Ooo i like this. I'm a nurse and they've started giving me more night shifts. I was complaining about this but I won't anymore ;)

Normally I could sleep for Britain, certainly on the weekends. I usually get up at least once during the night (as most females do!). The last few weeks, however, my sleep has been awful because of the hot weather. Even if I don't find it hot, DH does and spend the nights tossing and turning. Then I hurt my foot and has been keeping me up. Wondering if it was enough to help sway...
Very Interesting. I will definitely factor this into my sway!!
All the waking up at eating in the middle of night to fast might help ;) good to hear!
My boys are 15 months apart. I really dislike the term Irish twins.
My 10 months old DS2 wakes very early in the morning 5/6o clock!! He doesnt wake up at night , i get 6/7 jours of sleep a day. Is that swaying girl too?
I'm thinking it's interrupted sleep that sways x
Interrupted or less hours, either way I think the effect would be much the same. ;)
Pseudotwins in Norweigan of course "pseudotvillinger" ;)
Sorry I didn't mean to offend. I wasn't aware of any other term for it. :worry:
About the caffeine and the fussiness...my younger son has been very difficult. He seems to be sensitive to lots of things. I stay away from milk and most caffeine sources, including chocolate. Coffee especially seems to cause him to be fussy. I think it may have to do with that I avoided all of that during pregnancy and most of the time anyway. He has pretty bad reflux and he's on medication but maybe it's not enough at times.
Oh I'm not Irish, I'm not offended at all. I think I just dislike the term because it usually comes with a "wow, you had them so close. Was that on purpose" sort of vibe.
now i'm stressful with a lot of work!
and i'm ttc a boy
no sleeping really sways pink?
thanks for this forum
this is mega interesting, late nights for me it is then lol x
Well DS started sleeping through 4 months ago so as I am still on maternity leave I am getting more sleep than when he was conceived! About 7-8 hours a night. When he was conceived I was probably getting 6-7 hours a night, which will be the case when I go back to work. Hopefully my body has gotten used to the 7-8 hours a night and will interpret an hour or two less per night as declining condition once we decide to go for it ;)
Along with a different diet and exercise of course!
becca.lms your boys are gorgeous and so cute together!!! Your photo makes me want a boy so my son can have a brother!!!! Thanks!
Wow I'm a shoe in for pink then, my ds2 hasn't slept more than 5 hours straight in the 2 years ive been blessed tobehis mum.
Before I got my two boys i slept a minimum of nine hours per day. After my first one, i BF him once a night, but he slept through the night from 5 weeks - 5 months, then woke at night until 8 months, and then again from 11 months. But he was a very good sleeper overall and i managed to get 9 hours of sleep when i conceived my second when my oldes was 12 months.
My second boy i BF at night until 5 months and then only occasionally (when ill or something like that). But he clustered until 17 months so i hardly was in bed before 23.00 hours. I woke up at 6.00 hours as i had to go to work. But in the weekend and when i was at home, i easily slept until 8.00 hours. (we're blessed with very well sleeping kids)
In the last year i had a lot of work stress which drove me near nervous breakdown almost twice. I slept horribly! With night wakings and talkings in my sleep. It was so worse that DH was often mad at me for waking him, or crawling over him to just avoid all those scary monsters that i dreamed of! LOL
Since my sway i didn't go to bed before 23.00 hours. Since three weeks i lost my job so i am at home. I still get a lot of sleep but i am still talking in my sleep and wake often (have to finish my dissertation). Together with that i am absolutely feeling exhausted due to the diet in combination with exercise it give me confidence i am in declining condition. So i incorporate deprived sleep sort of half in my sway. I tried to set my alarm at 7.00 hours but it is not possible, i can't stand on my feet when i do that. I think we have to do what's possible in our own situation.
Really looking forward to getting pregnant now; i am going to sleep, sleep, sleep and eat, eat, eat, and dropping the intense exercise routine. Can't wait!
I hear you with the intense exercise, I am walking 10 km a day pushing a pram!! I dont get much sleep at all its hard to get through the day. I know my body is tired and lacking alot of things! Too bad i am not ttc right now!
