Stinging nettle
Hi atomic,
I started temping this month and cd 2,3,4 temps were all above 97.5. This is not the same as 3 years ago.
I am on Synthroid 25mcg now. Wonder if that is the reason
I have also been taking iron supplement (rainbow light complete iron) for the past two months due to very low ferritin levels. It has stinging nettle (leaf) 4:1 extract. Could that be lowering my estrogen?
I will stop using the iron. But I wonder how long the effect of that sting nettle be on my levels.

WHY would you stop using iron if you have low levels???? I would like to see you use something that is not herb based because herbs may have side effects that we don't understand, but PLEASE continue some kind of iron for your health.
9 million things can change in 3 years' time. Thyroid is among the largest things that affects temperatures and yes it very well may be because of the Synthroid.
But please try to keep this into perspective, you are talking about 3 days here and your temps are TOTALLY NORMAL. 97.5 and above is a normal human temperature. There is nothing wrong with you for your health or for your sway.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Thanks Atomic. Yes I do plan to switch to a different supplement for sure. My hair loss is beyond control. I was curious about the temps being high because I remember reading higher pre-o temps means girl cycle/low estrogen.

That is just speculation with little to no data backing it up. bEing on thyroid medication completely changes what your temps might be.
TEll me more about your hair loss, have you just had a baby or come off hormonal birth control?? You may want to mention it to your doctor as your thyroid levels may be off.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

My thyroid levels including T3 have gotten better with Thyroid meds. I don't take hormonal BCP. Not recently delivered either. Now I am concentrating on eating well and will see if there is any improvement.

I would ask the doctor about the hair loss, it is probably nothing to worry about but worth a mention.
