rough journey ahead of them. Even under the best of circumstances, almost all sperm are killed before they ever make it to the egg. And taking Clomid really makes things much more difficult for them.!!! I just want to agree and say stay away from the Robitussin. Unknowingly, I used it both times when TTC and on clomid, and I have 2 little boys! I will be avoiding it next time around to get that girl! Good luck!
