Help :/ TTC a girl. new & confused!
Quick run down: I have a son who is 21 months, we want one more baby and are dreaming of a girl to complete our family.
I am a little late for diet change, as we'd like to start TTC this cycle (AF ends tomorrow) best tips for a sway this cycle?
Husband is 37, I am 27, Both fairly normal weight, we don't drink (husband has a few beers per week with dinner) or smoke. Appreciate any and all advice, I am so lost when it comes to most of this :/!

If you must have an attempt this month the most important thing is to stick with one attempt. For reasons we can only guess at, one attempt has been a strong pink sway for us. Just have one attempt 1 day before O if you don't care about timing, and 2-3 days before O if you do care about timing.

Thank you! Should I wait for positive OPK for the one attempt, or just plan it for 2 or so days before? Also, should we make sure he has some sort of release before DTD again, last time was 4 days ago on the 23rd (once in afternoon, once late night, close to midnight), Or is abstaining good for our girl chances?

Have the attempt 1 day before O (day of positive OPK) if you don't care about timing and 2-3 days before O if you do. It's totally up to you, your sway your way!
If hubby has issues with sperm health or has trouble performing (either erection-wise or ejacluating daily) have him release once every 2-4 days to keep the pipes clear. If he doesn't and he wants to (this is really quite stressful and it hasn't worked anyway) he can release once a day from now till attempt. This can really cut odds of conception.

Hi atomic! I have another question for you! My OPKS turned out no so reliable, (maybe it was brand, this was my first time using them) anyway, I never got a positive, and sometimes nothing showed up at alll, not even a control line. So, I kind of threw those out the window since I tend to have a regular 29 day cycle on average. With that assumption, I expected to Ovulate on the 2nd. Our attempt was made late in the evening on the 30th, (it was approx. between 11-11:45PM) I definitely had EWCM on this day and the day prior, but the most was definitely on the 30th. After that I had maybe one more day of clear, but not as stretchy (sorry
)CM. Then yesterday, and slightly the day before I had a good amount of yellowish CM. I have read that this Is this normal? But did I possibly miss ovulation, or is it more likely I ovulated a few days early this time? TIA

It's possible that you Oed early or late. I can't say from here. EWCM consistency has been proven in studies to be unreliable for pinning down O (believe it or not, if you usually have a 29 day cycle, that is actually more reliable than CM consistency, even though that can change too, CM is much harder to figure out and much less reliable)
So, since I can't say from here, I'll wish you good luck and hopefully we'll see a BFP soon!

Ok so maybe I'm crazy. I've never tested this early in a cycle, with my son I found out 2 days prior to my missed period. My period is expected in 6 days, I took several negative last month with the same test and so no trace of a line, but today for some reason I couldn't get wanting to test out of my head. So I did, and either my eyes are playing tricks or there is the FAINTEST of lines here. Curious if you can also see it!
