Anyone measure ahead, see a white dot, & have a girl?
Hi! So at my NT scan I measured 14 weeks and 1 day. While I am sure I am only 13 weeks and 3 or 4 days. Baby looked delicate just tall. My kids aren't tall, neither am I ( not at all) but Dh is and so is his brother. 6 feet and 6'4. So the "tall gene" is definitely there.
Good thing is that the tech didn't see anything at all between the legs. At the very end she said she saw a white dot. And that it could develop into girl or boy parts. Anyone see this before?
My friend that is pregnant ( same exact due date as me) went for a scan at 13 weeks and 6 days. The tech said she was most likely having a boy because something was sticking out between the legs. Ahh, glad my tech didn't see anything!

Don't know about a white dot, but the I am carrying right how was measuring 5 days ahead at my CVS, which was at 12 weeks. And my other two daughters have always been tiny--on the lower end of the percentile charts their whole lives. I know boys tend to be larger at birth, but I don't think that holds true, at all, this early in pg.

I measured really far ahead (weeks) with one of the boys. Not to burst your bubble... I just don't think you can put stock into that for gender revealing purposes.

That's ok! As long as the fact that the baby measured 4-5 days ahead doesn't mean anything gender wise either way, I'm happy . I always measured spot on with my DS and small with my DD. Never ahead. Bet this baby got my dh's tall genes! Boy or girl :P

My daughter is really tall... she gets it from her Daddy. She's the only tall child I have (so far). And the only child I have that looks EXACTLY like her daddy. Go figure- my only girl!

Aw, that's cute though! . My DD looks just like me so if I have another I wouldn't mind her looking just like her daddy, he's very handsome!! Hehe

Measuring ahead or behind doesn't seem to impact gender. I measured on time with my first, way ahead with my second and they were both boys. I am measuring a little behind this time, but don't know the gender.
A good friend of mine measured biggest with her daughter...who is really tall, but not big otherwise. Her three sons were and are average size. Her daughter was biggest at birth as well. I think it all depends on baby genetics and girls can get height too (coming from a rather tall girl here).
Good luck with getting your girl!A: "Owner" of the following brood:

We may be done, we may come back for one more sway. Time will tell. At the moment, we are very content with our family!

Hi everyone, I gave birth to my first lovely daughter in September. I was wondering what would be the best timing to start trying for another girl? Would that be a year after giving birth, 18 months...
Best timing for ttc girl after...
