Is 2 weeks enough?
Hello Ladies,
I was wondering if anyone had success trying for a boy in only two weeks? I know the diet is reccomended for 6 weeks. I just got my first AF after a 5 week loss, and I gained 10lbs (including muscle from yoga), so I have sort of been on the HE but also consuming sugar and coffee (after loss). If I follow the rules for boy strictly for the next two weeks is there hope? I have pressed already.
My oldest was a clomid baby and my second was a surprise pull out baby (best surprise ever...be once 5 days before o AND pull out method).
Question about green tea. I have been drinking caffeinated, is that hurting anything? 1-4 cups a day.2010

There is always a chance even if you didn't sway. Swaying will increase your odds and 6 weeks is recommended but that being said you always have a chance.
I'm sorry for your loss and wish you good luck!!
The loss may work against you it may sway pink.

If the priority is the sway, no, two weeks is not enough. If just getting pregnant now is the priority, there is always a chance at getting your desired gender!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I just experienced one as well and it's so devastating.
For swaying blue, Atomic says to at least wait one cycle after a miscarriage as the first cycle (or two) after miscarriage really does seem to sway pink.
If getting pregnant now is your main priority then I wouldn't wait, but if you really want a boy then I'd wait it out this first cycle, which would equal about 6 weeks till your next attempt probably.Me: 35 years old. Was an infant nanny and birth and postpartum doula. Now a full time SAHM.

There is always a chance. Ideally I would have you wait though because not only is it a "hurry up" sway but also because you recently had a loss and that may sway pink to some greater or lesser extent.
Caff green tea is fine but I would prob. have you stick with 2 c a day and not 4!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Thank you all very much for your replies and help. essnce629 I am so sorry for your loss as well. It is so hard. Hope the next time goes perfectly for both of us.
Ok, so it looks like I need to sit this month out. I really want to be pregnant again, but DH would like to give it our best shot for a boy. So December sway would make it 6 weeks on the diet and the third cycle after m/c. DH will be gone for January so I hope it works in December.
Thank you again for your help.2010
