Whenever I try to replace something for the turkey or chicken it is beans, which I am assuming we are not suppose to eat.

    Argh! I hate this diet!!!!
I know! I'm so sorry! If I didn't believe in it 100% I wouldn't tell anyone to do it.

Beans are a better option than turkey or chicken.

Another thing you can try is just eating a bite of turkey at a meal and see if it helps at all.

I always take chitosan before my dinner (when I eat my fat).

I was thinking last night about my two friends that are vegetarians and they both have boys. I think losing weight is more important and low sodium and potassium. If you are not losing weight on all those carbs, then I would try to add a little more protein in the mix.
Just know that some vegetarians eat a LOT of protein!

I agree about the weight loss aspect, if you're losing weight and eating less cals, you're swaying pink.

I really want a DD, but I am not going to be able to keep this diet up for long so I would rather have meat now and cut it completely out the days leading up to ovulation. If I don't get pregnant by fall I don't think I am going to continue with this diet.
But remember, it's the FERTILITY aspect that sways. We do the diet to lower our fertility but if someone already HAS lowered fertility for other reasons, or their DH does, they can eat blue all day long (and in fact they may have to just to get pg at all).

I would much rather you ease up on the diet to a level you feel comfortable, than give it up all together. Eat a little chicken, just don't go overboard with it and ~try~ to stay within the 40 g of protein (so choose to eat more low-protein foods like salad along with your chicken.)

I do think you should be at your lowest weight ever if at all possible.

You can always find tons of exceptions but the data indicates that vegetarians have significantly more girls.

Exactly this! SOME vegetarians (in fact I would say many) are extremely careful to eat a very balanced and healthy diet with ample calories/protein and healthy fats.

Adrian also has 16 cousins and 2 are girls (they were a FD sway many years ago) All the women in the family were either from vegan families or eating vegan for about 3 years before conceiving.
See this makes sense to me, because a family that has been vegan for a very long time would both be used to that style of diet so their bodies would not feel suddenly deprived of food, and they'd also tend to be very knowledgeable about planning meals.

My experience - living 5 min. from a 7th Day Adventist boarding school and being friendly with some of the teachers there - they have a lot more girls.

I don't think that would be healthy at all. I didn't break a 100 lbs until I was 21. There is no way I can get down to 99 lbs, and I really don't want to. I looked like death when I was that small.

    Ok, use your own judgement.

(PS - just to clarify, I don't mean your lowest weight ever in the history of your life, I mean the lowest weight you conceived at and some people may want to go below that.)
