DH and I only use condom for birth control. I've seen women on here talk about a progrsterone pill for swaying pink. What's this all about? It's a BC pill, right? Is this something I should think about adding to my sway?

No a progesterone pill is something women with low progesterone take to help maintain a pregnancy. Low progesterone can cause miscarriage.

There is a theory that higher than normal progesterone sways pink. I personally find the info on this theory to be highly sketchy to start out with, and the idea is pretty much a bunch of desperate gals misinterpreting what a highly sketchy theory said.
There are two kinds of prog pills - one is the kind women take to maintain pg (and I do not want anyone using that for swaying)
The other type is the minipill BCP. I believe that all birth control pills sway pink and we played a bit with using them as a sway tactic. But after a few people tried it, I felt that there were barely any BFP and a couple of miscarriages, another person got a boy, and I have moved away from using them for swaying alone. I do still often have people who were already using them as birth control, take 6them into consideration for their sway (and I can go into that in more detail if anyone wants me to) but I am no longer having anyone start them solely for hte purposes of swaying.
I can't say as to whether you or anyone else should use any tactic without a custom sway questionnaire, there are some things that are not right for people and I just can't give anyone a blanket reply without knowing more.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Probably the progesterone-only BCP is what they were talking about. I was on it anyway for birth control while I was breastfeeding DS2, so I decided to take it until CD1 when TTC. I agree with atomic that going on the minipill for swaying purposes might not be the best idea because every woman's body is different and some women have a hard time getting pg right off the pill. I think that one of the biggest enemies of a sway is a delay in conception. We get tired if the diet, tired of the pressure and exercise and supplements, and a lot of the women who were adamant that they could go until menopause without a BFP if it meant not getting pg with another boy end up saying that they just want a baby and drop the diet and everything else to get an opposite.
I think it sways pink, but so do so may other things that don't have the same chances of delaying conception. My Gender Dream came true, my family is complete!
