going off pill first time - gender sway help!
Hi there
Im new to this forum and Im hoping someone can shed some light on a question or 2 I have.
I am getting married in April this year! and we've decided to try for a baby straight away.
I really would love a girl! All my friends have boys (not that there is anything wrong with that).
If I go off the pill after the wedding like planned, how will I know the best days to try for a girl as I probably wont have got my period and dont really want to wait to work out when ill be ovulating.
The dr said you can be quite fertile just coming off the pil so want to stick with that plan, however want to sway a girl! Any ideas? Ill be trying the diet and supplements so hopefully that will help
Thanks!

you can use OPKs to give you a little advanced warning as to when OV will come... or do the old fashioned way and monitor CM. When it goes stretchy and clear (like egg white, so it's called EWCM) that's when you're fertile. So you'd want to DTD then and probably take an antihistamine to dry it up a bit too. Then again, the diet can also cause less CM so that's why the OPKs can help.
there's no girl timing really, just frequency of release/BDing. DTD every other day sways blue, so you'd either want OH to abstain for a release for a week which likely won't be practical if you don't know when you'll OV, or to release every day if he can. Again, this could be for quite a few weeks on end if you don't OV and some men can't manage that. The 3rd option is compressed FR - you get OH to release and discard (once or twice close together) then aim to DTD within 8hrs of this and that way you can time it when you get a pos OPK.

Also worth noting it can take longer than 28 days for your regular cycle to get back to normal ( mine was more like 5-6 weeks long) x x

Unfortunately there are no simple answers - the people who give you simple answers, are selling something.
What I would do is take OPK every day, and once you get a positive OPK, have one attempt. Timing really really does not sway and many of us on this site have 2-3-4 boys to prove it!http://genderdreaming.com/forum/gend...le-timing.html
