Getting older and not getting pregnant
So we have been TTC for 3 months unsuccessfully, but this month my cycle went from 25-26 days down to 22. My LP was still 11 days, we dtd the night before O, used Rephresh the day before and now I am getting worried that I won't be able to get pregnant before my 40th birthday cutoff. Actually it's my DH's idea to cut off TTC when I hit 40.... so that leaves me to try December through April. I am going to quit the Rephresh this next time and want to increase the overall chance of getting pregnant, even if it decreases the chance for a girl.
Does the diet decrease pregnancy chance? Should I still do the diet?
I am doing baby aspirin, is that decreasing my chance of a bfp?
I didn't J&D this month to increase my chances, so I am going to not J&D anymore.
Any other ideas to increase chances of pregnancy without flat out swaying blue?
If I needed to cut down my sway to the minimum without compromising chances of getting pregnant at all, what would you all suggest?
Thanks to all of you....I always just feel so bummed with AF shows, especially when I see my cycle getting shorter, me getting older and reading perimenapausal articles.....

Well not what you want to hear, unfortunately, but pretty much all the pink sway stuff will reduce fertility since that's kind of the point. Some in a broader sense (like the diet) and some in the more immediate sense (like FR and anything else that would reduce sperm count).
In your case I would highly recommend keeping the LE diet but dropping pretty much everything else. Diet sways the most anyways. So that would include dropping all frequency strategies (abstaining or frequent release or limiting attempts), Refresh and lubes, any supps that limit things for DH like Licorice Root. You can keep Vitex if you've been using it, and aspirin should be fine too.
So in other words, just bd everyday starting from +OPK through your confirmed temp rise. You've been limiting your chances a LOT with the single attempts and it's time to give yourself a better shot since you don't have much time.
Might be time to see if you can get in with an RE too, if you are having healthy egg issues then Clomid or other meds might be called for. Not only would this help your chances but it would sway pink too.Me (38) and DH (38)

So AF is gone and I should O in 6 -7 days. I have been doing better on the diet, no breakfast, lowered calories, protein, fat, but not so great on the sodium. I should get a pos OPK this Saturday or Sunday, so once I see that we'll dtd through O. Keeping my fingers crossed!

FX for you!
Don't worry about the sodium, it's not a sway really. Many, if not most, of us have blown through our sodium limits, lol.Me (38) and DH (38)
