Hobb , you sound JUST like me!!! I am the exact same as you not just with the swaying thing but everything in life I am a very negative person and my d/h tells me that things dont go my way because I am so negative. I know already before I even have more kids that I wont ever get a girl even if I have 6 more kids , I dont know If I would even sway ever again because nothing would work for me anyway!

In saying that I hope you get your boy and you have a very good chance at it anyway because you have already had a boy before!!!

Pinkin, it isn't very fun being negative, is it? I am always trying to look at the bright side, but I never seem to see it.

I really hope you get your girl someday. It seems so unfair that we can't just have what we want!

My baby has been confirmed LGA via scans

Does that mean large for gestational age? So how long max will they let you carry him? Will you be able to deliver vaginally if you want?

I have my scan tomorrow morning at 10:30 EST. They don't give any medical info in scans here, though, so I won't get the results until my mw appt next Wednesday unless they find something that needs to be dealt with urgently.

And thanks for the encouragement everyone! Today my very sweet friend offered to watch DS1 while I have my 3-hour test done. THANK GOODNESS. I was freaking out about how to keep him entertained... and now I get to knit and read my book the whole time without a worry. YAY!

I may be wrong, but I *believe* that a two-hour test is the new standard for most places (I think as of 2011?). A lot of clinics and such haven't updated their procedures yet. For my 3-hour test, they told me I will be there for probably 4 hours...so I would assume that your "3 hours" actually means the two hour test itself? Ha! I'm so much help! LOL
