Infertility issues- Pink sway
So on top of trying to sway pink, I also only have one fallopian tube. I ovulate from rotating sides each month which means my chances of conceiving 6 months out of the year are astronomically low. We were going to do IVF with PGD in August 2012 and while waiting for CD1 to start medications we found out we were shockingly pregnant on our own. That was DS#2. DS#1 was a clomid baby. Our insurance no longer covers IVF so that option is now off the table for us. I've read so much about pink swaying my eyeballs are aching. I would have wide open access to Clomid if I wanted it but where it gave me DS#1 I'm hesitant. I've got magnesium, calcium, cranberry, folic acid, drinking plenty of crystal light and limiting caffeine and potassium. I bought pH strips and and willing to do whichever timing technique is best (probably O+12). I am starting the girl diet this week and it will give me about a month before our next attempt.. would that be long enough on the diet to help sway?
I guess I'm also looking for anyone else who had some sort of fertility issue who had a successful pink sway.
Thoughts on getting the Clomid? Any other supplements you'd recommend? We need to so whichever methods have a better chance of conception while still swaying so big large cutoffs are probably not for us (although we BD 5 days before I ovulated with DS#2).
Thanks so much in advance!2009,

If it matters, I usually have significant ovulation pain and copious amounts of EWCM.

I am a learner myself, but from what I have read here O+12 is probably not the best idea, apparently it makes it close to impossible to conceive, I think it's best you read atomic's essay on it:

I would also drop the magnesium and all other supplements. Too many nutrients for a pink sway. Atomic says PH doesn't sway so you may be wasting your time testing it. I believe the LE diet and daily cardio are your best options for a good pink sway.

How do you know you ovulate from rotating sides each month? "Most" women ovulate primarily from the right, and the odd time from the left. And with only one ovary it's possible that your "good" side is picking up the slack...

I would 110% recommend you get the Clomid. Clomid has been a highly effective pink sway tactic for us. NO sway tactic is a magic bullet but it's gotten great results.
DO NOT do timing on Clomid. Timing doesn't work anyway. I would have you start off with one attempt at pos OPK while on Clomid, then switch to BD every 4 days, then the last 2 months on Clomid, do both.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I know I ovulate rotating sides due to my OB following my cycles and doing ultrasounds monthly due to some issues I was having. Despite trying all months, both times I conceived I was ovulating from my "good" side confirmed by ultrasound and corpus luteum cyst (mine remain large enough to have had both pregnancies be questioned as ectopic on my ovary)

I should also add that I have two ovaries, just one fallopian tube.

Are you doing any form of diet? I firmly believe that is the strongest and most essential pink sway tactic.
My Ovulation Chart currently TTC, Cycle #16 since last BFP
TTC #1- swaying pink on & off since Nov 2013 - hoping for a girl first but excited for either!
Dec 2001 - May 2006 : 5 early abortions of healthy singletons (3 medical @5w, 2 surgical @8w, last 4 pregnancies conceived with late DH, all conceived while TTA/on birth control)
Mar 2012: miscarried B/G twins @5w (conceived 2 cycles after remověng Paraguard copper IUD while NTNP), one twin was ovarian ectopic
Me: 34, widowed, late O + short LP, normal-good hormone levels excepting undetectable testosterone, seeking a known sperm donor/life partner
My sway: vegetarian LE for over 28w, skipping breakfast, fibre (ground psyllium husks) with/before/between meals, physically inactive, drama avoidance, ocassional minimal YesBaby lube as needed, alternate cycles on low dose Clomid, double shot lattes (with meals)
Past sway tactics I've dropped (in order): Vitex, Sudafed, antihistamines, intermittent fasting, one attempt per cycle at positive OPK, one attempt in fertile period
