    Just A couple questions!

    Hi Atomic,
I've poured over this website for the past couple weeks sucking up all of the knowledge I can! I'm so thankful that you have put so much time into researching and then creating optimal boy & girl sway techniques (that work!) Hubby and I are going to try and sway for a girl, I just have 2 questions

    1. I had a miscarriage last month and after looking at the girl sway stats I see that 75% of women who conceived the very next month after a MC had girls, I also read somewhere where you said you think later MCs are more likely to sway girl than chemicals. (The stats do not say how far the women were) I was only around 5-6 weeks, so my question is, which would be better, attempting this cycle knowing that I would only be on the diet for 2-3 weeks (but have the added sway factor of a MC) or waiting until next month (or longer) when I would be on the diet longer?

    2. My 2nd question is what do you think the best attempt is for a couple (both 30 years old) hubby is taking licorice root and Benadryl, I am only taking Zyrtec, I am following the diet pretty strictly but hubby is not very strict. I am not using OPKs but I definitely could start. Do you recommend every 4 days, every 3, everyday with shallow release and/or jump and dump or none of these?

    Hi and welcome Moe!

1)This is one of those crystal ball questions that I honestly do not know the answer to. I really don't have a feel for it either way and in that case, when I honestly don't know, I have to throw the question back to you - follow what your gut and heart is telling you.

2)Hubs doesn't need to do diet like you, if he makes any changes it's all gravy. I would recommend starting off with either one attempt at pos OPK or every 4 days. DO NOT DTD every day.

I would wait to TTC until you have at least 12w on the diet, as most pink swayers who got girls after MCs had been on the diet for a while before they got pregnant, unlike you.

I'd try at least 3 cycles of one attempt at pos OPK before adding attempts.

    Good luck!

    My Ovulation Chart
currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP

TTC #1 - swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!

Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic

Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period
