Niva great news! I'm terrible at drinking too but get quite thirsty pregnant. Dreamofpink sorry to hear that you are feeling a bit lonely. I go through moments like that too. Hugs.

I'm so paranoid about losing this baby as had a chemical in march and two before sticky ds3. There was the tiniest big of pinky mucus today but I figure since I still feel I want to spew my guts then I'm ok. FX these babies are not too tricksy! I spotted with all my boys and it was so stressful especially as ds3 prob had a lost twin. Trying not to obsess but its very hard. Good luck to all x

Well, thanks for that. Not only are you telling me that I may not be carrying a girl, but you are also giving me the strong impression that you'd like us to have a little girl.

Now they don't even know that we'd love to have a little girl, nevermind that we swayed, but this really annoyed me.

Had the same thing today with my mum! She said (with a look of disappointment on her face) that she is sure I am having a boy, I replied that I did 2 and it didn't improve her mood! Arggggggghhhhhhhhhh

Dreamofpink, I had a successful VBAC with DS1, was definitely worth it! I know two families that home school their children, parents and kids seem to really enjoy it!

Any one else eating like a horse? I'm eating sooooo much and none of it good, craving sweet things and carbs, gonna be the size of a house at this rate!

2lovelyboys, other people's comments can be so insensitive can't they?! You have a great chance of a so don't let it get you down. You obviously need the extra cals at the moment, I really think that's a side-effect of being on LE. Don't worry too much, I think if you listen to your body you won't put lots of extra weight on through the pg.
We love home-edding too and our boys really like it, it's just frustrating being in a rural town away from two big home-ed groups. When we do move, it'll make the home-ed fantastic for us, it's just being stuck out in the sticks and not being able to afford the petrol to travel here, there & everywhere for meet-ups. I have to stay positive though as it will change for the better...it's just when!
Big congrats on your VBAC with ds2, it must be a wonderful feeling! I tried for a VBAC with ds2, but it didn't happen as I'd had a rather painful internal examination from a rather heavy handed doc on my due date and my waters went that night. I wasn't ready, as labour didn't progress and after 36 hours I ended up reluctantly having another c-section.

Niva, we must've been posting at the same time last night. I'm so glad that your blood numbers are going up really well! That's so positive and sounds like you have a real sticky bean in there!

How've you been today Waiting4daisy? Hope you've had no more pink mucus. Spotting must be quite frightening and I hope you don't have any this time around.

It's a terrible feeling when people predict more boys for you -- you're already trying so hard to keep hope that a girl could be in your future! I sympathize. Luckily my mom is a little more subtle about it, but she knows I want a girl (I confided in her during my GD with ds1) and she's already trying to make me feel okay about having another boy -- just in case. I know I'll be fine with another boy, but I don't want to dwell on it right now. I'm purposely waiting to find out gender just to keep myself from dwelling on it! (I tend to cause myself way too much in-advance worry, but I'm always fine with things in the moment, so that's why I'm going team green.)

I can tell you from the kids' perspective, dreamofpink, your boys are probably not minding the home-ed challenges as much as you are. I was always completely oblivious to how different my family was from others, and we had many of the same restrictions you have now -- living in the sticks, not having money for every opportunity, and not seeing certain people/friends except a few times a year. It just meant we had more time to go deeply into our own projects, so we didn't mind at all. I'm happy for you that you do see a brighter place down the road -- hope it comes soon for you!

We have another parallel, dreamofpink -- my labor with ds1 sounds very much like yours! I have always thought it was the rough internal exam that caused my water to break later that night, and it was only by the skin of my teeth (and a lot of pitocin and therefore an epidural, which I hadn't wanted) that I managed to push out ds1 after 23 hours. And apparently I'm an awesome pusher, thank goodness. But I'm still mad at that OB for starting my labor before my body was ready -- I think she probably stripped the membranes without telling me, even though she knew I didn't want ANY interventions. This time, I found myself a midwife.

Daisy, hope your spotting has stopped. My one chemical has made me very cautious about this pregnancy too -- I know how you feel. I will post tomorrow with the follow-up numbers, and then I get the heartbeat scan a week from tomorrow. If all is well then, I hope I can let myself relax and start to believe it's for real!

Ttcpink, did you catch the O this time? How many attempts are you doing?
Bunnywabbit, any news? Was it AF or implantation spotting?

2lovelyboys, today was the first day I totally pigged out since stopping the LE diet. I just haven't been hungry at all, even for things I usually can't get enough of. But today we went to my favorite Thai restaurant and I ate more than I would have in two days on the diet. I do hope I don't put on a lot of weight early in the pregnancy, though. Last time I did, and although my total weight gain was not too obnoxious (35 lbs), I spent well past the first trimester simply looking chubby instead of pregnant. I'd love to be that fit-looking girl with an obvious bump, for once! I feel like the LE diet is a double-edged sword -- it has finally given me that chance (I'm still 12lbs below my conception weight for ds1), but I've already gained 3 lbs back simply by eating healthfully again.
DS is nearly 3 yo. Swayed for a , but we are absolutely delighted to be welcoming a , sweet little brother for DS.
Jan: started LE diet. Feb & March: BFNs. Chemical in April.
May: Appendicitis at 9dpo; hospital blood test was BFN.
Absolutely shocked by a BFP after I got home from the appendectomy. Luckily, the pregnancy was not affected in any way by this early experience. He's a healthy, robust little one!

Niva, I thought you may have been another one who won't find out until birth. I will update the 1st post accordingly. Fingers crossed for some good blood results to put your mind at rest a bit until the scan.

Daisy, hoping the spotting has still stayed away.

Dreamofpink, sorry to hear you are feeling a bit stressed and lonely at the moment.

2lb, sorry you had similar comments. People including family should just think sometimes and keep their comments to themselves.

TTCPink, have you ovulated yet? I hope you catch your little pink eggy this cycle.

bunnywabbit, any news? If this wasn't your month, the next one has got to be the one for you.

Cagirl, when are you due back and can I add you to the 1st post?

Everyone else and hope you are doing well.

As for me: I am 9 weeks exactly today, baby is now the size of a green olive. Woohoo!

I'm finally booked in! I'm now officially pregnant hahaha... Can't believe I've had to wait a day shy of 12 weeks to see anybody! Apparently she's been on holiday for two weeks!

I've caught a bug and been being sick which is why I have been quiet. Hope everyone is ok

Thanks, GeCon. Yeah, AF has stopped by. Holy cramping, much! Had less pain when I m/c. Willing it to end and have calculated my new due date for next cycle.
