Kat- we are actually far out from ttc! My husband and I are going to Italy at the end of the summer and we are leaving our girls with grandparents! I don't want to be pregnant on our time away from the kiddos so we will start trying this fall! September or October! I am pre swaying though, started weights a while ago and am eating all blue friendly foods just not the high calorie intake atm.
How exciting you are starting this cycle!! I wish you lots of luck!! [emoji5]

Sorry to jump in with a totally random topic, I was just hoping others may share some opinions and suggestions with me
I find myself eating a lot of the same things every day (in order to get a wide variety of vitamins and nutrients- I use my fitness pal) for example, caloric intake is high, no problem there, but I've had shredded cheese, banana, apple, lettuce, tomatoe, potatoes, carrots and hamburger every day for the past 4 days. Is this a good thing or a bad thing, or does it make a difference you think? I figured as long as nutrition was great and my eating routine always meets the HE guidelines, it should be a good thing. Or do you think I need to widen the variety of foods I eat, and try to get that same level of nutrition from some other fruits/vegetables?Happily MarriedSince 2012

I eat overnight oats one day for breakfast and cereals the next day. Eggs and multigrain bread when I am too lazy to cook. I drink coconut milk, banana, spinach and dates smoothie. It's filling and I think in line with sway and not to mention delicious. I cook red meat and bake chicken a couple of times in a week. Also make lentils at home. Will mention if I remember anything else.

You could maybe add in some dried fruits for snacks, apricots, figs and dates are all excellent sources of a little new extra something for your body
The HE diet and idea comes from the findings about how the higher ranking female members of monkey and ape groups have more sons, so it would add to reason that as you have all know become top ranking members of your own group
that all new high nutrient foods come to your first, hopefully your body picks up on this and sends that little boy your way! Sorry, went off on a little tangent there lol

Oh I hope so! I have very high hopes for this diet since discovering swaying. Right away I realized I had a very pro-girl lifestyle. I have yet to find one single thing I did with my previous pregnancies that pointed to a boy. This is all such a big change for me, I feel in my heart that it is the difference! I'm so thankful for this site and all the help I receive using it!

I second the smoothie idea as a quick delicious way to incorporate more nutrients! I do coconut water(8oz), large handfuls of baby spinach and baby kale, and about half a cup of frozen blueberries, right now I'm adding some protein powder to mine cause I drink it right after working out but I'm not ttc till this fall, I think I will replace the protein powder with a scoop of almond butter when we get closer to sway time.
