Yes I havent been too hard on my DH about the diet, but he has been taking the supplements, drinking more milk and I haven been salting his food! I try to make him things that are low in sodium, which is hard so I limit him on some stuff! I have been making him chicken more instead of red meat and hes been eating the pasta and rice with me, I just make him some kind of cream sauce to go on it or low sodium beans; green beans, salad with little dressing, strawberry smoothies. Also have him eating low sodium bread. Ill make him grilled cheese with it for breakfast. Also got him caff free cokes, and water more during the day! So pretty much I just have him avoiding the No-no's!!

Whatever else you do, as low sodium as you can and NO RED MEAT. This is a great idea for a thread!

I pretty much told him no red meat, low sodium, no caffeine, no bananas, no potatoes. He replied with, "Then what the HELL am I supposed to eat then?!?" No wonder we have two boys.

    Here is my idea:

Breakfast: Egg Beaters and a raspberry muffin with whole milk (don't want him to lose weight!)

Snack: Yoplait yogurt with Crystal Light

Lunch: Chunks of chicken in a low sodium sandwich/pita/wrap with sauce made of plain yogurt and Mrs. Dash chipotle seasoning; Yoplait Yogurt; Crystal Light

Snack: Strawberries with Equal; Crystal Light

Dinner: Chicken with either pasta (unsalted butter/parm. cheese) or rice and green beans; Crystal Light

    Dessert: Ice cream

Pretty much my DH won't eat cucumbers, smoothies, or most anything else on the girl diet. He is also hoping to maintain weight or not gain TOO much, as he has already lost quite a bit of weight in order to be healthier (he was pretty much obese when we conceived both of our boys!). He is now just overweight.

    Thoughts?

I've been giving DH Chicken and pasta almost every night (I'm sure he eats a multitude of sins at work) he hasn't complained yet infact he has been really good drinking his milk, taking his sups etc. We are only on week two... Role on another six weeks and im sure he will be moaning loads.
