1. I can't skip breakfast, I work through until 3.30 with no break. Will this seriously hurt my sway?
2. My partner drinks a protien shake before bed, does this matter?
3. I'm due to ovulate between 13-18th feb. I've been testing with opk. It's digital smiley face one. But I'm worrying I've missed it! (just scared I think!) i know they say ignore the lines. But I have one strong line one faint line. Do you think I still may ovulate?
4. I've been invited out on a pub crawl Saturday (when ovulation is actually meant to happen!!) I don't want to drink alcohol. What can I drink? What will be best for my ph? I'm sure they don't have low sugar cranberry juice. Only normal. What excuses can I make ??

1)no, some people can't. It's just something that may help and can't hurt. If you are able to, you could skip lunch or dinner, or simply avoid snacks and stick to 3 meals a day. All are good options.
You may want to eat either JUST protein or JUST carbs for breakfast...may be a bit more forgiving to your blood sugar. The other meals you can have both protein and carbs.
2)DH taking a lot of vitamins (and most of the protein shakes are fortified) can up his sperm count and sway blue, but sometimes you ahve to pick your battles where partners are concerned!!
3)You will still ovulate! test isn't positive till you get both lines equally dark (or test line even darker). That's totally normal.
4)Hopefully I'm not too late for the pub crawl question but I think it's fine to have some beer. I drank it regularly when I TTC my DD and by the time O is nigh, you're not going to alter anything anyway. If you don't want alcohol, have some diet soda like diet Coke instead.!!!
