DHEA for low testosterone
Hi Atomic,
Just wondering what your thoughts are on dhea for low testosterone. My results have come back soo low (below normal low) my doctor has me on a low dose. This happened before ttc my 1 girls. I'm a bit unsure about taking it this time around as we are thinking of doing HT and there are mixed reports with using it.. I've read there is a link between low testosterone and dimished ovarian reserve so am a bit worried

If you are on the DHEA under the care of a doc doing blood tests then I'm fine with that (I do NOT want people deciding they need this supplement on their own and taking it without a doctor monitoring them, though!)
A lot of people have sworn by it for IVF rounds, I know nuthinbutpink used it when she was trying for her boy!

Thanks Atomic
Yes definitely under the guidance of a Dr doing blood tests
I don't think you can access it in Aus without a Drs prescription.
Good to know there have been some good results too!

Yes, it depends on what country you are in. I can buy it at the grocery store LOL (really! right by the Flintstones vitamins). So sometimes people will take it because they've heard "oh this helps IVF/egg quality" but this can be risky because if you take it when you don't need it, it can mess things up and cause worse results with IVF and reduce egg quality.
So happy for you Treens, congratulations Sent from my SM-A225F using Tapatalk
