Trying to sway blue this cycle

I am totally new to this thread but I have reading and staying tuned on some wonderful stories shared by you all and some tips as well.
I have a 6 year old daughter who is asking for a baby brother (I personally do not have a preference on gender)
After trying the shettle method for 2 months TTC a boy, I gave up, then I come across this website which donot talk about timing but number of attempts
I will be trying CD7, 9, 11, 13,14,15,16,17 (I usually get a +OPK on CD16)
Is that too much that it might sway pink ? Also, I am not going all out on the sway with diet and all . I am only taking EPO, robitussiin and pregnancy vitamins (Elevit in Australia)
(with my DD it was one attempt only in the fertile window)
Any suggestions would be much appreciated

These are just my thoughts so take or leave whatever you want.
O will usually be 24-48 hrs after +opk and the general recommendation is BD the night of +opk and twice the next day if you can. I'd ease up on the cd 13 and 14 attempts, mainly bc they are too far out from O to be serious attempts and if DH BDs 5 days straight he may run out of steam by the time O comes around. Perhaps BD cd 7, 10, 14, 15, 16, 17 is better? Or got by the recommendation above.

I want you to drop the EPO as it may sway pink.

I agree with Mia that if you really don't ovulate till the 17th then some of those earlier attempts may be overkill. So let's have you do more like this: 11, 13, 15, and then 16 (night) 17 (morning) 17 (Night) if you possibly can.

This would also work and possibly may be even better than my recommendation esp. if you do ovulate more like CD 16.

Thanks a lot for replying Atomic, I did drop the EPO
I ended up getting peak smiley face (i am using clear blue digital ovulation pack) very early morning on CD15

So summary of my BD is as follows:
CD 7, 9, 11, 13, 15 (both morning and night), 16 (manage night only)
But I know the signs of my body, and I am quite certain i ovulated the night of CD15. I wish I could BD on CD 14 as well but I was dead exhauted and ended up falling asleep early lol and DH did not wake me up

I hope I managed to catch that egg this month - will update in 2 weeks i guess (hoping not to test at all until late AF )

Thanks atomic. As much as I am looking forward to the bfp, I am also quite apprehensive because with my daughter, I had a very difficult delivery (forceps delivery) tearing my gall bladder. That's probably why I have left 6 years gap before deciding to try for second one. I have also been told that I can never have a natural delivery after my first one.so was a quite traumatic experience for me if you know what I mean.
Also I wanted to ask if the every other day method does not work for me to get a bfp this cycle, I was thinking of doing everyday bd since I get the flashing smiley face to full smiley face which I guess would be 5 days straight in the fertile window. Do you think that is a good idea to sway blue? Thanks for feedback and suggestions.

Oh my gosh how awful. I hope and pray your next delivery is easier!!!

I don't like every day BD unless you're CERTAIN you're in the fertile window (O-3 through O Day). The reason is because we cannot know in advance when you'll ovulate.

Since many days of sex in a row may possibly sway pink, (because most of the sperm will have died off before the egg shows up) if your ovulation was delayed and your husband had been releasing all that time, by the time the egg shows up, his sperm count may be lower and most of the early attempts will not have been viable.

And that is IF he can keep going with it, because many guys can't. We've had people try this and then end up with only one viable attempt in the fertile window (many attempts before the fertile window, but those sperm would all have died off), and then their husband runs out of steam and can't have sex any more or can't ejaculate.

So I like you guys to stick with every other day till you're sure that the fertile window has opened. Since sometimes we can get many days of flashy smiley before peak, I would like you to stick with every other day durign the flashy days, to let his sperm numbers build back up again and to save his energy for when it counts - when we're sure we're in the fertile window.
