Ovulation came early!

Soo, background first:

100mg clomid, no o on 50. No supplements, very little lube. We dtd on tuesday night, planned again for Saturday late evening, as im supposed to ovulate sunday.

Nope. Nothing goes as planned.

Got a positive opk this morning at 11. Very dark! Yay!

But...is Tuesdays sex too early to catch the egg? Tmi: missonary and finished deep, so def close to cervix.

Should we cover and dtd tonight or tomorrow or just hope tuesday works?

I don't care the gender at this point, its my dh who is desperate for a girl. I mean desperate.

Any advice?

Hi there! If your taking clomid to help o and didn't on a 50 dose then I personally definately wouldn't risk this cycle with just one attempt 4-o. I would for sure dtd today/tonight especially as you have a strong pos opk. You've already got clomid on your side (pink wise) and e3d is what some pink swayers that struggle to conceive end up doing anyway. Good luck, pink dust and let us know what you decide!

Well dh didnt get hom from his business trip until 4 am so we dtd first thing thjs morning (still within 24 hrs of surge) sooo lets hope!

Yes you did exactly what I'd have recommended and now I want you to pick it up again with the every 4 days pattern, since you DTD on Tues that means attempt on Sat!!! Keep going with e4d even after you think you've Oed.

Well we attempted today, so now itll be back toe4d. Right?

Yes but I want you to pick up the e4d with the pattern you were ALREADY doing which is 4 days after your last e4d attempt, that meant TODAY have another attempt. That is the e4d plus one more attempt at pos OPK pattern. I want you to continue doing the e4d and then ADD that extra attempt, but keep going with e4d

My point is, don't start doing every 4th day counting from Friday. That was your additional attempt. You should be adding that to the every 4 day pattern (which was Tues, Sat, again on Wed, etc.)

UPDATE!!!

False Pos OPK, Ovulated on the 27th, CD 20. So we DTD only once on the 26th. So only one attempt.

Found out may 8th, mothers day. I am PREGNANT!!! And so far, blood work looks great! I am soo excited!!
