    Ovulation

Hi. We are ttc boy on the 22nd of this month. I have been tracking my ovulation for the past 5 months with opk. I usually ov on cd 17. I get + opk on cd 16 nite or cd 17 morning and get ov pains usually 5 or 6 hours later. Yesterday evening, cd 13, I had some pain on one side. It felt like ov pain for a hr or so, but -opk. But i did do bsf for the 3rd time. Is it possible I ovulated early.

    Thanks for ur help.

I've never used OPK's (but will start when trying for my 5th). But most girls use other signs as well to track ovulation - do you have EWCM? What's your cervix like? Are you doing BBT's? It certainly is possible to O early, for me the only way to know for sure (outside of severe O pains) is when my temps rise that I have O'd already. But if you have EWCM and cervix is HSO, I would DTD and keep monitoring OPK's and BBT. O pains can come several days before you O, so I wouldn't rely on them only.

You probably haven't Oed yet. Ovulation pains can happen before, during or after ov. Keep checking with OPKs!

I don't think you probably Oed - that BSF does some crazy stuff to people. You can have O pains before, during and after ovulation and it may be that your body is just getting ready.

Here's an essay that may help!
